0:00I've been hearing stories about people making millions of dollars by using videos like this which are completely AI generated. People are using these videos to sell physical products, digital products or even market SAS products. Now today anybody can easily create a product. You can now use AI to build anything really quickly. But they always miss the second part of the equation which is getting people to actually buy your products. Now this AI tool Arats solves this issue and people are making millions of dollars from it. And today I got Roma, the founder of Arcatz, to share the behind the scenes of what's working right now, including an app

0:33that's making a million dollars a month and how it's using AI to get users. And also, we're going to talk about how to use Arcats and Not a Banana to create these videos where you can now make the AI hold the product. And there's a certain way to do it. Now, this is going to be a super deep dive walkthrough, but by the end of this video, you'll know how to make money with AI avatars. And I'm really grateful for Roma who's spending the time today to walk us through screen sharing the entire way step by step. Hey Roma, welcome to the channel. So you are the founder of

1:01ARATS, a very successful app. I've had the chance to cover it many times on the channel, but for somebody who's hearing it for the first time, can you briefly tell us what your app does? Of course. Thanks for having me, Jason. So you know the UGC video ads where there is someone talking about a product a service sometimes they are showing the product sometimes they are just talking with a green screen effect and you can see the product in the background all of these UGC video ads are the type of videos every businesses use now to promote their business and it's very timeconuming to create these UGC ads

1:36because you need to find an actor brief them and explain them uh what's their product and you need to tell and what to say in the video. We created a platform where you can generate that using AI super quickly with the best level of quality on the market and with a lot of different uh types of videos like showing the product showing an app any type of video you can imagine. You can now do it with our our platform and it's used by all the best like uh marketing teams, businesses, service businesses, e-commerce, mobile apps. You have seen a lot of people use this tool in all kinds

2:09of ways because obviously you have access to the back end, right? Can you share with us what uh are people using this app for? What are some crazy case studies that you've seen work well with ARADS? Yeah, that's one of the things I love about building arads because marketing is such a fundamental piece of any business. So I I get to see very good businesses starting out or even established business use the platform to grow to significant revenue. And I think there are a couple of use cases that are very interesting at the moment. So the first one is probably creating a software any type of software and using

2:49AI avatars to advertise them because you know now with tools like Lovable you can build the software much faster than ever before. But then step two once you have built the software is actually to sell it to get people to use your product. And we see so many examples of teams doing that. There was this app for example a language learning app crushing it right now. So if you go to sensor tower all the data is public. You can look for learner the language learning app and you will see that this app um is doing a million in the last 30 days. So that's more than 10 million in annual

3:26recurring revenue and they were released like literally one year ago 12 months ago. And if you look at the ads that they are running because this is public data. You can also see the ads of any businesses on this website uh Facebook ads library uh you will see that all of the ads that they are running right now are AI generated. So this language learning app uh if you go to this platform called PP ads it's a it's a tool where you can see for every single app the monthly recurring revenue that they have but also the ads that they are running and you can sort the ads by

4:04impressions. So right here I sort the ads by which one had the most impressions and we can see that all of them are AI generated. So this one, the AI actor right here is a UGC creator from our platform that we can see in the platform. Um, this one as well and this one as well. Let's play one of these.

4:25My English not good. Do you mean my English is not good? Yeah, my English is not good. How uh how speak? You mean how can I speak? Yes. Yes. How can I speak? Use English every day. You can speak with your tutor. Uh I don't. He even does the shoulder thing. It matches the script. Yeah, it's insane. Like uh it's it's really really good. And uh

4:50yeah, 7 million impressions, 5 million. Yeah, that's a lot. Actually, that that's an estimation from PP, but PP assume that they spend like 13 to 50K in this one creative and they have like hundred of these like they have 400 creative like that. And so yeah, pretty impressive. The app is making what 500k per month according to this. 1 million per month on iOS and 500 per 100k on Android

5:17and this is monthly. Yeah, that's crazy. This is monthly according to PP ads. Anyways, and that's the beauty of AI by the way. These ads randomly happen to be in another language. Not only can you generate them uh in English, but you can also test your IDs in a lot of different geographies which logistically would have been really painful to do uh before AI. So I would say this is like one of the top use cases. The second one where I see people having a lot of success and this is Tik Tok shop. So you know in Tik Tok now you can basically be paid to

