0:00Today I want to introduce you to Sam. He's running a multi-7figure e-commerce brand completely by himself out of Australia. On the surface, his email program is already pulling in some really solid numbers. When we took a look a little deeper, we found issues in his funnel that are costing him tens of thousands of dollars every single month. Auditing 7 to9 figure e-commerce retention programs is literally all I do all day every day. Running email and SMS is what my company has done to generate over $250 million for the over 300 e-commerce brands that we've worked with. So, in this video, I'm going to share Sam's Clavio completely and openly

0:28and run a live audit with him. We're going to go through everything from A to Z from list growth to the abandonment, welcome flows, and post-purchase flows to campaigns, creative segmentation, deliverability, everything. If you are a brand, this is going to be incredibly valuable because you can take these learnings and apply it to yourself. And if you are a marketer, this is going to be incredibly valuable because you're going to see how I audit accounts. This is one of the most valuable videos I can provide. So, I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback. And let's get straight to it. All righty. What's going on everybody? We have a juicy video

0:56today. Going to be doing a live audit of a very successful e-commerce brand, a replenishable brand located in Australia with Sam, the absolute man, uh the good-looking guy you see here on the screen. We're going to be doing a live audit. We're going to break down the account, uh overall funnel, what we're seeing in the funnel, and then we're going to go into Claio and just really tear everything apart, see what's going on the inside, and then walk through some highle tactics. I do audits like

1:17this. I do five to 10 every single week. This morning, I audited two nine figure brands. So, all I do all day, every day is I audit accounts. I audit email and I give the best practices um and share that with you guys. And so I get a lot of requests on yo like what's going on in these audits? People find this very uh very useful. So figured why not share it publicly. And so shout out to Mr. Sam here being willing to jump on and do this. And so just going to start off with Sam. Would you mind giving us a

1:41little bit of background on yourself? You look like a look like a young lad crushing at ecom. So give a little bit of background on yourself and then also a little bit on the store and then we'll get straight into the funnel and then the clavio stuff. But little bit of background about you and the store, of course. I'm 24. I started this business around 3, four years ago. Um,

1:58we sell topical pain relief products. Um, I broke I broke my back when I was younger and I was looking for natural ways to help and eventually found a few things that help like hemp oil. In Australia, there is a complete gap in the market. In America, I'm sure you know that there's CBD products

2:16everywhere, hemp products everywhere. But in Australia, there was nothing. So, I kind of saw that and realized there was a huge opportunity here and ran with it in a pretty good spot right now. So, hopefully we can get a bit bigger, but all hands on deck of course. There we go. Thank you for

2:32the context and congrats on the growth. It's been sweet. Sitting at around 300k a month Australian. That's a really really good spot. And uh you know, we'll walk through a little bit about the goals and kind of what we're shooting for. Just for background of everybody, like before I run through any sort of like Clavio audit, email, SMS, retention audit, like we got to know a little bit of context about the business kind of

2:50like where we're at, what are the goals. I'm going to ask just like a few things in terms of like where you're at and then we're going to go through the funnel. And so what has the growth been like over the past, you know, 12 to 24 months and what has been the strategies? Like has it just been, you know, meta ads driving towards like PDP pages and just scaling on meta? Could you walk me through a little bit about, you know, numbers wise, what the growth has been like and what have been those key levers over the past like two-ish years to get

3:14you to where you are now? So, mainly it's been meta ads. Um, but notably about 12 months ago now, we scaled to around 200k a month and realized our profit margins were basically diminishing to nothing. So, we pulled our meta ad spend back massively, focused a lot more on email grow um email marketing and have slowly scaled our meta ads back up to 300k a month,

3:36keeping around a 20% profit margin now. We'd like to stay around there as we scale basically. So, using email marketing has been great for that as you'd know. 100%. And so what has been has it been just you know using email primarily for conversion and to help decrease CAC or has that been mainly using email as like

3:55a LTV play? Kind of both. I mean you kind of nurturing your audience. You know we like to keep our customers in a kind of nice spot where we can get some reoccurring revenue in there. So it kind of makes up for that CAC. Uh we we remain profitable in our first order but it's always nice you know getting that LTV there as well. So, email has been great for us. We we have an older demographic as well, so email just grows

4:18for us. Sweet. And then what are the goals and the focuses over the next like 12 months? Is there any like specific thing where it's like, hey, I'm trying to double down on, you know, customer repeat purchase rate or like our focus right now is creatives like are there any like specific sort of like metrics or initiatives over the next 12 months that you think are the next unlock for

4:34you? I mean, of course, it's always making more creatives. I mean that's always the bottleneck I feel like for e-commerce. But um we've been looking a bit more into Google ads now. We just hired an agency there. So hoping to scale that a bit more. Just try to remain profitable, you know, just keep keep working, keep scaling the business and remain profitable is the main kind of focus for

4:55the next six 12 months. Cool. So nothing specific besides really focused on profitability. That's just like the main thing. Yeah, we have a new offer where we have like a free trial pack as well. Um which has been good for us. Uh we've hired a few sales people for that. Um just to call them up after the twoe period if they don't repurchase. That's the kind of main offer that we're running with

5:14right now. And yeah. Sweet. Well, thank you for the context. Kind of just like profitability. It looks like you're testing uh some offers as well. Last sort of question on context is as far as like team. So what's like the team structure? Is it kind of just like you you're running everything? Do you have like freelancers? Are you uh what's like the whole team structure and responsibilities right now? Uh right now we have me and my co-founder who own it 5050 and we have three fulfillment staff in our warehouse packing orders and a salesperson whose primary job is calling abandoned checkouts and abandoned carts and also the free trial pack um

5:51customers who don't purchase after the twoe period where we give them a unique discount. he'll ring them up and kind of talk them into how to use the products and why they haven't used that discount and then offer the discount again basically. Awesome. So, you're running email yourself. Is that how it's currently operating?

6:06Yeah. Cool. Awesome. Well, let's rock and roll. Let's get into it. Uh, so I'm going to just look at the website really quick. Gotcha. So, we have the main page here. And as far as like the product, quick question on the product. Is this a sort of like repeat sort of purchase or is this like something that you put every single day on your muscles? like how often do you apply it? Like what's the what talk me through the product a

6:27little bit. Our customers typically use it every day. Um morning, night, you know, people who are in chronic pain rely on it because it's not like a long-term fix, right? It's more of a shortterm that are in the moment. So, usually multiple times a day. Cool. And so, how often typically if somebody's doing that, how how much does this cover for them? Just this one

6:45product? Uh it might last them a month. Cool. Do you ever have you ever thought about running subscription? Yes, but we we did it for a little bit. We prefer to um incentivize a higher AOV order. So, we incentivize our three packs, six packs, and our bundles more because we want that money up front, right? So,

7:04that's worked for us, you know. Yeah, that's worked for us 100%. Have you I'd be really curious on that. Um because yes, that can help and you can definitely push AOV on subscription. like you see uh you know IM8 for example they push pretty much everybody towards their 90-day uh product right here on subscription and so I mean you look at the LTV cohorts like I'll pull up here so this is our analytics tool this is a mock brand these aren't like real numbers but this is what we use to track you know customer lifetime value and all that sort of stuff and so a lot of times you

7:32know if you go to like cohort LTV you could break down by product right here I'll go to like last 12 months right here um and we like to split you know based on subscription if somebody's an active subscriber or not, you can just track the cohorts and the amount the net revenue and typically, you know, people who subscribe on first purchase typically at month 12 they're worth at least double. So, usually it makes sense. Uh, but I'd be curious to curious about that. So, like for right here, for example, IM8, they do the 90-day supply and it's upfront it's like $230 and so they're still getting that upfront. It's

