0:00Hello everyone. This is a Nico and welcome back to Next Week. And today, today, today is a very very exciting and a very special day because we are starting out a new project series. This is AI for student and our very first project for this series is find internship with AI and basically we are building an internship radar that finds

0:22an internship for you every morning. Wow. And this is perfect especially that the internship season is coming and the difficulty of this project is easy. The time will be 35 minutes. The cost will be free to $20. Searching for internship often means bouncing between job boards and internship sites and after dozens of tabs, the strongest matches start to disappear into the noise. In this project, you will be building or we are going to build an internship radar inside ChatGPT project named internship radar. It searches job boards for internships that fits your resume or our resume, scores interview and imports your focus short list into Google Sheet

1:11tracker as one batch. Wow. Okay, what you'll build in this project is we have a candidate which is in this project us or me and that should be you as well. And we have here the ChatGPT project named internship radar. So we have the the redacted resume, the career brief, ChatGPT search and the schedule. Okay, we also have the ChatGPT mobile

1:36here for daily push notification. Yeah. And the job platform websites like LinkedIn, company sites, Job Street, Naukri and Seek. We also have here the Google Sheet to write the all of the results for the role, company, link, fits for, status and next action. Cool. Now, by the end of this project, we are going to have an internship radar, a career brief, and an internship radar tracker that receives your focused short list as one batch. And in the secret mission, we are going to search one company and prepare a revised outreach message to send or save for them. Do we have any prerequisite for this project? Yes,

2:25basically what we need is to have a ChatGPT plus subscription, and you can also have that using the official 2026 student offer eligible for US student. You also need to have a Google Sheet and a resume. Okay. Now, before we start, an internship radar that check job board each morning means you spend your time applying instead of searching. Before you build it, think of

2:53the internship you want to find. Okay. In this project, I am looking for AI automation or any AI engineering related from internship. Also, I am looking for an automated way to streamline my internship search.

3:20So, with that, in this project, I'm looking for an AI. Perfect. Cool, let's view my work and there you go, that is beautiful. And as you can see, you also have your um project documentation here, which is perfect if you are indeed looking for an internship opportunity. And what's one good thing about this is

3:44that you can also change the theme here. You see, we have the light theme, dark theme, fun mode, the skylight, and this very interactive retro fit. Okay, step one. Now, in this part, we are going to run your first internship radar. A useful internship radar should prove itself before you spend time tuning it. Your first result comes from the resume you already have, so you can judge the idea within 10 minutes. You will create a personal ChatGPT project based a redacted resume and run one internship search. The The result is short-listed or short list for up to five current tools with direct links and

4:33one line fit note. Oh, wow. Okay. Cool. Now, in this project, we are going to create a personal ChatGPT project named Internship Radar. Based a resume with private contact details removed and run your first internship radar search. In this project, I am going to create a personal ChatGPT project named Internship Radar. I will then going to use my redacted resume to send the details and run my first internship radar

5:09search.

5:16Cool. And if you're curious, I am using Vocal Linux. This is an alternative for Whisper flow. Okay. Cool. Create a personal ChatGPT. Now, check your student offer. Um again, there is a new offer for ChatGPT, which is a student developer launch. You get four months of ChatGPT work on us. This is an $80 value for eligible US college students, and you must claim this one before

5:49or by October 31st. Cool. Now, your resume gives internship radar are useful in evidence, but it may also contain details it doesn't need. ChatGPT projects you are private by default, so turn off model trade training before adding your resume to ChatGPT. Everything else just do this one. Right here. Cool. Now, open settings and data controls and improve models.

6:27Settings. Settings. Data controls.

6:38Okay, keep this turned off. Cool. You should see improve the model for everyone switch off. New conversation on this project are no longer used to trade open AI model. Now, this is part of making sure that your private information won't leak or used for training the model. Now, return to ChatGPT and create a new project name

7:03internship radar. Plus here. Name it internship radar. Create project. There you go. Cool. Now, redact and paste your resume. Internship radar needs your educational skills, project, and relevant experience. It doesn't or it it does not need your phone numbers, street address, personal ID number, or anyone else's contact details. Open your resume, so I have already have

7:39my resume here. Copy this one. I need to place it here and open my resume. That's my resume here. There you go. Make sure that your private information such as your personal phone numbers, street address, or personal ID numbers are removed or redacted from your resume. Cool. This is my resume. There you go.

