From idea to words you can record
A script run takes one of your saved ideas and writes the whole thing in your project's tone. It follows the reference video's structure, so if the original won with a bold claim in the first second and a fast payoff, your script opens the same way, with your topic in it.
Write a script
- Open the video and select the Script tab.
- Choose which idea to write from.
- Choose the project the script is for, so it lands in your voice for your audience.
- Pick a length, or leave it on Auto.
- Click Write, then read it out loud once. Anything your mouth stumbles on, change. It's your video.
Two openings, you pick one
Every script comes back with two hooks, labelled A and B, and the body underneath. They're written to be genuinely different takes on the same opening, not one hook and a weaker copy of it.
Read both, then click Use this opening on the one you'd actually say. You can switch between A and B as many times as you like while the script is open. Your choice is saved, so when you come back to that script later it shows the opening you picked.
Each script also shows its word count and estimated spoken length at the top, so you know whether it fits the slot you had in mind before you start recording.
Choosing a length

Auto is the right default. Reach for a specific length when you're filling a known slot or matching a series you already run. Nothing is padded to hit the top of a range; a script ends when the payoff lands.
Scripts from a topic, with no idea
Open Scripts in the sidebar and use the panel at the bottom of the page. You don't need a saved idea or a reference video to write here. Type in the box, then set whatever you need in the bar underneath it:
- Project: the account this script is for. This is the one that changes the script the most, so it is worth setting. See below.
- Idea: one of your saved ideas, if you want the script written from it. Leave it on None and the script is written from whatever you type in the box instead.
- Length: Auto, Short, Medium, or Long. The table above explains what each one gives you.
- The box: describe the topic, the angle, or the message you want the video to land, up to 2000 characters.
Then click Write. Need a reminder of what each picker does while you are looking at it? Click How it works in the top right corner of the panel.
Why the project picker matters
A project carries your niche, your audience, the formats you actually film, and the notes you wrote in About this account: how you sound, what you sell, words you never use. The script is written using all of it.
Leave the picker on None and none of that reaches the writer. You still get a full script, but it is written for a general viewer in a general voice, so it reads like a script that could belong to anyone in your topic. Choose a project and the script talks to your viewer, in your words, in a format you can film. That is usually the difference between a script you record and a script you rewrite.
Finished scripts collect under Scripts in the sidebar either way. When a script is done, the Post Kit tab will package it with a caption, hashtags, and a title, free.
What it costs
One script credit per run: Starter includes 300 a month, Pro includes 600. Usage lives in Settings.
FAQ
Can I rewrite it if I don't like the script?
Yes. Each run uses a credit, so it's worth tightening the idea, the project description, or the length first; the script inherits its direction from all three.
How long are the scripts?
Whatever you picked, and on Auto they're sized to the idea rather than a fixed word count. A script from a 30-second reference comes out leaner than one from a 3-minute Short.
I picked the wrong hook. Can I switch?
While the script is open, yes: click the other one. Once you've moved on and come back, the script shows the opening you settled on, so copy the runner-up out first if you think you might want it.
