0:00Uh, I write the spec, then I execute. So, what does that mean? When I put stuff in there, let's say I had an idea to order some new Neutonic. Most people would have a to-do list, order new Neutonic. Mine is find out who orders the Neutonic and make sure they order blah, blah, blah. Like, I give the spec.
0:24Blue, I need 16 cans. And then when it's done, I want you to do this. Once it's ordered, verify it's ordered and then send me a DM on Slack. I like to use my iMessage cuz I have it integrated to close loops. Text messages from me to me is how I close loops. So, it's kind of weird. Again, my version. Grock bot in for ideas, closing loops text message. Cuz I don't get a lot of text messages cuz nobody has my number, and those text messages are the closing of the loops of things I want to
0:53done. But, what I do on the in is I give it the whole process in the spec of what I want done so that it doesn't need more information. Most people don't give it all the information. So, it's not a to-do list is order more Neutonic. It's find out who orders Neutonic, have the request it in, order me 16 cans of the blue, verify that it got done. That's another big idea, verify it got done. Open loops waiting for. And then when it's done,
1:18message me. Okay? Now, again, this is a spec. This is not asking it to get done because sometimes, have you ever thought of something you want and then next morning you wake up and you realize you really don't want it? You do need to create some space between idea and execution. So, that's all I do. So, when I wake up in the morning, this is this is what I prompt. I open up Astra. Okay. So, then what I do
1:40is I go and I open up a new chat. Okay? Uh, what I do is I go go through my open projects that are going to do and kick them off. Each one should be a new task. All the specs are in the project. And if you have any questions about them to make sure they get done right. Just prompt me here, but create a new task per item. You have full access to my computer, my hard
2:02drive, my information. Just get the work done as per the spec. Ask me any questions based on what you need. Okay? Now, it's going to go I'm going to hit enter. It's going to go in here and it's literally going to pull off all the open to-do's. And it's going to kick those off as new
2:22tasks in Astra. Okay? And it's going to tag them. See how there's DM 21 and and product DM 34? Those are all projects. So, what I do is I keep the project file as the central brain of everything going on, like a project manager. And even when I put Astra on top of it and it's talking to it, it might go open up. This is all my other This is These are my coding interfaces. It could open up a coding interface and start putting all the prompts from the Notion file into writing the code to get the thing done to then come back here to coordinate
2:55other stuff, but it logs everything inside of the Notion file. Does that make sense? That's how I'm able to move from like I can move from a Grok bot to a Claude to a [ __ ] I can literally move around AIs because I don't care because everything's centralized around this Notion file. Notion file is like the single source of
3:14truth. It's 100% the single source of truth and it becomes the um repository of what's been done, who's done it, what interactions, if there's like open loops waiting on it's all in there. Mhm. So, that way at any point if there's a disconnect, something breaks, I just tell it to go back in and figure
3:31yourself out and kick it off again. And that is literally how I work. So, in the morning, so you're going to watch these kick off, right? So, reviewing all the specs, review specs. Bo had a question, remove isolated off build. September 21st, thresholding repository off full pod master. No, keep pod master build on hold. Okay? So, it knew that I told it to wait. It said, "Hey, you said last time you wanted to wait. Do you want me to kick this off again?" I said, "No, don't kick it off." It's like, "All right, cool." Other than that, it started spinning up all of these. Okay? So, what
4:01I do here Look at this. It's literally all of these [ __ ] projects. What I do is Oh, I forgot to tell it to pin it. Sorry. And be sure to pin those new tasks as you kick them off. So, what I do is in Astra, you can pin the task. So, as they're kicked off, they're pinned up here. Why are they pinned up here? Because that's That's how I manage
4:24my projects. So, usually in the morning kick it off it goes and it launches 10 or 15 projects. It starts running. It'll take over my computer. It'll kick off code. I'll go have meetings. I'll do stuff. I'll draw on my whiteboard, talk to people, and then I'll come back and I'll just be like where is it at? Done. Updated, verified, grokbot, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Mark the
4:48project as closed. Take the pin off. Then then I'm done. That's all I do. So, I took it from Notion, moved it over to done, updated the Notion that it's done, took it out of the pin, it's no longer active. All I do all day long is just clear these out. Real quick, you've made it to the end. Let me tell you what I know about you. You're not somebody that's looking to do shelf help. You're not somebody that's just doom scrolling on social media. You're here cuz you want to build, build a real business, and you're sick and tired of not getting the real insights to grow inside your
5:22business. So, I want to help you avoid all the pain trying to figure this out the hard way like I did it. That's why I put together everything I've ever learned into the Scale Workbook. It's the internal document that I use with every founder I work with that turns a chaotic business into a money-making machine. And teaching you all of this without burning more hours. It's totally free. The link is in the description, or you can just scan the QR code on the screen, cuz I'm here to help you build
