This is the full transcript of I Am Struggling To Find What GrokBot Can't Do (4 Use Cases), published on YouTube by Kacper Rutkiewicz | AI Made Simple. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.
0:00Every week, Grockbot shifts something new, and I keep trying to find what it can't do. So, this week, I tested it on four real jobs from my own life, running my phone apps on my iPhone, shopping for me, pulling my personal info off of the internet, and editing my actual videos. Honestly, I'm having a tough time finding the limit for Grockbot. If this is your first time here, my name is Casper. I'm the founder of Deeprooted AI. I use these tools to run my entire business, and I also build them out for paying clients. My goal for this video is simple. I want to run all four of
0:29these live so you can see what actually works. By the end, you'll know exactly how to set up each one, which bots you can steal from me today, and whether or not you should add these into your stack. So, get comfortable, grab some coffee, and let's hop straight into the video. All right, what you guys are looking at right here is my chief of staff bot. His name is Bot. I have the
0:47pumpkin icon for him. I love this idea. I hope they add more avatars like this because this little pumpkin guy is my absolute favorite. And all I asked my chief of staff to do was say, "Okay, sync my Google calendar and my iPhone calendar, add a reminder for me to pray before my meeting with Mike and to do it in the parking lot." And another reminder to text Mike with his number if I'm running late. Then tell me what you did in each app. Now, it's really easy to set this up because if you do it from your phone directly, Rockbot will then ask you for permission to access your
1:15calendar, as you guys can see, your contacts and your reminders, and then also later on you guys will see your location. Now, once I gave it access to all of this, it went into my Google calendar and it synced it to my iPhone calendar, as you guys can see. And then it added two iPhone reminders for 7:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. for the exact things that I asked for. And you already might
1:33be wondering, Casper, this is so simple. Why are you showing us this? It's because Grockot is slowly becoming your go-to app for essentially everything. I'm really struggling to find what it cannot do. And now I just go into my iPhone, go into my Grockbot app, and I could do multiple things just from this one app. and it has access to all of my stuff that I need. Anyways, I've been trying to be a much better fiance as well. So, I'm trying to find more restaurants to go to with my fiance. And right here, I asked Rockbot, I said, "Using my location, find three well-rated restaurants near me that take
2:02online reservations, and I can utilize my MX card for tomorrow night." And then it went ahead and looked at my location right here, saw that I was in Crown Point, Indiana, and then it went ahead and found those restaurants for me, and then also booked the reservation for me. So, we can see right here that these were the three restaurants that I grabbed. And then right away, I went ahead and went on Open Table and booked the actual reservation. And just like that, on Friday night, straight from Grockot, I have a reservation for me and my fiance. And as you guys can see, here's the confirmation with the
2:29picture, mind you. It says, "You're booked, Captain Culinary Misfits, Thursday, October 29th, at 7:00 p.m. So, I said Friday. I meant today, Thursday. So, I'm going to be having a good dinner tonight." You guys are getting a little sneak peek of the shopping feature that I want to show you guys in a little bit that just recently came out with the new Grockbot update. But let's stay focused on this use case. I want to make sure I give you prompts that you guys can actually take action on. So right here I say, "Set me up for tomorrow. Check my calendar and walk me through the day and
2:53flag any tight spots between meetings. Pull up the contact info for everyone that I'm actually meeting." And keep in mind, I would probably send this from my phone just so I can actually show you guys because I'm not actually recording my phone. I'm going to send this prompt off and then I will show you on my phone that it is actually working. And one thing I do want to point out is that if you activate something from your computer and your phone is not turned on, it will not actually work. So I suggest if you're doing anything with the Apple apps directly from Grockbot, just do it from your phone. It's so much
3:20easier and I would probably just use the voice mode. And so right here we get a quick brief of what we have tomorrow, Friday, October 30th. We have a meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and then from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with one of our clients. It says I have a full hour between the two meetings and nothing is booked after. I haven't finished setting up my calendar yet, but that's not the point. What I'm going to do now here from my phone, and you're going to see it pop up here in a second. I'm gonna say, "Okay, now add reminders to my reminders app and sync my Google