8:12You just need to send that. That's your way there. Cool. Now, that is the sensitive part handled. The chat should now show your career evidence without private contact details. Read your uploaded resume and we'll use it as the evidence base for internship search. Cool. Okay, run your first internship. Oh, by the way, if you see private details after pasting, um you just need to delete that message, remove the private details from your resume, and copy and paste the redacted

8:52version once again. Or you can just, um click this. I like the text here and that will automatically lead you to our chat mode or ask mode for the plan for the project. This will basically help you to debug or solve whatever you are facing. Of course, the try related to the project. [laughter]

9:18Okay. Now, run your first internship radar. Okay, the first search uses your resume as is. This gives you the base time before you show your shorter career brief. Sharpens internship radar and a step two. Record your country where you want to search for job. I'm going to use um um going to use

9:47Now record your preferred region or city. My preferred city is

10:06Metro Manila, NCR, E and

10:17and hybrid setup. Cool. Run your first internship reader search with ChatGPT search by sending this prompt. Before you send it, which part of your resume do you expect to earn the strongest match? I see. That would be the most related to AI. Okay. Now let's just paste this the chat here. There you go. So basically what we're doing here is we want ChatGPT to search at the web for a top five current internship in the Philippines that fit my redacted resume and and

10:59Metro Manila, NCR, hybrid setup. Search official company career pages first. Also check LinkedIn jobs and main job boards in my country such as Job Street in the Philippines. Now pre and uh seek in Australia, New Zealand and do not rely on Handshake. I got

11:32There you go. I'll check the official career page first and then LinkedIn jobs and JobStreet and verify. As you can see, now the search engine of ChatGPT is now checking all of the internship and job sites. And it has been, I believe, checking it simultaneously. And as you can see, this is very exciting. We already have the list of the internship roles that is matched to

12:02my resume. Wow, wait. The company, direct link, and the fit score out of 100, I got 92. Oh. Wow. And the one-line evidence-backed line. Okay. Now, I got automation developer, open to internship, OJT, and fresh graduates. This is with Q C hybrid. We also have um data IT intern, automation, Makati, business application intern, technical

12:33internship, and HR for marketing intern. Wow. Okay. Cool. Now, and that is your first payoff. You should see the internship list with a company and job link and a score out of 100. And how should you read the score? The fit score is ChatGPT's estimate to help you to prioritize, not This is basically not a grade. It is a high score points to match evidence, but you still decide whether the role

13:09deserves your time. Okay. Is there any missing direct link or fit note? Check. I think it's working. Let's just check it first. Okay. The link is accurate. Let's check another one. Let's try LinkedIn. And there you go. HR and marketing intern, business process and AI. There you did it. Cool. Okay, there you go. Take a screenshot of

13:39your first export internship short list. Crop out any private resume details. Take a screenshot of this first. There you go. Add it here and hit done. There you go. Okay, step two. Sharpen your internship radar. Now, your first internship radar search during a reductive resume and a sport short list. Now, you will make Now, you will make a search more selective without inventing

14:18a longer profile. A three-part career brief gives the ChatGPT the choices that a resume cannot fully explain. What is a career brief? A career brief [snorts] is a concise high-level summary of a professional background, skills, and key achievement. It is designed to quickly communicate your value proposition to recruiters or networking contacts, acting as a highlight reel that is shorter and more focused than a

14:47full resume. Now, we are going to define target titles, connect each top skill to evidence, and state where and how I want to work. In this step, I am sharpening my internship radar by creating a three-part career brief, and then I'll be re-running the internship radar and compare the short list. This will make sure that every roles in the list will match my skills

15:19and preference.

