Why projects exist
The same reference video should produce different ideas for a personal-finance channel than for a skincare brand. A project captures who you're making content for and how you talk to them, and ideas, scripts, and post kits are all written for whichever project you select.
Run one account? One project is all you need. Run a client roster or post in two niches, and projects keep each voice separate, so your B2B client's script never comes out sounding like your meme page.
What a project holds
Projects live in their own section of the sidebar. Adding one takes about a minute, and each field does a specific job:

Describe the audience honestly. Specific beats flattering: "first-time landlords confused by tax season" will steer the writers better than "real estate enthusiasts."
Choosing one before ideas or scripts
The panel at the bottom of the Ideas and Scripts tabs has a Project picker in its bottom bar, next to the character count, and it starts on None.
That is worth changing before you get ideas or write a script. Without a project the writer has no niche, no audience, and no voice to aim at, so it writes for a general viewer. You get a result, but it is the result anyone in your topic would get. With a project selected, the same request comes back written for your viewer, in your words, in a format you can film this week. It is one click and it changes more than anything else in the panel.
The selected project is doing real work there, so check it when you switch clients.
Transcriptions and Visual Analysis have no project picker, and that is on purpose: they describe a video that already exists rather than writing something new for you, so your niche has nothing to change.
Limits
Starter includes 3 projects, Pro includes unlimited. Like tracked-account slots, projects are standing slots rather than monthly credits: delete one and the slot is free immediately.
FAQ
Do projects share videos?
Your imported video library is yours, not tied to a project. Projects shape what gets written from those videos, not which videos you can see.
What happens to the ideas and scripts I made if I delete a project?
Ideas and scripts you saved stay in your workspace. You just can't make new content for that project once it's gone.
