This is the full transcript of GROK BOT JUST WON ($600M Founder's Honest Take), published on YouTube by Simon Beard. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.
0:00I don't use a mouse and keyboard anymore. I run a team of AI agents just like employees. I've never been more wowed by a piece of technology in my life. I was on Open Claw in February doing live demos to my One Life community and did meet-ups around Australia for charity where a thousand people at each event and we auctioned off Mac Minis for 20 grand. I have completely switched over from Open Claw to GrokBot and I have to tell you this is the most exciting piece of tech I've ever used in my life. I was trying all of these agents at once, but Elon making
0:37GrokBot headless and the new updates that I'm going to just talk about on this video have just made it the most mind-blowing piece of technology and it's why Elon was just quoted saying this the other day. On on the GrokBot side, we're seeing the fastest growth of a product that I've ever seen in my life. This will blow your mind because the first thing it saved me money on was its own Grok subscription. This is the most revolutionary piece of tech I've ever
1:04used and you have to start using it. Here are my biggest takeaways. The initial setup is so simple, but you have to connect it. You have to give it computer. You have to You have to connect it to your email, to your calendar, to ideally your GitHub or where the where ever your memory is stored from all your existing agents that you've been using so it can use off
1:26that. It's not starting from scratch. And if you're using an Open Claw or a Mac Mini before, just simply put that entire memory up on the GitHub and connect to it. And the more you can connect to it, the more powerful it is, the more context it can cross layer. But what I want is a win for you straight away that actually pays for the GrokBot instantly, which is connecting if you're a business your zero. If you're a person, your personal banking. You can talk with it on how to do it whichever the best way in your country. And if you're too scared to do that, just do a
1:58big export of your statement and upload it to it. You go to the SpaceX marketplace, go grab the Haggle Bot, one click, add it to yours, it will build it, and then simply point it at the goal, "Can you save me money going through my Xero, my bank statement, any subscriptions, anything you think I don't need?" This will blow your mind because the first thing it saved me
2:22money on was its own Grok subscription. But now they've just created an account so you can pay one subscription across it all, and it worked out I was paying a $500 super gro- super heavy Grok plus Cursor plus X. Instead of paying $500 a month, it was down to $300 for the ultra plan, and it was better. And I got a refund from Cursor, and it did it automatically. This is insane. It just literally shot itself in the foot in canceling its own to save me money, but as Elon says, built from truth-seeking, it was able to do this. Just on the personal side, let alone on the business
3:01side, actually finding subscriptions that we weren't even logged into and using within this Haggle Bot alone saved me more than $100,000. I can't wait for you to put it in and see what it can save you, but I'm sure it can save you your Grok your Grok subscription alone. That's just to get you this cool wow moment, but the real unlock here is growth is the new productivity that you can do. Now the biggest thing to remember here with Grok Bot is what I try and tell everyone is that you have to speak of it speak to it like it's a person. Stop thinking it's a software
3:33like you need someone to show you or walk you through it. Whatever that question is, just ask it. It is the expert across all of these fields. Now the best way to think of it and its parts is like this. The agent harness, that's the body. That's the arms and legs. That's what connects to everything. And the more you can connect to just like a person when they start work at your company, you need to be able to connect them to all the tools, otherwise they're But once they're
3:59connected, so the harness is the body. This used to be Open Claw or Hermes, but Grokbot is the body. The brain, that's the model. So you can use Anthropic's latest model, OpenAI's Astra, Grok's own brain. And this was the best part of Open Claw is cuz you could switch it. But now, Grokbot, you can switch out the brain, but it has all the security and the ease of use that is so much easier to use than going to the Open Claw and having to build a lot of the stuff yourself. But the most amazing thing is that and the reason that I switched over is that if you have something you love
4:37from your previous agent, Open Claw, dots, wherever, just explain what that is that you love about it and build it in. For me, I loved what I built into my Jarvis, my Open Claw, was the Soul MD. Was the ability you could give it a soul where I wanted mine to be always take the next step. If it's not an irreversible decision, I want you to just do it. I would rather you take action and ask for forgiveness than just keep coming back to me asking for approval. And I would want it to be all gas, no brakes, on the front foot. And I built this into its Soul MD, which
5:14that's how it acted. And when we have in minds have a lot of people with all different Open Claws that were like Jarvises just like you could see the difference that it would act, but because of that Soul MD in that's it's real soul just like a human. And cuz I'm reverse engineering my own traits that I like and want into it. And because this is not for everyone, this is very risk on agent that I can afford to have. I even had you can spend up to $500 on my card if it's created a magic moment if if you think it's worth it. And one of
