0:00I'm going to show you the exact clavia flows we use to five to 7x email revenue for ecom brands and why most top 10 flow videos are dangerously misleading. This isn't theory. This isn't what sound good on YouTube. We manage Claio for e-commerce brands doing anywhere from 5 figures to seven figures a month. And these flows are responsible for the majority of their email revenue. These are the same flows we implement for brands like Uncanny Wellness to increase
0:28their email revenue by 535%. Kids [music] email and SMS revenue by 745% and Mother Botanical's email and SMS revenue by 800%. It took me over 7 years to figure out what actually matters. And I've distilled it all of it into five core flows. Every e-commerce brand needs in order of priority. Not what's trendy, but what actually deploy for our own clients. So, let's jump in. Number one, the welcome series flow. The welcome series is the most important flow in your entire Clave account. And let's get one thing straight right away. Goal of the welcome series is to deliver the incentive you promised them in the signup form. And people don't just give
1:09their email just to learn more about the brand. They're simply waiting for that code. And that's why email one is always the biggest converter in the entire flow. So, in the first email, we do three things very clearly. We deliver the discount code. We show them what to buy. So, usually bestsellers or a start here selection. And we immediately reduce risk with guarantees, trials, and other risk reversals when possible. And that email alone will generate a big chunk of your welcome flow revenue. But here's where most brands stop and where they lose a lot of money. After email one, the job of the welcome series simply changes. So now it's no longer
1:46just about here's your discount. Now it's more about building confidence to buy from you because that's the biggest issue nowadays that your potential customers need to trust you and this is especially important for brands with longer buying cycles. So the emails that follows are focused on trust building and not instant revenue. So we use different angles across these emails like social proof so reviews, testimonials, press mentions, benefit focused emails, [music] so why the product actually solves the problem, objection handling for your specific audience, comparisons, so why your
2:19product is different from alternatives. And of course, you don't need to use all of these blindly. You simply test what angles works best for your specific brand. So for brand A, more cross building works better. For brand B, it works better to go more in depth on like the comparisons. One thing that's a non-negotiable though, the first 48 to 72 hours after someone signs up matters the most. So that's the biggest window of opportunity to generate revenue with this flow. So the welcome flow needs to be tight, focused, and front-loaded and not stretch out over weeks. And when this flow is built correctly, you get strong day zero revenue, higher
2:56conversion later in the flow, and better performance from every other email you send after that. And that's why the welcome series sets the tone for your entire email program. Just a quick reminder, if you want a full Clavio flow course, grab the free guide in the description below. Flow number two, the abandoned card flow. The abandoned card flow exists to fix one of the biggest leaks in e-commerce. So, someone adds a product to the cart and then they left your store. And most brands make the same mistake here. They go straight to discounts and [music] we don't. The structure we use is simple and very intentional. So, first we want to send a
3:33fast reminder email because most people they didn't say no to your brand. They just simply got distracted. And after that, we focus on removing hesitation. So, shipping, returns, guarantees, uh quality concerns, whatever could be stopping them from buying from your brand. And only after that we escalate. So more proof, more urgency, and only then if needed an incentive. And usually you only want to give a discount to people who never bought from you. And returning customers, they don't need to notch anymore or at least not the same discount. And this controlled escalation recovers a lot of revenue without destroying your margins or your email deliverability. Flow number three is the
4:11abandoned checkout flow. And this is where a lot of brands get it wrong. If your flow is triggered by checkout started, that's not a card abandonment flow. That's a checkout abandonment flow. So these are two separate flows and you need both for your store. The check out abandonment is higher intent compared to the card abandonment flow because these people not only added a product to their card, they also went to the checkout page. So they are very close to buying. And for most brands, it makes sense to use the same flow for your card and check out abandonment as a starting point. Only when you start
4:41split testing, you'll see that the flows will have different outcomes and you will tailor the content towards specific place in the funnel. And typically the reason that people abandon checkout is all about risk. So the flow should be all about reassurance. Same as with the card dependent flow. So clear delivery expectations, returns and guarantees,
5:00information, support, and credibility. So you're basically removing the last minute friction and not pushing harder. And when done right, this flow quietly recovers high quality revenue without feeling pushy. Flow number four is the browse abandonment flow. And most brands don't really know what to do with the browse abandonment flow and they don't understand the mindset of their audience when they receive that flow. People who get the browse abandonment flow have been on one of your product pages and then they left your store. So their buying intent is low and they're simply
5:32comparing you versus your competitors. So that's why we always like to call them the window shoppers. And often times I see ecom brands just throwing in a discount code immediately and calling it a day. But that just doesn't work. The goal here isn't to sell immediately. It's just to stay top of mind while the customer is still comparing and thinking. You just want to make things clear why they should buy from you and not from your competitors. That's really the only goal that you should have with your browse embedment flow. So the first email is just a light reminder where you also recommend other products they might
6:04like. And then we continue with building trust. That's again the most important thing. So we want to share social proof, risk reversals and objection handling. And only later we can start adding discount codes when needed. And this flow works because it matches how people actually buy and especially for higher consideration products. Flow number five is the post purchase flow. And this is usually where most brands completely stop and where the customer life and value is actually built. Most post-purchase flows that we see are just thanks for your order and your order has been shipped. And this a huge missed opportunity because right after someone buys, they're still emotionally
6:43invested. They're excited and sometimes a bit nervous. So we use post-purchase flows to increase the first to second purchase rate to cross-ell in a smart way and to create predictable repeat revenue. So that means expectation setting product guidance reinforcing the buying in decision and showing the logical next step for them. So this flow turns one purchase into a long-term relationship. And that's where the real profit for your ecom store really comes from. So if you want to increase your customer life and value, we have to understand your audience first. And for a lot of brands, we see that most people buy again within 30 days after their
7:20initial purchase. So don't be scared to use your post-purchase flow to cross-ell, even immediately after their initial purchase. Now, here's the important part. Just knowing which flows to build is only half of the equation. What actually drives revenue is how those flows are executed. So the copy, the timing, the segmentation, and the ongoing testing behind them. And to be honest, this is where most brands get stuck. They build the flows once and then they never really optimize it.