5:54promote other people's products. So you can take any product that is available on the Tik Tok shop affiliate platform, create Tik Tok videos, post them on Tik Tok without spending any money on ads. And if the video goes viral and you have attached your video to the product URL of the Tik Tok shop uh product that you are promoting, then you will get a commission on every single sales that's happening around this product. I see people all over the world uh making insane revenue with this approach. And you can also I I think find the data of these accounts like the revenue data of this account on this platform data

6:35online. But I can show you an example of that right here. Um so this account for example you can see that they made 1.4 million views on on this video. This AI actor is AI generated. This one is AI generated as well. And all of the videos that we see here are generated with AI. And they don't even have a product, a physical product to say. They just used one of the existing product of the Tik Tok shop affiliate platform and generated videos with our cats to promote this product organically uh on

7:06Tik Tok.

7:14So as you can see, it's in Spanish. uh Tik Tok shop is very popular actually uh in Latin America. I wouldn't tell if it's uh AI generated or not. It's so good. And like you said, a lot of people they focus on the big countries like the US, you know, UK, Australia, but there's a lot of opportunities in other countries as well

7:32that people normally don't think about. So, I think this is a good way to enter those markets. And I've seen a lot of people doing Tik Tok shop. They usually uh have to hold the product. So I think you have a really cool integration with Nano Banana that you can share with us later in how to make the AI avatar actually hold the product, right? So I think that'll be a really good uh use

7:53case for Tik Tok shop. Yeah, I can actually show you an example of that at some point if you want. Yeah, of course. For somebody who's a beginner, can you walk us through how to create a video on our ads? 100%. So on you can create all types of video uh from just talking avatars to videos where uh there is someone uh showing the product as as you said with nano banana you can do that like here's an example of that and like I think the quality is really really impressive. So you you combine nano banana with arcat technology uh to to to to do those

8:27product showcases where you can upload an image of your product. So here it was this cream. Choose an actor and even create your own actor and have the actor talk about the product. Okay. I did not expect this cream to be this good. It makes my skin feel so smooth and glowy. This is a really really powerful use case of the platform. So let me get you through the platform now and show you how you can uh generate a video with a UGC creator uh from the simplest type of videos where there is no product to show to a bit more complex styles where you can have much more control over the

9:06outcome. So first it start by writing your script uh right here and we have this button right here add emotions uh to the speech. What this will do is it will automatically you know add those uh elements to the script where you can describe the emotion you want for each part of the script. And this is very powerful because now instead of just like saying the script in a like natural tone, you will have the ability to add more emotion to make

9:35the video much more. True fact. Most people never stick with learning a new language. Why? Learning the language is boring. You see this like this like this mo this this noise she made in the middle of the video after the why. Uh it's very powerful because now you can like control those little details. Uh stick with learning a new language. Why

9:58learning the language is boring? Dualingo makes it 10 times more exciting. Yeah, this is really good because this was not available before, right? Yeah, it's pretty recent. This one is like it's in beta still. But uh when you're happy with the way the the script looks, you can just go ahead and select an actor. And we have this huge library of existing UGC actors to make it super

10:18simple for people to create videos. So you can really find all types of UGC creators here. You can select the gender to find the perfect actor for your needs. You can select the situation they are in. You want them to be in a car. Uh you will find dozens if not hundreds of actors in a car. And yeah, you can just

10:37go ahead and like find different styles. So, uh we have like people in a studio. For example, if you do want to do the the podcast style uh avatar, but if you want to do something that is less professional, maybe just someone in the gym, you can also find that you can control the accessories that they have right here. Uh the emotion even in the voice or even the skin tone if you want to target specific audiences. and you can just go ahead and select one or multiple actors. Uh, and that's one of the strengths of AI, you know, with video and with uh advertising, it's all

11:12about testing different things. And I always recommend like trying to to select multiple AI actors and just generate the script with multiple people. Yeah. And then when you are happy with it, you can just like uh click uh generate and you will get a video uh that looks uh like uh like this. For example, let me show you an example of

11:35one. Yeah, maybe like this one. I am AI generated, but I look real, right? Create me on arcads.ai AI and then you can download the video, edit it and um you know people will mostly remove the background, add something especially if you have an app or like uh a software. So if you look at that girl that you just showed us, the girl wearing the black tank top, are you able to let's say change her clothing color or maybe put her in a different setting? Are you able to do that? Yeah, that's a great question and that's why uh we use Nano

