0:00If you are on Fiverr and you're struggling and you're not getting messages and you're not getting gigs and you're wanting to know what you can tweak, what you can avoid, this is the episode for you. We have Arabelle, Arabelle, super excited to chat with you. Welcome to the UGC 101 podcast. Can you give an introduction for those that don't know you? Yes, Nate, thank you so much for having me. I really appreciate it. This is actually my first official podcast, so

0:25I'm very excited that it's with you. Your podcast has been making waves in the community and I'm just really excited to be here, so thank you so much. Yeah, I basically experienced some of the major, major pitfalls on Fiverr and I can't wait to talk all about it because there were it was catastrophic, but it was a true blessing in disguise and I think that's just the essence of being a freelancer, working for yourself, like doing all those things where you can really you know, have these moments where you feel like the world is coming to an end, everything you've worked for is over, but that's not the case, you know, it's

0:58it's the beauty of what we do, we can pivot, we can pivot, so that's basically what I did. So, kind of a background about me, how far back do you want me to go? Yeah, I want like No, this is perfect cuz I my first question is always like how did you get into UGC? So, yeah, go way back, let's get into

1:13that. Let's start with that. Okay, all right, let's just start way back yonder years. Back in 2009, I graduated from Florida State and it was the middle of the Great Recession, so it was great. [laughter] Not really, it was awful and so I actually had plans to work with my dad um and so I left college, went and worked with him, but it was it was as you could imagine, as horrible as it could possibly be is how horrible it was. But I graduated with um business and marketing and so basically I worked with him for a little bit and then once the recession 3 years

1:48later kind of started to get better, I decided to jump ship. It was We're not going to get into that, that far back, but we ended up I ended up basically working as a marketing director for a small business. They were a commercial cleaning company down here in South Florida. And that's really my first introduction to Fiverr. So, I was their marketing director, they had already been on Fiverr, this was 2013. Fiverr was established in 2010 and they wanted me to create their brochures, do their website, you know, do all of that stuff, but they were super micro managers. And so they were like, this is our Fiverr account, if you

2:23want, you can use it for brochure design, but we want to see the end result, you need to like tweak it. So, I was like, oh my I could hire someone for $5 to do this design that would take me 2 weeks? Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good. So, that was Fiverr back then, right? $5 jobs, that was the whole motto. It was great and so I used that account for quite a while as a buyer. And then they were like, we need you to design our website, but I didn't know how to at the time, so they hired on a web designer, a WordPress web designer

2:53to come into the office and design it so that I could watch them like in office cuz they were like they needed to know you know, those kind of people. Jeez. Yeah, and so I had to sit with them and learn how they did it so that I could make edits to the website and I was like

3:08That's so hard. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. I was like, you know, and this is my biggest tip for anybody, if you have a chance to sit next to a professional who knows what they're doing, take notes, watch it, take notes, do learn what they are doing because that's a skill that you could take later on. And that's exactly what I did. I watched him design WordPress website and I was like, I could do that. I could totally do that. And so I went home and I just started I was like, I know how to do WordPress, I'm going to learn everything I need to know. I went

3:39on to YouTube, which was huge. I mean, it's still huge, but it was the number one YouTube certified, all that and I just learned as much as I could and over like the span of a year I would design websites for my friends and family and blah blah blah. Were you getting paid? job. Like from your friends and family or were you like, I'll do it for free or

3:55something? Nope. Nope, I was like just what do you need done? I'm going to practice and I'll make these sites and it was a whole different world back then. It was it was very difficult, like you needed to know Photoshop, you had to have all the right It was just a lot harder back then, which I'm so thankful for Canva now. I'm like, if only I had it back then, but I got another job after a year cuz that that job was just I mean, it was great, I learned a lot, but it was tough. And then I worked for a glass company that they developed glass like privacy glass

4:25in hospitals. Vistamatic is the company and I loved working there. It was like amazing, absolutely amazing, small business, it was incredible. I designed their CRM system, I designed their website, their all that and of course now I knew WordPress, so I designed their website. At that point it was like 2013, 2014 and I was like, I think I can start doing this for small businesses, like I think I can actually get paid on the side Yeah. to do this and I love that you said that during our call where you were like, everybody has a side hustle, right? Like you have something that

4:58you're doing. So, I was doing doing that on the side and I got on this site called Thumbtack. Have you ever heard of Thumbtack? Oh, I use Thumbtack all the time. Do you? Yeah. To this day? Yeah, like we hire Yeah, we literally hired someone like a week ago on Thumbtack, yeah. Oh my god, that's so cool. Well, yeah, 2013, 2014 it was huge. It was like the number one way to get work and I set up

5:19a profile. I got slammed with small businesses being like, please design my website. I worked with so many amazing, amazing companies and I got so busy while working my 9-5 that I would literally go to the bathroom to reply to messages. And I remember coming out of the bathroom at one point and my boss Kevin was like, are you pregnant? Like why are you in the bathroom so much? [laughter] And I'm like, no. We had a good relationship, it was fine, but I was like, okay, maybe I'm getting to be a little too busy to have a 9-5, which was

5:51like a really good problem to have. Yeah. So, Mikey, my husband and I, we sat down and we were like, should we go full-time? Like is this going to be worth it? And I was like, you know what, I really love working here, so let me let me suggest that we go freelance. Instead of paying me salary, I can be freelance and work half a day in the office and do whatever he needs and then continue with my work. So, we did that for about 6 months. He was like really excited, but then he also wanted somebody on his team, so it only lasted for about 6

6:19months, but it was incredible cuz we left on really, really good terms. Full-blown panic attack. I was like [laughter] I remember driving home and just being like, what do I do? And you know, the whole freak out, you know, it's scary. You're like going from this steady paycheck to when is my next job going to come in? And even though you're busy, you know, there's ups and downs and that's what I learned from my dad's business who was always down, it was always financially like struggling and so I was really like traumatized by that's going to happen to me. Yeah. Fast forward a couple years, we moved to Colorado, my husband and I

6:55moved to Colorado to experience cold weather. We live in South Florida, our lives never had a snowy Christmas and so we packed up our three dogs and we moved to Colorado and um yeah, I lost all my web design clients. No way, just cuz you moved or or just really? Yep. Yep, 2016 wanted you in the same town or something? That's so wild. Did you do a lot of in-person meetings with them? Everything was in-person. Everything cuz this was pre-Zoom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This was like Skype, you're still dealing with Skype and stuff, yeah. Yeah, yeah, like Skype was really hard, they didn't understand it. I would always do

7:33in-person things and after like 6 months of moving to Colorado, it was like, what are we going to do? I tried to find clients there, but we lived in Colorado Springs, which is very like army, military based and franchise based, there's not a lot of small businesses. I would try and go into Denver to find clients, but it just wasn't working, you know, and it was just like, okay, I need to face the music, like I've lost my web design business, I need to figure something else out. And I decided to one night randomly, I'm like, what am I going to do? And I was like, oh my god,

8:04I have this Fiverr account from when I worked at Sparkle Team, that was the name of it. I said, I have this Fiverr account, let me see if I can still log in cuz it was like under their account, but I could. So, I was like, screw it. This account's old, I'm just going to go ahead and create a voice over gig. I had done couple like, you know, voicemail greetings for the companies I worked with. I went to my my uh closet, I literally like in the movies, pulled out this box and dusted it off, you know, like dusted off the the mic and plugged

