This is the full transcript of 8 Insane ChatGPT Browser Use Cases (automate anything), published on YouTube by 9x. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.

0:00In this video, I'm going to walk you through eight of the best use cases for the Chat GPT browser. It's a browser built directly into Chat GPT work, and it's recently had a bunch of updates which make it way more powerful. Each one of these use cases are already saving me hours every single week, and

0:14they're going to do the same for you. So, we're going to break them down and look at everything from getting Chat GPT to be your real-time assistant in pretty much everything you do to redesigning your website just by telling it what you want to change all the way to auditing a competitor's entire funnel. This is honestly one of the simplest tools to master in Chat GPT, and it requires hardly any setup. Just give me about 20 minutes, and I promise you you'll be flying by the end of it. Let's jump straight in, starting with use case number one. And this first one sounds almost too obvious when I show it to

0:43you, but it's one that most people are completely missing. And a quick shout-out to Benny on Twitter who actually got me onto this. It's about turning Chat GPT into your personal assistant wherever you browse. And basically, the simple way to do that is just to start by using this inbuilt browser in the Chat GPT desktop app as your everyday browser instead of using Chrome or Safari or whatever you are using. So, you're still working in the same tools, whether that's Google Docs or Figma or Notion. Except now when you're working in the browser, if you find yourself having to do a repetitive task where normally you would go and

1:15stop, copy everything over into Chat GPT, explain what you're looking at, you are already there, and you can just immediately ask Chat GPT for help. Let me give you an example. Here, I'm working on a workshop plan in Google Docs, and together with the team, we've had some comments about like to be improved in the plan. Now, instead of going over to Chat GPT, I am already here. So, I can simply at the bottom ask it to edit this Google Doc and process all the comments and create the new version. I'll send this one off, and now we can actually minimize this right-hand side panel, so we see the chat view. You

1:46can always toggle between the chat and the browser. You can have the browser in full screen if you like when you're actually working on that tool. Otherwise, we just make it shorter, and then we have our chat GPT assistant right here. And we can see just like that in a less than a couple of minutes it was able to process all of the comments, update the

2:05Google Doc, and mark them as resolved. Now, here's where things get really interesting. One of the websites that I use a lot is Claude. So, now I can actually get chat GPT to take an idea to Claude, get challenged, and bring me back a better version. Sort of using Claude as a sparring partner. So, to do this yourself in a new chat, I'm just going to ask it open up Claude .ai in your and then type the @ symbol to use the browser plugin. So, you can see control the in-app browser. This is the inbuilt browser in chat GPT work in the desktop app. And then I'll just give it

2:39some instructions. So, here together with Claude research, what are the best ways to use the new chat GPT inbuilt browser and how the chat GPT browser works. Have a decent session back and forth with Claude until you agree on the 10 best use cases for this feature. And this is something that I actually did for the research in this video. So, we can see now I'll open up Claude in the browser and now it's opened up its browser on the right-hand side here. You can see it's opened up Claude. This is my mouse here. You can see that blue highlighted mouse. This is chat GPT's mouse. So, now in a second it's going to

3:12send off its prompt to Claude. And you can see just how quickly it's dropped its prompt in. It wants a research discussion on the 10 best practical use cases. It even gave Claude the links to the documentation of chat GPT's own feature. And now Claude is already getting to work. And I can make this one a little bit bigger. Claude is now writing out its response of its first 10 use cases that it recommends. And we can see here on the left-hand side chat GPT processing this saying Claude's first list is heavily weighted towards website testing. So, now if I scroll down I can see here chat GPT is giving Claude its

3:48round two what it doesn't like about Claude's list. And they're just basically going to go back and forth and get a much better result than if you just asked either of them on their own. Now, for our next use case, have you ever found exactly the information you need on a website, but no way to download it? I'm going to show you how to get ChatGPT to pull it into a spreadsheet without you copying and pasting a single row. And so, use case number two, turning any website into a spreadsheet. Now, for this example, I'm in Google Maps, and what I actually want to find is all the restaurants near me

