0:00Anthropic just dropped Claude Duet, their brand new personal AI assistant, and I'm going to be honest, I am not too sure how I feel about it yet. I didn't get early access, but I did finally get access from the waitlist. So, in this video, I'm going to test it out live right here with you. I'm going to break down exactly how it works, show you some of the things that I really love about this, and some things that I do not like about it. And then, I'm going to give you my honest thoughts comparing this to Grok Bot, which I've been using every single day for the last 2 months to help

0:28me run my business, and it's been my favorite AI tool that I've probably ever used. So, without further ado, let's dive right in. All right. So, now, this is what we're going to see inside of our dot. When I click on our dot, there's a couple things you could see the different things it has access to. So, we have files and our documents, we have our mail, we have our calendar, our team chat, um payments. It looks like it can't make payments yet, but it we can actually add uh payment methods here, as well. So, basically, it says, "Hey Brock, welcome. Today's our first day working together. I'm going to help you

0:59stay on top of your work in your life. Every day, I'll get to know you a little bit better. Over time, I'll start spawning what you need before you ask." And that is the proactive part of this Claude Duet that they, you know, talked about in the release article. So, as you could notice, at the bottom right of my

1:13screen, we have this little voice icon. So, let me go ahead and test this out and see how we can actually speak with our Duet agent. Hey, what's up, Duet? How are you doing? Hey Brock, I'm doing great, thanks. How's the Claude Duet video going? It's going pretty well. Could you do me a favor real quickly? Uh I want to test out in the video. Um like, I basically want to see what's on

1:33my calendar over the next couple days. Could you pull from my calendar and let me know? Sure. Let me check your calendar. Today and Friday are wide open, Brock. On Saturday, you fly home. Lisbon to Washington at 12:20 p.m. Then, Washington to Dallas at 6:00 p.m. Perfect. Thank you so much. All right. So, that is the voice mode. It sounds really good, actually. It's a very quick. The latency is very quick. And then, I want to take a tour throughout the rest of the interface here. So, I'm going to come over to the little three dots right here. So, supposedly we could have different channels, and I'm going

2:06to break that down right now. So, as you can see right here, it says get focused with channels. Give each topic its own place for messages, tasks, and files. So, I guess this is a way for us to segment different parts of our life or our business um inside of Claude Duet, so that way it's not all inside of one persistent conversation, which I'd assume would then turn into a mess. So, right here it says everything. Let's go ahead and create a new channel. I'm going to call this one YouTube videos. And then for purpose, I'm just going to say everything YouTube video related. I could change the icon, so let's go ahead

2:39and maybe change this to a play button, change it to red, so that way it signa- signals that this is YouTube. I'm going to click on create. All right, here we go. We now have our channel, which is called YouTube videos. And this seems very similar to Slack actually um in terms of like having different channels. It has hashtag YouTube videos at the top of our screen, as you can see right here. And it's also prompting me and asking if I wanted to suggest tasks that it can do for me. So, I'm just going to click yes, and I'm curious to see what it's going to pull up in terms of what

3:08it can do for me. Okay, so package your next video title and thumbnail ideas, hook and ABC pics, etc. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to actually have it go check my analytics. So, I'm curious to see if it's able to pull from the back-end database inside of Superbase, where I basically store all of my pre-existing YouTube videos, as well as some of the ideas I have. So, I'm curious if it's going to be able to go and pull all this context from my previous Claude code conversations and

3:34tasks that I've ran. Now, this is pretty cool. It shows that it's working on it with this little spinning icon here. I can click on this, and then now it pulls this up right here. You can see everything that it's working on, all the tasks one by one. That's pretty cool. And then if I click on this tasks button at the bottom of my screen, We can also see all of our active tasks as well as our up next tasks as well. So, while it's still working on this task, I want to come over here and test this out where it says make on the bottom right of my

4:03screen. So, right here, it looks like this is all of the documents that I have. So, any of my artifacts that I've created, PDF documents, CSV files, all of my Claude docs, everything. So, for example, if I come here, I could look at the Claude duet script that I created for a short form video I was working on earlier. And I did this inside of Claude code actually, but I could see all of these little assets right here. So, for example, I could actually pull up all these different presentations that I've made with Claude presentations. So, this is pretty cool that we could access all this information. So, the main point

4:34here is that it's able to pull all this context from our previous Claude conversations in both Claude code, Claude chat, Claude co-work, basically the entire ecosystem and all of the information throughout my account. I can even come here and click on plus and I could go and generate any of these media types as well. So, let's say I want to create a dashboard. I could just come here and click dashboard and then simply just say So, I just said create a dashboard for my previous three short form videos and it's going to go and pull from Superbase where it's storing all this information um and it's going

5:04to generate this for me. So, I'm curious to see what the output is going to look like here. But so far, this experience is pretty intuitive and I'm enjoying it. All right, so if I go back to tasks, you could see where it says active, there is one task that is ready for review. So, I kind of like how it shows this checklist of things that need my attention as well

5:20as things that it's working on as well. So, if I click on active, it's going to pull this up. So, I have you had a big month, the last 28 days brought in 1.35 million views. Um really cool. So, the main point here is it's able to go and pull from the database that I set up inside of Claude code and that's really really cool and really neat. All right, so going back to that dashboard that we created, now inside of my agent right here, it shows this little icon. So, I'm going to click on shorts dashboard and it went ahead and created this for me. So, if I click

5:49on this, it's going to pull it up, and it shows me a visual breakdown, a visual layout of the last three shorts. So, it shows these little cards here with each video. It shows the amount of views. It's showing the likes and the engagement. I think that this looks really solid. The fact that I had Claude generate this for me automatically and

