0:00Um, try to imagine this. You post a video to YouTube, you go to sleep, and the next day you wake up and your video has over 300,000 views. It's a one out of 10 upload and it has those fireworks song. And you're super excited. You're thinking about getting monetized. You're thinking about making money. You're thinking about your future. And you're thinking about all the good stuff. Well, I know that feeling because of this video over here. I made it in 3 days and after that I posted it and it got over 100,000 views in the first 48 hours. And then it kept growing until it reached

0:301.7 million views. And as you can see from the screen, it also made $7,000. And yeah, it's a pretty good feeling. But before I was getting results like this, my videos were barely getting 1,000 views. Sometimes they were getting stuck literally at 70 views. And it feels like Let me explain and I'm sure you can relate to this. When you work for a few days on your video and you post it and the video gets stuck at 70 views, it literally feels like a Neanderthal takes a spear and shoves it right through your heart. That's how it

1:06feels. It hurts. You put a lot of effort in it. It doesn't grow. But I was making a lot of mistakes and I assume these are the mistakes you are making as well because I assume you clicked on this video because you're struggling to grow on YouTube. You're probably frustrated. You even hate YouTube a little bit. I know how it feels. It feels like the algorithm is literally laughing in your face. You almost want to punch the algorithm. I know that feeling. That's why in this video I want to help you out because lucky for me, I'm the type of person who doesn't give up easily. Like

1:40I can post a lot of videos that don't perform well and I'm still not going to quit. And because of this, I was able to learn what works. And because of this, I was able to build a few successful faceless channels and this channel you're watching right now. And in this video, I want to help you out and explain to you how to grow on YouTube because right now YouTube is changing and it's changing a lot and it keeps changing with all these AI features and

2:04policies and everything. [music] And the biggest mistake I see you make is the fact that you're using old advice to try to grow on YouTube. If you're going to use old advice to grow on YouTube, it's probably not going to work because this year YouTube has changed a lot. And so if you are one of those people whose videos are stuck at 30 views, 70 views, 200 views, 2,000 views, this video is for you. So, first of all, let's change the mindset. Let's reset the mind. Let's stop chasing viral videos. Let's stop chasing millions of views and instead, let's chase

2:39consistency. What you want from YouTube and what you want from your channel is to be able to post one video that gets 10,000 views and then you post another video that gets 10,000 views and you post another video that gets 20,000 views and you post another video that gets 8,000 views and you post another video that gets 15,000 views. You want that consistency because when you're able to build that consistency, you'll be able to build a channel that is monetized and will stay monetized and will generate passive income. That's the mindset you need to have. And the first thing you need to understand is that having subscribers

3:11doesn't mean you're going to get views. I have 200,000 subscribers and every single time I post a video, the video barely gets 1,000 views in the first few hours. And that's not because I have inactive subscribers. Every single channel experiences this because recently YouTube doesn't care about subscribers anymore. And that's because as I've said, YouTube completely changed. Instead, [music] it wants you to make one good video and YouTube treats that video you make as this unique individual thing, almost as if it's separated from your channel. Yes, it goes on your channel, more like a Think of your channel like a folder where you save all your videos, but

3:46YouTube usually analyzes one video and focuses on that one video. That is why you see YouTube channels who literally 30 uploads and all their uploads are literally stuck at 200 views, 1,000 views, 70 views, but then one random video has 1 million views. That's because the YouTube algorithm treats every single video individually. So, you can make 10 videos that get barely 1,000 views, and then if you make the right video, it can literally get 1 million views. And you can see many channels have this pattern. And what does this tell us? Well, it tells us that YouTube only cares about one video. So, your job is to focus on one single video. Instead

4:21of trying to collect subscribers, instead of trying to grow your channel, just focus on one video. What does that mean? Well, it means to literally put all your attention and effort and energy into one video. But why is YouTube like this nowadays? Why doesn't YouTube care about your channel and about your subscribers? Well, here's the thing. First of all, you need to understand what YouTube wants. What YouTube wants [music] is for viewers to stay as long as possible on the platform. So, keep that in mind. YouTube's goal is to keep viewers on the platform for as long as possible. Why? Because if YouTube keeps the viewers on the platform for as long

