0:00I don't even need to go into Codeex or Claude anymore. I don't need to open half of the apps that I'm using because I can just pull all that stuff into Grockbot and just run all of it from here. As somebody who used to run a multi-million dollar marketing agency that did SEO, Grockbot can do a lot of what we used to charge for now. It went through 120 of my sent emails and figured out how to write [music] like me and created this skill. This bot is special because it actually has eight other bots that report to it. can do this research. I can write docs. I can

0:30[music] edit code. I get to spend more time talking to the students, talking with my colleagues, uh thinking, planning. The work that I delegate to Grockpot ends up being 90 95% done before I pick it up. Elon Musk said how I use Crockpot is cool. So, today I'm going to take you from absolute beginner to advanced power user doing most of your work inside this crazy new AI agent. So whether you've never used it before or whether you're already kind of deeply into it, uh there's gonna be something really great for you to learn today because uh I do probably 95% of my AI work in Grockbot now. I use it way

1:06more than Claude, Chad GPT, Gemini, anything else. It's my daily driver and I have to do a lot of stuff. [music] So I'm one of the co-founders of Founders School, which is an entrepreneurial focused high school. And I'm working on the software we're developing, the curriculum for the students to help them learn how to make a million dollars. Uh, I'm working on the hiring. I'm working on the growth. There's all kinds of things that I am using it for. So, basically, no matter what your job is, there's going to be something in here that is valuable to you. In fact, I love it so much that I got every Founder

1:35School student the $300 a month plan. And I'm teaching them all how to use it because I think it's essential to learn at any age at this point. So, let's dive in. Now, the first thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to go follow Founders School. Make sure that I'm subscribed so that I get new videos like this. We

1:49don't just talk about the school here. We also talk about how we use AI, how you can be more effective as an entrepreneur [music] at any age. By the way, I'm Nat. I'm one [clears throat] of the co-founders of Founder School, where we teach teens how to make a million dollars through entrepreneurship by graduation. First and foremost, what is Grockbot? Grockbot is a multi-purpose AI agent that can do almost anything on a computer that you can do. Uh, once you have it set up, your question before you do basically anything should be, could I just have Grockbot do this? When you get really advanced towards the end of this

2:18video, you'll be able to do a really big chunk of your computer work [music] simply by sending commands to your Grockbot, even from your phone while you're on the go. You can share templates of your bots with people to save them time setting them up themselves. So, if you want a copy of all of the bots that I use, make sure you comment bots and we'll get it sent to you. The first thing that we have to do, if you haven't already, is [music] download Grockbot. So, we're going to go to x.ai/bot or you can just search Grockbot and you'll land here. We'll download it for Mac OS [music] in this

2:47case and then we'll open it up on our computer. Now, obviously, I'm already using Rockbot, so my welcome message is a little bit different here than yours. But when you open it up, you should get something that says like, "Hey, nice to meet you. I'm bot. I'm here to take things off of your plate. What's

3:01something you'd love help with today?" And [music] when you start with bot, honestly, it's not terribly powerful. It's going to act like any other AI chat or AI agent. And so [music] what we have to do is one, learn how to use it, and then two, power it up so that it's as good as any employee with a computer. But let's just start with something super simple, which brings us to level one, right? Getting started with Grockbot, learning the core aspects of the tool that you need to know to [music] get the most value from it. Now, the really awesome thing about Grockbot is that it already has built-in

3:31connections to basically every single online or computer tool under the sun that you could conceivably use. And so the first thing that we want to do is get it connected to the things that you probably use the most. Uh your email and your calendar. Now you have two ways to connect more information to your Grockbot. One is you can say help me connect my email. And when [music] you do that, it'll just pop up a little card that shows you how to connect your email. Presumably Gmail, Outlook, any of the normal email software that you would use. Grockot makes it really, really easy to get it connected. [music] In my

4:04case, it's already done, so I don't have to do anything here. The cool thing about that is that as soon as it's connected, you can just ask it to look for things in your email. So, I could ask a question like, did that FEM invoice get paid? And then Grockbot can check my email, figure out whether something was done on one of those emails, and just tell me here. I don't have to go into my Gmail and check. And

4:26sure enough, it figured out the answer. Went through [music] my email, found the history, and gave me that so I don't have to go check myself. The more things that you connect, the more powerful it becomes. So, the second one that you're going to likely add [music] is your calendar, right? So, I'll say connect my calendar [music] next. Google calendar's already connected for me. It'll give you the same kind of popup, but once that's done, [music] you can do things like say what's coming up next. And you can even tell it to schedule events for you. So, I [music] can say grab time on me and