8:06the 90-day supply and then it's on subscription so they get a lot of those rebuilds. That's one thing that I would look at, but was just curious on it. And as far as like the the use of the product, um, and you know, customers and, you know, what the what the usage is like. Um, so that makes sense. I'd be curious about subscription. That's something I'd be interested in looking into. But, uh, let's talk through a little bit about the offers that you're running. So, on ads, I always like to look at meta. Where's our traffic going to? I saw mainly we're kind of just going to the homepage. Is that like in

8:35general what the funnel is directly to the homepage? Uh sometimes we can lead to our reviews page as well and also our product pages for the most part. Gotcha. Okay. I think majority is product pages and then some some ads are directly for um our reviews page which is kind of like a a good landing page social proof and then down the bottom it um has our products for sure. Awesome. And where's that like

9:03free trial pack? Where can I find that? That is if you go up the top trial pack right here and then fill out a little quiz because obviously we don't want everyone to get the free trial pack. So we want to have a little barrier to entry. Um just if you give it to everyone most of the time those people aren't going to purchase,

9:23right? Cool. Absolutely. And do you have any email I I guess we'll talk about email flows, but do you have email flow follow-ups for this? Uh yes. Yeah. Right on. Cool. And what's the traffic like into this? Do we get a good amount of people entering here? It looks like it. Yeah, it's a good amount. Cool beans. Awesome. Okay, so got a little bit of lay of the land, but most people What's like the percentage of people who buy like the onetime pack

9:48versus like this bundle pack? Uh, our three-pack is our most popular products. Cool. So, most people go for this three-pack right here. Yes. Beautiful. Awesome. All righty. Cool. Got a little bit of lay of the land on the website and the funnel. Perfect. Now, let's get to the email audit. So, this is going to be the juicy stuff. So, let's rock and roll. Do you know what your attribution settings are, by the way? I don't think I have access to be

10:13able to view the attribution settings. Three-day opens, three-day clicks. Yeah, I think so. Should be. Cool. Cool. So, for anybody wondering, the standard is kind of like fiveday open, fiveday clicks. That's like Clavio's like set. Uh, but like a lot of brands we talk to, you know, are like one day opens, one day clicks. Um, usually that's like the most accurate if you're looking at like last click. Um, so if you guys are on three-day open, three-day click, it's kind of like cutting that and into kind of like, um, a happy medium there. So, um, three-day open, three-day click, we're sitting at

10:42around 29 open as well. Sorry. So, it's 4 hour open, 3-day click. Yes. Gotcha. Cool. So, really just looking at clicks. Okay, great. Uh, so this number does seem pretty strong um and pretty solid. I like to look at this business review look and we can look at last 12 months. And then this is showing us our attributed revenue percentage over the different time periods of the brand. So we see a bigger push over here. So in general we're kind of around the uh we've been you know some months we'll jump to 35 and then 20 27. It looks like we sit kind of like mid20s most of the

11:16time. Then we can also go to message type and see the split here. This always gives me a good idea of kind of like where we're sitting. Um flows 60 to 80%. So we're a little bit heavy on flows compared to campaigns some of the time. Um, got it. Okay. So, this is just giving purely like what I'm doing like at the initial audits like stage like this is I'm pure context. Like I'm just getting pure context. Where's like the lay of the land? What are we looking like right here? Um, so looks like we're a little bit heavy on flows compared to campaigns and numbers at around like

11:4430-ish%. Gotcha. Okay, cool. The next one that I like to look at here is I added this card beforehand, uh, but the subscriber growth. So, I like to look at, you know, subscriber growth, where we at, new subscribers coming in compared to unsubs. If you don't see this inside your guys' Claio dashboard, you can just go to add card and then go to the list growth one, and then it's going to be this card right here. So, I always just like to look at, okay, are we growing our list compared to how many people we're getting unsubs? Because this is going to kind of influence if I

12:13want to send more, if I want to send less. And it looks like we're pretty damn strong here. Typically, I shoot for a 3x in new subs compared to exclusions. And so this gives you overall like the direction. It's not perfect looking at new subscribers and unsubs, but it usually gives us a good view. So it

12:29looks like we're in a good spot here. And so nothing in particular jumps out there. So perfect. That's lay of the land. A little bit of context there on kind of like where we're at. We're a little bit heavy on flows compared to campaigns. Okay. So the three parts that we're going to tackle here is we're going to go over list growth. We're going to go over the flows. Then we're going to go over campaigns. Uh, so I have this doc and for anybody wondering like what do we do like when we when I audit? Do I have some sort of like

12:54template whatnot that I'm filling out? No. With like general KPIs that I follow, no. Everything is kind of based on feel because I do I've done over a thousand audits at this point. And so I kind of just have my notes here and I know exactly what to look for. Um, so I'm just going to have our notes right here. Real quick, my team at WellCop has done over $250 million from email and SMS and we want to run an audit of your account. I can guarantee that we will find at least five things that you could fix and clean tomorrow to start making more money directly off the call. We

13:22actively work with over 100 different brands, some of the fastest growing ones that you probably know like Armra, Newtonic, Cage, Portland Leather Goods, and Happy Dad. So, if you want a free review on your account and explore potentially what it might be like working with us and the expected ROI from our services, then click the link below in our description and we look forward to chatting to you. Back to the

13:39video. Let's start off with list growth. So right now, let's go to the sign up form right here. And we could see the submit rate on mobile is 7.1%. So in general, that's okay. Definitely if a brand is under 5%. That gets scary. But it varies brand to brand. There's some brands that I work with that I've tested the [ __ ] out of their forums, I can't get it past 5%. There's some brands where we easily, no matter what, are at like 15%. So it varies a bit brand to brand based on market offer that you're running, then also the uh traffic level. And so it's going to

14:09depend a little bit, but 7% in general looks okay, but everything's going to depend on the form style. So, uh, looks like we're running a mystery discount quiz right here. What sort of pop-up forms have you tried in the past? And what success have you had with like popups? We had the generic 10% off at the start. We had then we moved into the $10 off and we just found that the mystery discount worked. We had a little bit of a submit rate. Um, it was sitting around that 12% but it has dropped so I

14:37wouldn't mind upgrading that soon. Gotcha. Okay. So, I'm just going to pull this up here. So, for anybody wondering, so this is the So, mystery discount typically crushes. We see like right here. This is one of the first things I look at is the offer. That's the biggest impact on performance is offer. What are we running here? So, I always like to do, you know, 10% off versus dollar off versus mystery discount versus a lot of times I just go with the acquisition offer that brands are highlighting. So, even what I would consider for you. So, we're already giving 15% off right here on this. I would consider even upgrading

15:11our pop-up form offer and then our welcome flow offer and just highlight this of if you don't want to give away extra margins, you could say, "Hey, 15% off the threeack." If you want to give an extra, you know, $10 off or 10 percent, just add up whatever that amount is. So really what you're getting if somebody buys this, did you say the offer is $10 off after the mystery or

15:3010%? Yes, $10. Perfect. So if we take 15% and then we also add $10 off and then also you get free shipping as well once you pass this threshold. Like that's a really banger offer that we can just reframe. And so it's like I' I I I maybe wouldn't adjust this in the signup form at least in the welcome flow is like, hey, we're giving whatever 50% off plus $10 off, whatever that dollar amount is. That looks like cuz 15% of like 140 or 160, whatever it's supposed to be. I think probably you're giving away like $30 off or something. Is that Does that sound about

16:03right? Yeah. Around about Yeah. So it would be $29. Yeah. I'd just [ __ ] rip that as the offer. That sounds a lot more sexy. And that's really going to improve our conversion rates both on the pop-up form and then also in our welcome flow because a lot of people they just they they're not really seeing that and that's usually a big jump that we're able to do for

