0:00There's a new form of Facebook ad right now that is destroying CPAs. It is crushing all over the place and it's not something that I expected. These are spicy little dramatic episodes. This fruit is going to cheat on this other fruit. They're clubbing literally a bus his head. They're so good at drawing you in. It could be anime. It could be live action or a 90s sitcom. Now, I'm not talking about a new format that's going to die in 30 days. I'm actually talking about a major shift that we're seeing in Facebook ads and marketing across the board, which is ads are becoming content. Now, if your metrics have been

0:40getting crushed or you've been feeling like marketing just isn't working like it used to, then this video should answer that question for you. And this format is the exact format that massive e-com brands are using to crush online right now. You see, there's a quiet trend that's been taking over social media in the past couple years. It's something called short-form dramas. If you've ever heard of the company Drama Box, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. These are spicy little dramatic episodes usually involving affair or some kind of drama, but these types of little snippets of content are

1:19literally taking over on social media. So, how do we use this to our advantage as advertisers? Well, I made a full breakdown showing you how you can make these ads as well as I will give you a skill. So, in addition, I've spent many days going back and forth with Claude trying to make a skill to build this. So, if you're interested in getting that skill, make sure you watch to the end and I'll put the link in the video. And please, please, please, this is going to be like a 15-minute video. We're going to go deep on ads. We're going to go deep on the psychology. So, if you can't

1:55lock in for 15 minutes, bro. Your marketing is cooked, right? So, let's freaking lock in. Let's do this, okay? So, here's how emotional stories work in ads, right? So, step number one is we need to make a personal problem, right? There's a good reason that all of these short dramas start with the wife finding out about the husband cheating or something like that, right? Or we find out that, you know, this fruit is going to cheat on this other fruit. I don't know if you've seen those fruit cheating videos, but the reason they're taking over is because they hijack our psychology, right? And what we want to

2:32do is make the problem personal. So, the brand in mind here is an attic transformation brand, right? It's just a generic brand. They do attic remodeling, right? Now, if I were to make an ad for this brand, here's how I would make it. So, we would make the attic problem personal. So, we don't start out by talking about the attic, right? We're going to talk about the kids because the kids are what the parents care about, right? So, this kid, her sleep is

3:01affected, right? She's having problems. She can't fall asleep because she hears this noise at night. And then mom's complaining. You can see in the background that mom and dad are fighting, right? These are key details that we want to put into the story, okay? So, now we have our moment of action, right? We can see that the daughter and the mom are leaving together to go sleep at grandma's, right? Because they can't sleep. They, you know, hate being in this house and the dad is left feeling alone, feeling like, "Hey, I need to fix something, right?" If you're any normal human being, you're going to see this and be

3:37like, "Oh, you know?" Like, it's dramatic, right? And it's dramatic for a reason. So, now he goes upstairs and he sees that they're having a party. They're clubbing literally above his head. And, you know, we put in a funny line here, and it's kind of to be over the top, right? To show that, "Hey, there's these problems that maybe we should take care of them, and we're not taking care of them, right?" And now the character has to make an action, has to take the next step in order to solve their problem, right? So, we've shown the problem, we've twisted the knife, and now we're going to say, "Hey, call

4:16the Attic company, right?" But, we don't want to actually reveal what offer we have yet. So, every moment has to have a cause, right? Now, keep in mind here, we've already transitioned multiple time states. So, we went from night time to later in the night time to later in the night time to next day, right? And now this new day, this new scene, this is important because the new day speaks new opportunity, right? When you see the sunlight coming in after the darkness, it makes you feel like, "Oh, there's something new coming, right?" And this is something that's very important to storytelling that you don't necessarily

4:55do with these typical UGC talking head ads that we're all used to, right? And by the way, having lots of these establishing shots is actually so, so key to building this emotional storytelling. Because if we don't have this scene where we isolate the kid, we don't get to see it from her perspective. So, each background establishing shot actually helps us more and more. All right. So, now we're going into step four, which is let the offer

5:24solve the cause of the problem, right? So, in the beginning, we showed how the rats are the problem, right? Now, in step four, we're showing that, "Hey, this company called Attic Transformation is the savior, right? They're the hero kind of." So, they're coming to the rescue, right? So, they pull up to the house, they show the homeowner, "Hey, this is what's going on." They fix everything, and then he shows the work

5:50to the husband. Husband's happy, right? And then he texts his wife, "Hey, you can come home." Right? Now, that leaves us with the payoff at the end, step five. So, the same family, only this time they're completely changed, right? Now, they can actually feel the dream outcome. Because in a lot of these talking head ads, you can't really feel the dream outcome, right? You watch it, and then you're like, "Okay, well, they're telling me about that. Cool, but why do I care, right?" But this story gets you invested, right? If you write and tell a good story like this, animated stories even, I'm sure, you know, you've seen how people react when

6:29they watch, say, Up by Pixar, or really any Pixar movie to be honest. They're so good at drawing you in and giving you that emotional experience. All right? So, this is the payoff at the end here. So, this is the same family. So, now we can see that the girl, she's in bed, she's holding her little bunny, and she's happy, right? And that means the parents are happy, too. Now, throughout this whole story, you've seen that the highlight isn't actually the offer. It's just, "Hey, this is going to fix your problem." And it's all emotional throughout, right? These ads are completely dominating, right? After that, we have the final establishing

7:09shot, your CPL is going to drop like a rock, I promise you. And by the way, you can do this in any format you want. It can be anime, it can be live action. I've even made sort of a retro VHS version of this, or a '90s sitcom. You can really mix it up with the formats. Now, I know what you're thinking. Okay, Austin, this is going to take so much money. I don't have $30 to spend. Well, you're in luck, bro, cuz this only costs

7:35$2. This costs $2 to make this ad. Crazy, right? So, at the end here, we have the CTA, right? Just normal CTA. But that's about it. That at a glance is how these emotional stories and short-form drama ads are literally crushing online. I could show you a bunch of other examples of this, but I want to give you the skill first. So just click the link below. You might have to type in your email. Just get the skill. This skill is honestly saving me so much time. It's giving me the ability to ship ads to clients, just sell them, and it's honestly next level. I know I

8:08said this video is going to be 15 minutes. We ended up doing it in 10. Bit of a speed run here, but I hope you got value out of this video. Make sure you get the skill, and I'll see you in the next video.
