1:20I'm going to go to login now we're going to go ahead and create the website so I'm going to find the template that I like to use and I'll let you guys know which one all right this one looks pretty good this is called Clarkson so let's go ahead and just start with that let's go ahead and call our website Linden media all right so here we are on Squarespace so let's go ahead and start building this first thing we're going to do is edit and edit section go ahead and change the background change this to whatever you want so we're just going to go find a background image on pixels.com

1:44this is a great website where you're not going to get sued for any of the photos that you use so I'm just going to look up media and again you can do this however you want but I'm just going to do this how I want perfect great photo right there [Music] all right we're gonna leave that like that for now sweet so we get like social media and let's say I'm a short form video editing company let's just say helping you grow [Music] on Tick Tock Instagram and YouTube shorts [Music] I will just say YouTube I like to really have a clean header so I take out most

3:36and you have to go ahead and create an account so after you've created a calendly it'll look something like this I have the 15-minute meeting available that's really what you want for sales calls and stuff like that or a 30 minute meeting but I always just do 15 minutes you have your calendly link so this is the link that you'll be sending prospects or asking them to book a call with so we'll go ahead and get my link boom go ahead and copy that let's go back to Squarespace we're going to go into edit and then we're going to go to book a call go ahead and customize it and the link

4:06will you'll click settings and for the web address you'll go and paste that calendly link in there so now whenever somebody clicks that link they'll go to your calendly page and then they'll be able to book a call with you and why not select open a new window so just so they don't go off of your website I really like to have a lot of book of call buttons on the page just so as people are reading they always have the option to book a call that's just my personal preference great so now go ahead and save that and now when someone is on your website they can go ahead and

4:34scroll down and when they decide to book a call it's going to take them to your calendly page where they can book a meeting a side note you can also book a call through Squarespace scheduling however I think that calendly is just easier and it's also cheaper the next thing we're going to do is actually go into the pages section and just go ahead and delete all of the pages in there your website is essentially just that page so the only page that they should see is the landing page so you shouldn't have links to other Pages or anything like that again this is all for like starting

5:00an agency this is all like keep it simple once you're making like a hundred thousand dollars a month then you can you know add some more stuff to your website but for like zero to like 30k this is more than enough and boom we have our website so this is how it looks helping you grow on Tick Tock Instagram yeah and then when people want to book a call to click book a call takes you to your calendly so it's perfect literally everything you need in a website and I'll show you guys one of my actual websites for an old agency that I ran this one so this is when you put more

6:49month so it's not bad we're gonna go ahead and click get a new domain and let's buy the domain for my website so my website is called Linden media let's see if that's available it is not available okay so that's interesting so maybe I would change the name on Squarespace and buy a different domain but I'm just going to say Linden media smma that's definitely not taken so we got the.com domain go ahead and just add that to your cart go to your cart and you can check out I'm not gonna buy that one because I don't need it yeah once you have that you can go back to

7:14Squarespace and go ahead and connect your main all right so you're going to go into settings and then click on domains use the domain I own and then just enter the domain so we'll say Lyndon yeah .com boom so we use that domain all right and then you're going to click transfer domain I'm not going to connect this domain because it's not mine but yeah you'll just go through follow this process and your domain should be connected the last thing that you're going to want to do is set up a Google workspace so let's go ahead and do that you're going to go back to Google

7:42domains go to my domains and then find one so I'll just find I'll use I don't know passive scripts that's fine we can do that so we'll use passivescripts.com and then click get workspace your admin account it'll be your first name Linden chesting put your backup email and then your username I just like to put my name I also always get a workspace for payments but you can do that later on once you sign a client and you have more money for now you just want to have like for example like Lyndon lyndonmedia.com it just looks a lot more professional than a standard lyndon.chaste gmail.com so

8:17your prospects will take you more seriously and you're more likely to book a meeting and click next and I always like to go with business starter it's it's the cheapest one there's not really too big of a reason to go more than that unless you need the Google storage and stuff like that so I just go seven twenty a month it's pretty damn cheap last step there is just click buy and you are all set to go alright so now you have a website accountably and a Google Workspace Email you are now ready to start outreaching to clients and booking meetings I know some of you watching are