4:52as possible, that means viewers watch more ads. And if viewers watch more ads, YouTube makes more money. But what does this have to do with your channel and subscribers? Why doesn't YouTube care about them anymore? How does this help YouTube reach their goal of keeping viewers longer on the platform? Well, here's the thing. Basically, before when YouTube cared about your channel and about your subscribers, most creators were getting views from their subscribers. You would post a video, the subscriber would get a notification, and then the subscriber would come and watch the video. But that meant creators can make shitty videos as well. Meaning that if there was a popular meme as I said,

5:27or if there was a popular trend, or if the creator wanted just to make an update, YouTube would send notifications to literally all the subscribers, and then the subscribers would come and watch that video. But what would happen was if a creator posted a shitty video, even if the subscriber was getting notified, and the subscriber actually went to watch the video, the subscriber usually exited YouTube after watching the video, and this was affecting YouTube because as I said, YouTube wants viewers to stay as long as possible on YouTube. So, what YouTube wants is for a creator to post a video that makes the viewer watch the entire video, but then

6:01also makes the viewer click on another video, and then on another video. YouTube wants to create that chain where the viewer just stays on the platform for as long as possible. And so, this old system where a lot of your views came for your subscribers was not working because basically, let's say a creator could upload like a really good video. The video went viral. That video made the creator a lot of subscribers, but then because the creator got a lot of subscribers from that good viral video, the creator then would be able to post multiple shittier videos, and subscribers would still come and watch them, but the retention on YouTube would

6:33drop. They would literally just come and watch one video, and then probably exit YouTube. So, this is why the old system didn't work. This is why the system where subscribers get notified, and then they come watch your video doesn't work. So, what YouTube had to do, YouTube had to create this new system, which is very similar to TikTok, where basically now YouTube treats every single video as one individual piece. So, now if you have 1 million subscribers, but you make a shitty video, your video will underperform. Subscribers are not going to get notified as they did before. Some of your subscribers are, and they will go and watch your video, but most of

7:07them are not. And the way it works basically nowadays, YouTube shows your video to a group of people, and if that group of people like your video enough, then YouTube will send your video to a bigger group of people. And if that group of people likes your video, then YouTube is going to send that video to a even larger group of people. And that's the system. But there's a problem with this. Basically, at first, when some of the people are watching your video, the first group of people, usually the that group is made of people who already know your channel. If you've been posting a couple of videos, that group of people

7:37already knows your channel. So, obviously that group is going to respond well. So, the first groups of people YouTube is testing your video out might click on your video simply because they've watched your videos before. But, as your video reaches more people, a lot of them have no idea who you are. So, now idea, the title, the thumbnail, and the video itself have to make them

7:58interested. So, just make a good video. But, what exactly is a good video? Well, for what we're talking about here, there are two things you need to focus on. First, people click Then, they watch. That's really where it starts, right? Clicking and then watching. So, you can make a good video, but if nobody clicks, they'll never see it. And you can make a great title and thumbnail, but if the video doesn't give people what they clicked for, if the video isn't engaging for the people,

8:27then they also leave. So, you need both. You need people to click, and you need people to watch. And it sounds easy, right? I mean, there's two things you have to do. But, it's actually pretty hard when you consider that there are millions of videos uploaded every single day to YouTube. Your single video, your single upload, is competing with millions of videos and millions of uploads made in that single day. It's a hard game. I'm not going to lie. Even I feel sometimes like a tiny fish in this huge ocean with sharks, with whales, and some other small fishes as well, but to get there where you're like a big shark

9:02in this ocean is not easy. You need a video editor, you need someone to help you with scripts, you need someone to help you with ideas, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. I'm doing it, and I'm doing it alone. I run a few faceless channels alone, and I run this channel alone. And it's working, and it changed my life. So, if I can do it, you should be able to do it as well. So, let me show you how to do it. I basically transformed YouTube into a video game in my mind, right? Because when you think about it, a lot of the things we do in

