This is the full transcript of How To Use Grok Bot For Beginners (Create Your First Routine!), published on YouTube by Daniel Lasek | AI Automation. 0:00You've been hearing GrokBot everywhere, so by the end of this video, I'm going to teach you what GrokBot is and how you can create your first AI agent on GrokBot and get you up and running. So, essentially, what is GrokBot? GrokBot is just basically an AI teammate. Think of you chatting with an AI model like Grok or ChatGPT or Claude, but essentially, this bot is like your personal assistant, and you can create as many as you want, and you are giving tasks to your employees. So, the first thing you want to do is just click download for macOS or download for Windows. And here's how the software looks. So, when
0:36you have your first bot over here, you can basically just tell it, "Hi." And it's going to respond to you as if you're talking to like another AI model. Now, let's create this plus button here and create a new bot. Right click on it and go to rename. Let's call this AppleMan. Now, essentially, what we can do in GrokBot is we can give it routines, we can give it tasks, it can do certain
1:02stuff. This is basically my employee. So, what do I want my employee to do that I called AppleMan? Essentially, let's go on Yahoo Finance, let's get the current price of the stock, and at the same time get the top five recent news posts, and I want this daily at 9:30 a.m. Now, head on over to your browser, search up Yahoo Finance and the ticker symbol AAPL, which is Apple. Now, essentially, I'm going to copy this URL at the top, go back to my GrokBot. So, here is what I told my GrokBot. Let's
1:36create a routine. Every day at 9:30 a.m. Eastern, give me the current price of Apple here, and I pasted the link. And on and the top five recent news. This is the market open. And then create a second routine, but this one running at 4:00 p.m. That's when the market's close. And then this is the closing market. So, click enter and see what
1:55happens. Now, let's just say send me a sample. So, here's a sample of what I will expect to receive from this routine. I have my price and the top five headlines and I can also click into them. I can basically get any stock I want. In this case, I chose Apple, but I can also get Croc Bot on my phone. But hey, let's make my life even easier. Let's make another bot whose job is going to be to text me this information. That's going to get it from Apple Man. So, what you want to do is click this plus, click on new bot, right click, rename, and let's call this
2:35man Jack the Messenger. Now, we want to connect Twilio. So, I already logged into Twilio. I can make a whole video series on how to connect it, but for this case, I'm just going to enter my credentials and just show you in general what Croc Bot is capable of. I'm essentially just saying connect
2:57Twilio. I will provide my keys. If you've already connected Twilio in the past, you will not have to do this again. So now, after I got my Twilio connected, I just said send me a text message test. And just like that, I got my test message. So now, what I want to do is I have Jack
3:16the Messenger and I have Apple Man. Apple Man is going to be getting my reports, so that's running on its own routine. Jack the Messenger has no routine. All it does is just sends the messages. So, I can essentially make a multiple bots and then use Jack the Messenger to text me the information. So
3:34now, I want to create a manager. So, create a new bot, rename him, and let's call him the Finance Manager. Now, essentially, what I want the Finance Manager to do is to go to Apple Man, get that report, and then send it to Jack the Messenger, and Jack the Messenger will text me that report. So, we can even do that on a routine. So, let's do that. Create a routine that every day at 9:35 a.m. you get the report from Appleman and use Jack the Messenger to text it to me. I just give it a little few minutes of buffer time
4:08in case, you know, it's fetching data. So, click enter, and that is all. So, let's run a sample test. Run sample. So, it's running a sample now. It's asking Appleman, so it just messaged Appleman, and it's going to hand over the information, and then send it to Jack the Messenger. So, now Appleman seems like it's running over here. We just got a message from Appleman. Got Appleman's Apple brief, sending it to Jack now. Jack has the brief, and he'll text me shortly. And let's wait until a new message comes in. It looks like I
4:47have to confirm it. So, let's do this. Let's modify our Jack the Messenger because I don't want to be able to confirm it. Modify yourself. So, we have to modify Jack the Messenger. So, from now on, we do not want confirmations to send a message. When we talk to Jack the Messenger, I just want him to
5:11automatically send it. Now, I just realized the text message never actually sent because I'm on a trial account on Twilio, which I surpassed the character limit. So, let's do some modifications now, which we can. So, here's what I said, instead of sending the recent news from Appleman, only send me Apple's price at the time. Make this a note and remember for the
5:31future. Now, this would have worked if I would have been on a paid plan, or if I would have been sending it to like Slack, for example, or email, but since I'm just doing a quick test for this demo here, we can just cut this down. So, now let's do run sample.
5:58So, now it just messaged Apple Man and now it's going to wait again on Apple Man to get all the pricings and then once it's done, Jack's going to get that message and automatically send it out because we said do not ask for confirmation anymore. So, now let's wait for our text message. There we go. So, here is the message that I just got live. Now, the finest manager is going to be doing this every single day automatically. I can add as many more bots as I want and that's essentially what Grockbot is. It allows you to create AI teammates. So, if you want to see any other tutorial or even
6:37how I've connected Jack the Messenger, let me know. I'll make a full rundown of workflows, whatever you guys want. Comment below what you need, give this video a thumbs up and subscribe for more Grockbot videos.
