0:00Breaking news, guys. Grockbot has just gotten the biggest upgrade it's ever had. You can see here Elon Musk mentioning this on X the other day where he's saying SpaceX will use the best back-end model for any given task including Claude Opus, Midjourney, Suno, and other leading APIs. And so, whatever is going to achieve the best outcome for users, that is the model that Grockbot is going to use. And so in this video, I'm going to be running you through a bunch of different tasks and give you an over-the-shoulder walkthrough of me setting up Grothbot and running all these tasks for you so you can see how
0:34it works and which models Grockbot chooses based on what prompt we give it. So essentially, this is going to be how it works. It's one bot and many models. And so think about it like how Curser runs, which surprisingly they have purchased Cursor. And so you can see that they're basically following a similar model where cursor chooses the best model based on the task that you give it. And Grockbot will do exactly the same now. So for hard jobs, it'll pick opus 5.5. For smaller jobs, it'll run Grock, which is way cheaper and faster. For images, it'll run midjourney. And even for music, it'll runo. And now, if you haven't used
1:13Grockbot, this is what it looks like. So stick with me. I'm going to show you how to set up Grockbot. And I'm going to use a bunch of different prompts to see which model it chooses and how it maybe compares to some of the other models or some of the other tools that you are using in your toolkit. So maybe you're an idiot like I am, but I didn't know that Grockbot is run by SpaceX. And so I thought it was just a bot that lives within Twitter, but you have to actually go to x.ai/bot and then you download Grockbot. So let me show you what that looks like. I've
1:47already done this here. You meet Grockbot and you download for MacOSS. And so the idea is that Grockbot is supposed to be your employee inside of your team and you message it just like you would message teammates and you build multiple bots for each individual job and then you can just ping them from your phone and it does everything that you need. And now I've signed up to the $30 a month plan and I'm going to show you what that looks like. So they have a couple of different plans. They've got $20 a month, which if you're using Cursor, you should be able to port that
2:20through and use Grockbot. Then they've got Super Grock, which is through XAI. And then they've got $300 a month, um 60, 100, 200, 300. So, it's a little bit confusing because they are they have purchased cursor and there's some integration here. But anyway, we are early to this and it's pretty spectacular. So, you pick a plan, you download, you sign in, you create a bot, you log in once, and then you give it a
2:44job, and then you teach it a routine. So, I'm going to show you what that looks like now. And we're going to run five tests. So, we're going to give it a hard job and then see which model it picks. We're going to ask it to search Twitter or X and ask it to research uh Twitter, which is super powerful because it blocks all the other AIs. So, if I can use Grockbot to do research, this is a game changer. Then we're going to give it a image and see how it looks when it runs it through midjourney or what it actually does. Then we're going to give
3:11it a task of making music. And then we're going to ask it to learn a specific routine. Okay. So test number one. Elon said the best backend model for any given task including Claude Opus 5.5. So let's take this task where I want it to ask a percentage and then build a tip calculator as a one web page and then send me a file and after each job tell me which model it did and why it picked that one. So we're going to see if it actually picks opus 5.5. So here we are inside of Grockbot. Now I have not used this at all. This is my
3:45very very first impression. So I'm going to call it Grockbot and you can just kind of see exactly in real time what it feeds back to me. And then we're going to give it the prompt that I just copied uh about setting up this tip calculator and see what it does. So, it's setting up everything. Uh I connect apps like email, calendar, etc. Connect your email and find something I can take care of straight away. So, I'm just going to
4:08pause the video and do this real quick. Boom. We're all connected. All right. So, I'm going to paste in this prompt here. Two jobs. Job one, job two. Ask after each job, tell me which model you picked and why. So, we're going to I wonder if we can zoom in here. Yes, we can. So 18% of 2,400 is 441. Now that's not very difficult. I did it myself as Grockbot. I can't tell you which model runs underneath me or why it gets used, but I'll be clear about what I did for each job. Starting the tip calculator now. Okay. So this is the tip calculator that it's built. So let's say my bill is
4:43$100 and I want to bill I want to tip 18%. And there are two of us. Okay. Um, decent. Um, I built this on Grockbot 2. I can't tell you which model did it either. Can you use Opus 5.5 to build it for me and make the design nicer? So, let's see what it does when I
5:09actually tell it to use the model. Okay. So, I I'm doing some research and you cannot pick the model. It automatically picks, right? So, even though I asked it to do Opus 5.5, it won't do that for me. it'll automatically pick the best one. So, I guess that makes sense. They're creating it so that consumers can use it and it's just easy and quick and effective and efficient. Now, I asked it to design it nicer and this is the
