0:00All right. So, ladies and gentlemen, right in front of me here, I have a lead list that is just shy of 10,000 individual decision makers that includes almost every single decision maker in this client of ours total addressable market. And so, this list is insanely valuable to them. They can use it to run cold outreach. They can use it to run ads to. This is almost every single contact that they can potentially reach out to and sell their services. And so, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how you can build something like this for your business. you can have almost every single decision maker in

0:28your total addressable market mapped out. And I'm going to show you step by step exactly how you can do this. And more specifically, I'm going to show you two different methodologies. And the first approach I'm going to show you is an easy approach using one AI tool that can capture a lot of this data straight out the gate for you and make it super easy and simple for you. And then for all my technical people that want to get every ounce of data out there, I'm going to show you another way that takes a little bit more effort, but I'm going to show you exactly how you can do it to

0:53squeeze almost every single person in your market. And so, real quick, if you don't know who I am, my name is Matt Lucero. I run Ano, which is a cold outreach agency. We send over 1 million cold emails per month and have scraped tens of millions of leads. So, I know a thing or two about scraping leads. And so I'm going to show you exactly how you can do this for your business so you can have a targeted lead list of people that want to buy your products or services that you can reach out to. All right, so before we start scraping some leads and clicking some buttons, I have a few

1:21terms that I want to define for you here because it's going to make your life a lot easier whenever you're scraping leads. It's going to make your process a lot more efficient. It's going to save you a bunch of headache from targeting the wrong people. So there's a few terms I want to define here. The first one being your total addressable market. So, I'm going to put TAM for short. Your total addressable market. Your total addressable market is basically every single person in your market that is capable of buying your product or service or the people that you want to target, right? So, let's say I'm a

1:52private equity firm and I want to buy companies. Your total addressable market might be companies in the United States, right? Or business owners in the United States. If they are not a business owner in the United States, it's impossible for a private equity company to acquire them because they don't have a business to acquire or they're not in the geography that they're capable of acquiring them in. Right? So, your total addressable market is basically the biggest possible slice of every single person you can reach out to. Now, within your total addressable market, there is a smaller bucket here. This is your ICP or your ideal client profile. Now, your

2:25ideal client profile are the people that you desire most or the the people that are the best fit for your product or service. So, going with this private equity example, maybe a private equity company can acquire any company in the US, but they want to acquire manufacturing companies in the US that have at least $5 million a year in revenue. And so, that might be your ideal client profile. Now, within that too, maybe your ideal client profile is owner operators. Maybe it's people that

2:53are second generation business owners. There's all kinds of other uh things you can be a little bit more specific in here because again your total addressable market while it's you know every company in the US technically you could reach out to CFOs or COOs or you know not to go too deep into this example but there's so many different people you can reach. There is a smaller bucket within that that are your most

3:14ideal people you should reach out to. Now the last kind of slice within your market are what I'll call segments. Now a segment is just a slice of your ideal client profile. So using this example of manufacturing companies are doing more than $5 million per year. There might be, you know, injection mold plastic manufacturers, there might be, you know, furniture manufacturers, there might be um, you know, all the different types of

3:40manufacturers. I can't even think of. I'm not in the manufacturing space. But all that being said is there's all these little pockets within your ideal client profile that are kind of specific subtypes, right? To use a different example, if I went to a bunch of doctors and I said, "Hey, medical people," you know, that is somewhat defining of what the people are in that room. But if I say, "Hey, dentists," that's a subtype of a medical professional, right? Or cardiologists. But if I call a dentist a cardiologist or a cardiologist a dentist, they won't identify with either one of those terms, right? So you have bigger kind of bucketed terms, but the

4:15more specific you can get with your terminology and the different types of people that are within your ideal client profile, the better. And ideally, in a perfect world, these are the lists that you should be building, right? So to be clear, there's all kinds of different lists you can build. You can build a list of your TAM. So that's every single person that can buy your product or service. That's going to be the biggest list possible. Within your TAM, you might, you know, chalk out a bunch of people and say, "Hey, we can serve these people, but I don't really want to serve those people." And that's your ideal

