0:00All right, today I'm going to set up a real beginner workflow in Claude Desktop Live. We're going to connect to tools. We're going to connect to MCP servers, and I'm going to show you how to use skills to get content and recreate it and publish it so that you can have fresh things going out on your social channels for your business that will help you grow your audience, get more exposure for your products and services, [music] and hopefully get some leads in the

0:27door. This is going to be off the cuff. This is going to be a live build. I didn't plan this out beforehand. I have an idea of what I want to achieve. What I really want to do is break down throughout how I think, how I work, and how you can copy this exact same process yourself. So, let's get started. All right, if you're a beginner working with AI tools, probably the best place to be is in Claude Desktop. You have access to one of the smartest models in the world

0:56available within your subscription. That's Fable 5. to be using that today because I think it's such a powerful model. I probably don't need all that intelligence for what we're going to build today, but I like how it thinks. I want to use it. I want to create a video around me using Fable 5 and show you, you know, how smart it really is and how it takes a lot of the guesswork out of building, you know, workflows and use cases for your business. So, we're going to keep Fable 5 on and we're going to use co-work. Now, co-work allows me to work with files and get more done than

1:30just using normal chat. So, I have that selected and uh you know, if you're using Claude Desktop, give co-work a try. It's great. We'll see some of the functionality throughout as we build live together. So, I'm just going to start by typing out what my goal is here, okay? And what tools I have at my disposal and what I'm trying to do. So, we write a really great newsletter multiple times a week uh from thevibe marketer.com and we highlight AI workflows and things like that. We publish it on Beehiiv. You know, we have so much good content there that I feel like we're not really utilizing. So, I

2:06want to figure out how to get that Beehiiv content into a place where I can work with it and repurpose it and turn it into other assets that I can go and publish across social media. Now, figuring out how to do that would be a great way to get more subscribers, right? Like, "Hey, here's a breakdown or here's something that you know, you might like. If you want the full deep dive, sign up for the newsletter." That helps me to A, grow my audience and B, funnel them into the newsletter and create a loop here that helps me unlock some new growth. So, I'm just going to

2:38start again by describing my task. I have a Beehiiv newsletter where we publish great stuff for the vibe marketer.com and we aren't utilizing it enough for social media. I want to connect you with the Zapier MCP and I'll get into what that means because I'm able to integrate Beehiiv there. Now, I'm just going to sort of describe my whole thinking process here, too. Why the Zapier MCP? Why not try to figure out how to connect it directly within Claude? Well, it's because there is not a native Beehiiv connection or plugin within Claude desktop. And since we're in Claude desktop and we're focused on kind of a beginner use case here, I

3:30don't want to have to go and get my Beehiiv API key and paste it into the chat. I don't want to do that. I don't want to open up Claude code and stuff like that yet. We're just going to keep this nice and simple using tools where you don't have to know any kind of coding or coding agents or anything like that. So, no code workflows here getting the information and and the data into

3:51Co-work. So, we're going to use that. So, I want you to connect the Zapier MCP because I'm able to integrate Beehive there. Within the MCP, I'm going to also connect Buffer. Now, you've probably heard of Buffer. Buffer is a tool that allows you to authenticate into the social channels that you utilize, whether that's X, LinkedIn, Facebook, whatever, and you know, publish one

4:17piece of content to multiple channels. Now, I can integrate Buffer with the Zapier MCP as well, right where I'm going to do Beehive, and that's going to help us ultimately publish this content that we're going to repurpose and create from our newsletter in a way that Claude can do it and and access the tools to do so. So, I'm going to also connect Buffer. Now, there is one nuance that you have to know about for this workflow, and I'm going to go ahead and type it in there. I've kind of tested things like this and I already know about it, and this is going to save you

4:49some time and some headache because we are going to create some images with our social posts, and I want to make it very clear how exactly we're going to do that. So, Buffer requires a public link where an image is hosted. So, we're going to use Google Drive, which I do actually have connected to Claude natively. All right, so it can go and