9:31real life are very similar to a video game. And a lot of things we have to do on YouTube are very similar to a video game. Now, the difference is that video games are structured. Video games have systems. When you play a video game, you know the character you're playing. You know the mission you need to complete, and you have a path to follow. So, in a video game, you create your own character. Maybe it's a magician, maybe it's a warrior. It doesn't matter. You know who you are and how you're going to play. If you're a magician, you know you're going to use spells, carry a wand, and wear certain

10:05clothes, right? You know that. And then you go ahead and start the game. You meet the first NPC, and they give you a quest that says, "Go kill 10 zombie." And okay, you go and kill 10 zombies. You complete a quest, and you get your rewards. You get experience points, you get money, whatever. And then you move

10:23on to the next quest. It's a system. It's easy to follow, and you can see that you're making progress. So, people who spend hours playing video games aren't necessarily lazy. They're willing to put in the work, because that's why they're playing. But in the game, they know what they're supposed to do, and that what they're doing is going to get feedback. But when you open YouTube, you have none of that. There's no system, there's no path to follow. Every single video you make starts on an empty blank white page, and you need to figure out what title to use, what thumbnail to how to write your video, how to speak in

10:57your video, how what footage to show in your video. Like there's no path to follow. Like, "Hey, use this footage 10 times. Hey, write this script like this." There's no quest. Nobody is giving you a quest to make this video. You have to make it on your own, and that's what's hard about YouTube, and that's what's hard about life, that there are no systems to follow. And what happens is that before you even make the video, you get frustrated, you get lost, you get sad, you get confused before you make the video, right? So, how can we fix this? Well, to fix this, we need to

11:28be able to build a system to follow, because once we have a system to follow, YouTube becomes like a video game. And that's what I did with YouTube. In my mind, I see it like a video game. And not only that, but I have this app over here that basically helps me organize my stuff. So, what I do, I go inside the app, I click over here where it says package video, and I start a new project. I can write my YouTube titles over here, so I have them organized. I can start writing my script, then I can use an AI assistant to help me improve

11:56the script. So, basically, this app helps you start your YouTube videos. So, I kind of know what I have to do when I want to make a new video. But, even if you have a path to follow, even if you manage to transform YouTube into a video game and create these systems, you still need to know how to make a good video, how to edit a good video because at the end of the day, YouTube is a video platform. Every single piece of content on YouTube is a video. I mean, yes, the title and the thumbnail it's what gets you to click, but the thing itself, the

12:24core, is the video. The video is the thing that lasts for 10 minutes, for 20 minutes, for 1 hour. It's a video platform. So, what you have to understand is that if you're bad at making videos, if you're bad at video editing, YouTube is not going to work for you. So, instead of trying to fix your titles, trying to fix your tags, your descriptions, your thumbnails, your channel, your whatever, you first need to learn how to edit videos because that's what YouTube is. And I I the reason I get so um fired up about this is because I see a lot of you, including you watching this video, complain about

12:53you don't know what thumbnail to make, you don't know what title to make, you don't know what what to make, but at the end of the day, I think you're focusing on the wrong things. The main thing you should focus is the video itself because YouTube is a video platform. Everyone comes on YouTube to watch videos. But, if you're struggling to record a better video, if you're struggling to edit your videos, if it takes you way too much time, or it feels too complicated, there's also another app I recommend using. It's called Golpo. Basically, how it works, you go to their dashboard, you create an account, or you log in with your Google

13:24account, and all you have to do is paste your script or just drag and drop your voice over, your MP3 with the voice over. You click over here, generate, and literally within minutes, you have an entire animation for YouTube. And it doesn't stop there. You actually have multiple styles to pick from, like educational style, which has a different style of animation, or a more cartoonish style, right? So, depending on your channel, depending on your niche, depending on what you talk about, you can use GoAnimate to create animations for your videos. Let's say you make documentaries about war. Well, you can use GoAnimate to generate the animations