12:12Banana. So, okay, when you uh when you have an existing actor, you can do two things. Either you will take one of the actors that you like like you wanted to do here uh in our library and you can click here new version and what this will let you do is basically edit the actor as you say like changing the clothes and I did this already for example for this specific actor right here. I wanted to add a

12:36cosmonaut suit with this actor. Nana Banana just got released by Google and it is a new image generation. And then I wanted to do another one where he's like in the Indiana style talking to the camera. Nana Banana just got released by Google and it is a new image generation. And then here you go. You have like the same actor, this one right here in three different setups uh talking about

12:58whatever you want to be talking about. So you can do that by just changing our existing actors, but you can also go ahead and just create your own actor directly from a prompt. So, if you have a specific ID in mind, you want to do, I don't know, a 33 years old woman in a coffee shop and you want to generate someone who looks like that because you have maybe a coffee brand and you want to generate someone who looks like this, you can just type a very unique prompt like this and generate uh the right image. So, it's going to take a couple

13:35of seconds to generate the first image. And then the beauty of this is the the thing I just showed you before where you can put the same actor in different situations. You can also do that with the actors that you have created directly on the platform. Okay. And you can just edit your own uh AI

13:56actors. Yeah. So essentially you can create a separate account an Instagram account maybe full of this one actor with consistent character right exactly that's exactly what you can do and I actually would recommend that specifically for Tik Tok shop because you know when you do organic content on Tik Tok it's very important to do content that is pretty unique and if you use one of our existing actors in the library then by default since now we have so much traction it's going to be used by other people whether when you you you create your own actor from from a prompt right here. Um then obviously you will be the yeah exactly

14:35you will be the only ones to have access to them. And as you can see here when I clicked on this actor let's say that's the one I want to go with um I had the possibility to also add another image and have this AI actor hold the image or wear the the image. So, if it if it's a dress you want her to wear or if it's like a product, a physical product you want her to have, you can just do that um by adding new product right here. And that's what we did for this example here. We uploaded an image of this product and we combine

15:08it with the AI actor. Okay. Can you uh give us an example of the avatar that you just generated holding a product? Maybe you have a maybe a sample product on Google. Uh I actually I have uh an example here with this product. uh where the AI avatar is holding the product. So we can go to uh the library of existing actors and just select any of our AI avatar. So for example, let's uh maybe let's use which one? Let's use her. And so we want to use this avatar, but maybe she's like holding a beauty cream. And then I'm going just going to Google. Let's try

15:47with this one. It has an interesting like shape. So let's see if it keeps the shape consistency. Okay. So what I did here is I selected this AI actor and I wrote wrote a prompt where I said she is throwing the beauty cream to the camera in front of her face. And uh here you go like uh you you get a pretty good result here where she shows the product. And the the nice thing is uh you can also even control the way she will show it. So automatically we will offer you multiple versions. But um something you can do is like keep prompting to have her do something

16:30unique. Like let's say you want her to be touching her uh face a little bit while she shows the product with the other hand just to convey the idea that it's like a product for for the face. you can just prompt that and get the perfect image for for your ad. So then you can like describe what she will do while talking. So just talking about the product while showing it to the camera

16:58and then turn her into a talking actor. Um you will be able to select the voice that she will have this a actor and for that you can control obviously the gender. So we'll use female here the age. Uh so I would say she's like young and uh the language the accent because even English has multiple accent British, Australian etc. And you can

17:20find the perfect voice for your avatar. So you can just uh listen to a couple of them to find the ones you you like the most. You can even connect your 11 Labs account. So if you use 11 Labs already to create some voices that you clone that you really like, you can also connect them uh with our direct integration with the platform. And then in two minutes, your AI avatar will be ready. We can just watch it a little bit later. But as you can see, I already created a lot of them. I created this one right here holding the product. You

17:49can do a lot of very different stuff. You can even do these uh avatars where there is your logo in the background. So free. It's one of the top telecom companies in in France and they wanted to do this uh avatar where you can see the the logo of the company in the background with the neon style. So you can do creative stuff like that really you can prompt anything you want. And by the way if you already use some other AI models. So I think we have the best one

18:15for image generation by using nanobana. But um if you still want to generate your image somewhere else uh or if you just want to use the image of yourself uh to turn it into talking actor you can just upload an image here instead of prompting and typing the description of what you want the image to look like.