4:18that are of a certain quality and that give me the ability to book a table directly. So, I want to have ChatGPT find all the right restaurants, export them, and then put them into one spreadsheet for me. So, let me just minimize this browser here. I've already prepared the following prompt. I might actually close this altogether. So, I'm going to tell ChatGPT work here in the desktop app, using Google Maps, can you please find as many restaurants near me in my area here in Berlin, which give me

4:44the ability to book the table directly. You can see here I've attached a screenshot, so it knows exactly what I'm talking about. Um, return the list with the restaurant name, rating, and a book a table link. I've also given it the starting link where it should search for. And now, I'm giving it some very specific criteria, which would take me a lot more time to do on my own. I want to make sure that all restaurants have at least four and a half stars and more than 50 reviews, or they can have more than four stars if they have more than

5:141,000 reviews. And that is my criteria. So, let's send this one off to ChatGPT. So, we can see now ChatGPT is going into Google Maps, has opened it up, and is looking at all the restaurants in my area. And we can see now ChatGPT is finished with its task. It worked for a little over 6 minutes, and now I have this list here of 32 restaurants, all in a nicely formatted table. So, I've got the restaurant, the address, the what their star rating is on Google, how many reviews, and more importantly, the link where I can directly book a table. And then, I went ahead and saved all of that

5:48information here in a spreadsheet with the name of the restaurant, the address, the rating, the number of reviews, and that booking link all here in one spreadsheet. You can see all of that data saved. Now, make sure to stick around because in the last use case, I'll show you how I put all of this

6:03scraped data from Google Maps to use. But, quick one before the next use case, everything we make on Chat GPT lives in one playlist, and the link is in the description. We're working our way towards the most complete Chat GPT library for professionals on YouTube. Next up is a full Chat GPT work course, beginner to expert in a few hours for

6:21free right here on this channel. Subscribe so you don't miss it. But, for now, let's get on to the next use case. Now, this next use case is going to be for anyone who's regularly onboarding new customers, especially for SaaS products or anyone who's training internal teams or just anyone who needs to write documentation in general. And that's using the Chat GPT browser to create detailed how-to guides including all the necessary screenshots. And this is actually a task that I've been meaning to do for a while because one of the most viewed videos on the 9 X YouTube channel is this one right here where I showed a very short tutorial

6:54about how to create your OpenAI API key. And now, what I want to have on our website is an accompanying blog article to actually boost um performance. So, I've got this detailed prompt here asking Chat GPT work to create a public-facing beginner-friendly blog article explaining how to create an OpenAI API key. I'm telling it to start

7:13on the OpenAI dashboard in its browser. And now, I'm giving it all the details about the writing style. More importantly, I'm telling it along the way that it should capture all the meaningful screenshots and actually annotate these so that the viewer basically knows exactly what they need to do. And at the end, save the blog article for me to review in Notion. So,

7:32let's send this one off. And now, we can see that it's opened up its browser. What I'm actually going to do because I want it to create screenshots, this is what I recommend if you are doing this. I'm going to open this one up in full screen. And now here we are in the Chat GPT dashboard. I'm already logged in here, and if it wasn't, it would basically just ask me to log in. And now it's going to actually take over, figure out all the steps about how to create an API key, but more importantly, document everything along the way. All right, now jumping ahead, you can see this one

8:02worked for just over 3 minutes. Now we have our Notion page, which it already jumped open here, how to create your OpenAI API key. And this is optimized, and we can see here all of those screenshots already in our Notion with these annotations. So here it's saying that you should select your project, then click on API keys, then go ahead and create a new secret key. So it did all of the steps, documented everything, saves the screenshots here with a lot more detail than if you are actually doing this yourself manually. So as I said, if you constantly get the question from your customers, "How do I reset my