8:32it in, it sounded like crap. It was a $60 like cheapy mic, you know. I was like, I don't care. Again, went on to YouTube, learned how to edit the audio in Adobe Audition cuz I had already known Photoshop, so I was like, I think I can do Audition. It was pretty easy. It's actually it's intimidating, but it's really easy once you like know what you're doing and YouTube has great

8:51tutorials. And so I learned how to do it and I set up my first gig. And it was on their account. I was nervous about it, but I was like, whatever, I just want to get going, what let's see if this is even going to work or not. So, I set up a little intro video, it was like the simplest intro video ever and 2 weeks later I remember I woke up and I went to my computer and I had 20

9:12orders in queue. 20 voice over orders, just I was like, OH MY GOD, [screaming] I'm like freaking out. Yeah, yeah. I call Mikey. Yeah, I'm just like, oh my god, it's happening, it's happening. And I was like, okay, this is my new career. I'm going to be a voice over artist now and we got married, we had kids, had my first, literally recording voice overs and nursing [laughter] at the same time. It was glorious. I could be home with them every single Exactly, exactly. I could be home with them all day long and then at night I would record voice overs and we would make money. We weren't making like a ton

9:48of money, but we were paying our bills and I was happy with that. I was like, that's fine. We struggled a little bit, it was a little tight, but I was like, it's fine. We're you know, we're happy, I'm here with my kids. It's all that. And then in 2019 I tried to set up an account for Mikey for him to do voice overs. And that's

10:06when I learned the very first pitfall. You can't have more than one account per household. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because they they shut Yep. They shut down both of the accounts. They shut down their account and they shut down my account. And I had like 2,000 reviews at that point. Geez. So it goes off of the address.

10:26Yeah, the IP address. Oh, it goes off the IP address, [clears throat] not the physical address. Mhm. That's gnarly. I didn't know that. the IP address. Yep, it goes off the IP address and where you're sending your payouts to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I think it's both. Yeah. So because I had my account linked to their account, even though it was like Sparkle thing, but I changed the like the not the username, but I was fine with that. I changed like the display name or whatever and I was just like whatever. I was operating

10:54under that. Which I shouldn't have done. That was like a big mistake for me. I should have never done that, but I didn't know if it would work. You know what I'm saying? So when I set up Mikey's account for him to do voice overs, that's when I had to start over in 2019. So do they allow that? Sorry, I'm going to derail you for a second. You're No, no, go ahead. Like some of you may not even know about this yet, but we're hosting UGC Creator Connect in Park City and there are only a few days left to grab early bird pricing. This is a full

11:21in-person creator event with agencies, brands, platforms, and multiple guest trainers teaching you real actionable strategies you can use to grow your UGC business in 2026. Not theory, actual systems. Client acquisition, pricing, scaling, all of it. Early bird tickets are only $300, but that price jumps in just a few days on December 15th to presale and seats are limited. So if you've been wanting to take UGC seriously, get in the right rooms and actually build momentum, this is the event. Hit the link in the show notes or

11:53go to ugccreatorconnectevent.com. Lock in your spot and I'll see you in Park City. I feel like I have a ton of people that like do this though, that have two like husband and wife combo in the same house. Did they recently change that or is it like Oh, no. It's going to be like they So they need to run the same gig then underneath Like they were sorry. They need to run separate gigs. Husband wife, you got to figure out who's who's the face of the account and then just put a different

12:19gig in. That makes sense. Have multiple gigs, yeah. So if you're listening to this and you done that, this is actually answering some questions in my head that like cuz you know, you probably have married couples in your community that like I want to do it too and then they like set up and they don't necessarily

12:33get kicked off right away. But their impressions are just garbage and they like that like they can't get the second one off the ground. So do you suggest they just delete the second account and put a gig underneath the husband or the wife or whoever set it up first, basically? Yes, whoever has the older account is the account you want to keep. Um you're running the risk of getting both of you banned. Both

12:53accounts. So why do they do that? Cuz they don't want you to have just like this farm in your house where you're just like farming labor. Yeah, that makes sense, huh? And I've checked the TOS because I'm like that really is bogus. Honestly, I mean you should be able to have It is, but I checked it recently to update my my course and yeah, it's still the case because again, they don't want you to

13:14run reviews from another account. I have had students who are in the same household like mother daughter, right? And the daughter is just happened to be living at the house, but she has her own bills. Like you know what I mean cuz of the housing crisis. Like it happens, you know. them though? So what I suggest if you're going to go that route, which I don't know if we want to suggest that, but have two separate internets. Have two separate IP addresses and make sure it doesn't connect to the same bank account. That's how you can avoid it, but you are still running a risk. The IP address is what

13:47they're looking for. So like I for instance, I have two internets because it, yeah. Or you could VPN it, but like I um the one the one internet is a local internet and it's so freaking spotty that one day we we actually lost it for like two two weeks I think it was and I was like I can't run my business on that. It's like my bills depend on this. Yeah. Right. I mean so I brought in AT&T. So I have two actual service providers for my internet

14:13in my household. So there's two different IP addresses. So that's essentially how you could avoid that, but yeah, it was very scary. So when it comes to couples, always have those gigs on your main account and have that one person be the admin. That's honestly the best route. Like if your husband or your spouse wants to get on, just create more gigs. You can create gigs for anybody. You can even create gigs for your kids as long as I mean I have for my kids. Yeah, my my As long as

14:40they're 13, right? Yeah. Yeah, I think they can have their also seen I've also seen other Oh, yeah, cuz I've seen like younger kids than 13. I'm like, how are they not getting booted out of here? Don't tell my 12 year old 12 year old that cuz I've my 12 year old's waiting to I have a 14 year old that's crushing. And then I have a 12 year old that's like, I want to get on. I'm like, dude, no until you're 13. And then so now I'm

14:59now I Yeah, I can't tell her that. But I was always under the impression it was under 13, but maybe that means you can have your own account, right? Correct. Yeah, yeah, you can have your own account. Yeah, I've actually worked with a couple uh on the buyer side like buying services. I worked with a high schooler one time years ago. I can't remember what it was for, maybe

15:17copywriting or something before ChatGPT. And um he was like, oh, I have to study for my exams. And I'm like, what do you mean your exams? And he was like, yeah, I'm in school. I'm in high school. I'm like, what? Yeah, I'm like, how incredible is that? You literally don't have to leave the house. You don't have to pay for [clears throat] gas and you're making money from home on Fiverr. Like um

15:35what the opportunities these kids have. I mean they're also coming in with the worst housing prices ever made. But so like you know. It's So There's a trade-off. Yeah, there's a trade-off. sorry to derail you. So let's go back. So you lost both Fiverr accounts. You had no way of getting them back. That's

15:50wild. I went through customer service. It was very scary. I was uh 2019. So my youngest was a year. She was born in 2018. And so I was like, I can't I cannot go get a job. Like I'm used to this lifestyle. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Like I I mean I just can't. And so I set up a new account. I was like, I don't care. I'm going to set up a new account

16:10under my name this time. And I created the account. Obviously didn't create another one. And so my 2019 account. And so I still had access to my buyers' usernames on the old account. So I The problem was is you couldn't message from the old account, but then you can't message buyers from a new seller account. So it was I don't remember exactly what I did to like get them back through. It was complicated, but they eventually found me and my repeat buyers is what saved the day. Okay, yeah. Yeah,

