0:00Most people are pretty familiar with getting booked calls using fancy landing pages. You just drive the meta traffic to the landing page, you collect the lead, and on the thank you page, you offer the calendar. Um but there are some disadvantages with this. Quality can be higher, but it's sometimes slower to set up. Uh it's not that simple to maintain, uh and uh the cost is sometimes more expensive because of the quality. But I it is possible to do it with lead forms as well, and it can be a great option because obviously lead form conversions are way cheaper on the platform. So you can end up with a situation where you do
0:33get the same quality bookings but with a lower cost because you're able to get that volume using lead forms. And the way you do it is you change this last step of the lead form to actually direct people to the booking page. And this is actually pretty simple to do. So you jump into Ads Manager, click the green create button,
0:52choose leads. Ad set budget, you can choose whichever you like. That's just the one I typically go with. And then on the conversion location, you have two options here. You've got multiple and single. The difference between this is that if you use multiple, obviously you can use um both website conversions and instant forms at the same time. So you can see here it's got a performance goal. Uh you can select lead or whatever it is on the
1:20website. And then they will compete um in terms of which one is cheapest. So usually that means the instant forms will be cheapest, so you might as well just choose instant forms anyway and not have to worry about optimizing the landing page for this campaign. So just click instant form. And then uh for performance goal, I tend to put maximize number of leads to begin with, um and then change to qualified leads later. So relaunch with uh maximize number of qualified leads, but I use maximize number of leads in the beginning to get as much data in as possible so I can signal back to meta
1:57who's good and who's bad. Uh otherwise, it's going to be just a little bit harder if it's trying to maximize the quality of those leads in the beginning. Okay, on the ad set level, just scroll down. Make sure you have the correct page selected because it creates the lead form attached to the Facebook
2:12page that you use. Go down to the form. Hopefully, it doesn't jump around too much. Click create form. Okay. So, when it comes to form type, I suggest you use more volume versus higher intent. And the difference is higher intent, it depends on the on the version of the form that your Meta Ads Manager is using, but there will be a step at the end where they have to either swipe um the button in order to submit, or there's a review step and they have to click and hold, or there's going to be something else. I think they're always testing what it
2:46means to be higher intent for that. Um what I find though is that doesn't really help the uh qualification of the leads, but this requires leads to verify their phone number with a one-time passcode. This does help. So, this makes them get a two uh a code to their uh phone number before they can submit. Um that really does help. However, you can actually select that even if you put on more volume because it will show
3:18it will show down here, require SMS verification, even after you've created a high volume form. So, just a tip on that one. Um select volume and then turn that 2FA SMS later. Uh flexible form delivery, make sure you turn that off, otherwise it will remove questions and change the order of them in your form, which messes it up. Okay. Now, this is the most important
3:42step. When um you're on the ending here, you want to choose go to website, and then scroll down. The website we want them to go to is your calendar. So, go ahead and find your calendar. Pop that in. And now we want to change the headline so they understand that they need to book. So, I tend to write something like
4:01step two of two. You want to format that correctly. Step two of two, uh book your call. Uh you can use your copywriting skills to enforce or encourage scarcity and urgency here in the description, which shows here. Um but the more important one is the headline here, step two of two, and this wording. So, I use two I use book call or I use choose a time. I haven't tested between these two option which ones perform better, but they just perform better than learn more or visit website,
4:37whatever it is. So, those are the two more most important pieces. Step two of two, book your call, choose a time. And then if you want, um go ahead and and expand this out to encourage them to book. Um if you have the latest version of the Lead Forms, they now have this option
4:56with book a time here. So, instead of directing them off page to a scheduling link on the website, you can go ahead and actually just include the website as uh the booking page as the last page or the submitted page of the form. Which is very cool. And you can see I have multiple options here. They have Calendly, HighLevel, HubSpot, and Custom. So, because I've used the cal.com, it's come in as custom. It's not one of these options. So, I don't get these benefits where it says um auto uh auto-filled contact info. So, if you use Calendly, HighLevel, or HubSpot, it's going to uh auto-fill the
5:31information they just put in the form as they go along. And um I'm not sure exactly how this works. Um but I believe if you put a Calendly Calendly form in here, it's not going to uh have this experience or it may be different. I'm not entirely sure. Um, but just a heads-up, that's the main difference as far as I understand between custom forms and Calendly high-level HubSpot is the autofill. Um, and if I'm correct, this bar here showing the website is not going to show for a Calendly high-level
6:09in HubSpot, but could be wrong. In any case, um, that is how you get the lead uh, lead forms to book calls. Now, the question is how do we manage the quality, um, in case of no-shows or spam leads, that kind of thing? So, the good news is that we also have the Meta Lead Center. So, when you use lead forms, any lead that submits will go to the Lead Center. So, to go there is pretty easy,
6:35business.facebook.com/latest/leads_center.
6:40You can also navigate there, um, going to the tools on all tools, and it should have Lead Center. Sometimes it doesn't. There we go, Lead Center. And then, um, you'll have all the new leads coming in here. And you can see there is some three uh, pre-made columns, qualified and converted. So, if you remember back on the uh, ad set level setting here, we can choose maximize number of qualified
7:12leads. So, what's interesting is you can see qualified is a pre-made field here. So, um, as you get the leads in, you can move them to qualified and converted as they're qualified and converted. But, this also helps you manage the the targeting or the types of leads that you attract in. So, for example, if you get leads who uh, book and show up, but don't close, move them to qualified to encourage Meta to get more of those leads. And that way, when you have enough data points, for example, you have 10, 20 qualified leads, you can go ahead and relaunch the campaign to maximize number of qualified
7:49leads because it has some data to understand who those qualified leads are. Um if they are spam leads, you can see here, you can drag it here to lost and not qualified. So, move the spam leads to not qualified and the lost leads obviously to lost. So, this means you've talked to a lead and they've said they're not interested. That's the difference between lost and not qualified. So, not qualified spam leads, lost are leads that have said no, but would otherwise be qualified. And
8:14converted are obviously converted. Uh and that's how you manage the lead quality through the lead center. Cool. So, that's it for getting bookings through instant forms. If you have any questions, please leave them below. Or if you'd like some help, I've got a link to a free uh 15-minute Q&A call with me uh down below. Otherwise, see you in the