8:38password? Where do I find my invoices?" Or for instance, if you're also doing a lot of educational content like we are, and you need to create these articles, a big pain is that these dashboards, these UIs that companies that software is using are constantly changing. So you could even have this on a schedule and get it to actually do the task for your main blog articles, let's say, once every 3 months, so that when the interface changes, your article always reflects the latest version. Now importantly, if you ever find yourself having a task that you're doing in this Chat GPT browser, and you are doing it

9:12more than once, whether that's every single week or even a few times a week, you don't want to have to explain yourself to Chat GPT every single time. So now I'm going to show you how to save the process, so the next time the job comes around, you can kick it off with a single instruction. So for our next use case, use case number four, turn any browser job into a skill. And so let me show you how to do this in Chat GPT work. I'm actually going to do this for a use case that I need to do for my personal admin, and that's always going

9:40and downloading my phone bill every single month so that we can log it as a business expense. So, here on this plus symbol, what I'm going to look for is here this record a skill. And so, what this enables me to do, it's actually going to record my workflow looking at my screen, and then turn that into a reusable skill. So, I'm going to send

9:58this one off. And now we just need to wait for Chat GPT to tell us that it's ready to record our skill, and you can see here it's asking for permission. Allow Chat GPT to record actions on your Mac. I'm going to say allow once. And now it says, "Great, recording is running. Demonstrate your workflow. Tell me when you're done. The recording limit is 30 minutes." So, what I'm going to do now is simply open up the browser panel here, head over to my provider where I have my phone bill, which is a German provider here in this case, Premium SIM. I need to go ahead

10:27and log in. I'm actually going to make this one full screen. And now a really brilliant thing that was recently added to the Chat GPT browsers now that it also supports Chrome extensions. So, if you're like me using an inbuilt password manager, you can basically add that here as a Chrome extension, and then in one click log in to all of your apps. And now I'm based here in Berlin, Germany, so obviously all of this is in German, but that shouldn't be a problem. What I simply want to do is scroll down, and

10:54here is the German word for invoices. So, I'm going to click on that one. I will find my latest invoice and download it. Even make sure to click the download button, and then save it to my downloads, and the download is complete. So, now I can basically close this browser, and now all I need to do is basically let it know that I am done. I'm just going to say, "Done." Now, of course here I could give even more detail, but I just want to show you how good this skill recorder or skill um creator is. Let me minimize my invoice here. And when I say give

11:29more detail, I could basically tell it done. I just went ahead and downloaded my latest invoices, all that sort of thing, especially if you're using voice annotation a lot, feel free to give some more context here. But, you can see here it's identified it straight away. The recording shows you signing into Premium Sim, opening the newest invoice, and saving the PDF to downloads. And, we can see just 1 minute later it's finished creating that skill. So, now we have this inbuilt skill here in the ChatGPT desktop app, download Premium Sim. And, you can test this out. If I now type the forward slash and start typing download,

11:58you can see here download Premium Sim invoice. It says it's going to get the latest invoice, save it as a PDF. It defaults to the latest available, but I could also call this skill and in the prompt say, "Grab my last four invoices. Grab my last five invoices." Whatever I want it to be. But, more importantly, now that we have this skill, we could also set this to run on a schedule. So, let's say the first day of every single month we go and grab the invoice from the previous month. Just a quick thing before the next use case, every single prompt and skill that I'm sharing in

12:28this video is shared and available for free in the 9x community. The link's in the description below, so you can go ahead and grab that and add it straight into your own ChatGPT today. Right, onto the next use case. Now, everything we've seen so far has been about getting ChatGPT through its browser to pull information or automate tasks on other website, but this built-in browser is also incredibly powerful when it comes to maintaining and updating your own website. So, onto use case number five,

12:56redesigning your website in real time. Now, for our very own 9x website, we use a website building tool called Framer, which has a great connection to ChatGPT using their Framer external agent. So, what I've basically asked it here is just to create a new branch that I can work on, and then open up the preview. So, this is the staging link here in the browser. Now, this browser comes with a very, very useful tool. If we look under here, this little plus button, it allows us to annotate the page. So, what I'm able to do is click this one, and I can simply go and you can see as I hover, I