15:26There you go. It started. And let's review our work here. Beautiful. Cool. Now, the brief acts like a daily filter placed over the first search. It also set the direction. The resume examples keep the scale honest, and then the word preferences removes roles that you would not pursue. Cool, let's just paste this prompt here.

16:00There you go. What we should expect to see. Should expect to see this output. Speaking of that, it's now working.

16:18There you go. So, here is the target internship titles, up skills that I have, and the preferences. Which is the country location and the working setup. Let's just copy that. And then, let's paste it here. There you go. Cool, and then we are going to rerun and compare the internship data. The second search uses the same sources and output as the first. The only meaningful change is the the approved brief, so that any shift in titles or score shows

17:00what the sharper context change. Run the focus search with ChatGPT search by sending this prompt. Before you send it, do you expect the short list to become more narrow or simply or simply reorder the same groups? I think that would be more narrow.

17:29Now, what does this prompt do? Basically, it's rerunning the internship reader using the thief and my redacted resume earlier. It will be searching the official company career pages first. Also, look check um the LinkedIn, Job Street, and job job boards across the country. Then, it will return up to five current match with this column, your role, the company, direct link, fit score out of 100 and one line evidence-backed

18:00fit. And there you go. Cool. All right. Now, we have our IT intern automation assistant. There you go, IT intern automation. Check the official posting here. For the intern technical internship software analytics and AI for property management operations. Wow. That's an interesting role. And for the last one, we have the HR marketing intern business process

18:39and AI. Ooh, okay. Cool. Now, you should see a new short list shaped by the pre-approved filters. Some roles may move, disappear, or receive a different score because internship reader now knows your target titles and work preferences. Cool. Now, compare your role titles in the first and second short list. Yes, I've already done that. You can take a screenshot of your focus

19:11to short list here. Screenshot this first.

19:26Then you paste it here. There you go. And then your internship radar now knows what belongs in short list. Next you will schedule it as a morning in morning internship radar. Ooh, okay. And import the focus short list into a six-column tracker. And we are now on a step three and in this step we are going to schedule and track your internship radar. Your internship radar now ranks roles against

19:59three choices that we approve. The next job is to make that short list easy to receive and easy to act on. Your ChatGPT search already produced the roles that you need for the tracker. You will schedule internship radar as the morning internship radar. Okay. On eligible ChatGPT plus accounts, then import the latest focus short list into a six-column Google Sheet tracker

20:28as one batch. Cool.

20:40Cool. In this step I am setting up morning internship radar or set up internship radar. Create a tracker with six columns and import the latest focus short list into Google Sheet as one batch so it's easier for me to check the roles and the list.

21:08Okay. There you go.

21:14Now, schedule morning internship radar eligible free accounts or eligible accounts can keep up the three active schedules task each running no more than once per day in a flexible windows if scheduled is an available run internship radar manually with the same task that come for $0. Begin the chat containing your approved brief and focus internship radar search request warning internship radar by by sending

21:46this instruction. So, in this instruction we are instructing ChatGPT to create a task named morning internship radar, run it once each morning in flexible window, then use this approved three-part career brief on every run your approved three-part career brief. Okay, cool.

22:36Okay, next is we need to get our phone and install the ChatGPT mobile app. So, you can use Apple App Store if you are on iPhone and Google Play Store if you are on Android. So, cool.

22:57Download it. Search ChatGPT.

23:05Click install.

23:11Just wait for it to complete. There you go. Installing.

23:30Okay, let's open it and make sure to sign in your application or your account that is eligible for the workflow. Again, Google.

24:08Let's allow notification. And there you go. Next is what we need to do is we need to confirm that the morning internship radar appears in your schedule. Let's check and there you go. We have our schedule here. Look. Cool. If somehow you cannot create morning internship radar, check whether your schedule appear on the ChatGPT web.

24:45Something like this. Okay, because availability depends on the account and app version. If it remains absent, run internship radar manually instead of upgrading for this project. Okay, or just simply click this highlighted text to help you set up morning internship radar or use internship radar manually. How does your morning internship radar run each day and what will it send you? Morning internship radar runs every 8:00 a.m. in the morning, search all throughout job sites and give me the top five most related

25:31roles for me every day.

