0:01[music] My name is Cal Day. I am the SVP of product and engineering for [music] one of our product development divisions at Nokia. [music] We are trying to leverage cursor as an agentic platform to introduce specialized agents that are persona specific for every aspect of work that we do that can partner with the human in

0:30seat that does that [music] work today. Those things become much more possible if we are able to iterate in much much faster loops. That directly impacts customer economics, lowers unit cost, improves customer satisfaction, and then finally there's an entire class of things that I think we're now going to be able to do faster that are to do with increasing resilience, reliability, and security in the network. Cursor and cursors agents that increasingly many of them are out of the box is a massive step up in accelerating analysis, getting insights that otherwise would not be possible. So we're at the beginning of a very

1:09critical journey. We've burnt the boats. Our plans, our goals for this year, not next year, for this year hinge on this working. We have a product line easily 50 plus million lines of code. [music] We are I would say in an intermediate stage of decomposing what is fundamentally a monolith oriented architecture. It would be a very daunting task for us to attempt [music]

1:35a manual inspection of that code base. We have undertaken that with [music] cursor. Our early results of that analysis have been remarkable. We have been able to do precisely what I just described [music] which would have required bespoke tooling would have taken far longer, probably several months of effort across probably a dozen or more expert people. We performed the initial analysis as one example, within a matter of I think a couple of weeks by [music] two people. We've seen evidence of Cursor being deployed very successfully in situations that involved a need to move very quickly where we have run into a customer impacting defect that might

2:14be having a subscriber impact. And now we're able to do that against an extremely large corpus of service requests and radically accelerate uh something like a root cause analysis. These examples have not been one or two. They've been quite a few and growing in number. That's where we're seeing uh I'd say the early success. And where we would love to take it next [music] is leveraging Cursor as a platform for [music] multi-agent deployment and orchestration where really the role of the engineer, the architect becomes the supervision of agents that are calling out to tools that are performing work at scale,

2:52collaborating with one another. [music] We are literally redesigning our entire software development life cycle from inception [music] through product delivery and everything that comes in between.
