0:00Kevin, what's up, bro? Yo, man. How's it going? Yeah, sorry about I'm dealing with some sickness right now, so I'm going to be off camera. Question is I'm currently starting to make content around around my agency and started out with making shorts. I've made about 20 something shorts already that I've just started posting on to a new to a new platform. The content content that I'm that I'm using for this is that as I'm doing my my cold walk-ins, I'm kind of you know, obviously scrubbing some of the information not saying exactly who, but like really highlighting some of the challenges that some of the of my ICP is
0:40facing and and then you know, talking about solutions for that. So every time that I go into a place, I come out, you know, obviously I take my notes or whatever where I've talked to so-and-so business owner and then I say, okay, well, they're you know, they've had declining revenue. This is the reason and they're not doing any marketing and this is how you know, and this is how
0:58you this is how I would fix it, right? I wanted to know if this is if for me it's very it's a very low friction way for me to get content out and that directly addresses a lot of the pain points that my ICP is directly giving me like, you know, what is it called? A hand-to-mouth. Um, but it doesn't perlay itself well into a long form piece of content unless I kind of aggregate all the things for the week and do something like that. So my question is is that do I know you have both a long form and a short form sort of strategy. Do you
1:33think that I should just run up the short form for as long as possible and then potentially look at long form or is long form something that needs to be part of the initial strategy? Well, I think I think it's it's important to see like is it even possible for you to sign clients with this specific marketing channel to this specific industry. So if like if you sit there making short form for like 2 3 months and you've signed legitimately [ __ ] zero clients for it and you've signed like there's like zero
2:04usefulness of it at all, just just stop. It's just there's there's actually no It's like that's I I actually don't have a short form strategy. I don't do that at all. Like I I exclusively The only thing that goes on my Instagram is is [ __ ] clipped from YouTube videos I've already filmed and it's just to show that my profile is active when I run ads for my zero other function. I don't think I've I I don't think I've ever made a single dollar off of Instagram organic ever in my life. Like literally
2:34not even once. Um it just doesn't work for me. It It It doesn't It never has. It probably never will and that's so I therefore like don't spend any time into it anytime anybody pitches me anything in regards to it, I'm very clear about that. It's never worked, it never will. So, it's not for me. Um So, I think it's about finding whether that does work for you and if it doesn't, just like stop and just only do
2:57the thing that does. Okay. Yeah, I got you. So, then that means I may I in order for the test to be complete, that means I need to probably put together some long form as well, which is not hard. I'm a content creator. I just I was like, all right, maybe I'll just run out of the short
3:10form and give it enough chance. Uh but yeah, I know that that that that that answers my question. I'm going to go ahead and and I'll put together some long form as well and I'm sure I I I I I kind of subconsciously knew the [ __ ] answer that the long form is the long form just built a lot more trust than seeing a whole bunch of clips and [ __ ] Um but um but yeah, no, that that