3:44calendar to the Apple calendar." So, I'm going to send that off. You guys see it synced directly on my computer. And now, it's going to add those reminders into my iPhone apps. And then, as you can see, both prep reminders are now in your reminders app. And there is often some confusion when you have both apps open because it doesn't know which one to actually work on. So, if you're only on your phone, it will work much smoother than if you're on your phone and computer. Anyways though, I don't know if you guys can see those, but all those reminders are now in my phone and my
4:08calendar is fully synced up. Not only that, I'm going to follow up with this prompt that says, "Use my location and find three restaurants near me that take online reservations for dinner tomorrow night. Give me the name, distance, and rating for each." And then I'm going to pick one and book a table for two at 700 p.m. tomorrow. I'm going to go ahead and send this off. It's going to give me those results and then I'm going to have my Grockbot go ahead and book a reservation for me. I forgot that I already had a dinner reservation for tomorrow night, so I had to change it to
4:31Saturday. What would I do without my Grockbot? Now, what's really cool is it's actually going through OpenT for these reservations. And you guys can see right here that I can click and open this computer. It's on its computer right now. Going to Open Table and going to book a reservation for us. And there we go. Just like that, all three Crown Point restaurants have a 7 p.m. table
4:47for two open on Saturday, October 31st. So, we have Copa Leo's, Culinary Misfits, and Fahrenheit 212. I'm going to go ahead and book a reservation for Culinary Misfits at 7 p.m. I've been there a ton, and it's fantastic food. Now, keep in mind, I'm just approving these prompts. Grockpot is going to go ahead and do all of this now. And while it's doing that, it's a perfect time for me to quickly hop into the new settings portal, and I'm going to show you guys all these kinds of settings. So, it switched up a little bit in the last update. So, now we have an individual permission setting, which we're going to
5:14get into a little bit later. We now have a vault that carries all of your email addresses, your login, any cards that you actually save in here. It can handle X money as well, which I've been utilizing a ton. You can connect a link to it. So, this is kind of your one vault for essentially allowing Grockbot to do anything payment related, allowing it to move money for you, allowing it to access certain emails, whatever the case may be. But you can have login, payments, contact information, and it's using this vault now to actually fill out the information on this open table reservation. And we also have this
5:44updated usage and billing portal and then the updates as well. I'm really going to be focusing on this permissions part and this computer part later in the video. There we go. We're fully booked. The only time that I really had to step in was when they sent a confirmation code to my phone and I just had to give them the actual code number so it could finish the reservation. But right here, Saturday, October 31st at 7:00 p.m. a reservation at Culinary Misfits. This is not actually true. I won't actually be there, but I just wanted to show you guys this working. And then it's also asking me if it wants to add it to my
6:12Google calendar and phone calendar. So, I would go ahead and say yes. And I believe eventually we're actually going to be able to use iMessage to directly access our Grockbot, which is going to be so cool. But that was just one message from my phone and tomorrow's already handled. Now let's go ahead and see if my Grockbot can spend my money responsibly. Grockbot can actually shop for you now. So it finds the products, shows you cards with the price and the store, and actually can check out for you. But XAI says two different things about paying. So the docs actually say a saved card fills in at checkout without
6:42asking you each time. The change log that I showed you guys in the beginning of the video says you'll approve every purchase. That's the one I want to go with. So, I'm going to make two real buys and find out exactly which one is true. Now, just to clarify where you can actually put your cards, this is again in the vault. So, we're going to go down here to the bottom left, click on settings, go to the vault right here, and then go to the payments tab. Now, in the payments tab, you can connect link, which has all your other credit cards, whatever accounts that you've linked up