4:56Logan's calendar next week for another video, which will schedule time on my calendar based on when I'm available. and invite Logan to the event, too, so that we can keep making these videos for you all. Oh, and here's Logan. Hey. Okay, Logan, did you get the invite? I actually did. There it is. All right, cool. So, the more of these things that you connect to

5:14Grockbot, the more powerful it becomes. And if we pop open this connect apps button, you can see that there are I think it's thousands of options of things to connect. I've got a bunch already plugged in. But if you use Canva or one drive, if you use Outlook, Figma, uh whatever Mobin is, then you can just plug all of these things directly into Grockbot and it gets access to all of that information. But telling Grockbot everything that I wanted to do is, you know, it's the most basic version. Uh what makes it a lot more interesting is to try to make it be proactive. And so

5:47this is where the next thing that I want to cover comes in, which is routines. Grapot is really, really good at setting up routines to help stay on top of work for you and you don't have to do any crazy configuration for them. One of my favorite ones is a morning routine that I have set up where it goes through my email inbox, checks everything that uh came through overnight or from the evening and for anything that I haven't replied to yet, it drafts a response for me. So, here's how you can set the exact same thing up. I'll just say set up a routine to check my inbox every morning

6:19and draft replies. [music] And just with those instructions, it'll create a daily routine. Goes to the inbox, pulls whatever context it needs, and drafts the reply for me. It already says done. Every morning at 8:00 a.m., I'll go through, write replies to whatever needs to be written, [music] and save them as drafts in Gmail. And if I pop open on the side here and look at the details, you can see there is this routine [music] morning inbox drafts. And that's going to run every day. and then when I open up my email, I'll just have those drafts ready to go. And so any kind of work that you want done, this is a

6:49really, really powerful way to make sure it happens. Another common one that you might want to set up is meeting prep for the day. So, I don't know about you, I end up having a lot of meetings during my day and sometimes I run to them and I'm not I'm not even sure like why I'm

7:01supposed to be in this meeting, right? Embarrassing, but it happens. [music] So, having a meeting prep routine is super useful. So I can say, set up another routine in the morning to go through my calendar and make a prep dock for each meeting that you can send me a few minutes before it starts. And now what bot will do is it'll create that routine. It'll go through my Google calendar for the day because we just added that connector. it'll pull all the context it needs from my email and everything else I've connected on those meetings and put that doc together and send it to me so that I never show up to

7:36a meeting unprepared. Very, very powerful stuff. And then the last basic thing that I want to cover to make sure that uh if you do nothing else, you at least do these three things is skills. Because sometimes you have stuff that you regularly want your bot to do [music] or that uh you wanted to remember how to do in the future in case you needed to do it again. And that's where skills come in. skills are really really useful to codify how to do something so you never have to retrain it or retach it. And one of the best ones to set up first is a skill for

8:07writing like you. And doing it is really easy. You don't really have to do any kind of configuration. So what I'm going to say is create a skill to write like me for [music] emails and other places. Use my emails to train yourself. [music] And what it'll do is it'll just go through my emails, figure out the patterns for how I write, and then it'll create a skill that it can use whenever it's drafting emails for me or creating any other docs. This will take a minute or two because it's going to be pretty thorough. But once you have this done, all of the writing that bot produces for

8:41you in the future is going to be quite a bit better. And now it's done. It went through 120 of my sent emails and figured out how to write like me and created this skill. And I can look at the summary of the details here. And these are quite good, right? It fits pretty well with how I write. And if I click this open, I can see the whole skill. And if I want to make changes, I can do it right here. Right? Nat writes

9:04like he talks. Direct, warm, no padding. Length follows the content. Most of his emails are one to three sentences. [music] What matters is that every sentence of paragraph is concise. Right? These are really good core principles for it uh to write like me. And now whenever it's doing any email or or other kind of communication, it's going to use this skill uh to make sure that it sounds like me. And you can build these skills for basically everything

9:27that you want your bot to regularly do. If there's ever something that you do repeatedly, right, aside from some of the routines, then it's really useful to tell it to create a skill to make sure that it's always being done consistently in the future. Now, those are the most important basic things that I wanted to teach you. If you just use those three, connecting as many apps as possible, creating routines, and designing skills, you're going to get a ton more out of Grockbot than you get out of most AI tools. But we're really just getting started. So, let's start with delegation across multiple bots. Because right now,