16:21brands without giving up extra margin. So I would consider doing that and then you can also have you know a separate offer for like the single one. But typically like if you want to push this high OV I would heavily consider doing an offer of you know $30 off with like this code. And so it's like an extra so it's 15% off plus the extra $10 off. I would really consider doing that. I

16:40think that's going to convert better. Plus free shipping. Um, that's probably a juicy one that I would consider doing. That's one thing on offers that I would definitely like to test. Like this is this is a brand. This is an example that I always like to show. This is like a eight-part offer test that we did for an eight figureure brand. We got it down to the final four and the best performer just crushed the $25 offers like free gift, mystery discount, 10% off. This is a high AOV brand by the way. Um, and we were able to, you know, the welcome flow and sequence 33k to 210K. So offer

17:07highlighting our offers is the biggest lever and it's usually one of the first things we do with brands right off the bat. So that's what I would consider doing. Mystery discount might just outperform it. We just have to test it in particular with these quiz forms. So we have this quiz form, we have the image. First thing I'm going to look at

17:22the time delay. 8 seconds is a bit long. I would consider doing like 2 to 4 seconds because we're going to get more impressions that way. Um but every brand's a little bit different because you know the quicker you make it the more impressions you're going to get. Um so that's the first thing. The next thing is I would uncclick this click outside form to close. If somebody clicks outside your screen at all, like in this area or below, whatever, it's going to automatically close the form and you're going to get people who unnecessarily close out. So, that's one thing. I would make sure we have some

17:51sort of close option on this first step just so people can close out if they want. We're kind of overwhelming here. I like to stack. I would try this template right here. But, I love the quiz. Quizzes are great for anybody wondering. Quiz crushes. Usually switching to quiz we get much increased performance. This is 4.6 to 11%. So we really like to do that and then ask the questions exactly

18:11like what you're doing. Amazing. Beautiful. I would consider doing three options and then an other um or all benefits. And I would stack it vertically especially if your people are older. This is going to be a little bit harder to read and a little bit packed. So I would ideally like to do like this is built in Clavio. I would do something like this. Um, and I would make this last one just like general benefits. And then have that and then have a no thanks, I'll pay full price button. Or you can have the X in the corner. I see you uh hide it. But I just put this

18:42right here. You can also have the X if you want to. But that's what I would do on this first step. Clean it up. I would test including this image versus excluding. In most tests, not including an image performs better. Um, but sometimes it's different. Sometimes including the image performs better. I would probably remove it. Make it dead simple. That's why like for this brand it's just like this. And so that's a super simple test um and setup that you could do. Um so we have the mystery discount stack everything test mystery discount versus the increased offer that we do. I'd highlight that. And then the

19:10email optin. We have the claim your mystery discount. I would get rid of this text right here. Uh just because it's really kind of unnecessary. Um and this is good. I'd probably make this bigger. It's pretty small just so just so people don't get pissed. Um and then we should be good to go. I like how we send people to the inbox. I like to send people to the inbox for in for boosting deliverability. Um, get people to open that email. Personally, I like it, especially if you're in a rough in a tougher spot with deliverability, but generally I think you guys are okay. So, that's what I do with the form. I would

19:37probably like if I were to recreate this form, I would literally copy this template bar for bar. Um, you've got a mystery discount to claim. Tell us what you're looking for. Plain background. This is typically the best performer to start off. I would do the mystery discount. So, my first test, I would set this up. Um, and after this, I can duplicate this template into your account. I would do this plain test mystery discount versus some sort of reframed offer is the first thing that I would do. Um, and I think that absolutely we could definitely get this to at least 10%. And that right there

20:07doesn't sound like a massive jump. 7% to 10%. But oh brother, that is 40% increase in people opting into the email list and 40% increase in the amount of people entering into this welcome sequence. That is a massive, massive lever. Pop-up forms are obviously they're my favorite thing. uh like like imagine we had 40% more people entering this flow. We can probably get we'll get a lot more leads off of our ads that we're spending a [ __ ] ton on. That's

20:30what I'm thinking of in the pop-up form. Our target here would be 10 to 12%. But also, we're going to be getting a lot more impressions if we change the trigger to 2 to 4 seconds. And so, we're going to get more people and we're going to get more views because we're triggering the form sooner. So, that's like where my mind goes with all of the popups and what I would be putting inside of an audit as I'm writing this out. And I I'll write this out after and show to everybody as well. Uh like some of my main notes. I lowkey like I might just fade this and not even fill this

20:58out on this video. But those are my those are my main notes. Do you have any questions or anything you tried there? Anything that doesn't make sense or you don't agree with on that. No. No. I agree. I'm going to split test that tomorrow. [ __ ] yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Speed, baby. Speed. Hell yeah.

21:14Okay. Perfect. So that is list growth. I'm definitely confident that you can get a 40% increase in your list growth um just based off of those changes which is very very juicy. So for everybody watching this, this is my private community inside of here uh inside the classroom email templates and resources. You have access to all those templates. I upload our 15 like creative best performing templates like full emails, the best emails of all time. This doc as well that you can have which is inside

21:39the community campaign templates. There's a [ __ ] ton and they're also split by niche. Then flow templates every single flow templatized. So, for anybody watching this and wants to join, that's in here. You also get two weekly live calls every single week and I post an exclusive insight in here. And the biggest thing that people love, which uh

21:54Sam, I'll give you access to all this. I'll just add you in here for free so you can have it. But the biggest thing is the custom claude skill for writing all of the emails. This is literally what we use internally. So, it's exclusive to the community. Custom Claude skill for writing all the copy, all the strategies and everything. You

22:08onboard your brand. It's [ __ ] sick. So, this is how we come up with everything. And then I just send it to our designers. But when I do design, I just do the section templates and it is my my favorite. So, I'll give you access to that. So, now let's go into the flows. Typically, what I like to do, I like to go straight from pop-up form to welcome series and then I'll look at the rest of the flows and kind of give a general overview. Uh, so let's just go

22:28into the welcome series uh right here. So, it looks like our opens are actually a bit low for a welcome email number one where we send people to email. So, interesting. That seems a bit low. Typically, like for something like this, we want 60% plus opens, especially if we're telling people in the pop-up form. So, maybe is there do we need to tell people? Let me look at the messaging right here. Um, I'd say check your inbox for your discount link. This should be good. Huh. Interesting. That's interesting. It's a bit low. It looks like our deliverability might be in a little bit tougher of a spot. We're

23:01probably landing a little bit in spam, but probably not a crazy amount, but probably majority like Gmail promos tabs. I'll touch on deliverability later, but that's that's the first thing that jumps out. Okay, but functional setup. So, we send this immediately. Then we have another email here, another email here, another email here. So, we definitely have a long welcome flow. I like how we send daily, though. We send daily. Let's go into here. This first email, functionally, I don't think we need to change too much here. Typically, what I like to do with welcome flows is only send fourish emails and send it every single day. That's typically what

23:35I like to do just because I don't like to spread things out too much because we want to have urgency. People buy from urgency. So right here is where I'd be having urgency. Like it's just like our top picks for you before it looks like we enter the store credit offer which is amazing. I definitely go urgency on the mystery offer whatever the offer is. And

23:53so I would highly recommend doing that. Having a little bit more urgency. That's the first thing I'm going to go through. I'll summarize all my thoughts here in as I go through it all. We're doing a mystery. Okay. Okay. So, we're not actually telling them until they go to checkout. We have a code that looks random. Awesome. Are we automatically applying this discount on the link or no? Yes. Okay, cool. As long as that's automatically applying like this is okay. That's definitely a bit crammed on design. So, I definitely want to I'd optimize that for sure. Uh but, you know, we're it's not going to be I'm