16:43yeah. Love it. Which is you know, yeah, which is one of my biggest biggest you know, pieces of advice really in any business regardless of Fiverr or not, excellent customer service. You got to retain your clients, you know. You got to make it a point to get them to come back to you, to trust you, to want to work with you in any capacity, any business that you do. It's always going to help in the long run, especially when things are slow. Um and

17:08so they they saved the day. Like December is historically decently slow. January is like right now is when you need to like, hey, remember me? Want to work together again? Here's my end of year discount, you know. Yeah. Yep, yep, exactly. So I started voice overs again. Just picked right back up. Thankfully it it started picking up right away. That gig now has 3,000 reviews. So it did very well, but I was at a $5 gig. So I was hustling. I was working like I don't know. Sometimes I would get a $100 order and it would be like, and it would be so much work. It

17:41would be like hours and hours in the studio and I remember just hustling and and I have a very bad financial upbringing. So like growing up money is money. It doesn't matter how much it is. Like appreciate it and that's it. And like Same. Right? You too? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like a scarcity

18:00mentality. It's like yeah, it's bad. Yeah. Yeah. And up until just now am I like realizing that that's not true. And so I was like, I'm not touching anything. It's working. I'm going to do this forever for $5. And the buyers are just so when you're that cheap, man, the buyers are rough. Yeah,

18:19yeah. I remember being like, listen, this is over 75 words, like maybe 80 words, 90 words. It's going to be $10. Oh. And they would like nickel and dime me. They're like, it's only 20 words over. I'm like, yeah, but then where's the cut-off? Like it's $8. It's like an $8 profit. Like give me a break, you know what I mean? Yeah, so it was wild. And so [laughter] that leads me to my catastrophe of 2021,

18:452022. We had a lot of personal stuff going on. Um we were in Colorado still. And 2020 happened and my second Emily, she um was born 2 weeks into lockdown. Geez. And it was catastrophic. It was awful, very, very traumatic. I've had to have therapy the whole time. It's crazy. My mom was supposed to come out cuz she didn't come out for my first, but all flights got canceled. Um we had a toddler at the time. No one would watch her. And so my husband almost couldn't make it in. It was it was a whole thing that I won't I won't get into. And so we

19:22realized how alone we were living in Colorado and we're like, why are we here? Like why are we here? But we were still struggling from the move getting there. So we were like, we were doing okay, but moving costs a lot of money, especially across the country. Yeah. And so my sister came in and she

19:38was like, I will give you $10,000. Move back here. And I was like, I don't know. And she's like, listen, mom's cancer is not doing well. Like we don't know how much time we have. You need to come back here. And I was like, all right, done. So 6 months we packed everything up in October of 2020 we moved back to Florida and it was bad. It was so bad. Anyway, I'm not going to get into the trauma of that time, but we were basically in between places and then the housing market went crazy so we couldn't find a place and that's when everything boomed in like late 2020 early 2021 and so we

20:14ended up living in this really really small place and we were really struggling. Like it was it was bad. It was really a bad situation for us. We had exhausted everything. I was getting back into voiceovers. It was busy. It was fine, but it just wasn't enough. And so we were struggling and I was staying with my parents a little bit. Mikey was staying with his mom. It was just it was a crazy time and my dad uh was just like, you need to raise your prices. You need to stop charging so little. And I'm like, you're right. I I got to do it. And so 2021

20:44came and I got bombarded with orders and I was so thankful, but it was like it was too much. It was it was too much that I couldn't keep up and I was delivering like poor work. So I was like, all right, fine. I'm going to do it. And now and he's just like, you need to be charging 75, you know, your whatever whatever. And um I said, okay, fine. I'm going to go to

21:0425. I'm going to go from a $5 gig to a $25 gig. I did some research. People who had my review count were charging 25 $35 for like 100 words. I was like, I should be doing that. 5x down. Right. So I jumped my prices and this was early 2022, January of 2022 and when I tell you my gig went so quiet and I remember being like oh, no. What did I

21:30do? I do? Yeah. I shouldn't have done it. No. And about 2 weeks later I started to panic again cuz we're we're struggling. We're struggling at this point and I went in and I put it to $15 a gig. And they it changed my life. That pivotal moment No. crashed. Oh, they said the $15 crash crashed it. Oh my gosh. I went from 25 to 15 in like 2 weeks and it literally my graph. I have a I have a screenshot of it, okay, from 2022. It was like

22:042,000 impressions a day. Zero. Flatline. Flatline. Completely flat. I got completely deranked. Woo! It was crazy times. and you didn't understand it at that time. You didn't understand the whole back end of Fiverr like, okay, you can't just like like it's it's an it's like TikTok, it's like Instagram, it's an algorithm, you know, and it's like if you confuse the algorithm then it's just like it doesn't want to deal with you anymore and it just gets kicks you off the boat for a minute, right? Yep. Yep. I had three I had like 2,500 reviews. Hey, real quick. If you're brand new to UGC and feel overwhelmed, I made a free guide for

22:40you. It's called 10 steps to becoming a UGC creator from scratch and it literally takes you from I have no idea what I'm doing to landing your first paid gig. No fancy equipment needed, no massive following required, just a clear roadmap. Links below. It's free, it's practical and it'll help you start making money like now. All right, back

23:01to the show. Yeah, that's insane. 2,500 reviews. Insane. I was featured on the homepage. I mean, I didn't know anybody at Fiverr at the time, but I was doing very well. I mean, I wasn't again, I wasn't making a ton of money cuz it was a $5 gig, so I wasn't like rolling in the dough. I think the most I made was 4,000 a month. Yeah. Which I mean, it's great, you know, when you're working for yourself and you think about like I'm a stay-at-home mom, I can work from you know, at night. Like that's great. It's fine. It's enough. It's enough, you know, is basically what it

23:26is. And um it was really scary. I didn't know why. I went into all the forums. I went everywhere and no one no one was saying why this happened. And it wasn't I found out why months later, but essentially 3 months into us like now going back into our savings and like starting all over again on the struggle bus my Mikey was like, okay, I keep hearing about this thing called like GGC, UGC, something like that. And I was like, what is it? He's like, I don't know, but there's something about you being on camera and I was like, no. I'm not being

24:01on camera. I don't want to be on camera. And he's like, Arabelle, like what are we going to do? We got to do something. He was doing festivals like music festivals and stuff, but again, we were both like, you know, struggling. Yeah. And so I said, okay. Let me look into it and Emma um Emma is the first creator I can't remember last name, but Emma, she was the first creator that I saw

24:23that I watched and I was like, oh. Okay. Um sh- you you work with brands. Like hell yeah. And you don't need to like grow a following and do all that nonsense. Hell yeah. Totally down. Yeah. So I created two gigs. I created a UGC gig on Fiverr and a spokesperson gig. Cuz spokesperson on Fiverr has been around for years, but it's like the professional one, you know, like with

24:46trainings. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, exactly exactly. And that's what I didn't want to do. I was like, I don't want to do that cuz I had experimented at one point and I was like, I don't want to do that. It was too hard. It was way too hard and stressful with the lights and you have to read the the