4:42client profile. And then your segments. Your segments are just kind of slices of your ideal client profile. And it's important to understand uh segments. And these are probably the list you should be running in whatever marketing or outreach campaign you should be doing because segments is where you can be more specific with your language and have the most kind of specific targeting. Right? So when we run cold outreach campaigns for our customers, we never just scrape every single person and just blast them all with an email because if you do that, you're not going to be specific with your email. people

5:10aren't going to respond to your email. So, just want to be clear whenever I'm defining these terms what your end goal even is with the list that you're going to scrape. If your end goal is to scrape every single person in your total addressable market, great, right? But just know what you're going to do with that list. And sometimes it's more of a pain to scrape everyone in your total addressable market and then segment it afterwards instead of maybe just starting with the smaller segments and then you can make one big list of your total addressable market. So there's lots of different ways of going about

5:38this, but I just want to define these terms before we start clicking buttons. Um, so you know exactly what I'm talking about. Now that is the terminology. Now let's talk about the strategy because I think this is important. Um, so when it comes to strategy, you can either build your total addressable market, you can build your ideal client profile, and you can or you can build multiple different segments within that. But I think it's good to kind of define that before you go in and start clicking buttons because if you do all this leg work of determining what you even want in the first place, it's so easy to go into a

6:08tool and just say this is what I want and it'll pop up. The big mistake I see a lot of people make is that they don't define what these terms are and then they mix and match a bunch of different stuff from here. So they might, you know, use the headcount from their total addressable market, but then they target, you know, a million different job titles and then they target one sliver of the market, uh, or one sliver of an industry, which might work great if you want to target that small slice of an industry, but if your goal is to map every single person, you know, the

6:36the strategy changes. So, not to get too convoluted here. Um, the main thing I was just want to talk about is before you go into any of these tools that I'm about to show you, uh, it's really good to have an idea of what you even want to scrape in the first place. So, I'm just going to build a segment within this kind of hypothetical campaign of, you know, private equity company wanting to reach out to, you know, companies to buy or whatever. So, let's say we want to reach out to CEO and founders. And let's say we want to reach out to people in the software as a service space. So,

7:04people that sell software companies or run software companies, um, let's say we want them to at least have five employees up to 50 employees. And because they don't want this list to be a gazillion people big because there's tons of software CEOs and founders between the five and 50 mark, um, let's say we want to limit it just to San Francisco, right? Because that's a hub and that will allow us to be a little bit more narrow with our search. So, this is a hypothetical list we're going to scrape here. Again, this is more just like a random kind of picking of different criteria. If you, the viewer,

7:34is watching this video, I would first encourage you to understand, do you want to scrape everyone? Do you want to just scrape your favorite people? Or do you want to scrape something for a specific list and again build your criteria with that in mind? Segments is probably going to be the most like campaign ready people. Um, I know a lot of people want to scrape their TAM just to have the TAM

7:51and then ICP is kind of in the middle. But anyways, um, this is the criteria we're going to scrape uh for now. And again, like I said, there's kind of two ways that I'm going to cover in this video how we can do this. One is uh using a new tool that I just discovered which is really cool, very simple, uh about as easy to use as you can possibly imagine and will allow you to scrape leads super quickly. And then the next way is using multiple tools and will be a little bit more comprehensive. The first tool that I want to talk about is

8:18get leads. So get leads, it's gets.io. Uh this is a company, shout out Ryan, uh that he just came out with. Um and they are basically a unlimited data tool. So they have uh you can scrape unlimited amounts of data off their platform and it integrates directly with all the AI tools. So you can use quad uh codeex whatever else you want to do do and scrape leads natively through there which makes it super intuitive and easy

8:45to scrape leads through their platform. Uh so if you're a beginner it's really easy to just type in what you want in plain English and it will go out and find it or if you're more advanced um I think there's a lot of value here in just being able to uh scrape an unlimited amount of leads. And so, um, you can check this, uh, tool out, uh, if you want to grab a plan. It is more expensive, but you get unlimited data. I think it's $500 per month. And, uh, I'm going to flash a code on the screen. I have a code that I negotiated with, uh,