24:24going to talk a little bit more about functional setup, but this is fine. Um education. Cool. Looks like we go into a textbased email next. even if it doesn't convert as much like this textbased emails coming from a real person just go a long ways with the brand. So I love seeing this long form great. I would test this with a short form. A lot of times we see the short form crush where it's literally just hey it's Sam little bit of information and then just like your discount's still live but that's okay. Those numbers are okay. These numbers are okay. Results are in social proof. And then I just go straight to

24:56urgency right here. Have an email just like hey last chance for the mystery discount. And then that's what I would do functional wise. But it looks like we have a decent setup. Our biggest lever here like for brand when they have like all the bases and emails and every email has the discount code. If we want to optimize the welcome flow, it's all about offer testing. That is the biggest lever by far. So I would highly recommend. I love that you did the offer test. I would really test this reframing and I think that's going to going to do a lot of good stuff for us. And then I

25:22love this as well. Let's see. You've got store credit. Are we giving them store credit? Okay, so we're saying you've got store credit and we're resending this email. That's fine. And then we give $15 off later on. The thing that we have to keep in mind is campaigns are people sending these campaigns. What I would do if I were to change this, I don't think we need this. We give an extra discount, the $15 off, that's fine. How I would

25:43change this just to simplify things. Usually what I see the perform the best, four emails highlighting the core offer, the mystery discount, whatever it is, and then fifth email, wait a few days and send an actual store credit email that looks like this, which crushes. Have you ever tried an email like this where it's like a specific amount? Uh, yes. I mean, we've changed our flow so many times. Um, I couldn't tell you the exact metrics, but I mean, I'll I'll

26:08do it I'll do that tomorrow as well. Usually, this [ __ ] rips. It's our best performing email. I like to throw this at the end of the welcome flow. If somebody doesn't buy within the first four to five days of being on an email list, the rate of them converting is quite low. And so, I like to hit them with my best offer. So maybe I'll like wait a week and then send this like a specific amount, $1142, make it look super like, hey, credit apply to your account and have a

26:31discount code. Um, and that's the setup. And then I'm cool with this. And then I just end the welcome flow. A lot of people like ask like, hey, why don't we have like a longer welcome flow? D, we're sending campaigns. If somebody doesn't buy in the welcome flow, they're going into our campaigns. We're running sales in our campaigns. We're running educational emails. Like people will convert naturally from that. So we don't need a crazy long welcome flow. Uh, so that's kind of what I would adjust within the welcome flow. The other thing on the offer test, I know I'm throwing a lot, but is telling people in the email

26:59list what the mystery discount is rather than being like, "Hey, apply it in your cart." Just telling them straight up right now like, "Hey, it's $10 off rather than going straight to checkout for it." Not sure if you tried that. No, I I assume that it would be more enticing for them to click apply

27:14discount if they didn't know the offer. Definitely can get more engagement. Some people are like, "Ah, shit." But I see it in different cases. Sometimes telling them uh converts better. Sometimes people just fall off. I would test that. So there's that. If you have time, since we're asking that question in the pop-up form on their data, at least getting the first email to talk specifically towards that person's pain point. So this is like an Australian brand right here that we worked with where we ask a question in the pop-up form of, hey, why do you need magnesium? Same similar sort of thing as you, but it's sleep, sore

27:45muscles, stress, or energy. and then create that. Customize the welcome flow based on what they answer. You don't need to do every single email in the welcome flow. Just get the first one at least. I'd recommend the first two at least and then we get to the urgency final two emails where it can be more general, but customize the copy, speak

28:03directly towards the customer. Typically, I see roughly a 25ish% increase in conversions by doing that. So, if we get that data in the pop-up form, I'd highly recommend leveraging it. It's a juicy thing to do. So, that's everything that I would do in the welcome flow where um I would split based on if somebody uh what somebody

28:18said in the pop-up form. I would make it four emails, have urgency on emails three and four, and then add a fifth email of the store credit sort of last chance offer. And then boom, after that person's receiving campaigns and then once we have that set up, then I'd go into the offer test that

28:34I mentioned and kind of go from there. So, that's where my mind goes on the welcome flow. If you get one offer to rip like that, then that can really have the biggest impact on the account. So, that's where I go with the welcome flow and the audit there and suggested improvements that I would make. I think all of those are definitely meaningful improvements, but props to you. You definitely have a way better welcome flow than most brands I audit. So, good

28:55stuff. Thank you. Hell yeah. Okay, let's get to the rest of these. So, I'm going to look at abandonments next. Make sure we have all of our abandonments cuz most brands do not, but it looks like you do. So it will be the site abandoned flow. If somebody goes to the website but they don't view any specific product pages and then leaves. So we have our site

29:15abandoned. And then browse abandoned. Somebody views a product page and then leaves. We have our browse abandoned. Carter abandoned. Somebody adds to cart and then leaves. We have our cart abandoned. And then check out abandoned. Somebody goes to checkout and then leaves. We have our checkout abandoned. Beautiful. We have all of our abandonments. So we'll go a little bit more in depth. Let's look at like post purchase. So we have the trial pack post purchase flow. Cool. Do we have a

29:36general post-purchase flow? There it is. There it is. Awesome. So, we have that. Um, and then the last core flow is just win back. I'd probably have a replenishment reminder, but maybe our post purchase we have replenishment. Usually for replenishment brands, I like to have a couple emails of just like, hey, running low, like reorder. Maybe we have that, but we'll see that in a second. And then win back flow. Somebody bought from us like three months ago, six months ago, whatever the case may be. How do we get them to come back? I don't see that flow. No, one drafted that I was working on a little bit ago,

30:06but we haven't set that live yet. Cool. Bet. Perfect. Okay. Well, we have all the core ones. Uh, so that's what we want. So, uh, I'm going to go into the abandonments first. So, all of our pre-purchase flows, uh, side abandon. The main thing for abandonments that I like to do, here's site abandon, browse abandoned, and usually this is my first comment when I go into and audit brands is splitting our flow based on if somebody's bought from us before or not and giving custom content and offers towards people who haven't bought from us before. So, let's see. Maybe our messaging in here is directed towards

30:39that. So, looks like we have play store order to zero times. No. So, we don't split by buyers and non- buyers. Let's see if we have any non- buyer messaging in here. Um, looks like not really. Okay, so that's going to be my first comment here for all of our abandonment flows. This is what we always do for all of our brands. We're going to split at the top if somebody's bought from us before or if they haven't bought from us before. So, if somebody hasn't bought from us before, you could keep it the same emails. You could literally have it be the same emails if you want. Um, but

31:10for people who haven't bought from us before, just highlight the welcome offer that they just signed up for. A lot of our abandonments and the highest value abandonments are people who literally like they just clicked on your ad and then they abandoned a cart. And so we don't want to make them have to dig for their for their code or anything. And we want to remind them and it really helps with conversions. Ideally, you can give a little bit of custom content towards the non- buyers if you have time. um versus like people who have bought from us before, give them like, hey, reorder, give them a give them like usually for

31:40subscription brands is like if somebody bought a one-time purchase and then they come back and then they abandoned cart or abandoned cart for that person is we're going to push them towards subscription. Be like, "Hey, reminder, we give 30% off subscription. Like, do this." And so, uh, we'll push that way. But the big thing I'm going to say is split based on buyers and non- buyers for people who haven't bought from us before. Remind them of that welcome discount. You could literally make it, you could literally do this right after this call if you wanted. Literally just drag a text box up above here and just