7:06there. You can add actual credit cards in there. So, I have my debit card in here. You can have X money in there as well. And then, if you wanted to, you can also connect Shop Pay. Just understand that once you actually connect these payment methods, every single bot can use them. Now you can actually protect yourself before you purchase anything, which is exactly what I would do. So go over here to permissions and now you have your auto review permissions. You have permissions where the bot always has to ask you before taking any action. So send money, publish content, or move money or mine, and we're going to add one here in a
7:33second. And then you can also add rules that are allow without asking. So they can just go ahead and complete without your permission. Now, what's really cool is your Grockbot actually has access to help you develop these rules now and can add them itself. So, what I'm going to do really quickly is add a rule that says spend money. So, it always has to ask me if it's going to spend money. I'm just going to add that rule there. So, now I'm even more protected than I originally would be. This auto review rule would already pretty much do that on its own, but just adding it as a
7:58backup is an even more important thing that I would do right now. Getting out of those settings, what we're going to do now is enter in this prompt, and I want to say, I want to test your shopping feature. Find me a monster truck pack with 12 cars for $50 or less. Total included shipping and tax delivered by next week. I'm going to go ahead and buy my nephew a little bit of a gift here. So, I'm going to say, "Show me three options as product cards with store price, shipping, delivery date,
8:21and rating along with some other things. And then at the bottom here, this is really important. Use my saved vault card. After the order, send the confirmation number and track it until it arrives." So, what's really cool is you could have Grockbot not only do the ordering, but also track the shipping for you, so you don't ever have to worry about it, and you'll know exactly where your package is at all times. So, let's go ahead and send this prompt off. Now, the first thing that Grock's going to do is actually go straight to its computer and go look for the best deals and exactly what I'm looking for. And right
8:46now, what it's doing, it's actually going through all the checkouts for me. So, you guys can see it working on its computer right here. Let's go ahead and click in. Right now, it's on Walmart. It's looking through. I'm not touching anything. As you guys can see, it says take control right here. So, I'm not even taking control, but it's going to go and put these all in its cart and then give me the rest of the cards that I can interact with myself. And as I sit here waiting for all these cards to pop up, I think to myself, when would I actually use this? And this is really
9:09just on the go when I'm doing any Christmas shopping, when I'm trying to buy gifts for people, and I have an idea and I'm like, "Oh, let's find the best price. Grockpot. Go do all the searching. Show me the best options." And then I just quickly order it from there. I don't need to go to the stores. I don't need to do any price searching
9:23myself. I just have my Grockbot do it. What's so crazy too is that it just fills out all these delivery address forms and everything like that because I already saved these contact forms, my delivery address, all of that in my vault, which I showed you earlier. And just like that, it brings up three options for me. So, one from Walmart, Wonder Toys, and Jam Toys. Really, the one that I like the most right here is the most expensive one, of course, the $44.99. I love the packaging that it comes in. And then it asked me, "For Walmart, I need you to sign in on my desktop once. Then I'd show you the
9:50exact total and payment card before anything is charged. Jam Toys is the safest fallback." So, I'm going to go ahead and do Walmart, then sign in and actually complete the purchase. Now that I've signed in, what I thought was really cool is that it went into my Walmart account and saw that I only had addresses in Florida and Illinois. So, it's adding my Crown Point address in there, and I don't have to do any of that. I believe my next click here will just be to authorize the payment, and we'll have our first item ordered. We're going to be ordering something else. So, stay tuned. And here we are. Here's the
10:16actual approval. So, we can prove that it will always authorize or ask you to authorize a payment. So right here you guys can see with a few things blurred out. It just says pay 4844. So I'm just going to go ahead and click on pay. And now the order is submitted. And I'm going to have these trucks probably in the next few days. And then because we added that rule earlier, here is another permission prompt saying allow bot to run a background task. I'm going to go ahead and click on allow. So there's kind of two approval prompts before you pay for anything, which I think is
10:42essential. The reason I think it's essential is because this can never automatically buy anything without letting me know first. A few technical difficulties. I actually had the wrong card saved on my Walmart account, so it wasn't going through. But here we go. Here is the order confirmed with the tracking order, the tracking number, everything that you need. And it's really easy to actually buy something with Grockbot. But I want to go ahead and buy one more thing. So, I want to test the shopping feature again. The only thing we changed here was we're actually going to be buying a laptop