25:42Cool. Let's view my work here. But just in case you want to add more, okay, let let's keep it really simple for now. But if we are going to post it, make like improve it first or add more details about what you are building in this project. Okay, next is we are going to create a six-column tracker. A short tracker should answer two questions at a glance, which role is worth attention and what

26:12happens next. Six columns are enough to keep the decision visible. Open a new spreadsheet. And then rename it as internship radar. And then use this.

26:49There you go. Let's create a blank sheet here. Oops.

27:09Let's name it Internship Radar Tracker.

27:19There you go. Now select A1. Cell A1 and then we need to give it a name to paste this. So we have here our six column, the role, company, link, hits, or status, and next action. Beautiful. Now you should see the headers fill cell A1 to F1. Right? And every row below them stays

27:44empty. Internship Radar needs Google Drive permission to use the spreadsheet you just created. Google shows the requested access before you approve it, so check that you sign in in the actual or the actual account that owns the tracker. Open settings in ChatGPT. You can search for apps, apps login. Patient. Search for Google Drive. There you go.

28:23And then check. So it's already connected. Um keep it that way, and if it's not, just install the plugin. There you go. And next is you need to check to receive the downloads on your Google Drive. Okay, and then receive all your Google Sheets spreadsheet and see, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheet. There you

28:52go. Add the Focus Shortlist to your tracker. The latest Focus Shortlist already contains the rules and fits for your tracker needs. A batch action moves the whole shortlist into Google Sheet without retyping each rule. Basically, what we need to do is just copy this prompt. This is an Internship Reader Shortlist batch import. Okay, go back to our internship search.

29:20I'll add it here. And paste this. Use the most recent Focus Internship Reader short list in this chat. Do not run a new search. Okay. Now, what does this batch prompt do? It uses the latest shortlist already visible in the chat. So, ChatGPT doesn't need to search again. It places every new rule in the

29:45consecutive empty row. So, the tracker row in the spreadsheet that we just created here. Okay, so the tracker receives the full shortlist at once, and it preserves existing rule and skips exact duplicate links. Review every rule in the preview table. Okay, there you go. Here's the preview, and we need to write a reply approve batch.

30:21There you go. Let's just wait for that to finish.

30:31There you go. Updated Internship Reader tracker in one batch. Let's just click this link and sign in. Or you can just simply refresh this and there you go. All right. This is awesome. Cool. So, we already have a row here. The company, the link, the fits for status and the next action. Basically, the next action would be would be just open the direct link,

31:06which is this.

31:11And like that. And there you go. And simply hit click apply. Cool, this is amazing. Now, open your Google Sheet. Again, we've already done that and that batch is now ready for review. Every shortlisted Joule has a visible status and concrete next action. Take a screenshot of your focused shortlist in your six-column tracker

31:38work. Or crop here. Open that one. You're going to minimize this one. Oh. Let me just

32:06There you go.

32:12Take a screenshot. Yes. Is it there? And hit done. There you go. Your Internship Radar and Tracker now work as one system. When Morning Internship Radar produces um a shortlist, you can improve that full batch and start reviewing every rule from one place. [snorts] That is beautiful. And for who's for the secret mission?

32:40Are you guys ready? I am ready and I am excited because in the secret mission we are going to search one company and draft one message for that. One strong internship waiter resource can become a real conversation. But first is we need to choose the company that we would genuinely like to understand before we draft our note note

33:05or message. Okay, we will check a few public facts and draft a short note. ChatGPT can search and suggest words, but you will decide whether to send it through an appropriate professional channel or to save it for later. Now, in this step we are going to search for a company from a track internship waiter role. Check one current company fact

33:31connected to the internship. Review one message addressed to hiring team and send the message through an official professional channel or save it for later. Cool. Now, research one company. Okay, I'm going to choose I think Let's choose one company from this.

34:02Okay, I think I will choose this. IT intern automation. So, the company is CrowdSource Solutions Corporation.