9:12the Get Leads guys. Gives a small discount, so you can check it out if you want. Um, but anyways, setting up this tool, super easy. you can go over to their MCP and, you know, if you want to use Claude, which is what my AI of choice is right now, um, you can just follow this quick settings tab here on how to set up get leads, have it hooked up to your account, or you can use it natively through their platform. So, you can search for leads natively through here. You can enrich leads. This is the function that's going to be more useful uh, for someone a bit more

9:41sophisticated. And then there's all kinds of other stuff you can scrape, you know, company's LinkedIn followers. But I just want to show you how cool this tool is if you know exactly what you want to do. So, jumping into Claude here after you set up this little integration through their website. Uh, and I think they also have a free plan. So, if you want to test this out, I think they give you like a 100 or a,000 credits for free. Um, I'm just going to use their sample prompt to show you uh how easy and simple it is if you just want the easiest possible solution. Um, you can

10:06see this is their demo prompt. Find decision makers in the marketing department who are based in the US at companies that have a headcount between 10 and 200. And if I copy this prompt straight into Quad, again, this is after you install their uh connector, if you don't have their connector installed, Quad is just going to, you know, go out

10:22into the ether and try and find stuff. But if you have it set up with Get Leads, they have a database of, I believe it's like 32 million people, or I'm corrected, 402 million people. Um, and you can just talk to in plain English. You can see Quad wants to use get leads. I'm just going to say uh always allow. So I can go and just use get leads connector. And uh again, this is the demo prompt. I'm going to go back and write a prompt based on what we just talked about here. And it's going to go out into their database. Again, it's an unlimited model for the paid plans. And

10:54it's going to go out and find these decision makers. I'm going to press allow again. And you can see over the course of about uh what was that? 50 seconds or so. And you can see here there's so many people. If you include managers, it includes up to 150,000. It has so many people here. And if I want to, I could just say, "Hey, can you export this? This is 82,000 people. I don't want to export all 82,000 people because that's too many people for right now and that's not even the list I want to scrape. But just to show you how easy and simple it is, it's literally you you

11:22can use a tool like this, set it up to a prompt and it'll go out into their database and uh grab people very simply and easily. And so if you want the simplest, most brain deadad easy thing to do, all you have to do is use a tool like get leads, connect it to your quad, say in plain English what you want. And I'm just going to go back to our mirrorboard. So, we want CEOs and founders at SAS companies between 5 and 50 employees in San Francisco. So, let's say, can you make me a new list of CEOs and founders of SAS companies in San

11:56Francisco? All right, cool. Let's say we want CEOs and founders at software companies in San Francisco. Um, and was there anything else between five and 50 employees? between five and 50 employees, right? Let's try this prompt here instead. And then we can use Get Leads to go out and find us this big list that we can just export directly. And while this is loading, I'm going to pop back over to Get Leads and talk about all the different data points that they have. And so, if you go over to their website, I'm going to go over to our data here. And you can see this is

12:27all the different contact points they keep track of on all their leads. You can see contact, location, job profile, company, HQ, location, tack, funding, headcount. So even if I want to say, hey, I want these companies in San Francisco that just raised round of funding, which would be fitting for companies in San Francisco, I can find people that raised funding in the last 6 months, right? Just by prompting it. I

12:47can filter by different apps they have. Uh I don't know if this is on the app store. Looks like it's on the Apple app store. Hiring. So you could see, you know, uh companies that have a certain amount of marketing roles open, IT roles, demand genen. Again, you can just prompt it in plain English. So, if you want the easiest possible thing, this is the first thing that I'm going to point pretty much everyone to at this point because it is as simple as hooking up something to Claude and talking to a plain English. Just like that, we have 2005 contacts. And then I can say yes, I