5:34this is the garbage that it did for me. Like, let me take this into into Claude and actually see what this looks like. All right, so we have Claude loaded up. We've got 5.5 loaded up. We've got all of our beautiful mods on the side here. Uh, and I've asked it to do the same job just kind of see how it looks compared side by side with what Grockbot did because surely it didn't use Opus 5.5. I have another prompt I'm going to use to almost ensure that it uses 5.5 so you can actually see what it looks like. All right, in 38 seconds it is done. So this
6:10is the Okay, it's given us the same result, thank goodness. And then it's created the tip calculator here. Okay. And so I have opened it up inside the browser here and it looks pretty similar. The good news is this has a dollar amount which is cool. Now split between O. That doesn't work. These buttons don't
6:33work which I'm concerned about there. Damn. Then that reset button doesn't work either. So Claude Opus 5.5 letting me down a little bit. Some of the buttons don't work and the design is really ugly. Can you make it look more modern and in increase the appeal of the UI? So we'll give it some more feedback and then we'll come back and see what it looks like. All right. So our update is done here. We should be able to open
7:05this. And this is the new tip calculator. So, let's type in the bill is $100. We want to add 15% and start it. Run it between two people. I mean, fairly disappointing. It looks pretty cool, but it doesn't work, which is insanity. So, let's take a screenshot of this and feed it to Grock and ask if it can make a working version. Can you design the
7:36tip calculator to look more like this? Make sure all the buttons are working. QA it and make sure everything works end to end and then open it for me in the chat here. So, we're going to give Grock that task and see what it comes back with. All right, so this is what Grockbot has come back with. Let's open this up and see what it looks like. This is the tip calculator according to Grockbot. We have $100, uh, 15%, two people, way better. This actually works. Um, and then I can download the source file and I can start over. I can do $300. And so adding an
8:16additional a custom tip, let's say 67% and split that across three people. Okay, so pretty cool. It actually works. So so far Grockot Grockbot is actually winning uh compared to Claude. So even if it's using Claude under the hood, it's better than Claude, it seems. And so there's no indication if it's used Claude or not, and it won't seem to tell me. But let's move on to a more complex task. I'm going to feed it and see if it uses Claude. Right. So back in here we have build me a sales pipeline app as a one web page. This is a hard job. So plan it first. Show me the plan. It
8:52needs deals as cards that I can drag between five stages. So sort of like a ClickUp. Uh then write 25 tests, run them and fix what fails, review your own work, fix the three weakest parts, and send me the file. Boom. So if this doesn't use Claude Opus 5.5, I don't know what will. Okay, so Grockbot has come back and it has completed a bunch of tasks. You can see here it is created some pretty sexy looking images. Now just as a side note, you can come up here and you can start a chat with Grockbot. So you can run multiple different instances. Now it's not going
9:26to be as powerful. This is going to be the main chat like the uh what do they call it? The mega chat or something. I heard somebody reference it earlier, but you can create multiple different instances of Grockbot and you can run multiple things in the background. So that's pretty cool. I'll show you what these all look like in the main chat in just a second. So let's open up the sales pipeline here and the moment of truth. Let's see if any of this stuff
9:49actually works. So we drag stuff across. Everything looks like it's working. Um I wonder this is pretty cool. So, we'll change the value here. We'll save that. So, it doesn't seem to want to save, which I guess is a bug. Uh, we move things across and we've got it's Yeah, it looks pretty cool. So, we add a deal. We add a bunch of stuff here. Notes value like this. Owner
10:21Marosi. Unfortunately, the add button deal does not work, but pretty cool nonetheless. And so this would have likely been built inside of five opus 5.5. All right. So that was test numero uno. But now let's take test number two. So it's copy the prompt and go back to Grockbot. And now instead of me opening a new chat, I'm just going to paste this in here. This one is going to search X for what people have said about Grockpot using Claude Opus 5.5 and give me five posts with the most views, who posted it, what they
10:56said. And so you can see here it's done that already. It's even pulled in some stuff that's in Chinese, uh, which is interesting. So let's see. So this is interesting. This has pulled in Mike P from the 3rd of October. Now Elon just announced this, I believe, on the 7th. And so I don't think it's something that really is relevant because it's game
11:21building workflow. Claude Grock build. So there's no reference to Grockbot using Opus. So I wouldn't consider this a win. And also it's only got 5,000 views. And again, if I come here, I ask give me five posts with the most views who posted it about Grockbot using Opus 5.5. So, so far so far this is really poor. All right, we might have something here because at least this was posted um and it it quote a quote tweeted with Elon Musk's uh post here about this actual announcement. 5 hours ago, Musk said that Grockbot backend will start selecting models based on tasks specifically naming Claude Opus Medjurn