32:09say, "Hey, reminder you have this discount on your first purchase." And that alone really increases conversions. Uh it's really [ __ ] stupid how well it works. Um so that is going to be the first one. Um so let's go. Now we're So we're in our side abandoned flow. We have this. We wait 35 minutes. It's a bit aggressive for site abandon. Usually

32:27we're like 4 hours. We have two emails. We start off with one email and then we go to a textbased email. Good setup. That's typically what I do. Love to see it. So, we give 10% off. So, that could conflict with our welcome acquisition offer. So, I'd just probably like to adjust that um and frame the offer better uh based on like the total discount that they're getting. This first email for side abandon lost in choices point you in the right direction. This is fine. Um definitely a bit packed, but you know, I'm not going to talk too much about creative. I just highlight the right um if if your core

32:59product is hemp and magnesium, I would just [ __ ] push everybody towards this. Just make the whole email about this and give education on how this product is different um and what it does and just be like, "Hey, here's a little bit of education on the product. We saw you browsing the site. Reminder, you have $30 off your first purchase right here." So, that's how I would do that email. But honestly, this one's performing, so good stuff. And this

33:21one's picking up some extra sales. Textbased from the founder. Amazing. Let's go to browse band and somebody views a product and then leaves. Um, all good here. So, we have this. So, one email, two emails. Okay. So, typically what we like to do here is three to four. I' I'd go four emails. I would extend this out. Um, we have point4% placed order rate, which is pretty solid. We got some more juice we can squeeze out here. And so, I would definitely want to extend out to a third or fourth email. So, these first two emails do highlight the welcome offer for people who haven't bought from us

33:53before. This is textbased. Great. And then I'd highlight an increased offer at the end here probably for emails three and four. I like this long form. This is great. I would test a really short form one. A lot of times we see it perform better. Uh this is a this was actually a browse abandoned test. Which one is it? It's this one. So it's literally a browse abandoned test doing a long form like you see that you have right here versus a literal super straightforward

34:18just like hey you left this behind. Check it out. And the short form crushed. Usually for abandonments that can make more sense. It was like an email like this. Hope you're walking in good health. Want to see if there's anything we can do. Save your order on file. So that's potentially super quick AB test setup. I would just make a simple increase discount sort of offer right here for email three. Then

34:36followed up with a textbased email four. Again, split by buyers and non- buyers. That's going to be a big lever as well. So it should be some quick wins there. Let's go to our abandoned cart abandoned checkout. Same thing. It's going to be split by buyers and non buyers. Okay, here we go. Juicy thing right here. Change this to 30 minutes. Um, and that's going to instantly improve your conversions if somebody has an abandoned cart, abandoned checkout. It always needs to be 30 minutes or less. So, instant, we tested this. I had somebody on my team send an AB test on this the other day and it was like 50% increase

35:04in placed orders. So, definitely want to cut this to about 30 minutes. Let's go into the creative here. Again, spit by buyers or non- buyers. We have the abandoned section right up at the top. I like this good copy and overcoming objections. Instead of this, I would make this educational. the person already added the item to their cart that they give a [ __ ] about. So, let's just educate on that. So, I would do social proof and testimonials. We don't want to distract with other stuff. For browse abandoned, we can show other products because that person viewed the product, but they didn't show intent. They didn't they

35:35didn't add it to cart. But for cart abandon, let's add social proof. So, I would do that uh for here. And I'm going to give a little bit of sauce as well in a second. Reminder, risk reversal. See, this one's actually converting better than the initial email, which is super rare to have a email two convert better than email one. So, we have the money back guarantee. People love this. So, good stuff. I would just make this

35:54education. Um, and then we have $50 off. Banger placed order rate. Even better, right here. And then we wait 4 days. I would make this one day. Um, and then the final discount reminder. This is good. Good setup on this. I like the strategy. Everything looks pretty solid here. Like everybody if you're a brand take notes like this is a great card abandoned flow. This checks all the boxes in terms of four emails. I would just make this one day. We have this increased offer. The only thing is split

36:20by buyers and non- buyers up at the top. I would change some of the content to be education level. And then also the juicy thing which I saw you have an abandoned checkout is the framing and the copy. So we have 30-minute delay which is good here. And in this checkout abandoned email you have that your order is almost ready to ship. That angle crushes instead of like found something you love like hey are you forgetting something like that doesn't work nearly as well as like being aggressive with like yo you pretty much already placed this order being like your order is ready to ship like [ __ ] we got a dude in the

36:49warehouse literally like packed and ready your box is ready to roll. So I like to use that framing where it's like awaiting payment or like uh there was like we're we're just like one click away. Your order's ready to ship. Um packed and ready. That sort of stuff typically I found works a lot better rather than like forgetting something or find something. So that's the other framing. Typically that absolutely [ __ ] rips. So I'm glad to see you have this one. I would remove almost and just say your order is ready to ship. Um

37:16and that simple flip will help a ton. Like I have this. I gatekeep this. So anybody watching this, if you get to see this, congrats to you. But like your order is ready to ship or your order is ready to be shipped. Like you could see literally just a subject line test. Look at the increase in click rate. 7.8% to 14%. It's about a 50% increase in placed orders. And then for this brand, same thing for getting something versus right

37:36here. 8% to 12.6% double the revenue. Same one right here. Uh similar click rate, but the intent is just different when somebody opens that. So that's what I do here. Abandoned checkout. Same thing. Split by buyers. Uh in non- buyers, good place, solid place to order rate on this first email. Good stuff. I would change the forget something framing just like, hey, your shit's ready to ship. Do some education on the product, testimonials, all that sort of stuff rather than featuring other products. And then we do splits here. We send threeish emails per how many people are going here? 129. Um, then we have

38:07the offer mystery discount. Love it. Awesome. Great stuff. Everybody take notes if you're watching this. Mystery discount in cart in checkout abandoned crushes. It's like this is like for example doing a flat discount versus a mystery discount in cart abandon. 2.4% placed order rate. Same offer but 3.5% placed order rate. Click rate 3.2 versus 6.7 because people like a [ __ ] What's this? I like this. Usually for welcomes, I don't like as much to do mystery discount at checkout because the person has to go to the website, click on the product, find the product they like, click on the product, add it to cart, and then go and apply the checkout code

38:45versus like when it's like, hey, this is in your cart. Just click here, and you're already in checkout. And the mystery discount's right there. So, we typically get a lot more clicks and engagement and performance. So, I like that. Beautiful here. Honestly, solid setup. Just a little bit of framing split by buyers, non- buyers, and then this mystery discount's good. Four emails back toback days. That's what we

39:02like to see. I just adjust the framing. Like if I could walk through like my perfect abandonment email, like this is one of my favorite abandonment emails in layouts is like this just for anybody wondering. And like for you, your order is ready to ship. Clavio dynamic section way up at the top. We're not overwhelming with too much stuff. I've noticed your emails are a bit overwhelming, but like it could it's it's fine. My order, we have some risk reversals right here. and then how we stand out. So, education and then also social proof right here. So, that's like typically what I like to do. So, that's

39:32like my perfect abandonment. That's what I'd highlight. Abandonments definitely solid. I just split by buyers and non- buyers and add those offers um and update the content to be a little bit more education for the cart and checkout and then change the framing to be a little bit more like, hey, your order's ready to ship. But solid stuff. I definitely think that there's at least 25% increase in conversions um here. And so if we that's at least like you know two to three grand a month minimum probably like fourish grand a month at the current store size as you scale it's going to be a month just by cleaning up

40:04a couple of those things. So cool. Real quick guys your flows are not going to make any money if you do not have new people joining the list. So we switched pop-up platforms to all the pop-ups. You can see in January before we were getting 8100 new people joining the email list and after we're getting over 15,000 people every single month and