11:06stand for my MacBook that's $40 or less. And you'll notice down here the prompt is a little bit different. It says, "Before you buy, show me the final total and the payment method you'll use. Don't use a saved vault card. use Shop Pay or a link on one-time card. Don't buy it until I say buy it. So, we're going to use a different payment method and I want to see if the actions or anything
11:24is a little bit different this time. I'll get back to you guys once the payment is actually made. In a similar fashion, we get our three cards. So, we have three options. The cheapest one is 37.49. I'm going to go ahead and probably go with the one that is most reviewed. So, we're going to go ahead and click on this one. And then you guys can see if I click into these, and I should have probably showed this earlier, it gives me information on everything, right? So, it creates a little page for these products. And I think that's actually really cool because I can go down here, look at all
11:48the about, look at all the information that I actually need. And this one right here is the one that I'm most interested in. So I would go ahead in silver and buy this now. What's that? What happens if I click buy now? So here it is. Buy the foldable aluminum laptop stand for desk. It just goes from there to right here on it. I'm taking the lamical stand to its final review page to get the exact shipping tax in total. And then it's going to use my link payment which has my business credit card on it to actually fulfill the purchase. And again, it seems that we're having some
12:13issues with this. So, it says it couldn't start the lamical checkout, the clicks tool safety check. So, it continues having to ask me to step in and actually fulfill these parts of the orders, which is kind of not the point at all. So, I'm going to go ahead and stop here. And hopefully in later updates, this gets fixed. And specifically when it comes to usage for the first two, I'm on the $200 a month plan. So, a little bit different than if you're on the $30 a month plan. So, I couldn't give you the best answer for that. I would just say be careful. The limits on Grockot are not very
12:40favorable. So, I've been testing this a ton on the $200 a month plan with the purchasing, with the app integrations on the iPhone, and I've only used about 8% of my weekly usage in the first two days of testing this out. And quite honestly, this feature could be really cool. What I would do after this is kind of figure out what websites it does not give me trouble with. I know with Amazon, for a fact, they block AI agents, so it's not as useful there. And that's exactly why I didn't show it because Amazon is pretty much where I buy everything. So, it's pretty unfortunate that Amazon
13:08decided to block that. But my advice to you guys, if you're going to be using Grockbot to do some of your guys' shopping, try and connect a card to link. I think that's the safest way of doing it. You could save a card in your vault as a backup, but go the link route. It's a lot easier to actually make purchases, and it's a lot more secure. This next use case uses two bots, and it's all about protecting your personal information. People search sites list your name, your address, your phone number, and anybody can really look you up. So, I wanted a bot to get me off of those. The first step is it
13:36searches those sites and finds any listings that match me. Next step is it files all the optouts one by one on its own. It never pays for anything and it never uploads my ID or anything like that. Step three is where it needs me. I approve every single opt out and it needs help with captas and things like that and sites that block any bots. I actually got this entire idea and stole these bots from X from a user called ALX. Both bots are named call list remover and privacy scrubber. And it is the easiest install and setup you could ever do. The first thing you're going to
14:06do is go ahead and click both of these links and then add them onto your Grockbot team. I already vetted them. I made sure they're safe. So you're all good to go here. Then inside of Grockbot once they're both getting set up, you guys can see that it says I'm call list remover. It's checking the official registry. Now it starts going and both of them do at the same time. This is privacy scrubber right here. I can go ahead and scroll up. But they literally just do everything for you and then they set up routines to check themselves and you can also do FTC complaints if spam