9:58we just have our one. We just have newbot. And what we want to do is we want to start thinking about, okay, uh, how can I create multiple bots with very specific jobs? So, we'll go back and we'll click this little plus button. say new chat, create a new bot. And I'm going to call this bot productivity. And then I'm going to say instead of what do I want you to handle? I'm going to say I want you to stay on top of my productivity. And for this, I'm just going to say we're still in the demo video. So don't share any personal stuff. Now I've got a dedicated

10:35bot to help me with being more productive. And so anything related to task management, I'm going to do right here. And just from that prompt, it's already suggesting a couple of things, right? It's going to say, let's do a a morning and evening review or a morning plan. I can request one of these. And I'm going to pick morning and evening review. Now, the nice thing about this is that uh this bot is going to create these routines for a morning plan and an evening review to stay on top of everything. But for me, I don't love just keeping all of my uh tasks right in

11:09Grockbot. I kind of like having another tool for it. And and so this is where the connectors come back in. So for me, I like using to-d doist because it's really great at uh task management and at working with agents. And so what I can tell it is let's use to-d doist for all of our task management. And there's all kinds of task managers you can use. Feel free to connect whatever one you want. It's just nice to have some of the tasks uh logged externally so you can check in on

11:37them. For me, it's already connected. Doesn't need to do anything. But now, this bot is entirely in charge of staying up to date on all the tasks I need to get done, helping me put together a plan in the morning and reviewing it in the evening. And the reason that it's nice to have these separate bots is that when I come into this bot, I know it is about [music]

11:53what I need to get done for the day. That is all that we are talking about. And so if I wanted a another bot for something else, then I would just create a separate one. For example, I might want a bot specifically for this kind of content, for working with Logan on creating these videos for you. And so

12:09what I'll do is I'll create a new bot. I'll call it content demo. Since we're still in the demo, say, help me make a demo. Contentbot. Show how we work together. Well, actually, you would say something like, help me plan [music] out my content. This is still a demo. And now these bots can start to work together, right? And this is where the the collaboration becomes pretty [music] neat. Instead of having it start to create this content plan right now, uh what I'm going to do first is I'm going to say check in [music] with at productivity. And that lets it tag the other bot for [music] what we should do

12:47for content this week. It's going to ask the productivity bot uh if we have any tasks related to uh or if we have any tasks related to content we need to produce and then it'll work with me to plan out that content. But this way I know that when I'm talking to the content bot, we're focused on content. When I'm talking productivity bot, we're focused on productivity. It's also very helpful for the bots themselves because sometimes if uh if an AI agent is managing too many tasks, it gets confused and there's overlap and the results start to get worse. And so by creating dedicated ones for each thing

13:20that you want to handle, they actually get more powerful. And I have them hidden right now, but you can see on the sidebar here, you can very quickly jump around between that first new bot we created, that first productivity bot that we started working on, and now you can see the productivity bot, and the content bot are starting to talk to each other. And sure enough, these are all really good ideas for [music] content based on stuff that is in my to-doist, right? you're starting to see how the bots can work together along with the connectors to make your life a lot easier. The next more advanced technique

13:52that I want to talk about is special APIs to give your bots abilities beyond just accessing your data. Because so far the connectors that we focused on are letting your bot plug into your email, your calendar, your to-do list, your notion, your Slack, all the things that you use for for information management. But we can take it a step further and we can give your bots the ability to do full jobs. So now I'm going to move away from the demo bots that I've been creating and show you some of the ones that I actually use. Now normally uh what I do is I have each of these pinned

14:25[music] at the top because these are the most important most important bots for me to work with. my chief of staff, my head of engineering, my growth bot, my curriculum bot, my guide for working with the students, my hiring bot, and my content bot. These are the seven that I live in on a daily basis. And the growth bot has some really cool superpowers attached to it. So when I started thinking through this video, one of the first things that I did is I went to my growthbot and I [music] said find viral videos about Grockbot that we can learn from for our own Grockbot video. It used

15:05a tool called Virllo where it has an API that allows it to search through viral videos across Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube way better than Grockbot can out of the box. By using that tool, it was able to find some videos that had done very, very well and drop them in here. The cool thing about that is that it could then take the patterns that worked

