0:00How old are you? I'm 15 years old. Why did the founder of Open Claw tweet about you? I earned $30,000 in sales helping people set up Open Claw. Can we see it? The process is easy. Let's do screen share. Presented by Zapier, the AI automation company. At a South by Southwest event here in Austin, I saw multiple people present about how they make money setting up AI tools for clients, including today's

0:24guest. How did you discover Open Claw? So, I actually got introduced to it by friends and peers, and I thought I'll take a stab at it, right? And I have done a lot of amazing things with it from there. Like what? I've had it build mobile apps for me. You had it build a mobile app? What

0:43mobile app did you have it build? There've been a couple I've had it build. One is I've actually had it build some of my uh cooking app for my Alpha X project. Okay. That's your school project? Okay. And now that app is in the App Store, right? Yes. Right on. I heard also that you had started helping other students at school set up Open Claw, and through that you had a guest speaker, Nat Eliason, come in. He saw you help other people, and what did

1:15he tell you that led to a sale? There's this person who wants to get set up with Open Claw, but he had trouble with it. Do you He was asking, "Do you know of any people who could help me?" And he was like told me, and I was like, "I'd be totally fine. So, I'll take a stab at it and see

1:32what happens." Was it hard to install it for the client? The first time it did take me a while just because different operating system than I'm used to, and things like that. It did take me like 3 3 and 1/2 hours. Because you were doing it on a Mac for yourself, and this person had a PC,

1:51right? Yes. Okay. All right. You know what? That's not even that long to set it up. And you charged How much did you charge? I only charged $250, which was kind of a mistake in my opinion because I didn't know what the prices were, and now I know. What's a good price to charge now to set

2:13up Open Claw on someone's computer? So, it really depends person to person. Some people are charging 3,000, 5,000 plus dollars. I charge anywhere from one to like a thousand and up depending on what the scope of your project is and what you want. A thousand and up, okay. What do you What's the max? What could you give somebody if they're paying the max

2:39price? So, that really depends on what they want. So, like for example, we have a custom project I'm doing where we're setting up a bot to basically do trade like stocks and options for them. And that's a like bigger project. It was, I believe, $10,000. Something like that. Mhm. Whoa. So, if somebody is getting Open Claw to help them buy and sell stock, you're Are you manipulating the browser, or is Open Claw manipulating the browser to buy and sell stock, or are you using API

3:14connections, or what? It will use API connections because the browser it can detect these bots, and this is the issue we've had with Open Claw is like it browser automation, but it can't close tabs, which then it thinks it's a bot. And then I see, yeah. Bot detection is pretty good. I also find that having the browser option, it's cool that it can manipulate a browser, but it's just so

3:40slow. It's so clunky. Okay. So, you're connecting directly into their trading platform and into other tools that they're using to make their trading decisions, and now Open Claw will help this person trade. Yeah. All right. That's fantastic. Um can I Can I see your process? Like what does it look like uh when somebody

3:59books with you? Let's do a screen share. Basically, I just put out a tweet that was like, "I've set up an AI agent on my Mac, and it sells things for me while I'm at school, and I can help other people set it up. Here's my meeting link if you want to join." And so, you had 32,000 views on that, and I see that people bookmarked it because I guess they wanted to save it for later, they hearted it, and all that. It's That's phenomenal. On a sales page, right? Mhm. Okay. And this is primarily where you get new users, new customers. They see you on Twitter, and

4:38they sign up to book a call with you. We'll take a look at the calendar in a moment. Can you show me another tweet just to give me a taste of what types of tweets are pulling people in? So, something like this. I actually got reposted by this guy, and he was like, Yeah, I see. 15-year-old is making money installing Open Claw. What did you get done this week? And and even more people now come in on that. All right. So, now people see that, they see the link either in one of your tweets, or they see it on your profile, um and then it goes into a calendar. Can I see what the

5:10back end looks like? Basically, when you book, I will get like you'll get confirmation, etc. And then in the form that people fill out when they book, I'll ask them just a couple quick questions about their business or their business and any other problems or struggles they have when they are like in their just business in general. I see. Cuz you're trying to understand why they need this, what problem it's solving for them, and prepare yourself for a call. How long is your call with

5:44them? It's usually 15 minutes. Does go a bit longer sometimes. Okay. And you can just close on a call like that with somebody who found you on Twitter on X? Yeah. Wow. All right. Um and then you also get referrals. Can I see what those referrals emails look like? Yeah. So, this is an example of one.

6:08Oh, that's fantastic. Okay, let me see. My friend Marty is looking to set up his Open Claw on a PC. Would you want to take that on for a fee? Let me know if it's a Got it. All right. And so, you say, "Hey Casey, yeah, I can take that on. Uh can you forward him meeting link?" And then now you've got another person who's coming in the meeting link. That's

6:23fantastic. Mhm. What do you think to some Well, what do you say to someone who's considering doing something like this? Basically, setting up clients with AI tools like Open Claw. I would say it's like a pretty good way to start. I just think you need to find the right audience to do this. And do you think it's just going to be on Twitter? It feels to me like that's where many people are right now who are looking for cutting-edge high-tech,

6:51right? Yeah, I think yeah, a lot of the new the new like AI tech is like very centered on X and Twitter. All right. I could also imagine it happening on different newsgroups or or message boards, um email lists, and so on. The thing though that I find is that people really believe that AI can transform their lives, and it's also just really tedious to try new software, to set it up, to figure out how it could

7:21be useful for them. Are these people amateurs, or are they technically competent who are coming to you for the most part? I think a lot of them just like are work like are very like labor-focused, and don't necessarily have the expertise to do this, and so that's why I'm there to help them. But do you feel like they're technical enough? Like these are people who know ChatGPT from what you've told me. They understand the basics of AI. They just can't build the stuff. They definitely

7:54are somewhat advanced. Mhm. But I just think they struggle with getting it fully set up and working. When Peter Steinberger um posted about it, did you get customers from that tweet? I did get some, yes. Okay. Right on. That's fantastic. All right. Overall revenue again, where is it? 30,000 just about. Over how much time?

8:23How long have you been doing it? For just about two to three weeks now. Two to three weeks. That's fantastic. How big do you think it could go? Yeah. I think it could go hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars if I can scale it up well enough. What do you mean by scale it up? What

8:42else do you need to do? Like I I'm busy. I'm in school, and don't have the most amount of time, which is kind of a limiting factor. I think you can start hiring adults to do this, frankly. I mean, I've talked to other adults who hire people to go set it up, and they spend time getting new customers and talking about their wins and talking case studies. Don't you

9:02think? Yeah. Or use Open Claw to set it up. Yeah. That's actually what I've done with one of mine. I had mine set up another claw on the same device. Yeah. I remember doing that. That was a magical experience where I realized, "Wait a minute. It could do stuff like that. It could set up another agent for me. It could update itself." The whole idea is that it's autonomous, and it's working beautifully. All right. Uh for people who want to go and sign up with you and hire you to set them up with Open Claw,

9:32Twitter's the best place? Yeah, Twitter's the best place. All right. What's your name on Twitter? Um it's Branson_ATX. All right. And we'll have a link to it in the show notes. Thanks, Branson. Congratulations. Yeah. Thank you.
