0:00We got to talk about making money with Facebook Muse. I mean, if you are looking for a way to make an internet dollar and you are not playing with personal agents like Muse, I don't really understand. I wanted to come on here and make an episode for people who are looking for arbitrage opportunities to go and use AI to make money. I gotta think that using Facebook Muse right now or Muse, Metam Muse as they're calling it, is probably one of the ways that, you know, to make your first internet dollar might be one of the easier things to do. Um, I haven't seen anyone talk

0:39about tactically how you can go and make say a million dollars uh using personal agents yet and what they'd actually do. And when I look at this, when I look at the arbitrage opportunity that exists here, it absolutely blows my mind. And by the way, by the end of this episode, I'm going to explain how it works, how you can do it, why I think this is a big opportunity, some tips and tricks, some tools you can use, some ideas. But stick with me for some amount of time while I crash out about why this is just an incredible opportunity to make your first internet dollar or make your

1:17second internet dollar. Today's episode is brought to you by Brex. My company's been on Brex for a year and a half and I started because I kept hearing companies like Verscell, OpenAI, Anthropic were using Brex and I figured if they're using it, why shouldn't I? It's been a gamecher. The thing that got me is how

1:35smooth it is. It's got high limit cards. It's got banking. It's got AI that handles the back office busy work like expense reports, which I don't want to do on its own. It's really just built for this agentic world. If you're building something new, it's time to get Brex. Check it out at brex.com/solutions/artups.

2:03I recently had a baby. My wife had a baby. We had a baby and we were looking for a night nurse and I couldn't find one really. Uh went through friends and stuff. Then went and spoke to an agency. the agency basically admitted that they were going through Facebook groups and looking at say uh Miami night nurses um or South Florida night nurses or New York night verses and they would bring them uh to here and I was like that's crazy that I would pay a fee for that when I could use Muse to go and do that in today's day and age. We need to take

2:48a step back and realize that you can now use Muse to go and mine Facebook groups, marketplace, and Instagram. Uh, I have no affiliation with Meta. Um, I mean, I even said, you know, I think I even called the name of this product wrong. I called it Facebook Muse. It's MetaMuse. Um the point is uh what they are doing is in some ways cannibalizing the billions of users that exist on Facebook groups, marketplace and Instagram and allow you to go and create some sort of arbitrage. So I think it's just one of the greatest ways to make a business. I think that there's going to be a thousand plus millionaires

3:36that, you know, are birthed from this era. Uh, and I want to talk about, you know, by the end of this episode, we'll talk about how I actually think that you can take one of these small businesses that you start using Metamuse with and then turn it into something bigger. So, let's get into what I why I think this is such a big opportunity. There's all these buyers here, literally billions of buyers on the internet, and they're going onto places like Facebook groups, like marketplace, like Instagram, asking for for help. In my case, it was, you know, care for a newborn. Um, and then there's these sellers who are like, I

4:13can do this thing. I can do this thing. Who needs it? Um, now what you need to be thinking about is if you want to create this side hustle or side business or or full-on business, what is a niche? What is a city? What are the rules? And how do you approve uh people in in this sort of thing? So, by the way, I've got some extra business ideas and some notes I took on how to get the most out of Muse if you want to build a business with it. and I want to give it away. If this episode gets 5,000 likes, con comments, and subscribe. So, go stop,

4:48hit pause, go like, comment, subscribe. If it gets 5,000, I'll include it as a pinned uh comment on YouTube where you can go and click the link and get it for free. Let's see if it gets there. All you have, you know, what you got to do. What's going to happen here is um you know if if we're if we're picking you know night nurses in Orlando um you know you are asked like all of a sudden you can start one of those agencies right like it and it's just high margin right because you don't have to hire people to go and through through these Facebook

5:24groups anymore um you know Muse is doing the work for wa and watching everything muse is doing all the structure the matching the drafting DMs, the calls and texts and and and booking. And we'll get into how it can actually do calls in a second or in a bit. Um, but it can actually do all those things. And I know that there's people being like, okay, wow, you're just like you're kind of