40:18look at the difference in flow revenue. $216,000 in January to now clearing over $350,000 every single month, even getting to 500,000. All at pop-ups.com, best platforms in the game. They work with all the best and biggest brands. It's what we use for most of our brands. When you see sexy pop-ups like this, like this mockup that I have done for my website, and if you see the fun stuff like this scratch to reveal and this tap

40:37to drop sort of stuff, it's all Alia. So, I highly recommend you set this up, get set it up on Alia, go to all pop-ups.com. Let's go to this post-purchase upsell for somebody that does the trial before you open. So, we have education here. Your free trial. I like this custom education. Beautiful. That video. Very nice. Get the best results. Looks like we're getting a lot of placed orders and

41:00upsells. Amazing. Love this store credit. Dude, I would change this. Make it a specific amount and make it look automated. Like the example, it's going to crush for you. Okay, this one right here. Just literally copy paste this. It's going to [ __ ] rip for you. Um, but I like that offer. I like the frequency, right? When somebody tries it, upsell them. These numbers are really looking

41:23really solid. Yeah. That initial sale, right? Because it's a free roll. We're trying to gain that as fast. I love it. And you already paid like the CAC on these. So, exactly. Beautiful. No, I like this flow. There nothing too much I'd change here. I like the frequency. The one thing that I would definitely just highlight is um like for any sort of flows like this, important flows like this, like just look at your best emails, go to year-to date on your campaigns, filter by placed order, and then just look at what are our bestselling email. What are our best performing emails? Let's adapt that to

41:59then be a into a regular campaign or into a flow email. Um, so like for example, like within our platform, like we're able to do campaigns and filter based on non- buyers. Um, so if we go like um audience split right here, looks like we're this is just a mock brand, but you can see we'd be able to split by buyers and non- buyers. Looks like we don't have this for the mock brand, but then you can order your campaigns by non- buyers and what converts people who have never bought from us before and look at those campaigns. What are the angles and campaigns that work the best

42:27for them? And then just use those in the flow so we're not like recreating anything. But I really like this flow. I think that's great. It's performing solid. I'm sure we could get in the weeds with it a little bit more, but just for sake of time, I'm going to go on to this next one here, which is somebody places an order. So, they buy a

42:44general product. Um, beautiful. I would not do any delay. I would send this immediately. 2.7% place order rate. So, we have the first purchase. Thank you. This placed order rate is killer. Yeah. So, we've done something different here. Um, we basically because we're going to pack out their order the next day anyway, we're telling they can get a big discount um because they've we've

43:10already paid for the shipping, right? So, we can just throw their order their new order into their existing um box basically and beautiful offer them that discount. Yeah, 100%. How are you functionally setting that up? Is it a completely different place to order in Shopify and you just kind of manually look the next day? No, we haven't. We had an app called Merge It and then now we just use

43:31Claude Code. Beautiful. There we go. That is That is the sauce for anybody that can do this. That is the sauce. If you can hold somebody's order and then get them to upsell, like this is [ __ ] amazing. 2.7% placed order rate. Like that's all that's all upsells for us. And that's just a VSSL of me talking about um the products and because we have an older demographic,

43:52we're able to do that, I think. And you know that this has been awesome for us. We've massive um yeah crushed our post purchase for crushing. Absolutely love it. Yeah, I would just make sure you know you have this for everybody. For people who have bought multiple times, make sure we have emails. Looks like we don't really have too much. We have this one though. Um cool. The big thing that I just want to do is extra education. So, usually the founder textbased email as well. I would highly recommend getting one of these in here as well. Um usually for most brands, this is what I say is the

44:25immediate post-purchase. Thank you. Hey, want to personally reach out and say thank you. I understand placing your first order is more than just clicking buy. Quick brand story. We're packing your order. If you've got a question, just hit reply. If you can use an app to merge orders and hold somebody's product, that's ideal, but then do a PS upsell. Usually, this is the first email that I recommend. Uh, but I love what you have that VSSL, it's crushing for

44:46you. I wouldn't recommend changing it. Keep doing what you're doing. I would maybe test it with a textbased version. Um, but I I like what you guys have. But for most brands and people watching, like this is the immediate email that you should be sending to people. Um, but love it. After that, it's just about education. You know, it's a replenishable product. What I recommend for post-purchase flows is send an email every other day at minimum for the first 10 days. Just education how to use the product, when to take it, all that sort of stuff. I would just take your VSSL, put it into Claude, be like, "Hey, give

45:16me some educational emails off it." Or any other past educational emails on how to use the product, put that into the post-purchase sequence. main reason that people don't buy again or they don't like your product is because they don't use it right or they don't use enough of it and they just have too much product and so they don't reby. And so that's super super key. It's not going to show up necessarily as sales directly in these emails, but it's going to come back um and people are going to come back and buy at a higher rate. And so beautiful. I like that upsell. Everybody should take notes on that. Um the only

45:44thing is that we definitely need some education in there. Next thing, so replenishment reminder. So, how long? So, you said around 30 days is when people kind of run out of product. Yeah, roughly. Cool. So, we're definitely going to want to get that set up a replenishment reminder flow. Very simple. Like, hey, are you running low on your product? Like, reby. Usually, it crushes. And so, like we're able to track this within our

46:05platform of like time between orders. When do people actually place orders so we can time this correctly. Um, and so I like to do this. Um, and we usually use the AI chat. You can split based on product as well. And so, it's like this. And so this is how we track it. You could I do like past I would download all your Shopify orders year to date and or I'd download all your customers who

46:27have placed two orders year to date. Download a report of that upload it to Claude and be like hey what's the time between orders for everybody this year like give me a table of day by day when people are placing their next orders and try to time it right. Usually I'd recommend kind of like day 20ish is typically usually it's sooner than you think. Like if it usually takes 30 days for someone, start reminding on like day 20 because people will buy. We don't want people to buy when they run out. We want people to buy when it when they're starting to run out and they're still in

46:55the honeymoon phase of their product. So I would highly recommend kind of like that 20day mark is where I would set up a replenishment reminder flow. Maybe like day 25. You can have a super simple email like, "Hey, are you running low?" I love this email. I'd highly recommend you set this up as the first email in

47:08the replenishment reminder flow. Founder check-in 3 weeks after purchase. Hey, hope you're well. Keep in good health. My name is Hersh. It's been nearly three weeks since you tried a since you got a product. By now, you should be feeling this. Most important, you should be experiencing this. As you can probably tell, we really care about a product. As you continue, you might be running low. Shop now. This crushes. And then I'd send an email every few days like, "Hey, are you running low?" And like, "Hey, long-term benefits of our product." That sort of stuff. Set up like fourish emails in that replenishment reminder flow. And then

47:37you're going to be golden right there. And then the last sort of journey is going to be the win back flow. Because also we have to keep in mind people are receiving campaigns, they'll naturally reby from campaigns. So I think just like emails, post-purchase emails within the first seven to 10 days with strong education, immediate upsell, strong education, and then let's wait until

47:54they've used the product a little bit. Uh maybe like have when somebody's order is shipped, give them a quick email and reminder, but then around like day 20 to 25, let's have some emails over the next week on getting them to reorder if they buy a one pack. If they have the three-pack, then maybe I would adjust that and split that out and do, you know, maybe day 75 is when we have a replenishment reminder flow because I forgot you're kind of you have the threeack and time that a bit. And then we'll have the win back flow. Somebody hasn't bought in usually like whatever the average repeat purchase time is,

48:25multiply it times 2 to three. So if for you say it was the single single bottle and people buy usually on average on day 40 win back flow I'm going to multiply that times three 120 days I'm going to trigger my win back flow. Yeah these people have been receiving campaigns and they still haven't bought now let's hit them with our offers. So where a lot of people go with the win back flow is they try to be like hey we miss you d that [ __ ] doesn't get people to convert. Like they've been receiving

