0:00AI is going to take over social media and then it'll take over YouTube. And when it does, it'll fundamentally change how business building works in the future. But it's not all bad. There is a hidden silver lining and that's because right now between 2026 and 2030, we are in the Goldilock zone of attention and distribution. AI is not good enough to replace human creators today. And it will never be this easy for you to grow a personal brand or scale a business with content ever again. Now, I live at the intersection of AI and content strategy. I have over a million followers on the AI side and hundreds of
0:33thousands on the content side. This is all I do all day long. And the truth is, I do see a path forward for creators and business owners to futureproof themselves so they can keep winning even after the AI takes over. So, in this video, I'm going to break down the five things you must do in your content right now during this Goldilocks period. And if you do them, you'll put yourself in the best position to keep winning no matter what happens. All right, the first point is to really understand how human psychology will change as AI takes over. Simply put, how are people going to behave differently once they start
1:04seeing all this AI content everywhere? This is the fundamental question you have to understand. So, to frame this for you, here's what's going to happen today. People scroll on their feeds largely unaware of AI content. I'd guess 1 to 2% of all the posts you're seeing are completely AI generated today. Some you can tell are bad AI fakes, and some you can't. They're basically imperceptible. But over time, as the AI avatars get better and the AI data feedback loops improve, that percentage
1:30is going to creep higher and higher. More and more of the posts you see are going to be made by people that don't exist. And this phenomenon of fake AI content on your feed is going to scale to infinity. It's really inevitable unless the social platforms choose to stop it. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. I wouldn't plan on it. Now, once the AI content density on your feed gets to be about 20 to 25% of the posts you see, you're going to start noticing the AI effect. And if you don't notice, you'll hear others talk about how they
1:57notice, which will make you aware. Either way, once you're aware that AI content is everywhere, your behavior is going to change in several key ways. The biggest one, and the one that I care about most as a business owner, is that humans default trust rate is going to go down. Today, you might be able to stumble across someone you've never seen before, watch one video, and then click, like, follow, and maybe even buy. It's never been easier to turn a cold stranger into a fan. But in a world where everyone is actively worried about AI content, you're just going to be way
2:25more skeptical about everything you see. You may be willing to watch, but you're definitely not going to interact, click, or even buy anywhere near as often cuz you're afraid you're going to get scammed or duped by a fake AI. In other words, it's going to take way more effort to get somebody to trust you. And fundamentally, this is the biggest
2:41threat to creators and business owners. Because if you can't get new viewers and customers to trust you, well, they're never going to buy your products. And that will completely change how marketing works at the core. Cold emails, cold content, cold calls, they're going to be way less effective when every human is skeptical of everything. So what does all this really mean? What it means is that if somebody already trusted you before the skeptical AI era, that trust will carry over and they will keep trusting you. And that right there should be the light bulb moment for you. This is my hottest take because I think having a cult-like
3:11personal brand you built before AI will pay way more massive dividends than anybody realizes right now. And that's because your trust with viewers and customers will be grandfathered in. Now, don't get me wrong, it'll be super hard to grow from scratch during the AI era. But if people already trust you, they'll think to go to you even more because they can't trust anything else. So, if there is one thing that I would scream to all of my friends that are business owners and growing companies, it's that you need to hammer content during this Goldilocks era and compound trust as fast as you can. Now, tactically, if you
3:42buy what I'm saying, what does that mean for you specifically today? Well, A, you got to start making content immediately if you're not already. As a business owner, this is the most important lever you could pull right now. And B, you need that content to deepen trust faster. And you need to ramp those
3:57people off platform to places you own. So, for the rest of this video, I'm going to walk through the four tactical shifts that you should make to your content today so that you can speedrun this trust building process. Now, the formula for building trust is actually very simple. Trust equals minutes time relevance time usefulness. And there are only three things you can do to improve those variables and increase trust. The first way to increase trust is to increase the number of minutes someone spends watching your content. It's pretty simple, but if they watch more and it's good, they're going to trust you faster. Now, to get them to watch
4:29more, you can either A make more videos for them to watch, that's increasing volume, b make longer videos for them to watch, that's increasing length, or c make videos that are so compelling and unique that they need to binge a bunch in one session. That's increasing bingeability. Let's quickly double click on each of those. Making more videos is pretty obvious. You want to increase quantity as much as you can while holding relevance and usefulness constant. We'll talk about those in a second. Making longer videos is also pretty simple. If you make 30-cond videos, make 60 seconds. If you make short form only, add long form. If you
5:00make shorts and long form, add podcasts or live streams. And again, when you do this, the relevance or usefulness cannot go down or increasing minutes will not increase the trust score. The main point is this. To compress trust building in a given period, you need as much highquality volume as you could possibly make. And as a case study, why do you think Hormosi is posting so much on shorts and YouTube plus doing a 2-hour live stream like every other day? He's both increasing the quantity of his posts and the average length. And it's because he realizes how trust approval works. The more onarget minutes
5:31consumed, the deeper the trust will be. It really is as simple as that. Now, the third way I mentioned that you can increase content minutes is to make content that's so unique and memorable that viewers want to binge immediately. And what exactly does this mean? You want to make videos that are immediately remarkable to the viewer. And this means coming up with a super distinct visual style, some unique, really memorable set, amazing storytelling, super unique ideas, something that makes your videos inherently more bingeable. And if you're going for this vector to increase
5:58minutes, you want to ask yourself this. If someone were to watch just this one video, would it make them want to binge a bunch more? Now, you'll still need enough volume for them to binge, but that first video creates this chain reaction and kickstarts the bingeability. So, if you want to increase minutes, you can either do more, do longer, do different, or do a combination of those. But simply put, if you want trust to go up, you need to