15:26from those videos and name them, right? Introduce each bot by name and job. Huh, that thing that I just did. Uh, put a number in the title. Okay, so that's a good note for you, Logan. We want a number in the title. Uh, something for some reason for people to comment. and then talking about some of the some of the uh material that's working in them uh as well and that how we could adapt how we're using it based on what we're seeing that's working. Now, this is really cool data that probably would have taken us what do you think Logan like 5 10 15 minutes to go do manually

15:56easily. Yeah. And it just did it instantly. Now, again, leaning on the collaboration that I just showed you, it then took all of those notes and sent them to the chief of staff bot, which was working on the initial outline and script for this video. So, it used this additional ability that I had given it to do deeper research on viral videos on Tik Tok, Instagram, things like that. It then used that to inform the script and allowed us to create a better video for you. So, there are all kinds of cool APIs that you can connect your bots to to give them the ability to uh do

16:32research or or do work that they wouldn't otherwise be able to do. Another really powerful one that I've given it access to is data for SEO. And so, if you do any kind of marketing, this is a really neat tool that allows you to have a direct API for any SEO [snorts] and GEO or AEO work. So, if you're trying to get your site ranked higher on Google or higher in chat GPT

16:52results, uh this tool helps you do it. Uh but instead of like going to a dashboard and seeing the results, I can just ping my growthbot and I can say uh what are the top keywords that Founders School [music] is ranking on right now and it can just pull the research from the SEO tool and tell me. I don't need to go to an SEO tool. I don't need to pay for some other dashboard. It can just immediately pull it because it has access to this ability. So, going back to that question earlier in the video of every time you start to do something at your computer, you should ask yourself,

17:25could Grockbot do this? [music] If your initial answer is, oh no, it can't do it, the blocker might be that you haven't given it access to the right API or the right tool. [music] And so, before you think that it can't do something, you should say, well, maybe there is a data stream out there that I could give Grockbot access to so that it can do this job. because as somebody who used to run a multi-million dollar uh marketing agency that did SEO, Grockbot can do a lot of what we used to charge for now. And that's kind of crazy. And sure enough, there we go. Uh

17:55we've got our Google results. I didn't have to go use any other tool. Grockbot was just able to pull the information for me. Now, we're definitely getting into that power user territory here. That kind of like level three, oh, you can do almost anything in Grockbot now. And the next thing that I want to show you related to that is that you don't need to feel constrained by only having access to Grock's models because there's actually a whole coding environment that Grock can tap into to build anything that you need or to deploy even more powerful AI models to get work done. And the most obvious where way that you see

18:25this is with coding. So if we go into my engineering head, this is the bot that runs all of my engineering work at founder school. And this bot is special because it actually has eight other bots that report to it. One for the founder school site, one for our co-founder app, uh our marketing terminal, our guide app, our follower app, our expertise app. And so each one of those bots is owning a single product and they all report back to the engineering head. So if I want to kick off work to any of them, I can use the engineering head as the single locus of communication. it

18:57can send those commands to one of those bots and then they can use one of these more powerful models to get the coding work done. So, for example, uh I figured out a way to get pretty good Tik Tok analytics uh from accounts, which was hard to do before for some of our students. And so, I want to build a way to track [music] uh Instagram and Tik Tok results in our tool for helping students learn how to build their followers. So, I'm going to go to my engineering head and I'm going to say, [music] tell followers to build a way to track students Instagram and Tik Tok results using the

19:34same API we used [music] in the growth dashboard. Use Opus 5.5. And now, two things are going to happen. It's going to interpret this and it's going to get the necessary information from the other bot, assuming it doesn't already have it already. [music] It's then going to message the followers app bot which is then going to delegate the work to a cursor cloud agent. So I can go to my followers app bot. It's going to say starting on Instagram and Tik Tok tracking for followers. It's going to check with linear because I have everything tracked in linear for all the programming work to make sure that me

20:09and the other engineers at Ver School don't step on each other's toes. And then it says that the build is underway on a clawed opus 5.5 cloud agent. And while the followers app gets that started, I want to show you this too, which is that you don't just have to use that for coding. For example, Opus is

20:23usually a better writer than Grock is. So I can also say something like, can you use a cloud agent to draft [music] a blog post based on the Grockbot outline we made in Notion? And I'll say use Opus 5.5. And so now what it's going to do is it's going to go into my notion. It's going to get the outline for this video that I created and then it's going to take that and kick off a cloud agent using Opus 5.5 to write a draft of a