6:05it sent it to me in the chat. It's cool. It shows these little bars right here. I think this is a pretty intuitive way to interact with Claude via Claude Duet. And then now what I could do is I could always come over here and click on the make section, and I could always see these different like artifacts, I guess is what I'm going to call them, even though they're I'm not sure what Claude is wanting to call these. I guess they are artifacts. So, you could see all the artifacts right here, which is really cool. Any asset it generates, I'm able to see right here. And again, including

6:35previous ones from inside of Claude code or Claude previously up until this point. Now, one thing I wanted Claude Duet to be able to do is pull my email marketing stats from Drip, which is the app that I use in order to run my email marketing campaigns. So, for example, I want to be able to ask how my last email marketing campaign did right from my phone. But, the problem is if I come over to the connectors inside of Claude and search for Drip, there's no Drip connector. And as of right now, I'm not sure if there's any way to add connectors inside of Claude Duet itself right now, but it

7:08does use the same connectors that your Claude account has. So, we could go ahead and set it up on our computer. So, in order to get around this, I'm going to use the Zapier MCP, which basically lets Claude or any of your other AI agents connect to over 9,000 app connection. So, in order to do this, I'm going to come over to Zapier MCP, and if you want to use this, there will be a link in the description to use it yourself. Then, on the left-hand side, once I'm inside of my account, I'm going to click on MCP servers, which is where we set these up, and I'm going to click

7:39create server. Next, it's going to ask which AI tool we want to connect. So, you've got options like Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and even Grok Bot. So, I'm just going to click on Claude Code for this instance, and then I'm going to click on finish connecting. Then, all I need to do is copy this prompt, paste it back into Claude Code, and it's going to set up the entire thing for me. Now, while that's running, I'm going to come over to apps, which is where we pick the applications that we want Zapier to use, and I'm going to search for Drip. And as you can see

8:09right here, Drip has seven different tools that Claude can use. So, it can pull my stats and even do things like tag subscribers or add someone to a campaign. So, I'm just going to click on connect, sign into my Drip account, and then that is it. And it's pretty much just as easy to do this with any of the other apps that you use on a day-to-day basis. So, now if I come over to Claude Duet on my phone, I'm just going to ask it how my last email marketing campaign did. And I'm even going to ask it to generate a dashboard to visualize all this data for me as well. Cuz I'm going

8:38to come inside of here inside of my email marketing thread that I just created inside of Claude Duet, and I'm simply just going to say, "Hey, I want you to go and pull the details from my email marketing campaign for the last email that I sent. And I want you to actually turn this into a dashboard, and show me the output right here." Now again, we could always see the task right here. So, if I want to click on this, it's then going to bring us over to our task, and it shows exactly what it is what it's working on. And I could come over and click on tasks, and it's

9:04going to show that as well, along with all the tasks that are up next, which looks like we cleared all of those. All right, and just like that, about like a minute later, we now have this message here. It pulled up the statistics from our email marketing campaign in Drip via the Zapier MCP. If I click on this, it brings me to the dashboard that it created. All right, and just like that, we now have this dashboard with all the

9:25statistics pulled from our Drip account. Shows the open rate, shows the click-through rate, shows the unsubscribe rate, delivery rate, and even shows where the viewers or the readers dropped off. I think this is really cool. And again, this wouldn't have been possible if we didn't connect this to Drip via the Zapier MCP. All right, so now that we've actually tested Claude Duet, I want to compare it to my experience with Grok Bot. I've been using Grok Bot every single day, and it's been my favorite AI tool that I've probably ever used. So, first of all, what I really like about Grok Bot is that I can have multiple different AI

9:55agents that actually communicate with each other. For example, I have my main agent that I talk to most of the time, and it basically works with my other agents, like my invoice agent and my YouTube agent, so that way it has all the context from all of them. And I can have as many bots as I want, or just one main agent, so it's very simple and doesn't feel cluttered at all. I also think that the interface looks really cool and simple, like all the different

10:18colors for each of these different bots. And it's very beginner-friendly, which is why I've been recommending this tool for anyone. Now, on the Claude Duet side, one thing I really like is the make section, where I can see every artifact that it's generated, like my presentations and all of my different dashboards. And I think this is a big deal because Claude has been really good at building artifacts, and that's something that I haven't really seen inside of Grok Bot yet. I also really like the tasks section right here, because I can see what it's working on and what's up next at any given time. And this even includes

10:51things that I didn't tell it to do. So, for example, if I have an important email that comes in, it's going to see that and add it to the list of things that it needs to do for tomorrow. I really do think this is an interesting touch for this interface, and I think this could be a really cool experience the more I play around with it. Now, the channels are interesting, but I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. I do think that I prefer how Grok Bot does it with separate agents. I just think it's a cleaner experience. But again, I've only used this for a couple of hours, so

11:18maybe I just need to try it out a bit more before deciding. And the last thing I want to talk about is I've only used Claude Duet on my phone so far. So, I'm really interested to see how it works on the computer, because it's probably where I'm going to use it most of the time, unless I'm on the go. All right, so that is my first look at Claude Duet and comparing it to my experience with

11:36Grok Bot. I hope you enjoyed this video. As of right now, you can sign up for the wait list, but you do have to be in the US in order to get access to it. So, you can go ahead and sign up. There's a link in the description. And also, let me know in the comments if you're going to switch from Grok Bot to Claude Duet. I'm really interested to see what you guys are going to use. Anyways, thanks for staying till the end, and I'll see you

11:53in the next video. Cheers.