24:59script perfectly and all that nonsense. But this I was like, yeah, I could do that. I could pull out my phone and do that. And it took off. It took off right away. That first month I remember getting my first order. It was $35. 35 I went, you know, $5 to now a $35 gig was

25:16freaking nice. [laughter] It was very nice. I remember getting that first order was like 120 and I was like, oh my god. [laughter] Oh my god. I went from working for 120 hours for voiceovers Yeah. a hun- 120 doing a 30-second video? Like, are you kidding me? I I was like, I hit the jackpot. I hit the jackpot. So gigs took off took off right away, the

25:41spokesperson one and the UGC one. And it was fun. Oh my god. I remember being but I lived in a really like very un-aesthetic house. Like we lived in a shack, okay, to like put it nicely. And I remember being like, how am I going to how am I going to record these people's content when like our living room is also where our dresser is. Like it

26:04it was a bad place. And I remember in our kitchen the back the backsplash was nice. And so I would do everything I would do everything out Everybody has that spot in their house. Everybody has that spot in their house. I love that. I love that. I mean, I don't know. Yeah, I I feel like that's a lot of people's excuses like, oh, my house isn't nice or like, dude, like they don't want too nice because that's not like attainable for their customers, you know what I'm saying? Like they want

26:29relatable. Yes, exactly exactly. Everybody has angles angles. You got to play with the angles. Find little spots. Stop looking at a whole room and look at a spot. Look at a spot and then just make it work. Get some fake flowers, put some things together. You can make it work. Um and that's what I did and I found just little angles. Outside was really nice, so I would film outside and um it it that first month I made my 4,000 a month back. The next month I made I think like 8,000 and then after about three or four months is when I hit my first

26:59five-figure month and I was So awesome. freaking out. Freaking out. Like Mikey and I were jumping in the kitchen. Like, we really did it. We did it. It was incredible, you know, for the first time we could save. It was absolutely the most exciting thing ever. But I remember at that time being so pissed off that that happened to me with my gig. Like luckily, right, it was an amazing blessing in disguise, but that was stressful. Like that amount of stress with two young kids Yeah. was bad. Like I remember just the the feeling of like, what am I going to do? You know, what how am I going to like

27:35I have to rely on my parents. I have to you know, like it's a it's a crappy feeling when you're a parent, you know? Yeah. So I started my TikTok account to just kind of play around with it. It was like a burner account. I did all kinds of weird like trends. You know, we all do it like see what happens and I remember a video going viral and it was like, you know, the the Voldemort trend where it's like, "Avada Kedavra." And I did that to a

27:58cockroach and it went viral. Yeah, yeah. And I was like, this is so stupid. Why am I doing this? I'm not making any money off of this million view video. And um and then one day occurred to me and I was like, man, if someone would have just told me that I shouldn't change my prices like that. That would have never happened to me. Yeah. Like it's a good thing that it happened, but still, it's a stressful thing. And so I said, you know what? Let me let me make a video on this burner account about Fiverr and see if it it hits. I don't know. No one's

28:30really talking about it. This was 2022. No one's talking about it. Let me see what happened. It didn't go viral. It maybe had 50 views. No one cared at the time, but one person commented and they were like, oh, what's Fiverr? And I was like oh, okay. Okay. And at that time Kayla Ni- Negra, you know, the makeup artist, the influencer she was blowing up. She had just got her deal at Sephora and I looked at Mikey and I was like, if she could do that for makeup what if I could do that for Fiverr and freelancers? Yeah, yeah. And he was like, hell yeah, do it. So I was like,

29:08let's do Fiverr big sis for my username. I was going to do Fiverr big sis. And then I was like, what if I get really big on this account and they like sue me? [laughter] Oh, yeah. So I was like you know what I mean? I'm like, I don't know if that's a good idea. So I changed it to freelance big

29:21sis. And I remember the day I hit 1,000 followers, April 27th after like 6 weeks of growing the account and it was magical. It was so exciting. I was like, I can go live now. I can teach you guys everything I know and I made videos about this horrible pitfall. So literally and freelance big sis, if you go down to the like the last videos or whatever, you can see this like, you know, me just trying to explain to people, but then I realized how many

29:47people didn't even know what Fiverr was. Like I'm telling them end, you know, solutions, and they're just like, "But what's Fiverr? I've never even heard of it." And that's kind of started the entire process of me like explaining Fiverr, what it is, how you could use it cuz I'd been using it for years, you know, years and years. And so I was like really excited to say like, "Wow, you could hire freelancers, you could sell your services. It's a win-win situation." I mean, I've hired I don't even know hundreds of freelancers at this point to do a variety of different things for me through Fiverr, and it's

30:18an incredible platform to find freelancers. And so, um that's when I really started the what is Fiverr talk, and then a couple people were interested. They're like, "How do I get started?" And so I did my one-on-ones. Did my one-on-ones, and I remember my first one was Britney. And we spent 2 hours setting up a new

30:38account. Have you done one of those? Have you done any of those? Yeah, like a full one-on-one session, screen share. Start to finish? Yeah, like with probably 30 people before starting like my course because I got to the point where I just didn't I mean, I think you're going to get to this where you just didn't have hours in the day and you're like, "What

30:56am I doing?" Yeah. [laughter] How torturous was that? It's horrible. I mean, I come from the tech world where I like Yeah, I felt like I was back in tech support. Like, "All right, click on the button." Like it just tough, right? Cuz people don't And like bless everyone's hearts, they don't know what they don't know, and I was that that

31:10slow when I started. But it's like it Yeah, it's it's tough. It's tough. Very tough. And I remember being on this 2-hour call with her, and we had just finished setting up a gig. And we both were like you know, our eyes were just like, "I can't open my eyes anymore." Like we were so drained mentally. I got off the call, I was like, "Oh hell no, I can't do that again." Of course I did, but And then she was like, "I can't even look at this now. I have no idea." That night, cuz I gave her my number, it was a totally different time. I gave her my

31:41number, and that night at 10:00 at night she goes, "Hey, I have somebody interested to book a job with me. What's a custom offer?" And I literally was like, "I just pushed her into the deep end." And I was like, "Sink or swim. Here you go. Have fun." good luck. Yeah. That you know, and here it is 10:00 at night, and I'm just like, "Okay, you do this. You do that. You do

31:59this." You know, and she got the order. It was like a $60 job with her dog, and I was so excited. And then I met Abigail Pugh. Do you know Abigail Pugh? Do you know who that is? Um really big on Instagram, incredible. Her and I started around the same time. And she was doing UGC back then. She was really pushing that. And her and I were talking via like, you know, I made a lot of creator friends friends back then, and so we were talking DMs on Instagram, and she was like, "Arabelle, you got to get a guide. You got to get something up." And I was like, "Okay, fine." So I

32:29set up a guide. She helped me set that up, and then she kind of helped me create my first viral video. Which was I make two million I make two million. I wish. I make $2,000 [laughter] in a day, and she helped me craft that video. That's awesome. And it blew up. Yeah. Yeah, it blew up. It went it went viral. I made like

32:49$3,000 in a weekend. And of course helped so many people. I was like, "Oh, wow. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay." And again, with the guide, people were in my DMs. How do I move forward with here? How do I move this? How do I do this? And I'm like, "Okay." There's two sides of it, right? I obviously want to help as many people as possible, and it's another income stream. And now learning that one income