20:54blog post which it will then show to me. And actually once it does that I can just tell it, okay, go publish it on the blog. I don't really have to like go anywhere or do anything because again I've connected it to everything. And if you ever want to see what these cloud agents are doing, all you have to do is go to cursor, your cursor dashboard, cursor.com/dashboard, go to this cloud agents tab, and then once it kicks off the cloud agent, I can just click on this. It'll show it to me in cursor, and I can see what it's

21:22doing. Now, this is really cool, right? Uh, it's using Opus 5.5 like I specified because it's a better writer. It gave it the outline for this video, the research on this video about some of the other videos on this topic that have gone viral, and it gave it the write like NAT instructions. I didn't even tell it to do that. It just knew that it was important to give this agent those instructions to make sure it sounded like me. And now it's going to write this blog post and then report it back to me. And it's going to do a better job than Grockbot would out of the box

21:55because it's using Claude, which is a better writer. So, at this point, you can kind of understand, oh yeah, I don't even need to go into codeex or claude anymore. I don't need to open half of the apps that I'm using because I can just pull all that stuff into Grockbot and just run all of it from here as if it's just one conversation with a co-orker. Which brings us to the last couple steps here uh of getting the most out of Grockbot, which is that transition from doing most of your work outside of it to doing more and more of your work inside. And I mean, one thing

22:24that I can't believe I haven't talked about yet, but that is extremely helpful for doing this is the Grockbot mobile app. Because if you download the Grockbot app, you can do everything I'm doing on the computer directly from your phone. And it has access to all the same tools, uh, all the same AI models, all the same connections. And so if I'm sitting on the subway or [music] waiting at a red light, not in my car, but walking around New York City, uh, I can just kick off work with my Grockpot. It can get all this stuff done. It can do this research. It can write docs. It can

22:53edit code. Uh, it can handle all of that uh from my phone and then those conversations just pick up when I get back to my computer. The other really big thing that you can do from Grockbot that might not be uh super obvious is you don't have to keep doing the annoying like copy and paste back and forth stuff that uh you often have to do with AI because it's connected to [music] everything. So what I'll often do is let's take this growth research that I did earlier around uh the keywords for founder school, right? Uh I can just reply to this. So I'll click this reply button and I'll say send this

23:29in the growth channel in [music] Slack. And since it's connected to my Slack, it will just take all that research and send it in the growth channel so that everybody else like Logan uh can see that information in case they want to use it for anything. Sure enough, this card pops up and it says, you know, do you want to send this? I [music] can actually edit this right here. And so I can tweak it before it gets sent if I want to do that. And then if I click send message, that's going to just appear in our Slack. You can do the same thing for your email. So I [music] can

23:59say uh also send that as an email to Logan. And it's going to pop up a really similar card. It's going to use my Gmail connection uh to send that email. it already knows who Logan is. And if it didn't, it would just find his [music] email address in my email. I don't have to say send it to Logan. Sure enough, here's the email draft. Once again, I can just edit it right here and then click send. And as soon as I click send, it's going to process it um in the background and send it off to Logan. And if we give it a sec, Logan, did you get

24:30the email? Yes. Looking at it right now, we rank [music] I don't know if you There you go. [laughter] You got it. It's there. And so this is what I mean about how if you get really deeply embedded in this tool, you can increasingly do more and more of your work within it and don't need to keep jumping around between so many different places and doing as much manually on the computer yourself. So what's left for

24:52us? Well, making videos about Crockpot. Uh but aside from that, I I feel like what this really enables for me is that I get to spend more time talking to the students, talking with my colleagues, uh thinking, planning, and not spending as much time typing at the computer, putting in information, pulling up information because I have all of that stuff at my fingertips. And the work that I delegate to Grockbot ends up

25:14being 90 95% done before I pick it up. And so it's actually really freeing because it means I get to do more of the stuff that I really enjoy and don't need to do as much manual work on the computer as I might have before. So if you haven't checked out Grockbot, definitely go uh give it a try. Apply some of the stuff in this video. Oh, and the feature I almost forgot about is that you can share templates of your bots with people to save them time setting them up themselves. So if you want a copy of all of the bots that I use, make sure you comment bots and

25:43we'll get it sent to you. And if you don't want a copy of them, leave a comment on what we should talk about next. Because at Founders School, we are the AI native high school for entrepreneurs. This is what we work on and do all day. And we are just so embedded in the space and so excited to share uh some of the things that we are learning and doing with all of you. So, hit subscribe to make sure you get the next video. Give it a like to help other people find it. And we'll see you next