14:32callers keep calling you. So literally all I did was install these bots. I added all my Gmail accounts that I needed to add and then it literally went and cleared my name off everything. It went through websites like Spokio, White Pages, Binverified, Raideris. There's so many different websites that it went to and got my information off of there and I didn't have to do anything. The biggest one for me was this call list remover. I've been getting so many spam calls lately and I mean I haven't gotten one ever since I did this. So I don't know if it's working, if it's coincidence, but it walks you through
15:00the entire setup and if you're a beginner and this is one of the first use cases that you want to do, it couldn't be any easier. All you're doing is approving anything or connecting a few accounts. It does set up a few routines, but they do not run every single day. They actually run once a month or the beginning of every month or at the end of every month. So right here
15:16it says recheck true caller unlisting. So it's going to double check if it actually got me off that list. So, it's going to check that on October 31st. And then there's another recheck for the do not call registry because some of these take 48 to 72 hours to actually take your name off the list. So, once those are done, this will verify for me. So, I don't even have to worry about it. Same thing with privacy scrubber. This one
15:36added a monthly people search recheck. So, sometimes you'll just reappear on these lists and this bot's job is to go in and take you off them as soon as it sees you on there. The only information that it needed from me, it already had my date of birth, my email address, and my actual home address. And there was a few key points where it needed me. I mentioned them earlier with things like capture requests, but it was very easy nonetheless, and I would highly recommend these two, if any of them from
15:58the video, especially now in the AI age. Privacy and security are a huge thing that you need to be knowledgeable about. This genuinely couldn't have been easier, and I really feel a lot safer, and I'm definitely protected from these spam calls. But this last one is a bonus, especially if you make any kinds of content, and I'm really excited about it. For the last use case of the video, I want to introduce you guys to Hyperbot. It's a Grockbot that I built to edit my short form videos using Hyperframes. Step one, I hand it the clip straight from the camera. All I do
16:25is cut the silences myself in Caput. Step two, Grockbot then takes that clip and edits everything on my own computer. Hyperbot actually runs inside of my good friend Nate Herk's free Herkit kit on GitHub. I'm going to link it down below in the description. It transcribes the audio, cuts the silences if you haven't already, flags any mistakes that I made on my end, and waits for my okay. Then Grockbot writes the captions and the cards and the entire render happens for free on my computer. Then the last step is where it needs me. I approve any and
16:53all cuts. I approve any and all B-roll. And it does need a little bit of setup. So the first thing I'm going to do is show you the raw clip that I handed over to Hyperbot. So let's go ahead and watch this through. If you want to skip this part, it's about 40 seconds. Go ahead. One Grockbot routine can burn through your entire week of usage in a single day. That's straight from Grockbot's own documentations. An hourly schedule, a short interval, or a Slack trigger on a busy channel will do it. And you never know because your usage page doesn't break it down per bot. Do the math
17:21yourself. A routine every 15 minutes is 672 runs a week. Weekdays at 8 a.m. is just five. Here's the fix. Hop into your routines and audit every single one. Pause what you don't need. Move the rest to fixed times and narrow your Slack triggers down to one quiet channel. A bonus tip I found from another user, and I use it myself, put a check first line at the top of every routine you run. If nothing changed since last time, it stops. Why redo work that doesn't need redoing? Save this before your next routine runs. Awesome. And then you guys can see inside of my Grockbot, here is
17:52another video. Let's check out the fully edited version. You guys saw the full head that I just did the silences. This is the final result using this Grockbot. One Grockbot routine can burn through your entire week of usage in a single day. That's straight from Grockbot's own documentations. An hourly schedule, a short interval, or a Slack trigger on a busy channel will do it. And you never know because your usage page doesn't break it down per bot. Do the math yourself. A routine every 15 minutes is 672 runs a week. Weekdays at 8 a.m. is just five. Here's the fix. Hop into your
18:24routines and audit every single one. Pause what you don't need. Move the rest to fixed times and narrow your Slack triggers down to one quiet channel. A bonus tip I found from another user, and I use it myself. Put a check first line at the top of every routine you run. If nothing changed since last time, it stops. Why redo work that doesn't need redoing? Save this before your next routine runs. And that's just pretty crazy to me because that was like one prompt. Obviously, I'm still building this bot out. You guys won't be able to have access to it. I'm going to do a full deep dive video coming up very soon