14:02for your video. All you have to do is record your voice and add extra footage. But literally 90% of your footage will be created with GoAnimate. You can choose a different style, such as the editorial style. So, now when you click generate, it's going to generate animations that look more professional, like whiteboards. And I'm honestly really impressed by it. Not only that, but it can also generate the voice over for you. And you have multiple choices to choose from. And the cherry on top of this app is the fact that you can actually create your own style. So, if you want to create animations in a

14:32specific style, you can just add a photo reference, and then the next generation is going to look like that photo reference, which is amazing because you can create your own style of animation for your own channel. There's going to be a link down in the description where you can try GoAnimate for yourself. And I'm not just promoting GoAnimate simply because I'm promoting something and I'm sponsored. I'm promoting it because I'm literally using GoAnimate myself. As you can see on the screen, this video is from my channel that got over 80,000 views. And as you can see from the video, the animations inside this video were created with GoAnimate. So, as I

15:04said, if you want to use GoAnimate, there's going to be a link down in the description. Now you understand how the algorithm works. You understand that you need a system to follow because it makes things easier. And you know how to make videos look nicer. You use GoAnimate, and you make animations with a specific style for your channel. But even if you have all those things, your video can

15:24still get stuck below 1,000 views. Why? Well, because your video still needs to be interested to listen to. Because video is not just video, it's also audio. So, sure, you can have nice animations inside your video, but if the audio, if the script, if the story is boring, people are still going to leave even if your animations are nice. So, let me help you fix that as well. Let's go back to the video game from the beginning. In the beginning, I told you to think about YouTube like a video game, where you're the player and you have quests to complete. But, when someone clicks on your video, it's the

16:00other way around. Now, they're the player and you're like the NPC giving them the quests. So, your video basically has to work like a good game. Does that make sense? And the first thing a good game gives you is the tutorial. And this is basically your intro, your hook. And now, in a video

16:19game, a good tutorial is pretty short. It tells you what you need to do and how to do it. But, a bad tutorial inside a video game makes you read instructions for like 15 minutes and you still don't understand how the game works. And this is one of the mistakes you're probably doing. Your intros, your hooks, are boring, are long, and they don't tell the viewer why they should watch your video. So, think about your video as a game and the viewer as a player. The viewer comes to your video and wants to play the game. But, to play the game, they need a system to follow,

16:53which is really funny, right? Because I just started by telling you you need a system to follow, but believe it or not, the viewer also needs a system to follow. But, this time, you have the power to create that system for them, to create the game for them. And that's what a video is. That's what a script is. It's the video game the viewer is going to watch, it's going to play. And And how you create that system for the viewer. First, you give them the tutorial, basically your intro and hook in which you need to tell them why they should stay. And then you give them the

17:25first quest. But the biggest problem is that a lot of you watching, you give just one quest in your videos. Does that make sense? Like your video promises something and then it gives that something at the end. But that's not enough. I mean, tell me, are you going to play a video game with one single quest? No, you want to play a video game that has multiple quests. You take one quest that tells you to kill 10 zombies, you finish it, but then you take another

17:48quest that tells you to kill 10 witches. And then you kill 10 witches and you finish that quest. And then you take another quest that tells you to kill a boss. And you go ahead and kill that boss. And then you want another quest. That's why people play video games because there are a lot of quests to finish. And that's how your video should be as well. Your video should have multiple quests inside. How does that work? What does that mean? Well, they're basically the problems and solutions or the payoffs of your video. Let's say you make a cooking video and you promise that you're going to make pasta. So, the

18:17end goal of your video is to finish the pasta. But within the video, you want multiple goals, multiple problems, and multiples payoffs and solution. Because when someone plays a video game, they know there's an end. They know that they need to reach a specific level or they need to save the princess or whatever. But until they get there, there are multiple quests and multiple problems they need to solve. And that's exactly how your video should be. Now, if you want to learn how to turn your video into a video game for your viewers, you might want to watch this video right here because inside this video I'm going

18:48to teach you how to do storytelling and how to edit your video.
