0:01Okay, so we're in Japan. [laughter] I started to receive crazy alerts on my phone. Immediate evacuation order. It's scary as [ __ ] so I think we have to pack everything and get the [ __ ] out. [music] Ship or die crew, you're awesome. Only two of [music] the people have been kicked out. 155 out of ship, 22,000 [music] commits,

0:2317 million lines of code. [music] We just landed in Japan. I was cooking a little bit, but someone else have been cooking for real, and this is insane. Look at that from the cookman. The true wealth is from the health. Wow. If I don't live until 120 years old with all this food. food [music]

0:57Huh. What is that? Whatever it should be. [music]

1:12[music and singing]

1:19Don't you dare give up on your startup. Don't you dare give up.

1:30What do you think? This is the fun part. It's been exactly 30 days we launched ship or die. So that's the deadline for people to actually ship a startup or not. And we get some numbers already. In total we've had roughly 300 people joining the ship, including like 200 people joined 30 days ago, and about 100 people more people joined recently. How many startups do you think have been shipped

1:50out of 200? 150. Yeah, 155. No way. Yeah. I got it. Yeah, that's awesome. 155 startups for developers they will relate to this. 22,000 commits and 17 million lines of code. Oh, the success rate is nice. Over 75% people who actually shipped. But there will be more. This is exactly 30 days. That means people who joined and shipped within 30 days. But some people joined like 25 days ago, so they still have five more days. That's why it's actually it's going to be way more than that. So turns out like putting

2:22pressure on people work. Yeah. And so now the juicy part. 57 startups have connected their account, their Stripe account, and made money for a total of $33,000 made in the last 30 days. It's a lot, man. This is my happy place. This is like a revenue leaderboard of all the people who joined and the money they made. This is connected with Stripe. And most importantly, two people have been kicked out. Like literally kicked out. Like kicked out means they lose everything. And we don't refund their money. So they lose access to Discord, they lose access to the platform, they lose absolutely everything because they signed an oath,

2:56a pirate oath that says they agreed to ship a startup within 30 days and they did not do it. Well. There has to be consequences. There has to be consequences. We publicly shame them on Twitter. They're walking the plank. And then their public profile page wasted. wasted. Sorry, Antonio. You're wasted. Yeah, I mean I feel sorry for him cuz he's a he has a big YouTube channel with 400,000 subscribers. I think he was busy doing YouTube work. But the rules are the rules, but

3:21you know, that's just that's just life. Ship or die crew, you're awesome. And we're just getting started because we're preparing something new with Jack.

3:35I started to receive a crazy alert on my phone. Then I asked ChatGPT to translate what that means and it says it's a level four evacuation. This alert is not a joke. It's an evacuation order, immediate evacuation order. And outside there is like a Hunger Games stuff. It's scary as [ __ ] so I think we have to pack everything and get the [ __ ] out. If anyone sees this video, this is probably the last thing I'll ever say to the camera. Parents, I love you. I love you, my friends. I love you, everyone. I hope you build your project and you ship a

4:03lot of stuff.

4:10[music]

4:16[music]

4:22[music and singing] Konnichiwa.

4:31[music] I hope you don't see what's underneath the table. So, we're going to do onsen for ourselves treating our hard work. We wear traditional yukata. I haven't figured out how to tie the note, but it works. It's good. It's good. It's good. We're in a nice room. It's a nice view. Well, it's time to stop shipping and have some onsen. Let's

4:54go. Sayonara. Sayonara. Sayonara. [music] It's so thin. I really like it. It's a private room. It's onsen hotel and you eat privately. All right. The camera is absolutely not straight. Good? Oh, yeah, the menu is here. Mhm. It's inside. Woah. This is this. Okay. Yeah. It's cold. Ah. We're going to have horse sashimi.

5:22This is a two layer. Yeah. Oh, two layer. Oh. [laughter] I think it's the same. Ah, now it's starting.

5:35Wow, I have no idea what this is.