13:28can select any of the different elements. These basically auto detect. So, let's say here right now we have two different CTAs above the fold, one for our B2B clients where they can book a call to discuss company training for their team or if it's just an individual they can join the community directly. But, I want to differentiate this. So, what I'm just going to add is add an annotation here saying make this a secondary CTA, so a white one just like we have it in the nav bar. Now, the option to add the comment or to send it to chat GBT directly. So, the workflow that I like to do is just simply add

14:01this one. So, now I've gone ahead and annotated a few changes that I want to make on this website. And now up here I can send these all to chat GBT in one go or I can provide some additional information. So, here I'm telling it to process all the comments and then basically reload the preview when it's

14:15done. So, let's send this one off. And now we can see our website preview has reloaded with all of our changes applied. So, the hero button has updated and also the other changes that I had asked for. And if you compare this to the old way of doing things, especially if you're not the person at your company that's able to make changes to your website, maybe you'd have to leave some comments, give it to a web designer who would then give that on to a web developer. Now, you can literally just use the annotation feature, say you what you want changed and in a matter of

14:45minutes it is updated and I can now push this live on our website. Now, as I said, I'm using a tool called Framer. What you want to check is whatever website builder you're using, does it have a connection to these tools, to chat GBT, to Codex? So, another great one is Webflow that has a great connector or especially the new chat GBT sites feature that allows you to actually build entire websites directly here in chat GBT using the inbuilt browser is a great way to actually get to the outcome that you want incredibly quickly. It still blows me away that literally thousands of people are watching our tutorials every single day

15:20right here on YouTube. If you want us to cover any topic in particular, just let us know in the comments. We are here to help automate the boring part of your work so that you can focus on making real impact. Now, this next one's for anyone trying to win more customers and stay ahead of your competitors because by understanding what is working for your competitors in their marketing strategy can give you some great insights for your own. So, our next use case is using the Chat GPT browser to analyze a competitor's funnel. And this is incredibly useful especially if one of your competitors are running lots and

15:53lots of different ads. Here I have the Meta Ads or Facebook Ads Library open inside my Chat GPT Work browser. So, for anyone that doesn't know, both Meta Ads and also LinkedIn Ads have this Ads Library where they make it completely open about what ads other people are running. Now, if someone wanted to do this analysis manually, it would take an incredibly large amount of time because it basically involves clicking on every single one of these ads, finding the landing page that it's going to, signing up on the different funnels, and putting it all together. So, what I've done now here in Chat GPT Work, I have a built-in

16:28skill, which is the competitor funnel audit. So, I just need to be on a page of the Meta Ads Library. So, in this case, I'm looking at a page from an AI newsletter. I want to understand what is their marketing strategy, what are they doing, what different terminology are they using in their ads and their sign-up flows. So, let me send this one off. And now, the first question that this is asking me is which email address should be used for the sign-ups because I have my email address connected to Chat GPT Work. What it's able to do is when it actually goes and analyzes the

16:56entire funnel, whenever there is a lead magnet, it's actually going to fill in my email address that I give it. So, in this case, I have an email address connected to Chat GPT Work. It will then fill in the email address. I'll also give it the name to use. And because, as I said, the email is connected, even if there's like two-step verification, it'll be able to analyze the full funnel. And so, we can see now it's actually gone ahead and is opening up the different landing pages of the ads and will then go in and sign up to all of these. And now, one of the sign-up

17:26flows you can see here, this advertiser has got like a little onboarding quiz asking six questions, and ChatGPT worked in the browser is actually clicking through and filling all of this out for me. Now, this one ran a little over 10 minutes. I was using the fast mode here. So, if you're not using the fast mode, it may take a little bit longer. And we have our final reports. Let me open this one up a little bit bigger so you can see here it's already given me a one-liner of the strategy that they're going a free AI newsletter and then selling ads to companies. Superhuman wants people to subscribe to its free

