This is the full transcript of I built a lead generation machine using GrokBot (w/ Firecrawl), published on YouTube by Firecrawl. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.
0:00The number one use case for fire cruel right now is people enrichment. So getting company and people information like their name, their position, their LinkedIn profile, and their work email all from a single prompt using your favorite AI agent. And if you're a Claude user, I've already covered this topic in a previous video, but this one is all about Grockbot. I'm going to walk you through the process of building your own enrichment bot that you can give a type of company and a location. And it will give you loads of information about that company from their name, their ratings, their decision makers and work emails. And it can put this information
0:35in a CSV for you to go through or to create cold emails from. Now, I'm not sure about you, but Grockbot has become my daily driver. I use it to summarize and send emails, go through Slack messages, give me YouTube data, and I even use it to manage my coding agents that run in the terminal. But giving bots access to firecrawl makes them even more powerful. Here is a prompt I ran earlier to find series A AI startups in London. And straight away, my lead scout bot gave me a bunch of information all about these companies from what they do to their decision makers and then even
1:10found company logos. From there, I asked it to focus on a single company, so Finster AI, and give me a list of their decision makers with their work emails. And it managed to give me all their LinkedIn profiles, as well as some work emails, which I've blurred out for GDPR reasons, but it's also put it in a CSV for me to save and put inside another agent or in some kind of CRM. This works on the Grockbot app. You can set it on a schedule to find you leads every day, every 6 hours, or whenever. And it could even do it when you sleep. So let's go
1:41through the three simple steps you need to set up such a useful bot like this one. First you'll need to connect firecrol to Grockbot. And there are many ways you can do that from asking the bot to add fire crawl to clicking it here searching for it and then clicking on add. Now the way this works is that it installs the firecrol on Grockbot's computer along with these 10 skills telling it what it can use firecrol for. And depending on when you're watching this video, the Grockbot app might have updated to use an MCP server, which is similar to the way our
2:15Claude and ChatgPT plug-in works. Anyway, once you've done that, the next step is to sign up for a firecrawl account. You can start off with the free plan for a,000 credits a month and only upgrade when you start to scale. Then in the dashboard under Alexandria, search for Apollo, then click on provider terms. Make sure you've ticked the people related providers review and then agree to the terms which is needed because it returns personal data from real people and there are certain laws around that. Then back in the main dashboard page, make a note of your API key which you'll need to give to Grockbot. Now, as I mentioned earlier,
2:50you may not have to do this depending on when you're watching this video since we might have switched everything to the MCP server. But anyway, let's now move on to the next and final step, which is to create your bot. And you could do that by clicking on the plus here and going through the process of creating a bot. But personally, I like to use my main chief of staff bot to create new bots for me. So to do that, I can say create a bot called leadfinder 2. When I give it a type of business and a location, it should use Firecrol Alexandria to find matching companies,
3:27pull their reviews and ratings, and find the key decision makers with their name, title, LinkedIn, and work email. Tell me why each is a good lead. Put it all in a Google sheet or CSV with sources. So, now it's going to go through the process of creating another bot. Now, with this bot created, I'm going to ignore this questionnaire and give it a task. So let's say I want to find AI companies in Santa Monica to help with their marketing. Give me a list of AI companies in Santa Monica and it's using Firecrawl Alexandria to do that and after a while it returns a bunch of
4:01information about all the AI companies it found in Alexandria and put them in a Google sheet which shows company name, website, gives an address, a rating from Google maps, Facebook and even glass door. It gives decision maker names, titles, LinkedIn, and emails which I've blocked out for GDPR reasons. But there's so much information here for lead enrichment all from a single prompt. Now, in case you're wondering how firecrol is different from using the regular agent tools, I have a similar prompt looking for accountants and financial advisers in Brighton, UK. And I compared the results from Alexandria
4:36to regular claude using a GPT 6.1 judge. and Alexandria came out on top mainly because firecrol Alexandria provided direct emails for the senior people and the built-in tools weren't able to do this. So basically firecrol wins for any people enrichment needs and fire crawl Alexandria can be used for much more than people enrichment from getting public records to financial information to travel information and much more from over 300 providers. So go and check out firecruel