5:12create a Google Drive folder for me. Then, I'm going to click that link. I'm going to make sure that the Google Drive folder is public. It'll give me the link. I'll click it. I'll open it. I'll set it to public. That way, Buffer is going to be able to pull that design asset down and attach it to the social post. Now, I'll also wrap all of this up into a skill file or a GitHub page, and we'll share this with the video so that these instructions are super super clear for you if that was a bit over your head or whatever. So, here we go. We will

5:45have to attach the design that we create with Claude design for the repurposed social post to a public link using Google Drive, which you should have access to. So, you will create a folder, give me the link, I'll open it, and set it to public. Last thing, and this is one of the benefits of Co-Work, I have some skills laying around

6:18on my computer. Within V2 skills, which you can go find, there is a content atomize. Content atomize is a skill that I've created and a lot of people have have used and benefited from that takes one piece of content, turns it into many that are optimized per platform. So, I'm going to just tell Fable, "Hey, it's laying around there somewhere." And this will help us see some of the benefit of Co-Work. Hopefully, it'll be able to go and grab it, use the skill here as well. So, that's the plan. Now, I'm

6:53going to go and create the Zapier MCP. And by the way, my prompting and communication style with AI, even if I am using something like Fable, I tend to over communicate, kind of lay out my entire train of thought, all the details I can think about, the nuances, things like that, because you're going to get better results that way. Any point that this could fail, Fable's going to recognize it and help us find a more elegant solution to what we're trying to achieve. So, I'm going to go and create the Zapier MCP, and I'll be back with the link. So, let's get started on whatever you think is the next best

7:31step.

7:41All right, so Fable is cooking on that and in the meantime, I'm going to go ahead and switch on over to Zapier where we're going to create our MCP server that's going to give CoWorker access to the tools that we want to use, which aren't available as native plugins or connections within Cloud Desktop. And you can actually find a ton of interesting tools within Zapier. You can connect to like over 9,000 different apps. You name it, they probably have it. Just get creative. They have a nice way to search for them as well. Creating an MCP server with the tools you want to use is a nice way to bundle tools

8:21together and make them portable. So, once I get these together and I get a link that I can go and utilize in CoWorker here. Here I am creating my new MCP server and I need to select the platform where I'm going to go and utilize this. I'm going to select Cloud here. All right, so and then we're going to add apps. So, the first one that I'm going to add here is Buffer and I have authenticated into Buffer here. I have an account. You can see that it's recognizing my personal account here. If you aren't authenticated into it, you can go and do that like when you select Buffer, it

9:00will allow you to to log in. It will pull the information. Very easy process to go ahead and do here. And then I wanted to add to my my publishing queue. Let's go ahead and see what other tools I need to select. Okay, add an item to your queue or send an update immediately

9:18to any of your Buffer channels. And I let AI like you've got all kinds of different things here like different fields that you know, Buffer can pull. I let AI decide what to do. I don't really worry about all of these. So, don't worry. Connect your account and then you can go from there. And we're going to see if this works. Um

9:39next is Beehiiv. And I don't know if I'm authenticated into Beehiiv or not. I'll go ahead and select all the tools. Let me just do Let me connect to a new account. All right, Beehiiv does need my API key. We will blur this part out, but if you need to find your Beehiiv API key, this will

10:06show you how to do it. And I'm also going to blur out um our data from our newsletter because that doesn't really need to be public. API, create new API key.

10:27All right, I've got a key. I'm going to copy it. Go back here.

10:36Connect.

10:42All right, so Buffer and Beehiiv are connected. I believe those were the only two tools that we needed to go ahead and add. And next we're going to go to connect. All right, so I'm going to add the Zapier MCP to my Cloud account. I'm just going to follow the uh Follow the steps here. Add the Cloud.

11:08We're going to connect.

11:14I'm going to allow.