12:10and Suno. So, why did he suddenly post this now? Because somebody said that Grockbot will soon be able to use Opus. I gave Grockbot a try. It doesn't have it yet for the time being, but it probably is coming soon. Folks who accounts got banned for trying to use Opus might want to consider giving Bo Grockbot a shot. Now, I find it hard to believe that given this got 2,000 views and five likes, this is one of the top five posts. So, I would say that it's not done a very good job. and let's test out the image generation. So, we'll copy the prompt and hop into Crockbot and see
12:46what it does. All right, so here we are. We paste that in and press enter. Okay, so here is the cute little robot um in the background. That was very, very quick to create and it looks pretty decent. Now, it doesn't tell me. It says I made using my own image tool, but I can't tell you which image model is behind it. Would you like a fresh version in a different style? Yes, give it to me in a pixel art cyberpunk style, which if you know anything about me is my favorite style of art. Okay. And after a couple seconds, this is what it creates. And I mean, this is pretty
13:21dope. I'm not going to lie. Like, you know, I have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars to artists in the past to create this and waited weeks on end. The fact that you can create this now in a couple seconds is just mind-blowing to me. Um, all right. So, that is the image test. Let's go on to the next test. So,
13:37if you remember, it was the music test. Now, I'm not very confident in this, but apparently it's going to be using Sunno in the background. So, we'll open up the main chat and we'll paste in this prompt and then we will see what it gives us. Make a 10second intro jingle upbeat electronic no words. Send me the audio file. Tell me which model. So, we've got intro jingle. A 10-second upbeat electronic intro jingle. No AI model made it. I don't have a music generator, so I wrote a short program that built it note by note with a kick drum. So, it's interesting that it's saying this. It
14:11would appear that Sunno maybe isn't already loaded into the back end, which is weird. Um, but nevertheless, this is what it sounds like.
14:32Okay. So very weird and electronic, very uh like 2001 Sony Ericson cell phone jingle. Um it would appear that Sunno maybe is not loaded in here which is why we're getting some some of these like average results. This doesn't look like it's done been done by Mid Journey and this maybe has not been done by Opus if that's the case. All right, so last one here. We're going to copy this prompt. I want it to set up a routine for me. Running a morning check and check it every weekday at 8 a.m. So, let's hop into Grockbot and give it this task. Right. So, here we are. Paste that
15:13in. And let's see what it comes back with now. So, it's asking me for some clarity here. So, I want you to check my emails every morning and surface anything that is an important email that I need to respond to and give it to me in a summarized report with inside of Grockbot. Uh, so that I can see a summary of all the emails and I can reply from within the chat. Okay, so it
15:36seems like it's created a routine here. You can see morning check. It's done all of that. Uh yes, create a very interesting, beautifully designed report for me every morning and add it to the routine. All right, so this is what Grockbot came back to me with and this is how it's going to be presented to me every day. You can see here that u it's going to categorize things and then everything else I need to address is here and then the things that need my reply urgently, how many emails I got, which ones are urgent, which ones need my reply. So
16:11pretty cool. So there are a couple of things worth mentioning. It appears that the post that Elon posted said going forward. Now there is no specific date. He just he just said going forward. Uh and this was a couple days ago and it seems as though he hasn't implemented it all or maybe all the models aren't loaded in. And when you ask which model it's using, it won't tell you. So that is still uncertain. Elon Musk here says that Grockbot will use whatever achieves the best outcomes for users. And so simple questions will route to small fast models. Questions with complex answers will route to large models. And so it
16:51doesn't currently say which model does the job and it won't let you pick. Thirdly, it doesn't say what Opus does to the usage because Opus costs significantly more. And then there are people who are saying they want to opt out of this because they don't want their data to be fed to Anthropic and they don't want their data fed to other models and that's why they chose Grock in the first place. So there's still things that are up in the air. That was just kind of my first overview of using Grockbot and seeing if these models are running under the hood. It would appear that we aren't 100% sure. They may be,
17:26but it appears that a lot of them are not. So hopefully you enjoy this video. If you want to see more content of me testing out all these AI tools and you want to actually see me dive into it when Elon announces that it's now live, then make sure you subscribe.