34:20Let's go back here. There you go. Now, open the company's official website and then let's just check if is a company's official website here.

34:45I think they have. But that's okay. Cool. Okay, identify one Korean company fact and connect the internship. Okay, this research Oh, okay, this is cool. Basically, what will happen is ChatGPT will research crowdsource solution or the company that you choose for you using the Korean public sources. Okay, so you just need to copy that. So this first tab is in

35:17this space here. There you go. And then let's paste it there.

35:29And let's just wait for the result. This is exciting. Okay, so now thinking.

35:45Okay, as you can see, it's a it is now investigating the company and it's not just taking checking from one job site but all throughout the job site and it's actual um official site. Okay, here you go. There's the official site and the current relevance fact. It's official IT assistant posting and this is the internship focus, the listing emphasis improving existing automations, building any and workflow mapping process in Miro and integrating system. Ooh,

36:20okay. Now, open the official company sources. Let's just wait good. Let's check this. There you go. Mhm. Now, after we finalize um and we are sure that this is the company that we really want, basically what we need to do is to draft and choose the sending path. Is the to keep the message short enough to read in one glance. The goal is to respectfully call Ooh, the goal is to have a respectful conversation, not an application or request for special treatment. Draft the note

37:06they're sending this. Do you think you'll get a chat with me?

37:14Okay, basically this will draft a concise professional message to hiring team at CrowdSource or at the company that you choose. Start exactly with Hello hiring team. Use only chat pre-search. Do not mention the verified company fact. Naturally ask the research question. Do not ask for job. Keep your message under 100 words. Okay, there you go. Hello hiring team. I know this is about your IT assistance posting highlights and end automation

37:46and mirror workflow mapping tools. Also mention in your IT intern automation listing. Would you share an example of an existing end-to-end workflow that the intern would improve and how their changes would be reviewed before deployment. Thank you for your time and answer. Ooh, this is interesting message if you ask me. There you go. Rewrite the phrase if you would not if you would not naturally say that. Confirm that the

38:20message starts with hello hiring team. Yes. And check the company's name, check the research fact against its source, and remove any unsupported claim. Choose the next step based on your professional contact options and company provides. So, if the official company already have their like application, you can just simply hit the apply. Like click apply and then paste your resume here. Make sure to

38:54of course, sign in using your account.

39:03And hit apply and send your message there. Or if there's an existing professional connection, like something like this, you can just simply apply for that job using this form and fill the application. Or if there is no contact yet, just use this path when the company does not provide a suitable contact method. Save the review draft until an official

39:31channel becomes available. And that's it. If you send the message, you should see it in the sent thread or folder. If you save it, you should see the draft stored with the company source and research question. Take a screenshot of your message sent from thread or folder. I think I'll get use this first.

40:01And hit done, and there you go. Cleaning up your resources is very important for every next week project, but if you want to keep everything running, you don't need to do any action. If you want to pause, just simply pause morning internship radar. It will stop automatic runs while keeping your project ready and you can use it for later. But if you want to delete everything, which is very sad, I'm just kidding. You just simply need to follow this instruction to

40:30delete that. And to finally wrap up this project, what were the key tools and concept you learned in this project? The key tools I used includes ChatGPT and Google Sheets. The key concept I learned is agent orchestration and AI automation.

41:02Very good.

41:11This project took me approximately 40 minutes. The most challenging part was making sure that all the roles really match my skills and my preferences.

41:33This makes it a crucial project since we want to make sure that every project roles matches what I really wanted to pursue.

41:56I did this project today to learn how to set up my ChatGPT to become a personal AI agent to search internship roles for me. And another skill that I want to learn is how can I make it more autonomous and streamline.

42:19And that's it. Your internship radar is ready. You did it. Woohoo! There you go. All right. Congratulations everyone and thank you so much for joining me building this project and I hope I really hope that you'll find your next internship role for your academic year. Thank you so much and if you want to learn more about AI or more project like this, do not forget to hit the subscribe button and that notification so you are always updated for the latest uploads. Thank

42:53you so much. Ciao.
