0:00One of the things that I've struggled with when it comes to personal finances is not actually making the money, but what to do with it after. Now, with the rise of Grokbot, I've been able to go through and use Grokbot to help me reach my financial goals, and I've been able to build a bot that I want to share with you today that might be able to help you as well. Now, full disclaimer, I am definitely not a financial advisor. All I am doing here is showing you how to build a bot that might be able to help you manage your finances, and you know what, I'll probably give this away in
0:31the link below. So, I'm going to take you through my bot called Oscar, which is my personal finance bot, and I'm going to take you through a live demo account of exactly what he does and how it's helping me reach my financial goals. So, without further ado, let's get into the video. So, up here on my screen here, you have the Oscar demo. That's right, I've built a demo cuz I don't want to leak my personal finances all over the internet, but I built a demo, and the reason why he's called Oscar is because I actually named all of my Grokbots by characters in The Office. So, my chief of staff is
1:05Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute is my sales guy, Jim is the community manager. I've got all of these here built around how I run my business, and I was thinking today I need to put something in place to finally help me get a grasp of my personal finances. And so, Oscar here has some example data that we're going to go through. Now, the first thing that he's doing is he's following what's called the 75-10-15 rule, which is 75% is all to do with the expenses, 10% is for an emergency fund, and 15% 15% is used for a investing, right? So, it's like 15% of it's going to go to investing. Super,
1:43super basic, but giving it to Grokbot, you can do some really cool use cases. So, we're going to ask here, "Hey Oscar, can you just give me a live demo of what you can do with the personal finances with the example data that I gave you. Now, if you're not using WhisperFlow, I'm not sponsored by them by any means, but WhisperFlow is amazing. It's really good, especially when you're shooting content like this, too. And so, Oscar's going to go there, and he's going to respond with the example data that I gave him. And so, you can see here, the sample data, status, sample monthly income, $3,000, currently spending
2:19current spending is also $3,000, so nothing remains for savings or investing. What he's done under the sample data, 75 10 and 15 rule, life and expenses would work out to being $2,250, the emergency fund would be 300, and investments would be $450. So, in progress, a possible fictional adjustment is essentials, um, 2,000 plus miscellaneous 250. That means reducing miscellaneous spending by 750 a month. This was the data that I gave him. Basically, we're spending this money on things I need to, but I don't
2:54know where the other $1,000 is going. And then, we're going to free up the required $300 and 450. So, what is blocked and needs me? What is my vacation budget? What is my emergency fund target? What is the debt interest rate and debt repayments? They're all unverified. The 6-month vacation can't be calculated responsibly without sample values. So, next, with fictional targets, I can build a 6-month weekly plan, debt payoff timeline, savings tracker, and spending alerts. Also, MRI is recurring revenue, not a guaranteed weekly deposit. For the live demo, give me a sample vacation budget, emergency fund, and debt interest rate. Okay, so let's go through and let's put that in
3:30place. So, for my vacation, I would like to have $5,000 because I'm taking my fiance away on a beautiful trip. The current debt that I have is around $3,000 at the moment, and the debt interest rate is 15%. We'll make it nice and big. So, we'll send that through to Oscar, and what Oscar's going to do now is calculate all of that data and give us a weekly plan. And you might be thinking, well, I can do that with Grok Chat or I
3:59can do that with my Claude account. Well, when you add it into your Grok bot, you can set up routines where it will start to check your emails, it will start to check your bank. You can now give access to your bank account details. With Grok, it is read-only and again, always make sure that you're careful with everything that you download on the internet. You want to make sure that that's all safe. But, this bot can kind of be your financial partner inside of your everyday life rather than trying to build something that helps your business, why don't fix your own personal finances, which is exactly why
4:30I've built this bot to help me with my personal finances as well. And so, the trip target 5,000 in 6 months, sample debt is 3,000 at 15% APR. So, done. Vacation needs about $833 a month. Paying the debt off in 6 months needs about 521 and adding $300 a month for emergencies is making the target
4:501,600. After reducing miscellaneous spending from 1,000 to 250, only 750 is available. The plan is short about $904 a month before investing. So, the full vacation, paying off the debt, emergency savings, and following the rule can't happen in 6 months on this sample income. For discussion, I'd prioritize the 15% debt, keep a small emergency contribution, pause investing temporarily, and fund the trip with the remainder. To keep the 6-month deadline, the fictional plan needs about $904 more
5:20income or equivalent to cut expenses. Awesome. And so, what this is going to do and how this is going to help you is if you are running a business or you are in debt or you are in any sort of any which way, however your personal finances are put in place, you can now install a bot just like this and I've
5:39actually linked it below. It's free. It's got nothing in there that you need to worry about. I've literally just shown you the account. I'm going to just give the Oscar sample one. You can go through and put your own data in. I don't get to see that. This is all to do with Space X AI, so complain to them if there's any issues. But basically, you can add this in. You can add in what you want to do, how you want to achieve it, how you need to make more money, where you can save costs. And you can ask Oscar, whatever you decide to name your
6:06personal finance bot, "How do I start to save more money?" Or "Where am I spending money?" Because not only can you connect into um your own data, your own personal expenses, but you can also as well ask it to go through your emails and see where you're spending extra money. Where are you losing money? If you are someone that does operate online and buys a lot of things online, you can see every receipt that comes through can be tracked and scanned daily to make sure that it's added into it. So, one of the hardest things, at least I found with finance, is actually tracking where my
6:39money is going and what is happening with that, right? And so now, my Oscar understands how much I'm spending, what my subscriptions are, everything that's going on in my life, and it's helping me put together my plan for where I want my finances to go. It's also helping me with my business because he's on top of me saying, "Hey, you are behind target this month. You need to hit this in order to achieve my long goal." And the biggest thing, at least what I found, is if I'm in front of the finances and I see it in front of me every single day, I'll actually hit my goal. And that's
7:12what I really like about Grokbot and putting this together. So, as I mentioned, I've linked Oscar down below. This is my first ever video, so I'd appreciate it if you gave me a subscribe and you liked the video if you genuinely did like it and you found it useful. And have fun adding this personal finance bot into your life. Um it's starting to change mine, and I hope it changes yours, too. Have a great day, and I'll
7:34see you in the next video.