5:48doing some information arbitrage here. Um, there's no real, you know, there's no business here. There's no value in that. You own the asset. So, all of a sudden, Muse is cleaning. Like think of this as like dirty data, right? Not everyone who's posting on on marketplace, on groups, on Instagram is high quality. But Muse is going to actually do the cleaning of the data to basically you know put it on a list and you can use Air Table, Google Sheets, whatever you use but have have a repository of the data where now you have this compounding piece of data uh of names who have needs who have prices

6:31who have trust signals that by the way eventually you could sell. And I think I want to do a whole other episode on, you know, data brokering and this whole idea of like what data means and how you can sell it. We're going to probably do another episode on that. So, just punt that. We'll we'll get to that in another

6:50episode. Um, but you own that asset. That asset is is yours. It's yours to keep. And that's that's worth a lot of money. And that's why I think that there's, you know, thousands of businesses, um, conservatively speaking, even niches, time cities, night nurse in Tampa, furniture in Austin, plumbers in Phoenix, and for the first time ever, you could clean the data using Muse, um, using Muse, right? Um, so it's, you know, by now you've probably seen it, played with it. Um, the fact that I can go and say, "Hey, I want a list of night nurses who are $30 an hour in um, Montreal, Canada, and it's going to search

7:41um public data. So, it's going to go through public Facebook groups. Um, it's going to go through, you know, if you ask it, it'll go through Instagram. You know, marketplace is fully public. Now, it doesn't go into private groups. So, if you do want it to go into private groups, you do need to join those groups. But, you can basically have this as your little agency. like you've now gone and you know incubated an agency that uh you know uh connects this need with um with the you know the need with the the need and the the demand and the supply. There you go. Um and that's what

8:24this whole thing is. And you know I I sound old because I've been doing this a long time. I remember when eBay was like first like becoming a thing. eBay was a similar thing too where it was like this whole new marketplace of and people made millions of dollars on eBay when you know the top people made millions of dollars when they realized like oh hey I just got to figure out what are some unique products that I can go and sell um that that marketplace didn't exist and there's a tremendous amount of value in connecting the buyer and seller. So I had to come on here and and and I was

9:03just like how I know this is like really simple when you break it down like this like oh yeah there's this a you know information uh arbitrage that exists um but there's just tremendous amount of opportunity in in this like Meta is is cannibalizing all these platforms in some in some way because you know you're allowed to use muse to go and actually uh do this thing, right? So like here we can see um you know assume $30 Canadian an hour and it just gives me a list of people. Um so now I have to go and clean this data in the sense of like is Beatatrice a

9:51Beatatrice actually high quality or um you know maybe she doesn't have a lot of experience. So, how can I go and do that? And there's a lot of questions around the cleaning of the data. Um, we're going to get into that in a second. Um, but I think the the point is uh each niche and each demand there's going to be a different way. There's not like a one-sizefits-all for you to like clean the data. Like people are going to be asking how do you do it? There's, you

10:20know, it's going to be at a high level. It's going to be about like what do people want? what does your ICP want and how can I put it in a Google drive in an air table in a Google sheet such that uh I can actually connect these people. So like um if you scroll down here um people are actually giving uh Muse uh a dedicated number by connecting it to Bland AI's agent phone plan. It's called agent land line. no affiliation. Um, but basically it's a nonv voiceover IP US number with talk and text. So you can literally sign up for a bland AI account. Uh, it's I think 15 bucks for

11:06agent phone plan. All of a sudden your Muse agent, you can say you can prompt your Muse agent, get yourself a phone number and call me. And all of a sudden your, you know, incubation, your agency is, you know, you can call people, you can have it reach out to people, you can have it close sales for you. This is this is the state of where we're in today. Yeah. And it'll go it'll draft it and reach out to people and and we can ask it like how did you find these people? which groups also can you look on Instagram and it's probably going to say yeah I