13:17want to export these. And I'm going to allow this. And just like that, the export is ready. I'm going to press download CSV. I'm going to open this link here, sheets, not new. All right. to download that link. I'm going to open this link here. Beautiful. And now we have this big, beautiful lead list of uh just exactly what it said, 2006 or 2000 2,26 different people, all their different information, their first name, their last name, their email. It validated it too. Their current job title, their business function, their website, their employee LinkedIn. And you can see here, maybe you can't see, but all these companies have between five and 50

13:55employees. And you can see all of these companies are based in San Francisco or somewhere that has the word San Francisco in it, which it looks like there's Union San Francisco or wherever else. But all that being said, that is the easiest possible way that if you want to scrape people as fast as possible, you can use a tool like Get Leads. This is where I'm going to point pretty much all the beginners that have the budget to afford a tool like this because it is as simple as talking the thing and it spits it out. Now, I love Gat Leads. I think Gat Leads is an

14:22amazing tool. But if you're someone who likes complexity or you want to grab every ounce of every decision maker in every market, the best way of doing that is always going to be leveraging multiple data tools. One data tool like gets in this example has 45 million people that is just one set of data.

14:38There's so many different data sources. There's so many different data types. There's so many different data platforms. And so if you want to get the most comprehensive set of people, the way to do that is always by leveraging multiple tools because multiple tools will have different data points and by stringing them together you can get the most comprehensive output. So just to show you a different way of doing this again leveraging AI because there's so

14:57many beautiful AI tools that do this. I'm going to pop into a tool called Disco. Now what Disco does um is Disco is not exactly a database. They are a scraping company that has basically every uh company in the world indexed. Most tools either grab their data from LinkedIn databases or from Google maps. Disco like uh my understanding of how it works when uh talking to founder is probably like uh 6 months back at this point is that they index based on

15:25websites that have an SSL certificate. And so uh I'm not super technical with literally everything about the internet, but basically any real company has an SSL certificate. You can see here the connection secure icon here means that this website has an SSL certificate. And so they are able to scrape that at scale is my understanding of how this works. And so Disco again is a really great tool if you want to grab coverage of a bunch of different companies. And so I'm going to pop into Disco and show you uh how it looks here. And so Disco again, it has an ICP kind of prompting function. So, let's say I want to do the

16:01same thing that uh I put in uh good old quad here. And I'm going to say I want CEOs and founders of SAS companies in San Francisco between five and 50 employees. I'm going to press analyze ICP. Cool. And so you can see Disco pulled in some filters here. So they put software as a service as a uh industry group. Then location. I'm going to put a state of California. I don't know if

16:23they actually have a city function here. So I'm just going to use the state of California. And I'm going to put include. And then let's say for the employees I want to do I don't think Disco like has specifically a 5 to 50. Let's just do 11 to 50 as an example. And then I'm going to press uh submit. Going to press apply all. And so you can see we scraped only 100 people. Let me actually bump this up a lot higher. I'm just going to throw it to 10,000 just for the sake of this to see if there's

16:50as many as 10,000 people in California. I'm going to press submit. So you can see we have 10,000 companies here. We're actually capped at 10,000. So, if we want to scrape more, um, that means there's at least 10,000 that they found. And so, um, this is a lot of companies. And you can see here, the cool thing is that this tool can scrape companies that aren't on LinkedIn, which is kind of rare. Most company data tools pull off of uh, companies that have LinkedIn profiles. And so, you can see there are companies here that don't have a LinkedIn presence. Granted, most of them do that we're able to scrape. And so,

17:22this is just by using a simple industry keyword like uh, SAS. If I wanted to go even more granular, let's say I wanted to find uh companies that send cold emails, right? So, I could put a lookalike domain of instantly instantly.ai. Just to show off this tool, I'm actually going to remove uh California or I'm going to remove some of these other city and state stuff here. But let's say that we're going to add a lookalike domain of instantly.ai

17:45and smartle.ai. So, these are like cold email sending tools. And I'll say instead I want to find cold email uh sequencing tools put analyze ICP and then I'm going to press apply here and add in all the different stuff that uh Disco like suggested and I'm going to instead I'm going to cap this out at call it let's just say 100 records. I'm going to press submit. And so you can see going way deeper. Um, what's really cool about a tool like disco like is that you can give it lookike domains and it'll find tools that are hyper specific like cold email sequencing tools. Normally that would be

