Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my Instagram or TikTok password?
No. ViewRank never asks for your Instagram or TikTok password. The extension reads the profile page that is already open in your browser.
Do I still have to check competitor profiles myself?
No, you do not have to. Add the creators you want to track, and ViewRank checks their profiles every few days. It learns how many views a normal video gets for each creator. When a creator posts a video that gets at least twice their normal views, ViewRank saves it to your account. Starter tracks 2 creators and Pro tracks 5.
Which platforms and content types are supported?
The extension works on Instagram Reels, Instagram posts, TikTok videos, and TikTok slideshows in Google Chrome. In the workspace, you can also import YouTube Shorts manually by URL or file upload.
How does visual analysis work?
ViewRank analyzes the video scene by scene. For each scene, you see what was said, what was on screen, and a short explanation of why viewers kept watching, with the frames next to it.
Can I use it for client work?