11:23And it should be authenticated. All right, so um Yeah, no links or anything that I need to to get. Uh it's a OAuth level connection it looks like so I can just you know sign into Zapier through this button and should be good to go. All right, so we have our two tools connected took a couple minutes to authenticate

11:46into buffer and beehive. I just let AI select you know which things to to do here and then I connected directly to Claude it opened up a window very easy to do. So Zapier is now in Claude there and I'm going to switch back over and get going in Claude. One thing I'm going to do after I make a new connection here with Claude I'm going to close it and reopen it actually just to make sure it picks it up and again we are just doing this

12:20live together. So you see exactly how all this stuff works. All right, so getting back to Claude. So it's asking me a couple questions so connectors that could help. So even if you don't add all this detail again this is such a smart model it's going to recommend different connectors that could help you get what you want to get done. So let's connect Google Drive looks like I hadn't had that connection completed actually so I'm just going to

12:48OAuth into there. All right. There we go connected to drive now it can create that link for me. I'm sure that Fable would have recognized you know that step would have been necessary. So don't be scared don't be intimidated if you aren't sure of all the steps you know ask Fable ask Opus you know what's needed to make your workflow a reality go through this one first and you will discover a lot of ways to make it easier. So let's go ahead and just select LinkedIn for now we could do X and other channels but

13:22we're just going to going to go there. So how How social posts should each newsletter be atomized into? Um let's say three to five. All right. So, um knew the right questions to ask us, we clarified, and uh we're going to see what happens.

13:43And it looks like Zapier is connected. I'm curious if Fable is going to go and recognize that out of the gate and uh and see what I can do. So, I've scoped the pipeline and saved it to the project. While you set up the Zapier MCP, I hit two things I need from you to keep moving. V2 uh folder. Okay, I need to add a folder. The connector's installed, but toggled off uh for this chat. Enable Google Drive in this chat's connector settings. Looks like it's already enabled, but I'm just going to

14:14go ahead and do it again. Okay. All right. Um you should have Google Drive now. And also, the Zapier MCP was added via a connection, too.

14:36We created a nice little uh workflow plan here for us as an artifact. Another nice thing about Co-work is that as it creates outputs, uh we have them here, which is kind of nice to reference or to share uh or reuse. We're going to go ahead and allow uh Claude to do what it needs to do. And I'm going to actually have to track

15:05down the folder where the skills are.

15:22All right. So, in terms of the Zapier MCP, it gave me some feedback. So, I have some gaps to fix. Uh looks like it gave me the link to go and solve that. Yep. So, it opened right back up to where we initially set up our MCP server. Let's go ahead and get back there and see if we can fix what it mentioned. So, it said that we need to add some

15:47capabilities.

15:55And all it's letting me do is list all journeys in an automation. I only added a certain amount of tools. Okay. Uh Fable helped me identify a snag in my setup process for the MCP. Or actually, I'm going to go ahead and add re-add Beehive and re-add Buffer. I need to select all the tools here.

16:15All right. Uh I only had one selected. And I was kind of confused as to why that was. So, we're going to go ahead and add all the Beehive tools available to us. Uh now we have them uh there. I'm going to do the same to Buffer. All right. And this should be all the tools

16:35available in Buffer. Cool. All right. There we go. So, pro tip, make sure when you're integrating an app with your MCP server, you select the tools that you need or else uh your AI model won't be able to find the right things for the job. So, I went back and reconnected Beehive real quick. Thanks to uh my AI's help. It pointed out that I needed to go ahead and do that. All right. We're going to toggle this off and on again. All right. So, looking through the tools, got the skill. It did find the skill

17:11that we needed. Uh the Google Drive is connected. So, let's see how Fable recognizes our tools on the MCP server. Okay, so we are in the MCP section of Zapier. All that I've done is added two apps, Buffer and Beehive, and I've selected all the tools available within each of those apps. After I've done that, I'm going to hit connect, and this is how we're going to add Zapier to Claude. All right, let's see if our Zapier tools are

17:43showing up.

17:49So, I hit one little snag. I forgot to add the tools that Claude actually needed within Zapier. So, user error. Went ahead and fixed that. Reconnected our MCP server to Claude desktop, and we'll see if they show up now so that we can land the plane here.

