0:00Hey, it's Matt. We're talking about what's new in Grok Bot. Got a lot of stuff for y'all, so we're gonna break it down. First, we now have a main bot. So what we noticed was that everybody was kind of just creating this one main bot. Maybe it was called your chief of staff bot, or you called it something different, but we went ahead and just
0:14made that part of the product. So now you might see a bot called Grok Bot, and that's your main bot. Gotta watch out here, I might get hit by a truck. I don't think it sees me at all, so we're gonna go pretty quick. So you'll have this one main bot, and the cool thing about the
0:29main bot is that it's proactive. So what this bot is going to do is proactively look through all of your plugins, all the things you've connected, everything you have to do, and it's going to recommend things for you to do or to take actions on. So one example is that my main bot noticed
0:45that I had a flight that I changed. And on that flight, I had booked an Uber to pick me up from the airport. I forgot to change the time of my Uber, the bot proactively reminded me, hey, when your flight lands, you're not going to have a car because you scheduled it for later.
1:00You should change that. Then I was able to do so. Now, not everybody is jet-setting, flying around. Look, I get it, I'm not that guy either. But maybe you have a kid, maybe your kid's soccer practice time gets changed and the coach sends you an email. The main bot is going to be able to be proactive and say, hey,
1:15I noticed that the soccer practice time changed. It's not on your calendar. I moved that for you. Now you don't have to worry about it at all. So you don't have to set up an automation, you don't have to do anything special, you're just gonna have this proactive bot that's kind of got your back, and I found that to be huge.
1:32All right, we got some other updates for you. First of all, there's some really great engineering features. So we've made some updates to how bots do engineering work. We've always had a Cursor Cloud Agent integration, but now bots can interact with Origin and GitHub, shout out Origin team, more smoothly and manage PRs, surface you information, give you cards
1:54with the status of those pull requests a little bit better. So that's one big improvement. And bots are also able to show you the work that they've done via a video preview now. So check out our much better engineering use cases and integrations. And you can also go ahead and see some engineering skills that
2:15we recently published. So those are some engineering improvements we've made, but we've also made improvements to some of the ways that Bot is doing knowledge work. Now that comes primarily through improvements to our Google Suite connectors. So Bot can now connect to Sheets, Slides, Docs much more accurately, and it can also do more work inside those products. But we have a special slide skill as well that allows
2:39Bot to make slides for you and send you the actual PPTX files. You'd have to just try this in a chat with Grok Bot. For those of us that are working in Microsoft suite products, or those of us that actually need the files, this can be very useful. So give that a shot. We've also made some improvements to email attachments and the
2:57way that bot interacts with you over emails. Okay, now the other improvements are mainly around Team Bots. If you haven't heard about Team Bots, check out my last video. I talked through what Team Bots are. Basically, you can create a bot and share it with your team. Kind of works like an internal tool.
3:11Really great. Well, what did we improve? Team Bots can be installed into Slack, so you can actually create a Slack bot from your Team Bot, and it kind of stays in sync with the definition of that bot. Really cool stuff. What else can you do? Well, you can create a thread for your Team Bot now where everybody
3:29can chime in and leave feedback. So you're like reviewing some marketing copy, everybody can leave their feedback in the thread. The bot is going to watch that thread and do work as it sees new comments come in. Now, the team has been hard at work making some really great improvements to how bots watch threads like these. So what you'll notice is that small comments, like if I said nice
3:49or thanks, won't get picked up by our bot. And that's something that's always happened with Slack bots. It's actually really annoying and can be super noisy. So Grok Bots in your Slack threads will not do that, and they can also watch for like quite a long time. So what you'll notice is that these Slack threads can be watched by bots for really, really long conversations with multiple people
4:12commenting. So that's how Team Bots have been getting better. You can also now have voice calls with Team Bots, so your entire team can jump in on a voice call and talk to the Team Bot that you created. Personally, I love voice calls. I think they're a great feature, and it's nice to see some of those
4:27features coming to the team. This one's just kind of a quality of life improvement in those Slack threads. You'll see a status line that shows you kind of what the bot is working on through long threads. That's a kind of nice to have. And then you can also search plugins or marketplace with a really quick shortcut. You hit Command K, that's going to pull in, pull up our plugin search console, just a way to search our latest and
4:49greatest templates and plugins for Grok Bot. So those are some of the new changes in Grok Bot for you. I'm Matt with SpaceX AI, and this has been what's new in Grok Bot. We had a big one this week. Lots of more updates to come soon. Until next time, peace.
