0:00When it comes to trading, every week you put off learning how to use AI agents, other traders, they're just going to get further ahead with the same tools. Now, Grok Bot can read your charts, check tokens, place trades, it can monitor your trades throughout the day, it can move your stop losses, it can journal
0:15for you, it can give you feedback. There's really no excuse now. So, in this video, I'm going to show you everything you need to know when it comes to trading using Grok Bot. Just before I start, if you've been enjoying the tutorials, please hit the like button and make sure you're subscribed. It really helps me out here on YouTube, and I appreciate it. So, first of all, what do you need to do? Download Grok Bot. To download it, if you've not used it before, if you have an X premium account or you have a cursor account already, it's very likely going to be free access for a certain number of
0:42tokens. Obviously, it depends on where you live, your area, so double-check that. If you're still not sure how to download Grok Bot, I've got other videos on my channel. But, assuming you've got to a point where you know how to open up Grok Bot as an app, either on your phone or your Mac computer, then first thing
0:58to do is click on the plus icon. This is where we're going to create a new bot to get started. Now, you can call the bot whatever you want. For example, if it's trading for you, the first name I gave it was trade executor, because that's exactly what it does. So, when I'm having a look on the left-hand side, I know exactly what it does. And if you've already set up loads and loads of different bots, I recommend grouping together ones related to a certain thing you're doing. For example, my trading bots are all grouped together, and I'll show you how to do that in just a
1:24minute. So, then obviously, you can create whatever icon shape you want, color, etc. Now, I prefer to go for movie names, but you can do whatever you want. Use ChatGPT or even Grok Bot itself to find good names for your bot. Just something that will make it easier for you when it comes to communication. Next you want to do is right-click on your bot when it's created, and you can move it to and where it says here,
1:45folder. You can create a new section. So, I've got a section called trading, one called content. You can create your own section here, and then move all of those bots to that one section. So, these folders, I find very useful in terms of just organizing the left-hand side. Next thing is asking before I set up, what do you want me to do for you in terms of a bot? Do you want me to
2:03execute um to build trading plans, etc. I recommend splitting up two or three bots, one for analysis, one for trade execution, and you can add others as well if you're using one for other platforms or other types of asset classes. For example, I've got one well, a couple actually related to meme coins. So, I've created extra bots in relation to that. For this one, uh executing live trades, I'll just click A. Now, which it asks which exchange you trade on. I trade on different exchanges, but one of them is Hyperliquid. So, I set up my main executor bot, which naturally I call John Wick, and I set that up with
2:41Hyperliquid. Now, if you don't have a Hyperliquid account, I'll link it down below if you want to use it. You can set that up. It's mainly for crypto trading. And then, what happens is your AI agent can log in. It can use your login details. You'll share them here. It won't be able to see your password. It'll just have it saved. This is what Hyperliquid looks like for trading just as an example. And if you click on more here, you can see you've got the API option. So, all you need to do is go back and forth with your Grok bot in terms of setting that up. It'll ask you
3:10for some API details, and eventually get set up. It only takes a couple of minutes. And then, you can literally trade on Hyperliquid or other exchanges that have that API access. So, for example, I had a trade on well, Hyperliquid, ironically, and I asked it to sell some of the position, and it does it. It just does it straight away.