18:13Okay, so using Zapier, that's a good sign. Here we are. It is connected to Beehive. It's going to pull the publications and find the right one. Yes. We are properly connected, and we are at work.

18:40All right, and just a reminder here, we're not using any code or anything like that. We're not in the terminal. That's why this is great for beginners. I did have to grab one thing, an API key from my Beehive account when I set up the tool within the Zapier MCP. That was the only code-like thing that I had to do. And right now, it's connected. It's pulling the information that that we need, and it's working without me needing to, you know, go into Codex or Claude code or you know, do anything complicated. Claude Desktop with Co-work is one of the most direct ways to get a

19:17workflow up and running easily if you're a beginner, if you have no experience, even if you're advanced. I mean, it offers some great tools and you know, you don't have to create code level solutions for every job, especially simple ones like this. All right, everything's in place. Let's do the dry run. Pull the latest issue, atomize into three to five LinkedIn posts, design the visuals, upload to drive and queue as buffer drafts. So, want to go with the latest issue or is there a specific one you'd like to start with? Um, go with an issue around AI visibility that talks about boringmarketing.com and the free AI visibility audit

20:03as a CTA. [snorts] So, um, newsflash, I did just launch a new product on boringmarketing.com and I would love for these LinkedIn posts to highlight that. So, let's see if Claude is smart enough to go and find those posts that are related to it, design my LinkedIn content around it and include a call to action for my lead magnet on the website, which is a free

20:32AI visibility audit for your company. So, what's happening right now is Fable is hard at work actually reading the post from Beehiive and it's also looking through a lot of other context here. So, it looked through any kind of memory that it might have about boringmarketing.com. It's even going into information about LinkedIn algorithm changes for July

21:012026. Again, I had a skill, but Fable uh have recognized that it should do some additional research for how to really optimize uh this post. So, I'm very interested to see what it comes up with. So, hopefully, we'll have something to look at pretty soon. And I'm pretty sure it's going to catch something that I didn't do yet. I didn't make the Google Drive folder public, so um it'll ask me to do that and it will provide the link, I'm sure, for me to go ahead and do so. I went ahead and jumped forward and made that Drive folder

21:41public. All right. So, we have some posts. Very cool. Um pulling right from information in the newsletter. Uh we talked about this exact stuff uh in the newsletter. So, post one, uh ChatGPT doesn't read your website. It doesn't care about your meta descriptions and won't crawl your optimized blog posts, your $50,000 redesign invisible. When someone asks

22:10ChatGPT, "What's the best blank tool?" It doesn't go to your homepage. It goes to directories, review platforms, listicles written by other people, Reddit threads from 6 months ago. Your beautiful website isn't even in the top 40 sources. AI reads who talks about you, not what you say about yourself. That's the shift most teams haven't made yet. This isn't SEO anymore. It's reputation arbitrage and right now the internet is asking about your competitors. Want to know exactly where you show up and where you don't across

22:38ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini? Run the free AI visibility audit. Cool. So, not bad, pretty good. I would uh you know, give it some feedback, probably on the voice to match it to the newsletter a little better, and perhaps use some of the uh brand voice and direct response skills that I have in the folder that I shared. But, I think these are great uh places to start. Um I think it captures it pretty well. It did research on, you know, what performs on LinkedIn. One thing that I would suggest also that I see on LinkedIn a lot, I'm sure you do,

23:15is hey, comment or whatever for access. So, that's a way to drive engagement. Hey, I'll run a free AI visibility audit if you comment free audit or free or audit or something like that. And then I could just manually DM or follow up with people there or figure out a way to let AI do that for me, but just some thinking there in terms of perhaps some other ways to go about it. But, in terms of a first go, pretty good. Definitely pulled from the information in the newsletter and this is a good place to

23:47start.