18:54once I fine-tune this a little bit and I'm ready to hand it off. But it is just insane to me that I could just record one clip that you guys saw earlier, the raw version, and then get a result that's like this. And yes, I plan on sharing this with you guys. Just right now, I feel like for a $30 plan, or if you're not on the $200 plan, it's not really worth your time because it absolutely eats your usage. So on the $200 plan, for example, I'm at 8% throughout the entire week so far. And about 7% of this, which on the $200 plan, you're about 50 times more usage
19:23than the base plan, right? So, I'm at 8% used and about 6% of all of this was generating videos and creating this bot. So, I just don't think it'd be that feasible on the $30 plan. So, right now, I'm working to make it more optimal for everyone. As you guys can see, this is one of the prompts that I would kick off for it. So, I would say new clip for you. I had a short test three, which is the clip that you guys just saw. These
19:43are the files that I gave it access to. Like I said, I've been working on it and tuning it and trying to fit it to my kind of brand style so it could replicate a ton of videos for me. So, this is the reel. what's different this time because this is the third iteration. And then it'll hand me things like this with, you know, little time sheets of transitions, B-roll, and I use key.AI to generate any B-roll assets that I need AI image generated or whatever the case may be. And it's just really cool to see it all kind of come together. And I can just shoot the
20:10prompt off and I can just walk away and go do whatever I want, right? So, this bot will be accessible to you guys very soon. Let me tune it up. Let me make a video about it. And then all of you will be able to do something very similar. At the moment, the only bottleneck of
20:23Hyperbot right now is the usage limits. And then also, it does take a little bit of time. This is not very quick, but it is autonomous, so you don't really have to sit there and do it yourself. If you've stuck with me up to this point, you now have four new jobs that you can try out with your Grockbot. Your chief of staff can set up your entire day and sync all of your messages on your iPhone just from one message. You also have the vault and the built-in shopping features where you can have your Grockbot shop for you. I gave you two privacy bots that can scrub all your information from
20:48the internet and kickstart your privacy journey. And then lastly, I gave you a teaser of Hyperbot. You guys can build this bot yourself. I highly encourage you to do so to make it fit your own style. But my version will be coming out very soon. If you guys can't tell, I'm having so much fun with all of these Grockbot use cases. It's getting better and better, and it really reminds me back in the Claw day when Enthropic was shipping new features to Claude Code like every single day. I know I threw a ton at you guys today, so if you got lost at any point of the video, don't
21:13worry at all. I always got you guys. I'm going to be dropping a full free resource guide and every link that I need to drop, it will be down below in the description for you guys so you can take action on anything that I showed you in today's video. All you guys need to do for the resource guide is click the first link in my description, join my free school community, AI made simple. There you'll get access to all the free resource guides that I've ever created, including the one from today's video. So, I hope to see some of you guys in there soon. As always, if you've
21:38gotten any value from this video, drop a like, hit that subscribe button. It definitely helps me out a ton. Turn those notification bells on so you never miss one of my videos. And leave a comment down below on some of your favorite bots. I want to hear about all the use cases that you guys use Grockbot for so I can make some future videos. I read every single comment. I respond to every comment. So, I'm super excited to see those. If you made it this far, thank you so much and I'll see you guys in the next one. God bless. Guys, hey there. If you're still here, that means
22:05you've made it to the end of the video. First of all, thank you so much. If you're new here, something I like to do at the end of all my videos is pray for you guys, my audience. I do this because I genuinely love you guys. I really appreciate your constant support. All your love in the comments about me spreading my faith, you guys joining me in prayer. It really makes my day. I also do this because I want to see you guys live fulfilled lives. I want to see you guys be courageous in every opportunity that the Lord presents to you. I want to see you guys be strong in
22:31your faith, be able to defend your faith, pray for other people, love other people. It's just there's so many things that I hope this accomplishes for you. Most importantly, I do this because I know that there's people out there who need to hear it.
