Before you install
ViewRank is a free Chrome extension for desktop. It sorts any creator's Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or photo posts by real numbers, right on the page. You don't need an account to use it, and there's nothing to pay.
The extension only works on instagram.com and tiktok.com. It can't see any other site you visit.
Install and pin it
- Open the ViewRank page on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then confirm.
- Click the puzzle icon in your toolbar and pin ViewRank so it's always one click away.
Run your first rank
- Open a creator's Reels tab on Instagram (
instagram.com/username/reels) or their profile on TikTok (tiktok.com/@handle). - Click the ViewRank icon. Keep Videos mode selected.
- Choose how many recent videos to collect: 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, or All.
- Click Rank Now.
The page reloads and scrolls through the profile on its own, collecting video data as it goes. When it's done, a dark overlay opens with every video ranked by views. From there you can re-sort by likes, comments, outliers, or date without collecting again.

What each permission is for

Sorting, favorites, notes, and exports all stay in your browser. Nothing leaves it unless you connect the optional ViewRank AI workspace.
FAQ
Is the extension really free?
Yes. Ranking, outlier detection, favorites, notes, and exports are free with no account. The paid part of ViewRank is the ViewRank AI workspace, which is separate and optional.
Does it work in Safari, Firefox, or on my phone?
No. ViewRank is a Chrome extension for desktop. The workspace at app.viewrankai.com works in any browser, including on your phone, but ranking profiles needs desktop Chrome.
Do I need to be logged in to Instagram or TikTok?
You need whatever access the profile itself requires. If you can scroll the profile, ViewRank can rank it. Private accounts you don't follow return nothing.