24:39Okay, so we have our images. They are in Google Drive. It took a while, actually a long while, because we were using Fable, but they are high quality. It designed it from scratch, did the research, wrote the headlines, all that good stuff, and they are there for us to see and publish into Buffer. Okay, so Fable was able to get these posts into Buffer,

25:04uploaded into the Google Drive folder. One thing I will say here about Claude and Co-work, Fable is overkill probably for what we're doing here and it's taking a long time for it to work through things. Now, the quality's good, the images are good, um it can obviously use the tools and stuff. However, I found myself uh you know, waiting quite a bit um in order to uh get these things uh published. So, my feedback would be, you know, try Sonic 5, try Opus 4.8 before defaulting to Fable. Again, I just wanted to play around with it. It's included in my subscription for a few more days. So,

25:46I'm going to go ahead and take a look at Buffer and see what we have here. Let's find out where that stands so we can see them uh here, um ready to go. Uh we can add them to the queue. Um let's see. I do not see the image attached. So, once the image is on them, add each PNG, which is a little bit confusing. So, I'm trying to find out why exactly that didn't work. I'll be back when I have an answer. All right, so ran into a little bug with Claude actually. Um it was unable to successfully upload the images into a Google Drive folder through its native

26:29connector. The images kept breaking. So, I just opened up the folder, dragged them in there, and now it can access them and attach them to the Buffer posts. Now, uh within Buffer, um yes, they are as drafts right now. Um but I can automate uh the publishing from the queue. Okay, we are all set. Our posts are done. Our posts are in Buffer, uh scheduled to be shipped out there uh to LinkedIn. Uh let me show you Buffer real quick, um just in case you don't believe me. Um here is the result here, and uh again, just to review the workflow, uh we set up an MCP

27:11server on Zapier. We connected Buffer and Beehive. We connected that Zapier MCP server to Claude desktop. Claude desktop can then use a model to interact with the tools within that MCP server. So, it pulled down our emails from Beehive. I used a skill that was on my desktop computer to take those issues and turn them into social posts. And then, uh we designed images using uh Claude design here within Co-work, and we threw those into a Google Drive folder. Turns

27:45out, I had to drag and drop them. Claude's connection had an issue doing that automatically. I'd have to spend some more time troubleshooting it to get it fully automated, but it's certainly possible. And then, uh Buffer uh the automation with Buffer pulls Google Drive, pulls the content here, gets these posts loaded up, and uh and ready to go to my account. Now, uh what I would do next is uh probably automate this. And uh you know, get it on a recurring task uh to pull new Beehive issues. And again, I would probably consider using a lower-cost model than Fable. You know, Opus or Sonnet would probably be fine uh

28:28for this type of workflow. Hopefully, this is helpful for you if you're a beginner. Heck, even if you're not and you're experienced with AI, maybe you picked up a few things on why you should give Co-work a try, or maybe why you should give MCP servers a try for some of your workflows or projects, no matter where you work, whether it's Claude code, desktop, GPT, whatever. So, you can see here that we can create schedule tasks here. You know, it'll wake up the Claude session, run the playbook, check Beehiiv, create the images, load them into Buffer. Really nice have that built into Claude, you know, once you sort of build this. So,

29:07building it is kind of the initial like uphill battle. Pretty easy again, nothing too crazy here, but once you get it to where you like it, set it on an automation and let it go. Uh you don't have to worry about it. Uh check in on the metrics, pull them from Buffer into Claude uh once a week, say, "Hey, how can we improve? What are you noticing? How's the engagement rate? Uh how many likes or whatever or shares or comments is it getting?" And uh you know, ask Claude to brainstorm on ways to improve or improve performance. And [snorts] uh there you have a marketing loop as well, which is pretty cool. So,

29:44with this video, I'm going to share um you know, I'll share the content atomizers skill. I'll also share the workflow plan. Uh hope you like it. Definitely check out the Zapier MCP. Uh get it into Claude, see how you like it. Um again, you can do a lot with it. 9,000 tools, a lot more than, you know, just Buffer and Beehiiv, but wanted to show you a solid example. Let me know what you think in the comments, what you'd like me to cover next for beginners who are looking to, you know, automate marketing, automate marketing workflows, things of that nature. Thanks for your time. Hope you enjoy it. Talk

30:17to you soon.