5:43the hardest things was Open Claw was managing the context window. When you have this employee, that's when you got to think of it's a desk in front of it. This is everything it's writing down in that conversation, in that chat, is its context window. And let's just say you can get up to a million tokens, but the best way to think is about 200,000 cuz above that it starts to lose it. But when this desk starts to get full, it needs to then work out, okay, what's important on here, what parts do I save, and then do I put in my filing cabinet, which is my memory, and which stuff do I
6:14need to delete? One of my biggest lessons on all these hours on Open Claw is realizing the thing with memory is that you don't want to save everything. One of the most important parts is that I know now that is not a filing cabinet of dump of everything, or you can put that somewhere, but most important memory, it's an operating manual. Just like your standard, your policies and procedures in a company, it's how we do things, and it's always got to be updated. And in today's world, that is changing so much. But the best part about Grok Bot is that whole desk to part is that it manages itself so well
6:47now. Because not only does it have this desk for this part, is that it can recreate itself and create another agent that say would just do short-form video editing. And this agent can then be the CEO and tell that agent what to do. To do that one to do DMs. For that one to be chief investment officer across all my investments. For that one to be on my health data and pulling it all from my Whoop, my full body full body MRI, my blood work, compiling it, my daily diet, my trainer upload, and bringing it all together. It can just keep creating its
7:22agents and report back to who I talk to. My Grok Bot is Elon, the CEO, I call him. But the next step to do is that if you're going to switch over, and most importantly, say you you were using Open Claw or a different agent before, you've updated all of that memory, you've got it off a local into GitHub or wherever you want to store it. You need your Grok bot to do a deep analysis of your memory and look for contradictions. I use this Matthew Paddock skill, which is amazing in software development called Grill Me, one of the most popular on GitHub, but say make a version of this skill, but to
7:58grill me on my memory to look for contradictions. Cuz what I want you to do is go through my memory and look at where I've got contradictions, and this will blow your mind. Cuz when you're pulling on all your transcripts, your meeting data, your email, there's a lot of stuff that jumps around. Wait, wait, is it $7,000? Is it $6,000 now? Are we
8:20having it this venue now or this venue? And this is where I would find my Open Core would get confused sometimes, but it's because there was contradictions in the memory. Now, the first time you're going to do this, especially with the Grill Me skill, is going to be brutal. This reminded me exactly when I was doing due diligence to sell my company, is that you would get these questions in due diligence. And they're just like hundreds of questions, and they're so brutal. But you have to stay there and answer each one. For me, this was hundreds and hundreds of questions. It took hours to do. But once I did it, oh
8:51my god, my memory was next level. It was I like to call it it's an operating manual now. If you get that, you've got your memory, you've got your agent. My biggest advice, just like when I I had a thousand employees at Culture Kings, my onboarding was so crucial because you need to give employees a vision. A vision in especially for employees to do join your team, you actually have to have a vision big enough that their dream is going to fit inside yours. This is actually what you need to recreate here with your agent, is that and I think this is where I'm so excited
9:24because it's exactly like with humans. You need to give it a clear North Star goal. What's the quote? Without a vision, people perish. You have to say, "Well, what is your goal? What do you want to do? What do you want to achieve in how long a time frame? I believe with your agent, you should give it as much memory and context as possible. You should talk to it about your strengths, what are your weaknesses, how do you like to be spoken to, how do you like to work, what amount of reminding is enough. Like a big thing is explaining my weaknesses. One time sometimes I can
9:55do one, two, three, 10. And this was a great part in building Coach Kings with Tani is she was so good at catching the four, five, six, seven, eight and could see the vision and could actually make it happen. And I always say this, without Tani, I never would have I never would have got the result I had cuz the
10:10would have just kept falling over. But she made that that was her strength. And now my whole part is like that's what I speak into my agent and because that's a part as I want catch, I want the follow, I want to be chased. But this is the part. You can speak to your agent about your goals, about how to structure ab- about your strengths, your weaknesses, even telling your story, your biggest lessons in life, if you've got any principles you've developed over time. Like I spoke with mine all about our core values at Coach Kings. The
10:40numbers don't lie, check the scoreboard. It's not what I think's cool or they or vanity metrics. People vote with their freaking wallet and always get realigned to that. Happiness is is being challenged yet on top of things. You need a challenge where you go, "Oh, I don't know if I'm going to pull it off." But you but you bust your ass and you come to different angles and that feeling of pulling it off, oh my god, amazing. If you're not making mistakes, you are not pushing hard enough. These are some of my principles that I built in and explained to it about the agent and how I operate which just the more