6:20increase minutes within a given period. More minutes equals more trust, as long as the two other variables stay constant. Now, the second variable in the trust equation is relevance. Think of this like a percentage. Imagine there were a hundred of your dream ideal viewers in a circle. What percent of those hundred would find each video relevant? Your goal is for this to be a 100 out of 100. And the relevant score in that case would be 1.0. But if only 20 out of 100 found the video relevance, well then your score here is a 0.2. And again, this is pretty obvious, but if you make a video that's not relevant for
6:50someone, then that's not going to help them trust you more. Tactically, when you're thinking about relevance, this maps back to topic and idea selection. The cheat code for increasing relevance is to narrow your niche and positioning so tightly that every video you make falls only within the ideal avatar's desire zone. Any topic outside of that zone should be ignored. That is not something good to make because it's not relevant. When you have rigid guardrails on idea selection, your relevance goes up and then your trust score will go up as well. Now, what I do to make sure relevance is dialed in, I go to sandcastles.ai, look at my competitor
7:20list, and I see what ideas they're making that are working. The ones that are working in the niche signal high relevance. So, I just let that guide which topics I make. And again, these variables are multiplied together. If you triple the volume, but the relevance is off, that's not going to increase trust. All right. Now, the third and final variable in the trust equation is usefulness. Remember, trust equals minutes times relevance times usefulness. And usefulness really is the mega one. This is the one that really
7:45will drive more trust quickly. Usefulness means that what you share in your content is both new and easy to implement for the viewer. If you share something, but the viewer can't figure out how to tactically implement it on their own, well then they're not going to trust you more for sharing it. If you share something, but it's not new, it's something they've heard before, well then they're not going to trust you more for sharing it. But if you share something new that they haven't heard before and that they can tactically implement to get the desired result, well then they're going to trust you a
8:10lot more from just that one video. Again, just like relevance, usefulness is expressed as a percentage out of a hundred. So if you imagine a circle of a hundred and all of them were your ideal avatar, how many of those hundred would have not heard the thing you're saying before? And how many of those hundred could take the thing you said and tactically implement it? You multiply that together and that creates your usefulness score. So if only 30 out of a 100red think it's new and tactically implementable, your score would be.3. So all you have to do to assess your trust score is multiply those three things
8:36together. How many minutes of content have you made? How relevant out of a 100red were those pieces of content? And how useful out of a 100red were those pieces of content? multiply together, that's how much trust you're acrewing. There's only five levers. You can make more videos, you can make longer videos, you can make more bingeable videos, you can make more relevant videos, and you can make more useful videos. Those five things are all you have to do. And I'm telling you, accumulating personal brand trust is going to be like liquid gold in the AI era because of all the things I said before around psychology. Now, I
9:06will say there's one more thing you should try to do as much as possible in addition to building trust. And that is to ramp as many viewers off of the social platforms on YouTube and on to private memberships or communities that you own. And this is because even if you get people to trust you, if you can't reach them on demand, then you're powerless to the social algorithms. So, what exactly does this mean? things like email lists, free communities, paid communities, private memberships, even private group chats. These are all services that you control the relationship between you and the members. There is no middleman. There is
9:38no algorithm with any of those. If you send an email to a,000 people, your deliverability on that email is 99.8%. Now, that doesn't mean they'll all open it, but at least you're guaranteed to get the message to them. With social algorithms today, when you post, only 2 to 3% of your followers are seeing the content. In the AI world, when the supply is ratcheted up, that number is going down. So, it is critical that you set up the infrastructure to ramp as many of these viewers that now trust you off platform to somewhere where you can interact. Now, how do you actually do that? The easiest way is through lead
10:08magnet funnels. Lead magnets are giving free access to information or free products in exchange for someone's email or getting them to join a free community. And when you do this the right way, everybody wins. The viewer gets a point solution to solve one of their core pain points for free, and you get their email, which derisks you away from the platform risk. Now, if you guys want me to make another video in the future breaking down everything we do around email funnels, lead magnets, and private communities, just comment something like, "Give me the email chef"
10:35and I'll know exactly what that means. We have a million-dollar funnel that we've driven millions in revenue through that just works so well. So, I'm happy to break that down if you guys want. For now, just know that it's just important to have these ramps and destinations set up as it is to make killer content. If you don't have a way to ramp them off, you're acrewing trust, but it's trapped in the algorithm. All right, guys. That is all I've got for this video. As a recap, we covered a lot of ground in this one. First, we talked about how the base human psychology is going to change
11:01as AI takes over social media. Then we walk through the three variables and [music] five or six tactical shifts that you can make to your content today to accumulate trust and build a cult-like personal brand ahead of the AI takeover. Lastly, we talked about why building funnels and private memberships to ramp people from rented platforms to owned platforms is so powerful. As always, guys, I'm trying to give you the absolute sauce when it comes to this stuff. If you're a business owner, I want you to win. I want you to use social media and YouTube to grow your business and win as big as you want. And
11:31I just want to end on this. If you're a business owner, it is critical that you take advantage of this goldilocks period right now. This free attention, post and get all these free customers will end at some point. We often forget that just waking up and posting a video and getting a million views doesn't have to exist forever. And it will not. And the truth is, you could have watched this video and just be whining in the comments like, "Oh, if it's going to be
11:52gone in 3 years, then why even start?" Or you could lock in, change your life over the next 4 years, and set yourself up to win in the AI era. It's up to you. But if you are ready to lock in, make sure to subscribe, join Wavy World, which is my free content community for business owners, and check out all the free stuff below. I'm literally just giving the answers away. All right,
12:10guys. That's all I've got for this one. I'm popping up a video here where I talk about AI and content a lot more. So, if you want to hear more thoughts on that and what I think will happen, click this video. But if not, we will see you guys on the next one. [music]