5:41[music]

5:46[music]

5:54Hey guys, I need to share this with you because it's kind of insane. So this is my website trustmer.com and it just crossed 200,000 visitors per month, which is insane. It's the all-time high. It's also all-time high for the revenue, $37,000. The expenses are like, I don't know, $500 a month or something because I don't optimize anything, but it's mostly pure profit and it's just me running this little thing by myself. I just hardcoded this entire thing in like 6 hours. The market has decided that, you know, trustmer.com would be the place to you know, trust revenue and it keeps growing and growing. So it's like

6:27an interesting use case on how you can just make things without thinking too much and, you know, if you keep making stuff, then at some point some of them might take off. So that's why you remember to never give up. [music] This is Farmer Wants here. I heard the breaking news, so we're going to

6:47investigate Mark, what's going on. Hello Mark. Hi. I heard there's a surprising news today. Well, you pumped Evan. Dude, I found an absolute champ on the internet, French guy named Cyril. This guy is making around 300 to 400 dollars per day. He's selling a notification so that you get an alert if you can buy [music] an air

7:10conditioner in France. He knows what [laughter] to split. This is insane. The guy made almost a thousand dollar on the launch day because now of the heatwave in in Europe, people are like just crazy going to buy [music] AC and so they're buying those portable AC, so of course it's out of stock and this guy just made a system where you just get an alert when it's available, so you can go there and and buy it. $6,000 in two weeks. The guy is a genius. The pricing [music] man is like [ __ ] subscriptions. It's five euro for a week of alerts and then ten euro

7:40if you want a month or something. You're the legend man. So find the shovel if someone needs a well. Nice zero. [music] We did. Who is the king here? Is it recording? Man, this YouTube channel is going to end up being like the most random things. People they open to see stuff like software and stuff and then suddenly they see a toy. Actually, I was making this video cuz I wanted to brag a little bit. This time I want to say I'm very proud of myself because something special happened today. New milestones. It's connected to a long story of mine. If you've been following the channel for a

8:13while, you know that I launched ShipFast 3+ years ago now, made over a million dollar, almost full profit, and started to have this weird thing on social media where like some people would say, "I don't know, it doesn't count or you know, it's not cool because it's not a software product." Which at the beginning I didn't really listen, but after hearing it over and over, it started to get in my head. I'm like, "Wait, did I actually make anything great at all?" For some reason, it made me more motivated to work on like software product like DataFast I'm working on the moment. Stuff that are less like one-time payments, more like

8:43subscription-based payments. And today is a big milestone because this is the first time ever DataFast actually reaches 4,000 dollars. This is the daily revenue, which I'm very proud of. The farmer is also proud. At the same time, I was able to work on all my portfolio. So Trust and MRR made almost 2K. My little CodeFast course also, which in the end ends up making over a little over $7,000 for the day. That's big and I think it also shows that you can basically succeed at anything as long as you put in the time cuz DataFast take like it

9:16took almost two two years to get there. Trust and MRR, even though the launch was crazy, it took seven months to get to a point where the revenue was steady and coming from acquisition and not sponsorships. But that really shows that you can really do anything you want if you put your mind at it. So don't you

9:32dare give up. Don't you dare give up. Don't Don't give up. Don't you dare give up. Don't you dare give up. Don't you dare give up. Don't you dare give up. [music]

9:50What is this sexy cube? Me. [laughter] You're in my office, man. This is This is my startup office. So, today is another important day for our farm, which is marketing or die. There are basically two major updates. Right now, people say like oh yeah, and the market like it's nice to make stuff, but I want to learn marketing as well. So, what [music] I did is I gathered three of my friends who are now teaching marketing lessons inside of Ship or Die, and everything is gamified. So, now there is my friend Jack Freak, who is also working on this with me, who is teaching short-form content to get like millions of views on