33:15stream is not enough, okay? Yeah. No one should rely on one income stream. I was like, "Maybe all these videos that I'm making helping people and helping them get on Fiverr could actually do something for me other than just for fun." And so, kind of with her help, and then I put together this like my first course. Oh my god, it was uh

33:38It was on Teachable. What a nightmare. Very raw, very messy. Like I had no idea what the hell I was doing. But it sold. It did well, and people did really great on it. I have a lot of success stories from that year, which was like 2023. Those creators that took that course now are making six figures on Fiverr. Jenna, Olivia, Mandy, so many of them that I've I've helped from the very beginning. And so, it became this extremely rewarding process of helping people like you know, and another income stream. And so I said, "Okay, I will keep showing up online if I can actually make money from

34:14this because until you're a content creator showing up, you really don't understand how much time it takes to do these videos, you know? a lot. They're It's a lot. It's a lot, and there has to be something. There has to be a give and take, you know, for that time. And we needed to get out of that house. [laughter] And so it was a win-win. I created my Facebook group, da da da da da. Fast forward, the the course has now evolved so many times, and now it's UGC Fiverr Academy. It has combined all the courses that I've created over the last couple years into this program, and it's

34:48obviously better than it's ever been. It's the best version it could be, and I'm constantly in there updating. We moved platforms. We did all all kinds of things, but what's incredible about growing a following and talking about something you're passionate about is you never know what kind of doors it could open, you know? It's what an incredible opportunity to All you need to do is show up and talk about

35:12something you like. Yeah. Talk about something you're interested in. And it can change your life, and it truly has. With TikTok now, I've I got into TikTok Shop in 2024 at the very beginning. Every video went viral. You can scroll down on my Freelance Big Sis and see my big chunk of just TikTok

35:29Shop. Made 40 grand in a couple months. That's sweet. You know, put that into savings. Um Amazon influencer, I got into that program, made a couple grand there. All of these opportunities come from growing your following, which I know is the the benefit of UGC, but if you're already showing up on camera and you're you're talking to the camera, you're showing up, you're doing that, also create an account. You don't even know where it's going to lead, but I promise you if you continue showing up, it will lead to other streams of income, and it's incredible. It's an incredible

36:01opportunity. Yeah. So that's my life story. I love it. I love Yeah, I think [laughter] it's like I think it's great because there's so many things that are relatable in what you just said. Right? Like one of I 100% agree with you. Like one of the things that I love most is like seeing people like seeing like real change, right? And like you know, it's it's one thing to like sling a course and like you know,

36:24someone pays and they never open it. Like that's that's not like yeah, I get paid for that, but that's like not for me when I see that like I'll say someone like three weeks three weeks later comes in my life like, "I haven't opened the course." I'm like, "Dude." Like that's that's like buying something and then don't Yeah, like buying something and then not using it is crazy because there's so many people that were in situations that like where they got laid off. Like I've interviewed a couple on this podcast where they got laid off and like Fiverr was like literally what kept the lights on, and they were able

36:52to You know, there's like so many things stories, and I'm sure you have tons of those, too, where it's like like it doesn't matter what situation you're in. If you have a phone and access to a computer, I have I've had people go to the public library to set up their Fiverr if they don't have a laptop, you know? Like just go for a day, set it up, do have your video rocking ready to go, and then go upload it, and you don't

37:10ever have to get on that computer again. You can run edit everything from your phone from that point, you know? Exactly. Yeah, there should be no excuses of like what situation you're in. I feel like a lot of people are maybe in Like and and I don't care how well you're doing. Like I feel like you should always have a side hustle, right? Especially like I came from tech, right? And one of the reasons one of the biggest reasons that pushed me to go full-time UGC was like every 9 10 months lay off, half my team gone. Lay off, you know, three people gone. And so I was like I was just like

37:41always on the chopping block, I felt like. And I worked for Yeah, and I worked for a great company, and and and I think there's a lot of people out there that are they can relate. Like I don't care how cool and awesome your job is. Like you always have to have a backup plan, and like you said, multiple streams of

37:55income. Um yeah, I agree with that. So I want to go back to the Fiverr portion of that real fast. So now that you've had like years to to like dissect what happened, what was the thing? Like what was the What did you do wrong? Like from people that heard that are like, "Okay, 5 to 25." Five seems way cheap. 25's definitely more reasonable. Like what Like what did you do wrong? Should you have stepped it up

38:20slower? Yeah, I'm so glad you brought it back. Yeah, I'm so glad you brought that back up because it wasn't until I think 6 months later 6 months later when I was talking about it. I was talking about it, and somebody was like, "Yeah, that happened to me, too." And that's when I started having all these comments of like, "Yeah, that happened to me, too. I don't know why da da da." Was it 6 months? I think it was 6 months later that I can't remember exactly what it was. I think it was my theory. It was my theory, and I actually didn't prove that theory until I got a

38:49success manager, which was a year and a half ago. So it was my theory that I edited too many times in a month. So like you could see I think I edited three times three times in a 2-week period, and I was like by me going in and editing, especially your pricing, in a short period of time, you basically just like Fiverr needs time to re-rank you based on your edits. Right? Like if you go in and make an edit to your website, for instance, you have a website on Google, Google needs time to now send their their bots and all of that to scan your website and re-rank

39:25you, right? Same thing with Fiverr. So Fiverr's going to go in, and they're going to look at your gig. They're going to re-rank you based on the new edits that you have. Sometimes it's a good edit, and they bring you back up, you know, just like when you tweak your gig your gig title, and all of a sudden you go up to the first page. By going in and editing too many times, you will you could potentially see either a decrease in impressions or a complete fall off, a complete derank. Um my my success manager confirmed it about a year and a half later and I REMEMBER BEING LIKE,

39:53"YES, I KNEW IT." HE was like, "Yeah, we don't want you to touch your gig for 4 to 6 weeks after you make an edit." And I'm like, "Zack, why wouldn't you Why Why isn't that public knowledge?" need to put it somewhere. Why don't Why don't we know that? So he was saying 4 to 6 after one like any edit?

40:09Any edit. Oh, that's crazy cuz I've had success managers tell me three to four. And I've had different success managers Fiverr's, you know, recently had a layoff so they have to change people and I'm like I don't like doing that but I I love the success manager the the CSMs is what they're called. I absolutely love them

40:24but they I know more than them. Yeah, [laughter] yeah, a lot of them are like not UGC specific. They're just Fiverr specific. So if you would have waited 2 3 4 more weeks, you probably would have seen it start to crawl back up. You're like, "Dude, I don't have time for that." Like I Like [laughter] I

40:38don't have time to not make money. Exactly, I was scared and that was the first mistake, right? Is going from 5 to 25. It got so quiet because first of all, first let's go to our repeat buyers that we already talked about. They're now looking at my gig and they're like, "You're way unaffordable now. Like I used to order a $50 gig for you from you and now you're $200, you know, like what How am I supposed to you know?" So some of them were fine with it. Very few were fine with it. Most of them were not because voice over a lot of the voice

41:06over artists will get hired by the video editors on Fiverr. Cuz they were also sellers. So they will hire the voice over artist to do for their video editing or their video animation. And so that was the first mistake and that's what the first thing I learned which is if you go to edit your pricing, do it very very small increments, five no more than $10 at a time because that also tells Fiverr like you can keep me on this page. I have a theory. I haven't confirmed this but I have a theory that Fiverr wants to have a balance of gig prices on a certain page. So they'll