18:21a very tough ICP to find. And you can see it's pulled a list of a bunch of different uh tools that has keywords that relate to cold email automation. Now again we'd want to do a little bit more here to make sure that they're accurate. I can see some tools here that aren't exactly cold email tools. But then after you grab this list here, I can press this validate function. And then I can add a prompt which is I want you to visit these websites and validate

18:47if they are cold email softwares or not. If they are not a cold email sequencer, output false. And if they are a sequencer, output true. Perfect. I'm going to just run this on all of the leads here. And so now you can see just like that we have this uh list of a couple hundred people that we scraped. Um we use AI to source the different uh example companies. And then we had another AI agent deploy to make sure that they're actually a cold email sequencing tool. You can see it's mostly accurate. So we have a couple nos here or falses. But you can see it actually

19:25did a pretty good job by its own um by its own account. Obviously you'd want to double check and verify these. And if I want to export these into a list, I can just press this export to CSV button. And then if I want to grab the contacts, I can either go into Disco like they have their own kind of contact feature or uh I just use a tool like Apollo or Clay here. Just to keep it simple, I'm going to pop into Apollo. I have tons of videos on uh Apollo on this channel. And there's so many different tools. Again, I just want to keep this simple, but I

19:56can go into a tool like Apollo, go to companies, include list of companies, then I can import uh the leads I just scraped here. Perfect. And then I can filter for the leads that are actually uh cold email tools. So, I'm just going to delete all the ones that are not. And that looks like a majority of them. Can copy it just like this. And then I can go back into Apollo, paste it into their

20:20company feature, press save and search. And so now we have found 426 people that work at these 92 cold email tools. And so if I want to reach out to the decision makers, now I can throw in different job titles. So I can throw in CEO and throw in owner and throw in founder. Let's say I want to reach out to, you know, marketing titles. I can put the keyword marketing or whatever my heart desires. And then if I want to uh email these people, then I can export them. Can email them directly in Apollo if I really want to. I can export as a CSV. And so you can see just like that I

20:51export all those people. And you can see if you know what you're doing, this only takes a few minutes. If you have the tools already built out um in using a stack that is more than just get leads. Again, no offense to get leads, but if you use more tools in combination to have a more robust workflow, you're

21:06going to get probably more coverage. That is a more complicated version, but again, it requires more tools. Um and again, this isn't even the most complicated way you can do it. Not saying that complicated is better. So, all that being said, we have this list now from Apollo. And to finish things off, we're going to want to validate the leads, which again, a tool like get leads looks like it does for you. So, I can pop over into the validation tool of my choice, which is list here. I can upload this list, download it, and it'll be ready to go. So, just to show you a

21:34few different ways that you can get leads. There's really two kind of main leads. So, just to sum things up, there's really two ways you can go down to get leads. There is tools like funny enough get leads that just do everything in one go and they are on one polar end of the extreme which is the easiest simplest to use allin-one tool where you can literally connect the thing talk to it in uh a AI search terminal and just like that you have your leads and on the other end of the extreme you can go through a bunch of different tools and by going through a bunch of different

22:05tools in a lot of cases it can give you a little bit more coverage it can give you a little bit more flexibility again get leads has 400 million people in their data base. And so if there are people that you want to reach outside of those 400 million people, there's all kinds of different tools and workflows

22:19that give you more additional coverage. But again, it comes at the cost of time and complexity. And so you can look into other tools. All right, so that's the full lead scraping process, A to Z. And everything I showed you here today is stuff that you can implement right after watching this video. So pick the tools that you want, pick the leads you want to scrape, go out and scrape those leads. And if you're running a B2B business and you want someone to run a system like this for you, do all this work that I just showed you, scrape the leads, write the emails, and run

22:46outreach emails to actually book calls on your sales team's calendar, you can apply at the first link in the description below. And if you want to learn how to turn a list of leads into booked calls on your calendar, you can watch this video