11:10you can do this, the more it just enhances and is such a multiplication of yourself. And then my biggest advice, so many people quit because they do not use it enough. They do not get this momentum. And I like to think it's like riding a bike, it just takes a bit but once you get that balance, it's not only like riding a bike, it's like a jetpack going down a hill. And I think one of the best ways now the Grok 3.0 voice mode is insane. For the next 2 weeks, if you do this, I will bet this will have a major impact in your life. For the next
11:412 weeks, whenever you're in the car, wherever you're in transport, and you can just speak, do not listen to music, do not listen to a podcast, all you do is speak to your Grok bot. And if you don't know what to ask it, say you reverse prompt me based on my goal, my North Star goal, based on where everything's at, what's some questions you can ask me that I can give you more information in to help us get there. And you just keep feeding it in. It will be crazy how you can use this super intelligence to align with your North Star. And then your next most important
12:11step to do is lock in a weekly meeting with it. Exactly like you would do with an employee. Think about it, you've got a CTO, COO that would have cost millions of dollars a year. You couldn't even afford to buy them. They work now for free 24/7, whenever you want, they're ready to go. But you have to use it. Think of it just like an employee, you have to sit down with it. Just like
12:33running a one-on-one, what is working? Where has stuff broken and how can we fix it? Tell it, I want you to go through all the Grok bot logs that have come out over the last week in preparation for our one-on-one. What are all the updates? And then think about how we interact in our memory, what is some suggestions it might have on how we can use it. So it's prepared for the one-on-one and brings all this info for you. Ask, what is the tweaks that we need to make to the Soul MD? Where was
13:02it annoying? Where was it the best? What's the right tonality? These are some words that you can never say. You're like, I hate this AI. Never use M dash, never use write it just like I would write it. Don't make it too too pretty. I want it direct. One of my values that I always say, one of my values that we built in the One Life Club, I got an entrepreneur community and it's like value per second. Like we have to get out of our heads this whole thing, which is the whole consultant era of billing per time, their whole thing is how do I text that how do I get
13:32something and drag that freaking thing out when now it's just collapsed. It's all about value per second. It's tight, as clean as possible. Another pro tip, Karpathy put about these airline protocols of how they supposed to write, you can actually send them this link and this actually helped in the my communication with my Grok bot of how it would explain stuff to me. In this short sentences system way and it's rather than specially the old school Claude that would just go into a novel explaining something that was very annoying. My last tip for this video, oh man, I could keep going for hours on this, but this one is an absolute game
14:09changer. So, since Elon Musk made it headless, you can switch out the model. This blew my mind. I was looking at a certain business deal investment in a part. I had all the data all the data room the part and then I was just like, wait a minute, you can connect to Astra, you can connect to Chat GPT, you can connect to Anthropic, Grok bot's its own brain. But then as well, I connected even a Meta Muse wonder as that's now frontier and Grok itself and I said I want you to do a detailed part using this expert prompt here. Then I said, run this run the same prompt through all
14:40four models. I want you to give me all the answers, but I don't want you to tell me which one's which cuz we have a bias, right? We go, oh, Anthropic's the best or Chat GPT based on your own preference. I want you give all four. That way I want to decide only after I decide which is the best, then I want you to tell me. And I can tell you on this business deal, it was crazy how different the different ways of structuring how we put it together, but what was crazy is that in both of them, Meta Muse, the new Meta Muse wonder, its
15:09new model that it just released, which is just caught up to the frontier Alexander Wayne, oh my god, what a greatest aqua hire of all time, that one both of my valuations, which was crazy to think. And the best part is is that because I wasn't predis- I wasn't I didn't have this pre-contaminator which one was the best, I read it and I understood it and I thought about it a lot. And this was an absolute game-changer in that breaking your own pattern. And this is how you can really create your own evaluations, you know, which can be this real advantage going forward. Do not hesitate now, download
15:46GrokBot, get it on your phone, connect everything up, give it your existing memory or if you don't have anything just export your ChatGPT data and and feed it all that. Tell it your North Star goal, get the SpaceX haggle bot so it's already paid for itself. For the next week, no podcast, no listening music anytime by yourself, just be speaking to your GrokBot. What a time to be alive. Comment below what's the big skill you want me to unpack and in-depth for my next video and do not and don't
16:16stop learning, don't stop tinkering. This is the biggest opportunity of our lifetime. It's like from an intelligence point of view, it didn't matter everything that you've learned, we're all starting from the same the gun's gone off. Have you started running yet?