41:38have a handful of $100 gigs. They'll have a handful of $50 gigs. They'll have a handful of 20. You can kind of see that when you look at the pattern of the page where there's not a lot of outliers. You know, there's not like a lot of 15 compared to like 25 50 like you could just see that there's a pattern. So my theory is that they want to have a certain number based on that like threshold essentially and then when you get out of it, when you get out of that price bracket, you then get resorted and that could mean

42:06you can go on to another page. Yeah. That's just my theory. And it seems to be true because I've had a lot of students use that theory. Um so I like to say no more than $10 at a time. That's not I mean obviously there's exceptions to everything. Sometimes it just works out for you like whatever, it's fine. But if you want to play it safe, I guess it's $10. So if I would have crept it up very slowly. So because you're only supposed to edit one time a month, I suggest doing like $5 every month, you know? That's a very small jump that you'll eventually get to where

42:35you need to be. My other piece of advice for that that I've now seen with so many students is when you are doing well, that's just my burnout burnout. Get the reviews. Get as much work as you possibly can. That's just my theory like burnout, get the reviews and then when it slows down because it always will. It will always slow down. It doesn't matter how successful you are or not. There's ebbs and flows in every business. We're not 9 to 5ers. Yeah. It's just it's the nature of the beast. I've now experienced that from so many years working all kinds of things. There's going to be ups and

43:08downs. When it goes down, then you can go in and make some changes and increase your price and tweak your gig title and all of that but I have a lot more to go into that like there's three main components of a gig that make a gig really successful. Your gig title, the intro video and your

43:23price. Those three are the the heavy hitters. So if you're going to edit one of them, only edit one of them at a time. So don't go in and change your gig title. Yeah, yeah. Update your video. Yeah, yeah. Right. And then if it crashes, well, which one is the one that did it? Yeah, I don't know. You got

43:42[clears throat] to isolate the problem. Yeah. Exactly. You already know. You have the the experience on that. Like the tech idea, right? Like isolate the problem. You do one thing at a time. So if it doesn't do well, you can go back. You can And that's my biggest gripe, man. I could talk about this all day. Why doesn't Fiverr have an undo

44:01or past revisions on a gig? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I know what you're saying. Go back to versions. Yeah, versions would be sweet. Yeah. Right. There's a lot of little things that Fiverr drives me nuts. And I mean it got through you. I know you got the in with Fiverr. I just tried to I I've been talking with them not to make this about like all about Fiverr but I'm trying to get and we'll probably we'll get into your event in later on as well but I'm trying to get them to like do like a sponsorship and they're like, "No, we

44:29won't do it." I'm like, "All right, cool. Thanks." Like between all the coaches coming including you and the like I'm like we've probably helped like 20,000 people get on Fiverr but okay, no worries. It's okay. We'll be okay. Like it's just so annoying. I'm like they just don't seem to like want to take feedback from us as the as the as the sellers which is

44:47frustrating. Well, I have to tell you and I don't know if you want to keep this in or not. I didn't know about your event because I've asked them to sponsor a couple months ago and we're still in negotiations. I haven't got the email yet. committed." [laughter] But it's fine. I'm sorry. No, no, no. I hope I hope they do somebody's. Again, this is what I say. I say this on my TikTok lives all the time. I don't care

45:11if you buy my course but start UGC. Fiverr, I don't care if you sponsor my thing but support your freaking sellers, dude. Support your sellers. Like you've been doing this way longer than me. Like 100% they should go to yours. But It's happening. But I'm hoping that they they actually do it. You know what I'm

45:27saying? Cuz I'm like, dude. Yes, yes. So just like take all of your sellers and say like, "Oh yeah, we're not going to support like all these people that have helped like I don't know how many thousands of people you've helped get on to Fiverr." And then you equate that to a dollar amount back to Fiverr by the way cuz they take 20% and I'm like, "Dude, like

45:45you should be paying me to come here. You know what I'm saying?" It's like why right? [laughter] But Um I have to say I'm I'm very grateful uh to Fiverr. It's it's changed my life multiple times. There are of course, you know, ups and downs or things that we don't like about every platform but Fiverr does have uh some things that they're they are working on it which is exciting and I am a now an official community leader. So by me talking about Fiverr all the time and helping so many sellers and they've realized that like, "Wow, our UGC category on Fiverr is actually the number one demanded service

46:18on Fiverr." that's so awesome. I know. Love it. And so last year, so this is we're 2025, February of 2025, I got invited to their Fiverr Go event That's so that's so cool. So they they actually flew me out. They paid for my hotel, lodging, everything, airfare, flew me out there and I covered the event, put it on my page, all that. It was great. And then they were like, "Hey, we want you to come ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange." And when they invited me out there, they were like, "Would you like to be an official community leader?" And I was like,

46:52That's so cool. I'm freaking out. I love it. I love the platform. I've gotten to know so many team members there now. I now know the UGC manager at Fiverr but it's been incredible. It's an been an incredible ride and then of course they featured me on the billboard which was I remember getting the email and I ran out and I was like, "Babe, babe." Just like screaming throughout the house, you know, like, "Oh my god." Cuz like you said, sometimes they don't really, you know, anyway, favor uh sellers too much and so I was like, "I'm not going to get it. The Fiverr millionaires will get

47:25it." Like I'm not going to get it and I did and it was pretty wild but UGC itself and just showing up on camera is an incredible incredible opportunity that again, you just don't know where it's going to go and it takes time and I think you're experiencing this too, right? In your community where everyone's so excited by the potential that they think it's going to happen

47:45right away. Overnight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It takes a minute. Like like I always tell people if I if I would have I usually start to get complaints for about the month mark from people that don't have it yet. They're like, "Hey, it's been a month and I haven't got anything. This is a What a waste of my time." And I'm like, "Dude, if I would have quit after a month, like I'd still be working a 9 to 5 right now. I would not I would have just like not got my first order cuz it took over a month from like start to finish to get my

48:09first order." Right? And so like just yeah, be patient. I I think I tell people that all the time. Also, don't just like you're talking about diversifying your income streams. Diversify your UGC streams. Like you yes, Fiverr's my favorite. It's your favorite. It's the it's the go. We love it but it's all it's not the end all be all and sometimes you're going to have low seasons with Fiverr and it's going to ebb and flow. So put your eggs in other baskets because then you're going to be able to get orders on other platforms, Insense, Influenster,

48:38Backstage, take your pick. Also posting on social. Like if you want to take this seriously, maybe you don't. Maybe you're like, "Hey dude, 500 bucks a month is good. So I'm just going to let my Fiverr cook. If I get a couple orders here and there, that's great." Okay, cool. Then that's that's your end goal. Do that. But if you're like, "Hey, like in your situation, you're like, 'Hey, I financially I freaking need something ASAP.'" Get on Fiverr but then go get on Upwork. Get on all these

49:00platforms. Start posting on socials. Make a portfolio with eight fake videos. Change your outfit eight times. Grab eight products. It won't be the best portfolio but guess what? You're not married to it. You can always update it. Go get on X. Get on Reddit. Like frustrates me when I hear people that are like, "Oh, this is dead for me. UGC is not for me." I'm like, "No, you're just not putting the work in. Like you're just not putting the You got to You got to get up there in in like like you said, you have to show up, right? You have to put yourself out there. You never know if someone's going