3:28And it just asks for confirmation here. So, I don't even need to place the trades. I find this very useful because let's say I wanted to take a trade on Solana, as you can see here, and I wanted to uh buy, but in a way that my stop loss, let's say my stop loss is below this swing low, I want that risk
3:45to be exactly, let's say, $200. Or even $2,000. It will work out how exactly how many uh what size of position I need, what leverage I need so that that is my exact risk. So I don't need to do all of that calculation anymore. And then it will work out my take profit targets. Remember, it will suggest take profit targets to me as
4:07well. And then I can then review them. So it's there working with me. So what else? So all of these agents here on the left, if you click on the name and you come to the right here, you'll see a few things. For example, there's a computer button here, library and details. So my analytics one called Morpheus, if you go on the right hand click on details, you can see it's got
4:29something called routines. And this is basically what I've set up with this particular AI agent. And I've set up what we might call cron jobs. So at certain periods of time during the day, it will send me a report. As an example, 7:00 a.m. my time, this is my report. This is what I've asked it to do. What are the top 10 cryptocurrencies doing overall? I just want a quick brief
4:49summary. What are the um big movers in the top 250? What's moved at least 15%? Because those might be ones I'd want to take a long position on or even a short. What's general price action? And what's the bottom line summary about how things are going at the moment with cryptocurrency? You can set this up for any asset class. And all you have to do to set this up is literally type into the bot exactly what your instruction is. For example, I trade AI stocks mainly. Can you prepare a detailed summary three times a day, so 7:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.? Run one right now
5:23so I can review what it looks like. And the reason I'm asking it to run one right now is I want to check the format. Do I understand it? Do I find it helpful? And you can see as I'm setting that up, it's added it here as a routine. Now computer, basically every AI agent here has its own computer. And all of these are connected to one cloud computer basically. So any logins you share with one of them, the other one has already. So, all of them actually have the login now for Hyper Liquid. So, that's very handy in case you want one of the other AI agents to work on
5:54something that. Now, you can click into this computer, wake it up, and there's one other really cool feature you can do. So, let me show you that. So, click on open here. Click on take control there, and I'm now inside the computer of the AI agent. This is how it's working. And if I want to explain like a certain action I take, it could be some kind of theory or analysis or trading or anything really, I can actually record it here for the agent, so it can follow those steps. So, it knows exactly what I'm doing. Uh for example, in terms of some sort of analysis. But, let's just click
6:28out to that and have a look at the report that it created. So, one of the issues you'll find with Grok Bot when it's giving you any of these summaries is I see a lot of numbers everywhere. 5%, 3%, 7%, and I know that's normally how trading is, but as human beings, it's not necessarily helpful if I want a general uh flavor of what's going on in the market. This is very mentally kind of draining reading through all of this and not necessarily helpful. So, you need to fine-tune this on the way you like it. So, as you read through this, what are the key things that you find
6:57useful? For example, the main driver is IPO coming from Anthropic Claude. So, maybe we could rewrite this as a TLDR and just ask it to use lay language, simple language only, high school language, no figures at all, just a general description of how the um market is at the moment. What are the key news events this week in calendar format that could affect prices of AI stocks? And you see at the bottom it says the next
7:23summary arrives at 7:00 p.m. UK time. So, we can always set up the routine exactly how we like it. Why does this help, these routines? It helps because this is the same market scanning you might spend an hour or two doing every single day that can suddenly be done within a few minutes. Well, not even a few minutes. I mean, it takes seconds to read this uh quick
7:42summary, and you know what to focus on. So, all of this is saving you massive amounts of time. And the other really cool thing is they can talk to each other, the agents. So, a lot of the time I'll ask my analytics agent to actually place a trade with my executor. And I can do that. But, even more than that, you can create a thread. So, previously the way to create that was to click on this plus icon, but now the button only creates a new bot and they haven't
8:06actually made a button for a group chat. So, what you have to do, for example, if you're on a Mac is click on command, shift, and N. If you're unsure, by the way, just ask the AI agent. That's what they're there for. But, basically you can add a few here. So, I can add, for example, the trade executor. I can add the analytics. So, let's just say it's them
8:25two. I can message them both now. And I've just typed in, "Let's discuss setting up a short trade on a major crypto coin." Enter. Let's see what they say. So, this is now a thread where we're all in discussion together. I find that easier than actually messaging one of them, the other one has to message another one, and then you don't see it. So, you see that they're both replying now. So,