11:49went on this Facebook group right which leads me to by the way a whole other point which is you know what's really undervalued right now like insanely undervalued um well definitely um definitely Facebook groups I think there's 1.8 8 um 1.8 billion monthly active users if I'm if I'm not mistaken. So if we're going to have if you believe that we're going to have millions of Muse agents going and crawling Facebook groups, why aren't you creating a Facebook group right now? Why aren't you create creating a Facebook group right now? Because they're going to be searching those things. And by the way, whole arbitrage opportunity around

12:34buying Facebook groups right now. Now, go look go look at the uh terms of service of Facebook. I'm not sure if that's like how kosher that is. So, go and go and check that out. But, you know, if you're able to do it and and if it is, you know, uh good by terms,

12:52they're probably undervalued right now. Um other thing that's probably really undervalued by now right now is uh you know just you know business pages, right? Facebook Facebook business pages that um Facebook can crawl uh sorry that Muse can crawl, right? So you can go and create like Miami uh the Miami Agency for Night Nurses or the Montreal, you know, night nurse agency undervalued. Um and then you know IG obviously pages too just pa p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p pages that

13:30you you know Muse is going to crawl IG niche pages underval is is now undervalued. Um and I know like how could they be undervalued? They're so big right now. It's like there they're undervalued in this personal agent age. So let's look. Um so there were no groups. It came from public listing sites. Um, and it did Instagram sweep. So, it added people on Instagram. And I'm going to say, "Okay, I want you to give me 20 people, not people, night nurses from Facebook

14:08groups. Quality there is highest." So, um, the default, that's really interesting. So the default is it's not going and and sort of cannibalizing Facebook groups, right? But you can prompt it to go and do that and I'm and I'm finding some of the highest quality uh data is coming from Facebook groups. Um so you know the bigger idea here is yes there's these marketplaces that Meta owns that you can go and and grab stuff from but there's also a whole set of other mines or other marketplaces that you can go for. So when you have to when you're figuring out what your niche is, obviously you want to add other

14:52marketplaces, but to start there's just so much good stuff. Facebook groups, marketplace, Instagram, uh if you're, you know, buying and selling services, there's there's a stupid amount. It's absolutely absurd amount of opportunities that exist right now. Let's go down here and and see what we got. So um the interesting thing about marketplace is it's it's all public. So all the data is public. So think about you know where is there mispriced or mislabeled listings? Where there photos or no details? Things that are sitting for a long time. How can you bundle up a bunch of stuff in different locations? Split it up and resell. Um go and look for

15:42things that are pickup only. have muse basically say like what you know oh go and find me pick up only pianos and go and you know bring them together and then ship them pianos bad example because they're heavy um but you know you get the idea right Mac minis go and go and pick up only Mac minis um p when you you can have muse basically look at when the prices drop or or relisted because those you know are more willing to take an offer and then you can have muse negotiate on on your on your behalf. So, um you know, and then we talked a little bit about this like

16:20Instagram, so many good places to mine. You can mine comments, you can mine the bios, you can mine stories. What I've noticed is you have to tell Muse like Muse doesn't come up with these ideas themselves. You saw it uh in my in my demo. Like it it it it looked at public data for Canadian.ca.

16:40um probably not the best place to start. Um and someone actually who's like looking for uh newborn care, I I know that that's not a great place uh not the best place to start. So, um you have to go and tell it that. And and Meta is smart, right? Zuck is smart. He's not gonna he's not gonna by default

17:05cannibalize marketplace and Instagram. You got to go and tell him. But it's remarkable at how good how good it is. Um let's go back to um Muse. It's still okay. It's still cooking. The other thing I wanted to talk about is uh this is kind of how I'm thinking about it is like there's three levels to this whole personal agent um

17:32opport you know arbitrage opportunity. So the first level is mining. So you're finding gold in other people's groups on other people's on marketplace in general on IG. Um the second level is once you own the list. So once you take it off platform and you've cleaned it, you've priced it and you created trusted list, you've now created some value of your business. And uh the third level is owning the room. So, owning the Facebook group, owning a niche IG, having marketplace storefronts, this is like