49:30to see your random Instagram video about like it could be as easy as grabbing your phone and say, 'Hey, I just listened to this podcast. This is day four of my journey. I've been following this girl named Arabelle. Like, what do you guys think? Have you guys heard of Arabelle? And like literally somebody a brand might see that and see your demographic, see your look. Maybe you're bald with a beard and they're like, "Okay, this is the person I want. Hey, we want to reach out to you. You do UGC? We need a 53-year-old to do UGC for this video, right?" Like you never know how like putting yourself

49:56out there is going to help. It like it's only going to help. It's never ever going to hurt. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. And I feel like a lot of people are like, "Well, which one should I do first?" I love that. Everything you said was exactly exactly what I would say. Like 100%. You got to got to spread that out, but not not to the point where you're overwhelming yourself. But if you're like a new new creator, you've never created a video before in your life, like you said, create just create the samples. Work on the samples because if you have never created content and now you're putting

50:25yourself out there, right? You're getting on Fiverr, you're doing all these things and then you get a deal coming in, but you haven't been practicing this whole time. You're going to be in full panic mode. You're going to be freaking out. You're going to be like, "What do I do? Somebody help me." Continually practice. Go to other UGC creators, see who they're representing, make a video about that brand, you know, do all these things where you're constantly practicing. And like you said, create your account, create your socials, talk about your UGC journey because getting that follower count up can also change your life, you know, with all of these different things. So,

50:56I love that. I think that's exactly what it is. This is an incredible incredible opportunity. It still is. But we do have to understand that it is a different time than when you started, when I started. When I started it would it just started trending. I got I don't want to say lucky and I I almost don't like when people say like I wish I would have

51:14started. Then don't say that in a year from now. Start now. The person in a year from now is going to be like, "Man, I started when you started." So, it's just what it is. Start today and do one simple little thing, one tiny little step. It doesn't have to be everything. It just has to be the one step that you can do to inch towards that goal. I like to say now that we're reaching the end of the year, the week between Christmas and New Year's is the best time. I love that week. The kids are busy playing with

51:44their gifts. They're out of your way. Yeah. Uh brands are quiet. Nobody's emailing. Work is quiet. That is the best time to work on your business for next year. I cannot stress how many things I've done in that week where it's catapulted my business like by miles because it's quiet. There's no distraction. You know, you're able to sit there and focus on your goals. And if your goal is for is for UGC or to get on to X or to build your Whatever it is, where whatever stage you're at, that's a great time. You know, holiday breaks are good time. Pick these times that are slow for you that

52:23you can really work on these different aspects of your business because it truly is a business. It's a creator business that can change your life. It can truly change your life. It's very exciting. Yeah. No, I love that. I think that Yeah, there's a lot of misconception that it's like unattainable for people, but like like I love like one thing a day. That's that's great. Anybody can do something that takes 15, 20 minutes a day. Get off your phone for 20 minutes. Stop scrolling for

52:4720 minutes, right? Or get on your phone and get on your phone and take a video. Yeah. Like like it's not have a scrolling problem, too? Uh yeah, it's bad. I mean, the problem is I'm like I mean, it's it's like partly for I'm like, "Okay, I'm trying to like I'm trying to manage social stuff." And then and then I get sucked in. I'm like, "Dude, I got to throw this phone in the

53:06garbage, you know." [laughter] I literally throw it on the couch. I'm like, "I'm done. I can't scroll anymore." Um it's such a waste of time, but then we feel like we're doing research. I know. I'm like, "Is this helping me, right?" Yeah, 100%. No. Yeah, I set a time screen limit. That's good. I need to start doing that. So, I want to I I

53:23know that we've been going for a while. A couple more things. Any any other last going back to the Fiverr gigs if you you you gave a couple great suggestions. Any other last suggestions if your Fiverr is, you know, {quote} {unquote} dead, like that people can look into and then I want to talk about your community for a second. Yeah. Um if Fiverr is dead, create more gigs and optimize. I say if you create a gig and it's quiet, you're not getting spam, you're not getting

53:47seen. So, my biggest hack is I love spam. Literally, I love spam. Fiverr spam is the best. Take advantage of it. So many people don't realize this, but spam is your first couple of messages. It's totally normal. If they ever ask for a credit card or they're having issue with an order or they want you to contact

54:06them on Telegram, it's a scam, okay? Don't fall for that, please. But reply. Reply right away. Hit reply, hit enter, and then block them. And that will get you get your response rate up. So, what I've seen a lot of times, it's not even the gig that's the problem. It's the response rate. So, if you're just starting out and you are not taking advantage of the spam and you're just like annoyed and deleting them or blocking them, your response rate's going to go down. And if your response rate as a new seller is going down below 80%, 70%, like 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, Fiverr's like, "You're

54:39not even on the platform. Why should I give you work?" Yeah. And they're just going to push your gig down. Yeah. So, you want to get your response rate to 100% and spam's going to help you do that. So, reply, hit enter, then block them. Unless Fiverr does it first, but most like most likely you'll be able to reply. That also opens up your quick response panel. Your first message opens up your quick response. So, once you get the quick response, fill it in. Fill in your quick responses as quickly as possible because like no, thank you, I'm not interested. That way you can just send that out to more spam. But then

55:09also put your what you're going to quote, like all these different things. So, when you're out and about, you know, once you get a message in from your gig, you got to be on that. You got to be sending out a quote. You need to be closing that deal in 15 minutes or less. There are 20 other people on that page that guaranteed that buyer is sending it

55:28to 20 other people. Yeah. If you're not the first one to reply, trust me, somebody else will be and they'll close the deal. Move quickly. And if your gig is dead, either your gig title is not optimized for the keywords or your intro video is not hitting the mark or your price is too high. You know, that's that's really the biggest one. I feel like so many new sellers are like, "Well, I charge $80 off of Fiverr, so I'm going to charge $80 here, but I have no reviews." But here's the part that gets me. They set up this gig and I appreciate it so much that they're doing

55:59the gig and they're showing up, but they'll have experience outside of Fiverr and then they come on to Fiverr and they're like, "Hi, I'm Arabelle." Yeah, yeah. I'm like, "WHO WHO IS THAT? Mock video. Yeah, yeah, mock video. Don't be weird. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why Why are you showing up like a newbie? You may be new to Fiverr, you're not a newbie. Show off what you can do so brands can see that and they could say, "Oh, okay. You're new to Fiverr, but you're an experienced

56:23creator. I'm willing to pay $80." Yeah. You know, or whatever it is. So, start low, have your gig title optimized. There's a lot of really great little, you know, hacks here and there to tweak it a little and then wait the 30 days and then make some more tweaks if you're not getting the orders coming in and set up more gigs. Set up more gigs. Yeah. Love it. I could go on and on and on. Yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah, I love it. A lot Yeah, a lot of people don't realize that that they can do more than one gig. Like that general no niche gig and then niche

56:49down. Everyone's like, "I don't have a niche." Yeah, you do. Where do you live in Utah? Okay, you have mountains. Do an outdoor niche. Do you live Do you have a pet? Pet niche, right? I need to do a family gig. I still haven't put my family gig up there. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's really I learned that from that gig getting deranked. When my voiceover got