48:50campaigns they've been receiving sales. Like you have sales going on and people still haven't bought. The only thing that will get people to buy on win back is offers. So, it's all offer tests. So, I highly recommend again the store credit. Rip this [ __ ] again. Test doing bundle offers. Test different dollar off and percent offers. And that's all I like to do for my win back flow. A simple two or three emails literally just offer testing. You don't need any specific messaging. I wouldn't over complicate it. That's what I would do if I were you or any brands that are in here. But, I just split based on

49:20product. So, if it's the one pack versus the three-ack, and you're just going to have to adjust the timing and give custom offers based on that. And that's what I would do on the follow-up and the post-purchase journey. Does that all make sense? Any questions there? No, man. Sounds great. I'm keen to try

49:34it out. [ __ ] yeah. Cool. That should be good to go on the flow side. No, no real other notes from me. The only thing, dude, is subscription would rip for you guys. I know it would. Yeah. It's so tough, man. We have an older demographic, so I feel like a lot of them would get feel like they're being scammed if we just like took money out

49:52of their bank account once a month. We've we've dealt with a lot of customer um obviously everyone has a lot of customer support issues, but we've had a lot of um emails come in from customers. They're just kind of a bit neurotic old people sometimes. That's obviously going to be the case sometimes. Um but as long as you're transparent, open, honest, and you're really straightforward about it, it's great. So, like one of our brands whose skew is very old is Live Fresh. And so, this is like toothpaste specifically for people with like gum issues. This brand's [ __ ] ripping. Everybody's old as [ __ ] And this is like a subscription

50:28first brand. And it's like, yes, you're going to get people who are who do that um and are a little bit upset, but you know, just be just be honest about like subscribe and save and like remind people about it. But, um yeah, and I like that pop up there. That looks it when it when it's clear, I

50:46think it's probably fine. Yeah, I I think you know it I think it would if I could say one thing that would make the biggest impact on your business, I think it's going to be that. And then if people have issues, you can just refund them. Um if you if you want to and so um cool. So there's that. Now let's go to campaigns. Walk me through your campaign strategy. Like if you

51:05could kind of like summarize it. Tuesday we send a textbased email and Thursday we send a graphic. Graphic emails are typically a bit more salesy and the text base are obviously more educational. And then Sunday we sometimes send an email, sometimes don't. Usually graphic or maybe a engagement bait um email kind of thing. So,

51:29Gotcha. Okay, that's a good frequency. The one thing I did notice is your guys's unsubs are pretty high. You guys have a pretty high unsubscribe rate, but our list is growing at a good rate, but typically we will skew higher unsub and spam rate for um brands older demographic. Um like we get really high unsubs. I think this is kind of like mostly recently it's been like a bigger spike. Unsubscribe rates aren't a big deal. They don't have an impact on deliverability. Um so I don't worry about it too much. The only thing is like spam we want to keep

52:04ideally at below 0.01 but 002 is fine. It's not going to cause you too many issues. So that's the one thing maybe to look at. What I would do here just when I I like to be super careful with older demographics and high unsubs. I like to create this segment, an exclusion segment of anybody who's received a flow email

52:27in the past um like x amount of time. So, I I like to do like received email at least once in the last um I'll do like 48 hours where message type equals all right let's do where flow is set. That's how we do it. And then use this as an exclusion segment for all your campaigns. So essentially all your campaigns you would exclude these people just to reduce frequency for like your nurture educational sense. That's something where uh typically I would recommend uh doing in some cases. So that's something to consider. Um let's look at our engage list. Broad 90-day open, keeping it simple frequency. I

53:12mean, we definitely send a lot of emails here, which is great and I'm fine with Oh, it looks like, you know, different exclusions, but I'm totally cool with going aggressive like this. Yep. Awesome. I think the frequency is good for your guys' size. I'd maybe increase it a bit. Maybe even go every other day. You guys have great engagement on these

53:29click rates, which is great to see. Looks like we're just stick to our 90-day opened. What I would do, stick to your 90-day opened and then twice a month send to your whole entire list. Okay. I would probably to this engage list, I would add or active on site. I'd like remove this, move this or up here and say somebody's been active on site at least once in the past 30 days. So, it's also anybody who's been active on the website. probably do that and that's going to be my base sending list. I wouldn't expand any further besides everybody do a full email list send twice to three times a month and you'll

54:06naturally re-engage people and they'll enter into your 90-day engage list. That's how I do segmentation. Segmentation frequency looks like it is fine here. Perfect. Good. This free shipping offer looks like it did well. Yeah, that was a little promo we did for the king's birthday which you guys probably celebrate over there in the US. Yeah. Cool. Cool. Cool. These click rates are pretty solid. I love the text

54:29base that you guys are mixing in. Anybody who doesn't mix in text based, that's usually one of my big notes is, hey, mix in textbased emails at least once a week. So, I love that you guys are doing that. Something Okay, just looking at the content. Looks like the content, the strategy is good. I like it. I don't see any massive lowhanging fruit in our campaigns besides that segmentation. We can hit a few more people with our active on site. I think I'd consider upgrading to every other day emails. Like missing from the 14th to the 19th, like that's too big of a gap. We definitely need to increase

55:01that. Yeah. No other massive lowhanging fruit. It looks like the content you guys are mixing in educational, which is good. Reviews, social proof, mixing in sort of like a sale once a monthish. Good. No major comments here on the campaigns. So, it's definitely creatives. It's definitely a bit packed. Um, I think like branding wise we could make it a bit more premium for the brand. You

55:24know, there's just a lot going on. It's quite quite heavy. So, like for example, you know, lots of clean spacing here within these, which we like to do. Lots of mixing in infographic. This is like a welcome email as well. It's a little bit better spaced. It's clear. The hero section set like this. But to be honest, like it's not [ __ ] that is going to absolutely transform your results. But there's that. I just mix in strategy-wise some of the [ __ ] that's crushing for us right now that I'd highly recommend you you look at um and some of the advanced strategies. And so

55:57some of those that I'm going to highlight here when you run a sale, just be like, "Hey, first 100 people only." Instead of doing like a 72-hour flash sale, what that tells somebody is, "Hey, I can wait 72 hours and then people forget to buy." But if you're like, "Hey, first 100 people only, you get

56:11this." I would add that into your sales. We typically see a nice little bump by doing that because there's urgency. A really good play on a sale email is this. Your order might be on us. This order lottery. Just for fun, we're going to randomly choose three people who place an order in the next 24 hours, get a full refund. Absolutely crushes. You could do just one person. It also feels like the brand is doing something nice, but you're just going to absolutely crush and make a [ __ ] ton of sales. This is like one of our favorites to do. Not sure the

56:35legalities of it behind uh Australia. Uh, but the legality is like you are murky in the US on this, but nobody's really had an issue on it. So, I'd mess that mess with that. One of our best performing emails, which I think would crush for you, is long form testimonial. Just highlight one long form passionate testimonial. This crushes. Absolutely love this. Whenever we do whenever you do a free shipping offer, highly recommend framing it as on us. Or if you do some sort of offer, frame it as on us. Typically, that holds a little bit more weight rather than like $10 off or free shipping. If you say like on us, it

57:06just feels like the brand is paying out of pocket and it sounds a little bit better. That framing typically does better. So, I love doing that. That's a one thing that I would mess around with. And then framing it. Also test doing store credit. I also love especially for older demographics doing like Facebook comments or Instagram DMs. It feels much more reputable and real just screenshotting like real people like this. This really rips on for testimonials and for engagement. So, I would highly recommend that as well. So, those are going to be some of the key ones on the campaigns that I would highly recommend doing, but it looks