18:06the natural like progression. And I actually think, you know what, there's actually another level. Um, the other level is, and we'll put it here, level four, um, is build technology. So once you've you you know you've built an audience here, you've got clean data and you understand the workflow, it's you know what startup can I build that could automate this end to end and this is like you know building SAS this is building agents um vertical agents this is building vertical harness uh harnesses Um, if you listen to the Startup Ideas podcast, this podcast, you know that, um, you know, kind of obsessed with a lot of that stuff, and

19:06I'll include more, um, episodes in the future on how to do that. But I think this is why I think it, this isn't just a I can make $1,000 a month or $2,000 a month. This is, you know, a real opportunity to go down the levels, learn about a niche, learn about uh a a workflow, start cleaning, you know, the data, building your audience, and then building technology that automates that that actually creates a ton of value um in terms of enterprise value. Now, the question you might have is how how do

19:41you create an audience from doing this? And what's really cool about Muse is you can actually go and do um you can actually go and have it like research people on IG and formats on IG and have it starting to help you create content ideas and stuff like that for you. Um so I would use Muse as like your content hub. Um, I might do a whole other episode on uh like carousels and tactical like content stuff. Um, but uh like high level Muse is a really good place to go and check out in, you know, explore Instagram, see what's working, have it like run your account for you. Um and

20:34and that's that's sort of the the fourlevel framework. Um let's see if Muse is ready. All right. So it's gone and mined the actual group posts. It looks at like Montreal moms looking for babysitters, babysitter needed in Montreal, West Island Community Montreal, Mont Montreal cash jobs, Filipino caregiver Montreal ranked by quality parent recommendations first. I'm not going to go through this, but like just by looking at this, this seems just really really high quality. If I'm looking and think about it, right? Like if you're looking for a night nurse, would you be willing to pay someone a few hundred uh success fee if you connect them? um

21:18in the old you know economic breakdown um like when you had to hire an agency and there's like a team of five people going and doing all this stuff that thing that might have cost you thousands of dollars but now the cost structure is so much less so you can pass on the savings to the parents um while also making insane insane margins marketplace is you know where Muse is is buying and selling things I think there's a ton of opportunity in terms of physical goods, buying and selling things. This is like your Gary Vee strategy there where he goes into garage shops, garage sales, and buys and sell things. That's not

21:57like what excites me the most. I'm more interested in the services component and and that's really mostly in groups. So, Muse hears needs. Um, Instagram Muse finds people, proves they're good, watches their life's moments, and builds an audience of your own, so you own trust and attention. There you have it, folks. This is just my raw thoughts on an incredible opportunity that exists right now. I'm not sure how long it's going to last. Um, you know, one question that people might have for me is does it have to be Muse? What about Dots? What about Instinct? What about um the other ones? And uh personal agent

22:41platform has their pros and cons. What Muse is just extraordinary at is mining Facebook groups, Instagram, and marketplace. Um, also, you know, they're pushing it really heavily right now. So, in terms of like mainstream adoption, they might be number one. We'll see. Um, I think that DOTS is really interesting, too. Um, it's it feels like a, you know, very intelligent. Uh, the models feel really good. Uh, I will say that I upgraded to um the $100 a month plan uh on Muse. Um that get I think it go you know I think it's there's a free plan $100 and maybe $200 a month. Um the difference I think is you get access to

23:30a better model. I think it's Muse Wonder full um instead of Spark and um you get more tokens. So if you actually are serious about doing like you start you start with the free one obviously and you start like earning clients, earning money and then as you know as you grow that's when you upgrade. But yeah around the um uh who's going to win this personal agent battle, I don't know, but I think uh Muse has a a very you know a very strong horse in the lead and I think with Facebook groups marketplace and Instagram they are are really good. So, thank you for listening. I hope this got

24:10your creative juices flowing. Um, you know, I'm happy you spent some time with me. I can't wait to see what you build, sell, grow, have fun. This is the greatest time in history to be building. It just fires me up. So, I had to come up here and and and say something. Um, I'll see you in the comment section. I read every single comment. Uh, and I'll

24:32see you next time. Later.