57:05deranked, I had only one gig. So, at that moment I was like, "I'm a level two seller. I could have 20 gigs. Why do I only have one?" Yeah. And that's when I realized to have more because if you have more gigs, if one slows down and the other ones pick up, then you're good, you know, then you have like a nice balance. But when it's just one gig, you can really feel the

57:25highs and lows very drastically. Yeah. Very, very drastically. Yeah. No, that makes sense. That makes sense. All right. So, before we wrap, Arabelle, I want to talk about your community. Can you Can you kind of talk about what you're You've talked about kind of how it's evolved, which I loved hearing how it's like, "Okay, now this is like the best of everything I've learned" type thing, which I love that. Can you talk about your community, what it includes, and then not to put you on the spot if there's promo codes for listeners cuz I'm I always like to put it in the show notes in case listeners are like

57:54"Arabelle's my girl. I want to join her community." Then they [laughter] for Thank you for listening to the podcast. Here's a promo code. I would love it. I would love it. Thank you. Um yes, so UGC Fiverr Academy is the culmination of multiple courses. So, my Fiverr Mastery, which was my first one, and then I came out with the UGC production to teach about like staging, lighting, equipment, wardrobe, like how to actually make a

58:15UGC video. I at one point had a UGC bundle and I go That was too confusing. People are like, "What?" So, I put it all together, organized it very nicely. It's in 12 modules. It's called UGC Fiverr Academy or UFA. And that is now my official signature training as an official community leader. Fiverr loves it. They've seen it and it's really exciting. Um so, everything that's in there is kind of almost like approved by Fiverr. And basically it teaches you not only how to start because starting is is hard. It's hard. What I have found, as we learned in this in the last 10 years

58:50of my life, scaling is a lot harder. That's when things get really difficult. How do you break out of the $35 gig? How do you actually get to five figures a month specifically on Fiverr? And so, that is what UFA is all about. It's how to get your gig up in 2 hours or less. Great. Awesome. Now we're going to go to the next step. How do we actually get our client experience? How do we get our Fiverr Choice badge? How do we get to

59:12level one? How do we unlock more gigs? How do we look better to buyers so that when we're on that page with 20 other sellers, we look the best and we're prepared and we're ready. So, it's a 12-course module uh 12-module course that will walk you through all of that and then some. I have some InShot editing tutorials, all of that. So, I really give you like a full overview of UGC and then specifically Fiverr how to start and how to scale to five figures and I'm very grateful that really now the entire community we have secured over $2 million in brand deals with the

59:45UFA strategies. Yeah. It's really very very exciting. Um I honestly I I didn't know it was that much and then I put out a post saying, "Hey guys, if you've made over 5K on Fiverr, can you like send me your gigs?" And I was like inundated with gigs and it was like, "Yeah, I've made 330,000. I've made 300" and I'm like, "Oh my god, are we at like 2 million? This is insane." Um so, it's very very exciting, extremely rewarding. So, everything from not just my success as a Fiverr seller, but also these creators that I'm very close with now that I've helped go from $400 to over five figures. I mean,

1:00:22Jenna's pulling in 21,000 20,000 a month just on Fiverr. That's crazy. I know. It's limitless potential. Her and I, she's an admin inside of my UFA community. So, anyway, she is also in the community, like I said, an admin. So, the community comes with the course. It's a Facebook group. It's a free Facebook group. I know not everybody loves Facebook, but it's free for you and it's free for me. So, it's a win-win. Yeah. And uh yeah, you get into the program, you get into the community as well. We have 1,700 creators in there now. And yes, I do have a promo code. If you use the code

1:00:57if you use the code UGC101, you'll get $100 off. So, that will bring it down to 197. Yeah, 197. That's lifetime access. At the very bottom of the course, I have a change log. You can literally see every single edit I have ever made. So, I'm in there probably every other week tweaking something to make sure that everybody understands how to get through the program very quickly and get their gigs up as quickly as possible and then scale. And then, I also have another community which we didn't really talk about, but why I mentioned diversification and growing your following and tapping into all of these

1:01:31things is my Creator Five community. Yeah. Um over the last 2 years, like being like I said, growing your following and tapping into TikTok Shop, Amazon Influencer, like making money in all these different areas, I'm changing my family's life and it's because of five streams of income. And so, my philosophy now over the last year and a half, every creator should have at least five streams of income, which is why I call it Creator Five. So, Amazon Influencer, UGC, TikTok Shop, growing

1:02:00your following and affiliate marketing. Like, if there's a course or a product that you love, you can earn that way. LTK, Shop My, there's all kinds, Benable, there's all kinds of affiliate options now that by you just showing up, people will go buy something and you make a chunk of change. Yeah. It may not be life-changing, but it all adds up, right? And so, in Creator Five, it's a private Discord community. We started at 24 a month back in April. We're now at 32 a month and by summer, I hope to be at about 70 a month because it's myself and 10 other coaches that are experienced in each of these

1:02:36area and and we literally guide you through all of these. So, how do you go from UGC to now tapping into TikTok Shop, AIP, all of these things? And we now have after just a couple months, we have creators now hitting five figures because of the five income streams. That's so awesome. So, it's incredible. It's very exciting. I want to see you guys succeed. Like I said, this has changed my life so many times over now and it all comes down to one thing and that's social media, showing up on camera, putting your face on camera and making it work, making

1:03:07this into a business that it truly is. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. That's awesome. Well, you guys check out that link, use that UGC101 code. Arabelle, this has been super awesome. I loved hearing your story. Um that's that's why I have this podcast, right? I think a lot of people like I don't know, they see people on social media and they're like, "Oh, that's so like oh, she you like you probably get it all the time. Like, must be nice, right? Must be nice." You're like, "Dude, you don't know the half of it." So, I love hearing people's stories how they got into it. Like I feel like

1:03:34everybody can relate and learn something from everybody. So, Yes. super appreciate you being on. You guys go follow her as well. I'm going to link her socials in the show notes as well as well, Freelance Big Sis. Um and then that that course will be there, but appreciate you and we will see I guess we'll see you in a couple

1:03:51months in uh in Yes. Fort Lauderdale. So, we'll we'll talk I guess we'll talk about that. Do you want to do you want to plug that or no? Oh, um I mean, that's fine. I'm having our first in-person event. It's It's more like a community-driven event and a little bit of public tickets, but yeah. Inbounds 2026 will be February 28th. Um very excited in Fort Lauderdale and then I'm excited for your event as well where I will be a guest speaker at UGC Creator

1:04:15Connect. So, that's going to be awesome. I'm super excited about that. That's going to be I how have your topic? Do you remember your topic off the top of your head? Actually, I'm going to tell you the topic. Diversification. Diversification, just what we've been talking about. Yep. Creator shoutout five streams of income. How to diversify as a UGC creator. Uh so, yeah, that's going to be good. I think 2026 is going to be the year of the in-person events cuz I think we're all just like Yes. these solo these little yeah, trolls that were like don't see any humans. So, we're like, "Now we got to

1:04:39come socialize with people, you know?" Exactly. We have to meet. We have to meet and give each other hugs. Exactly, 100%. [laughter] All right. Excited, Arabelle. Appreciate you taking the time to chat. We'll talk to you later. Thanks so much. It was awesome. Thank you so much, everybody. Thank you, Nate. Have a good one. All right, that's it.