8:44they're working together. Very powerful. You could have four or five agents on here talking. I would recommend probably three as the max, but yeah. Next thing, click on this below button here where it says connect apps. We've already talked about connecting HyperLiquid. But, if you have other apps that you use regularly, for example, I use TradingView. You can connect that too and you can log in. Or, if it's any, for example, Kraken or if it's any crypto site, you can log in directly here too. Very, very useful and it just speeds up connecting. And then, potentially, can access all of your data
9:15from there. Previous trades, help you journal, give you feedback on your existing trades that you've done so far, let's say in the last 1 month or 6 months. And you can ask it, look, you can literally type into it, "What are my my my common trading mistakes?" You can say, "Check my such and such account." To find the data on that. And by the way, in terms of apps, one thing they're building, which you can check out, is if you click on bot templates here in the top right, you can see they have a
9:41marketplace where you can go through it. So, they have existing bots. For example, Dr. Egg bot is quite popular cuz it helps you create your own grok bots. But, I've not seen many here in relation to trading, but keep an eye on this because there may be more and more coming, and some of these you can try. So, one of the ones I've set up, one of the regular kind of updates, this doesn't have an actual time, is I've asked it if there's any short setups or long setups on any crypto coin, share that with me. So, for example, it will make a random alert like this, Pengu's just tagged the
10:10bottom of its short zone at such and such price. There's no rejection candle yet. Be patient, etc., etc. So, you can ask it to do that for you. Why is this powerful? Well, let me show you. Let's say I'm watching one of these coins, like we were just discussing Pengu. So, let's have a look at the chart. And I'm having a look at the chart, and I can see here that price is kind of going sideways and it's choppy. This is not a great traders market when things are
10:34choppy. So, from about here, so I'd say 8, so pretty much nearly all month, so 3 weeks we've gone sideways. So, if you're trading this, you're going to get chopped out to bits. This is not ideal. You want the market to trend, to pick a direction. And trending markets are where you're going to make money. So, what I'm looking for on something like Pengu is um very likely what we could see, not very likely, but one of the things we could see is eventually um we could uh chop upwards, and we can take out these highs here, here, and here. So, basically, this region here, I ideally
11:09want price to spike above here, wick up like these kind of wicks here, and then get absolutely destroyed down. And the AI agent is watching this, monitoring this hourly, and is ready to send me that alert when it happens. And when it does happen, I will have the best risk reward. I don't want price to go up there and then go back down to the middle and then take a trade because my risk there is high. I want to get in at the most opportune moment. So, for example, at the tops here, I want to be shorting from these wicks ideal. I want to be shorting from
11:41here cuz my risk is minimal and my reward is quite big. That's what I'm looking for. So, I can't do that. I can't watch this chart every minute of every day. But, do you know who can? Those Grok bots. They can do that for me. And they can not only watch Pengu, they can watch hundreds and hundreds of cryptocurrencies waiting for that sweep setup. And you can program it for any strategy you want to, but that's the one I'm looking for. I'm looking for these sweeps. For example, to the downside, it didn't happen here in Solana, but we could have gone underneath here and then quickly
12:14reverse and set up a long trade. Very, very low risk there for a long trade if you're taking your position around here somewhere. So, it can monitor that. What's even better is once you're in a trade, so let's say you took a trade here and it's short and it's going down, it can monitor your trade, but not only that, it can move your stop loss. So,
12:34let's say my stop loss was up here. So, we'll mark that SL. Price is moving down. What I could tell it to do is the last significant on the hourly swing pivot point. So, let's go on an hourly here. So, the trade is in my favor and then it's pulling back and then it's going down again. I'm still in the trade, but I can ask it to move the stop from here now to here because if that price gets taken out, the structure might be changing. The trade I might lose in the trade anyway. I'd rather book in some profits. So, as I'm moving
13:02down, I want stop loss to move with it. To here, we're even discussing this. We're even discussing putting a trailing stop. So, it could It could be 0.5 or 1% below an hour's uh candles' typical range, but I don't like that. I prefer it at pivot points personally, but you could do it how you like. And it will do that for you cuz remember, it's already connected to wherever you're trading, for example, HyperLiquid. And these agents, they don't sleep. I mean, on many platforms nowadays, you you you can, you know, potentially not only set up trailing, but but definitely hard stop losses or take profit targets. You
13:33can set those up. But, you know, markets are evolving all the time. Things are changing every hour, every day. So, you want to be kind of fluid with it. So, I prefer an AI agent changes its opinion, and also it gives me honest feedback. The next day, even if I'm in a profit, it tells me what it thinks could happen with the market. Now, you don't follow it blindly. You have to use your own experience with it. That's the key. But, at the very least, it will know everything you know about your strategies and more, and it will do all this extra stuff, like monitoring
14:04everything, which you just cannot do. So, hope that helps. Thanks for listening.