10:23TikTok and stuff to get visitors for a startup. There is my friend Elias, who is teaching SEO. There is my friend Nico, who is teaching Facebook ads. This guy turned my $25,000 on Facebook ads back in the days into $75,000. And then, all of these courses are now included inside of Ship or Die, and then there are missions connected to it. And you have to get real results because you have to upload screenshots, and then the app is going to check whether or not you get your results, and then if you don't, you're kicked out after 30 days. [music]

10:49And then, another big update, this. Wow. Now, Stripe is an official sponsor of Ship or Die, which means every pirate in the crew who signs up for Ship or Die will get $250 worth of Stripe credits. People are happy with it because if you're sure you're going to make money is basically a Ship or Ship or Die is

11:06almost zero dollars then. Yeah, this is the V2 of Ship or Die, man. Oh, nice. The crew is getting bigger. I don't want to I have to show you the crew. Now, we have a bunch of people and there are shipping with a bunch of startups up there. 38 people have been kicked overboard. We kick roughly 10% of people overboard. That means nine people out of 10 actually ship a real startup

11:25within like 30 days or marketing now. Bye-bye, 10 people. Bye-bye, it It nice seeing you. They're now in the sea. Oh, oh, wow. They're here. Yeah. They contributed for the nature. Hey, shark a fit with organic humans. So, if you're having hard time on marketing, this is the perfect time to learn it from the masters and then also

11:45get some little discount of the strike. Ship. [music] So, a prolific Indie Hacker, Jon Yong Uk mentioned that he's getting way less traffic from Google, which probably means less revenue and growth for his [music] software. It became a little topic in our community where Peter Levels said that he sees a trend of declining

12:10revenue and traffic for Indie Hackers. To him, the issue is that big AI like those all those big labs, they're able to recreate any software and there is no purpose to sign up for a little Indie Hacker like us. Since I run Trust MRR, I checked the data and this is right. The median growth have been declining or being steady. Now, funny thing is none of my startups are going down. This is the best month ever for Data Fast. This is also the best month ever for Trust MRR. So, I will show you a little bit what I'm doing in order to make my software like AI proof. So, the first

12:42one is Trust MRR. And this is where I'm focusing like almost half of my time because it's a marketplace and a marketplace [music] is a moat because it sells trust. And this is not something AI can reproduce. And the second part is basically like surfing trends. So, this is Data Fast where I also spend like another half of my time on it. I just added recently two big things. The number one, everybody wants to know, you know, how AI is interacting with a website, like how does OpenAI, the labs behind the the, you know, AI assistants are crawling their websites, like searching for data on their websites and

13:16training their LLMs based on their websites. [music] And so, I added like this stuff where you can see the traffic you get from those AI labs. You can see what they're training, what pages they're training [music] on. And the second part, it's still in beta, but it's going to be released very soon. I'm working on AI visibility for any website on Data Fast. It's basically going to show the how AI mentions you, like ChatGPT mentions you versus other competitors. And then it connects with the traffic, [music] so it shows like which pages ChatGPT recommend and generate revenue. Again, the reason I'm working on this here, I'm making a big

13:47shift from working on like traditional web analytics, which will at some point be replaced by AI to a new vertical that is trendy. And another part about moats and stuff, this is a new product that I released a couple weeks ago, I don't even know what day it is, called Stoker, which basically like fetch [music] mentions of a branded keyword. This is the dashboard for Trust MMR. It shows like people who are mentioning Trust MMR on X, YouTube, Reddit, soon podcast,

14:12newsletters, and a bunch of other stuff. This is data that is kind of like hard to get. This is something I use myself, and I also believe that social medias are not going to open their platform so that AI can just train anything they want on them. And so, I believe this is the moat, which is why I'm also working on this little side project. I hope you're seeing growth. I hope you're making a lot of money, and I'll see you

14:30in the next one. Cheers.

14:38You know, Leo is playing with like motion design stuff in AI. So, if you want to Leo, you can put us into Antarctica. Right now it's like freezing cold. Pow! Wow, there's a tree there. Wow, that's amazing. There's so much snow falling falling down on us. Hello, lover.