57:38like strategy-wise, you're in a good spot. How are you coming up with like your strategy? Like, what's your process there? Uh, just think about it at work. I was going to ask creatively, are you using Claw Design or Higsfield to make these emails? Like, how are you thinking about them? No, sir. We got we got a we just got a

57:56[ __ ] ton of designers on standby. They look amazing. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, we don't use cloud design or anything. Uh, you really don't you don't need to. what I do and also I can send you a ton of my templates. So if we go so I could do like design templates when I design I do section templates. I don't like having full email templates because it doesn't make sense if I like doing a full email template. I like to mix and match different sections like a hero section I like with a hey I want an us versus them section now. So I usually go off

58:25templates like this have the examples here and then these templates and then I like to mix and match them. So, I just have a [ __ ] ton right here. Um, all of them have the example. There's a [ __ ] ton of hero sections and then you can just literally just like click one and then I'll just like paste it up here and then it's like, okay, I need a I want a testimonial section. Um, okay, let me go to testimonials. What one do I like? Let me just do I'm just going to highlight one testimonial like this that looks like a tweet. Uh, let's do this for my

58:53bridge. And then you just do this. Boom. And then it's like, okay, now I need a product section. I'm just going to highlight one product. Uh, let's do this one right here. Or maybe let's do this one. And then you're able to just plug in your fonts. Just adjust the fonts and then just boom, edit like this. So I have this. Then I also have templates for all of our flows, all of our campaigns, like literally everything templatized. As far as like process for calendar planning, it walks you through it. Our exact process as well inside the cloud skill. So if it's like, hey, we're

59:19going to do our calendar for August. It's like, okay, our process is number one, past winners. What are the past winners that we can just resend or adjust? That's the first thing. You always want to put in one or two past winners inside your monthly campaign. And then you're going to go through ad angles that are ripping right now. Add in and landing page angles that are working well. You're going to plug make

59:36a couple of emails based off of that. That's going to be number two. Number three, then it's going to be swiping. So swiping from competitors, other stuff that you see. What are the emails that we can replicate? We can steal all of our best a lot of our best performing emails. We're just stealing from other other brands that we see work well. Then number four, then we mix in AI. So we tell the AI the claude skill the different emails that we want to plug in. Usually I have like six to eight emails uh that are like already like hey I want to mix these in. Hey Claude,

59:59based on like the balance of email content that we're supposed to do help me come out with like the other angles and then it creates the whole calendar based on like also our best performing concepts. And so that's my process for calendar but I use designers. You can you can find great designers. You can get part-time people. Online jobs.ph is great since you're in Australia. Uh you can get Philippine Philippines designers

1:00:19who are awesome at a really good price. Online jobs.ph is a great place to find them. Upwork as well is a great place to find them. You can get part-time people. Uh where it might make sense to do that or it might make sense to just use these templates. Um but as far as strategy,

1:00:32I'd have to look a little bit deeper. The only thing is just like offer testing is going to be the big one. And I think the campaign's cleaning them up. But no major things. That's like some of my notes. Like overall when I look at the account, I think most of our damage is just growing our list with campaigns. I think the biggest lever is within the account. Honestly, I don't think it's within the campaigns. I think you have a decent frequency. I think we can upgrade it a little bit and update the segmentation a little bit. based on like expanding it a little bit for some of

1:00:55our sends. And the extra performance here is just going to be based on strategy. Like I'm telling you, like you mix in these store credit emails, these sale concepts, like these will these can literally double performance. So it's going to be on the strategy and these winning angles and then repeat your winning angles. I think the biggest levers lie within the flows and the offers. So pop-up form, that's the biggest lever in my opinion in the account. And then the offer as well and then some of the flow stuff that I went over. I think the replenishment reminder is going to be big for you. the

1:01:21abandonment splitting by buyers and non- buyers is going to be big for you and those are going to be like the highest highest levers and I'll summarize this as well um and send it to a doc to you as well as some resources with all those updates that I highlighted. I think this definitely could be at 40%. I wouldn't I think there's a 33% increase in email performance that we can definitely get out. Not all that is going to be purely incremental. Some of that is just going to be bleed over. I'd say just because you know some people were already going to convert and then email will take some

1:01:47of that. Uh so it's I like to be transparent about that. I'm not saying an extra 33% completely incremental, but at least half of that will be incremental. So, lots of juicy stuff there, but this is definitely a better setup than a lot of the brands that I audit. So, props to you. That's like the overall summary. Yeah, lots of fun stuff. Good stuff. Any questions on that

1:02:05on any of that? Um, not really, man. I appreciate your time. I've been following you for a while now, so we've we've copied a lot of your uh um reels and videos you've put out, so I'm just happy to talk to you and appreciate your time. Hell yeah, dude. No, you you guys are crushing. You guys are doing a great job and this is definitely like a really good base on the email system, but as we scale, we definitely want to want to clean some of this up and and uh really

1:02:27optimize it as we scale. So, good stuff. Awesome. That should be everything here. Of course, if anybody wants an audit themsel, then they can book a call with me. Link's going to be in the description. That covers everything for today. Hope you got value out of this audit. I appreciate you all watching. Sam, appreciate you. You're the man. And yeah, I'll see you guys in the next clip. All right, so here's the document summarizing the whole audit that we went

1:02:49over and kind of summarizing everything. This is going to be linked below in the description for you guys to have for completely free. You can see kind of how I structure these and how I will deliver this to brands. And if you are a brand and you want a full audit like this and you want a dock in a video breaking down your account, then of course click the link below. There's also going to be a link to book a call within this document. Uh starting off with sort of the brand snapshot and where we're at to email performance at a glance to the pop-up form opportunities. I would

1:03:14really really highly recommend going well first right off the bat optimize this pop-up design and what we're designing here and fix some of the quick wins that I highlighted and then also the offer reframe. I think that's going to be big cuz we want to lead with the 90-day subscription offer that he highlighted. That offer is $29 off and so I would lead with that acquisition offer and give no extra sort of like

1:03:34discount for the 30-day sort of option. And so that's going to improve with their take rate for that option. Welcome series or the recommended structure. I kind of laid it out here. The abandonment flows. One of the main things is splitting by buyers and non- buyers and then making sure we get all these flows sort of following the best practices. Post-purchase and retention flows. We can see what we have here. A big lever is going to be the replenishment reminder flow and then general post-purchase flow as well. And win back flow, they don't currently have anything live. So, that's going to be a

1:03:59big one as well, which I am excited for. As far as the campaign strategy, we can see in my opinion the biggest lever is going to be just like cadence. Like, hey, let's increase how much we're sending a bit. We saw their list growth and the new people coming in versus people leaving. And so just increasing that uh and then mixing in some of the winning campaign angles that a lot of you guys see me talk about in a lot of my content. Uh so I would highly recommend leading with that and then subscription that's going to be a big untapped lever as well which is kind of

1:04:26like something that the brand can do later on. And so overall priorities highest impact I think the pop-up form and the offer and then revising all these flows and the offer testing and then building in these new flows and then campaigns and segmentation here uh increasing that frequency and then longer term explore that subscription model. personalize our walking flow by quiz answers and build replenishment cohort data. Estimated a total revenue uplift from all improvements. Roughly a 33% increase with at least half being fully incremental. Um, and I'm able to make those estimations because I've literally done hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of

1:04:56audits and I've actively managed over 300 plus accounts. So, I've seen this stuff play out. So, I kind of know and I'm confident. I always put out conservative numbers. And so, again, if you want estimation for your brand, uh, then you can book a call with the link below. You guys can claim this document below. I hope you guys got value from this. Let me know if you want to see more content like this. Appreciate you