18:34Look. Yeah. That's so good man. after seeing like so many ad creatives, right? In your opinion, what typically makes a winning ad? Is it like the hook that you have or maybe the style of the video or maybe the avatar that is being used? What is your experience here? Yeah, and I know you talk a lot about content creation for the case of YouTube. I think the the same rules will apply to making video ads that will stand out. Um, so very much like YouTube videos, most people will just watch the first seconds of the video and then drop. So if you are able to make a hook, you

19:11know, so if you are able to make the first few seconds of the video very engaging, it's going to have a lot of impact. And there are actually a lot of ways you can do that. You can obviously do that with the script. So with what's the person is saying during the first seconds of the video. And here for the script what what I think is the most important is to use very impactful keywords in the first second of the video. Um if you are talking about technology talking about the very recent uh AI technology in the very first second of the video will have a lot of

19:43impact. So for example, writing in your script something like nano banana just got released is a very good way to hook people because if people are into technology and uh they are curious about the new stuff when they will hear that they will want to watch keep watching the video and that's why for example in this example here which was a video that I did to promote archads I started with just and that's a very good way to something

20:13the script. Yeah, exactly. Something trending. A lot of different stuff you can do, but that's a very good example. And the second thing is the hook, but visually, not the hook in terms of like what the person says, but in terms of like what the person looks like. And to do that, you can also iterate and do very creative prompts like this. So, for example, in this case right here, um if you see some guy talking in a Cosmonaut suit, that might trigger your attention a little bit more because you not you don't necessarily see this kind of stuff

20:44every day on your feet. Um so, making sure that you prompt to change the appearance of the person visually is something that also has a lot of impact. You can also control the gestures of the avatar. That's what I did here. Um you're looking at the camera. Did you know I'm not real? I think that's a super great idea. The other shortcut that I always think about is maybe going to Facebook ads library because over there you get a kind of a cheat sheet of what's working and what's not working, right? If you see an ad from a creator or company that's been running for let's say the last 5 years,

21:19it shows you that it's it is working, right? Otherwise, they won't be paying to keep it active. So, I think that's another way to look at this, right? Yeah. And there are a ton of tools online to spy and to even sometimes get the impressions. Facebook doesn't share the number of impressions of ads, but Tik Tok does. So, if you look at the impression of an ad on Tik Tok, it's a very good indicator of like is the ad working or not as well. Um, so yeah, using that as inspiration, you can do it manually. And by the way, you can also automate this part. Uh uh I mean I can

21:53show you some examples later as well if you want but um you can uh automate the process of uh actually um downloading the ads from your competitor's ads library and using that as inspiration. That was my next question actually. Romain uh you talk about uh gum loop automation on your Twitter account to automate some of these things. So for us who are non-technical people, can you explain to us like what those can do in simple terms and how will they actually

22:21save time? Yeah, 100%. So I'm going to share a couple of examples of that. Okay, so this one is a good example. Let me show this one. Marketers, they spend a lot of time on Reddit to find ideas for what people are looking for uh online. And we mentioned the Facebook ads library and I'm going to show you an example of that as well. But um I think Reddit is also a very good source of

22:46inspiration. So let's say you are selling a weight loss service or you have a weight loss app or uh on Tik Tok shop, a weight loss there. There are a lot of you know weight loss supplements on Tik Tok shop. Let's say you are doing that. the best quotes of actual people trying to lose weight will be on Reddit and people will be sharing deep thoughts about why it's important for them to lose weight. So this will help you come up with hook ideas that come from real people and come from actual real needs. Um so we use gumloop to create this automation where it will automatically go to any

23:30subreddit. You can like um put a niche for example. Uh it will collect the top questions people are asking asking in the subreddit. it will fit it to chat GPT automatically and then it will use chat GPT again to say something like okay those are the PE the questions most people ask in this subreddit or the thing people say in the subreddit let's create a script for direct response ad for my weight loss product inspired from this uh quotes and yeah this is one that is uh really really powerful I can also show you some examples where people just like uh automatically scribe the Facebook ads library using gum loop