17:56daily newsletter, and its ads offer practical reasons to join, cheat sheets, ready-made prompts, help with Claude, etc. Now, we have a few different sections in this report, which is really cool. So, first of all, we can take a look at the different ad messaging and creatives that they're using, which is all analyzed here. We have a breakdown of the different landing pages. So, in this case, they're only for all of those ads only running two different landing pages. We have the direct link to them and of the screenshot of the hero section of both, which is super super useful. And then, most importantly, we get a breakdown of the full flow of what

18:28happens after someone signs up. So, in this case, it was the sign-up to the newsletter. They get offered even more newsletters. They have to verify the email. Then they go to this onboarding quiz and basically land in to the free lessons and resources. And all of that is captured here. And then, finally, we're left with a section of potential ideas of what can we take for this strategy that we can apply to our own marketing. Next up, use case number seven, website monitoring. And this is something that we have to do a lot,

18:56especially with how fast AI is moving. So, in our case, what we're doing a lot is monitoring the different news that's happening in AI. So, for instance, here, the way it works at Anthropic, the company behind Claude, they have this release notes page where whenever there is a new update, they are basically just updating this page. And thanks to the Chat GPT browser, we've been able to create this skill called Claude release monitoring. And so, what this skill does is going to open up this release notes page, check if anything has changed since the last time it checked it. It keeps this a log in a Google Sheet, so

19:30it always knows what was the last thing that it checked. And in our case, we actually have this running on a schedule several times a day because just how fast things are changing, it's very important that we know as soon as a new model gets released or as soon as a new feature or new product gets updated that we need to know about it. And then if there is an update, it's going to send us a Slack message. So, you can see here it actually found one unlocked release, which was the release of the new Claude 5.5 Opus model. It also went ahead and

19:58added that to its Google Sheet log file. So, here we get the release date, what was the name of the release, the description, and also any links that were included with the release notes so I can find out more information. And here we can see that Slack notification that was sent on the Claude Opus 5.5 release. Now the team can just basically jump into this in one click. And obviously in our case, we're using this to monitor the news, but this has so many more applications. Again, on the idea of competitors, maybe if you need to track your competitors pricing, you could basically create a skill so that

20:29maybe once a week you go and open up their pricing page, check, compare it to the last time you checked the pricing page, and see if anything changed. Now, if you remember earlier on this video, we used the Chat GPT browser to extract data, pull data from Google Maps of popular restaurants in my area. Now, finding restaurants is one thing, actually getting a table is another and can sometimes take a lot of time. So, for our final use case, we're going to use the Chat GPT browser to do that for us. And that's using the Chat GPT

20:57browser to check available reservations. So, what I've gone ahead and done is created a restaurant reservation skill where from that list, I I which were actually my favorite restaurants. And now all I need to do is give this a time and say how many people. So I'll say 7:00 p.m. tonight, five people. Now, I'm sure most of you know the situation. You want to go out to a restaurant with a group of friends, but actually going and clicking through, finding which restaurants are available can take a lot of time. We can see here it's opening up all of those booking links on the different tabs, checking which

21:25restaurants are available for me. In a second it's going to just provide me with a list of what's available, and we can basically book this in one click. So now I know which of my favorite establishments actually has a table available without opening every booking site myself. And that is the common theme through everything you've just seen. You need to find a job that you keep doing in your browser and give ChatGPT the job instead. You don't need to start with all eight. Start with the one that you'd be happiest to stop doing yourself. Now, just to repeat everything I used today, all the prompts and skills

21:56are available for free in the community. Links in the description below. And if you're a founder or CEO watching this thinking your team should be working like this, that's the exact job we do. We train over 20,000 professionals, and we take teams from simply asking ChatGPT questions to actually handing over real work, saving them hours every single week. So if you're interested, book a call with us. Again, there's a link in the description below. Now, as impressive as it is, the browser is just one part of ChatGPT work. If you want to master the rest, the connectors, the skills, the agents that go and do real

22:26work while you do something else, watch this video right here next. Just give me the next 45 minutes of your time, and in return you'll understand ChatGPT work better than almost anyone in your company. I'll see you over there.