24:18and uh feed that information to uh a Google sheet to come up with ideas. That's exactly what this AI agent does. Um we won't go into the details because it can get technical to to create these kind of agents but we actually um made some um tutorials so you can find them on my Twitter account. Uh we can also attach some to the YouTube video uh if you are interested. Um but what this one does is it will automatically go to any Facebook ad library uh that you provide them. It will look for the most recent ads in this ad library. Filter them by um time they have been running. As you

24:59said, if they have been running for a long time, it probably means they are working. It will send that to Chad GPT. FPT will uh refphrase them to promote your own product and then it will even send you the the scripts automatically uh either in Slack or to ours API to generate them automatically through the product so that you don't even have to approve them. So if you want to approve them, you can receive them in the Slack channel and then have a look and take the ones you like to generate the videos. Or if you just want to trust the algorithm and generate a lot of videos,

25:34um you can then just automatically generate them with our API. So when you do that with the API, um do you get to select the avatars that you want or do you pre-select the characters? How does that work? Yeah, exactly. you you will pre-seelelect the characters that you want, which I think is a good way to do it because because you are going to generate so many videos now if you don't like take

25:57time to review them. Yeah, you'll have a ton of content you can test and we all know that now the algorithm of Meta is better than any human at finding which creative is going to work. So, it will let you just test more stuff than any other competitors. And I guess for the people who are watching this video, um, you'll provide a resource where people can download this automation or get more information

26:19about how to set this up on Gum Loop. 100%. And I guess the other one was maybe a short tutorial on how to create prompts for nano banana, how to make the AI avatar hold the product. I think people would love that. And uh, I guess how much better do you think this tech is going to get? You know, cuz you are working on this actively, right? Are we just scratching the surface or do you think that's going to be uh something

26:41even crazier? I think there are there have been a lot of progress in the last 12 months. So if you think about like the AI avatars 12 months ago, it was mostly uh either you know those weird image animated where there was just movements in the mouse or um some educational videos where there was not a lot of

27:02emotion. Um, I think AI got much better at providing emotion in the movements in the details and also AI is giving you more and more control over what the AI will do. Now they can hold the product now they can do a gesture when when you speak when they speak. Um and the like at this pace the progress if if the progress continues at the same pace um pretty much in like u 12 months it's going to be impossible to distinguish AI video from uh like actual videos recording from a phone um and I wouldn't be surprised if like at least half of the content we consume in like

27:4450 12 to 15 months is AI generated right so yeah I think it's moving really really fast. Yeah, I know Archad is now your you guys are focusing on vertical videos, short form videos. Do you have any plans to do long form videos? Cuz that will be a brand new use case, right? Creating an entire YouTube channel maybe with this

28:05avatar. That's a use case I'm very interested about. Uh um I don't know yet um if actually for longer videos typing is better than talking. And I would love to have your opinion by the way on that. Um, you know, for short videos like you want to test a lot of different stuff. So for sure you want to be um doing those text based ads where you just type a script, gen select an action. You also want to test with a lot of different people. You want to generate different uh styles of hooks. Um, so it makes a lot of sense for YouTube. Um, for example, this video that we are doing it

28:46together now, probably it's easier to do by uh just like doing a call and talking about the features. Uh, I'm curious like for for you if there are some opportunities in the space and maybe someone in the audience can go and build it with maybe our own API. Uh, but I'm I'm very curious to to

29:04hear your thoughts on that. Yeah, I think there's some use cases that comes to mind. I know a lot of people that want to be on YouTube, but they don't want to be on camera for a number of different reasons. Maybe they want to talk about political stuff or cover controversial topics and they don't want to be the face of that

29:20channel, so they can use an AI avatar. Or maybe they want to create several tutorial channels across multiple niches. Then you would have one AI character for each channel or something like this. And there's this app called Hen that can actually do this for long form videos, but I feel like the quality is not there yet. And there's a lot of limitations in terms of the gestures that you can do, like you can't move your hands too much or you can't move your head in a certain way. Uh, and I feel like you guys do it better. So, definitely there's some use cases there

29:50for long form videos. 100%. Interesting. Yeah. So, if you guys build it, uh, if you build the the YouTube version of Alcats, just ping me. Uh, I want to invest. Absolutely. You'll be the first to know. Anyway, this has been great, man. Thanks for all your insights today and I hope we'll see you again soon. Awesome. Yeah. I think he was a mess,

30:10Jason.
