This is the full transcript of I Let a GrokBot Build My Next GrokBot, published on YouTube by Kacper Rutkiewicz | AI Made Simple. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.

0:00Most people build their first Grockbot the hard way. They open up a blank bot. They type in a massive prompt and just hope it works. What ends up happening is your bot tries to do 10 things at once. You burn your usage and you're very unhappy. The good thing is there's a much simpler way and that's by having bots build your bots for you. If this is

0:17your first time here, my name is Casper. I'm the founder of Deeprooted AI. I use these tools every single day to run my business and I build them out for paying clients. My goal for this video is simple. I want to build a bot that I actually need and I'm going to use two different bots to do the heavy lifting for me. By the end, you'll know exactly which two bots you need to set up, how to get them to interview you before you build anything, and whether or not this should be how you build every single bot moving forward. So, get comfortable, grab some coffee, and let's hop straight

0:43into the video. Okay, I want to give you guys a sneak peek of what you're going to see later on in the video. I'm going to be using two specific bots to create this bot, which is what you're looking at on the screen right now. It does X research for me on my videos and generates an entire markdown report that looks like this. And it helps me a lot in a lot of these videos. And the best part is you don't write anything. You're going to follow this process that you're seeing on the screen. Exactly. You just answer questions. That's it. Let's get into it. Really quickly before we start,

1:07I get this comment a lot and I want to clear it up for you guys early on so you don't have any questions. There are two ways to actually access Grockbot. One way is through the cursor plans, which is how I would suggest that you do it and then the other way is through Super Grock plans. So, these plans range from $20, $30, $60, $200, and $300. So, there's five different payment options to choose from, two platforms. I would suggest the Cursor Pro Plus $60 plan because you get access to Cursor app and Grockbot, which is just the best value right now. I'll also take this time to

1:36ask SpaceX AI nicely. Please give us one unified subscription. Anyways, this entire concept runs on two specific bots. Each one of them has a very different job. First mate is your chief of staff. That's essentially your front door. It's the agent that I talk to every single day. And its main job is being the captain of your crew and routing everything to the right bot. One thing I do want to say about First Mate is its first instinct is to hire and develop new bots. So, make sure to communicate with it first before having it sign on any new crew mates. And if you haven't installed First May yet,

2:06it's as easy as clicking the link down below in the description for the Grockbot template, adding it to your team, and then having it just install itself. Once you copy it in there, everything will be taken care of for you. You have a couple conversations back and forth. you guys get aligned and then from there that should be the only

2:19bot that you talk to. Then we have Dr. Eggbot. And Dr. Eggbot is the bot designer developed by Lauren Tan who's on the SpaceX AI team. This bot will help you develop one type bot at a time. Give it one job, one voice, clear anti- jobs, which are things that the bot should never do. That's just as

2:35important as telling the bot what to do. And it also comes with Pstack integrated into it, but that's not something that you guys need to worry about right now. Now, I already jumped ahead a little bit here and I'm having a conversation with First Mate right now. I said, "Hey, I want to onboard a new ex research agent. Help me out with this." The first thing that First Mate's going to do because its entire job is to manage the crew is go and scan my crew and see if we have anything that's going to overlap with this bot because again, every single bot that I have on this team has one

3:01specific job and we don't need any overlap, right? So then it found out that there's nothing that we have for X research. And then it asked me one clarifying question which I'm not going to answer just yet. I'm going to go ahead actually and get Dr. Eggbot installed for you guys. So, we're going to go ahead down here to the marketplace, select it, and then we're going to go down to featured bots, and you're going to see Dr. Eggbot here. If you don't, you can just search it in the search bar, but we're going to go ahead and click on this. And you guys can see

3:23in the description, designs highquality Grockbots, asks a few preference questions, then creates them with create agent tool. This comes with instructions, memories, skills, routines, and integrations. Integrations. This is Pstack. So, I'll clarify it really quick for you guys. If you want to go fast, go deep first. Pstack helps you write less but higher quality code. This is specifically if you're using this bot to write code which at this time we are not. So if that option comes up, you do not have to

3:48enable Pstack or anything like that. That's fully preference to you guys. From here you would just click on add and then you'll get Dr. Eggbot onboarded for you guys. I already have this. This is Dr. Terrible for me. I have everything reskinned. So just understand that I'm talking about First Mate and Dr. Eggbot in this video that my bots might have different names, but don't get confused by that. Now, instead of answering this question directly with First Mate, what I'm going to do is

4:08actually tell it to hand it off to Dr. Terrible, which is my Dr. Eggbot, and I'm just going to go ahead and send this off. What I would do right here, guys, if you're saying hand this off to, I would just press the at symbol, and then you can go ahead and type in your bot's name and make sure you tag it specifically. This will help you save on usage and not have First Mate think of who it needs to hand it off to. So,

4:26we're going to hand this off to Dr. Terrible. You're going to quickly see here that Chancellor Dama sent a message to Dr. Terrible. It's reading the file now. And now, I'm going to show you a simple trick that makes Dr. your eggbots questions way better and get you guys aligned on the same page when you're creating this bot. So, we're actually not going to answer this question at all. What we're going to do first is

4:42actually grab a skill called Grill Me. And this is created by Matt Poco. This is easily my favorite skill that I've ever used because it helps us actually really get on the same page with our bot on what we actually want to create and then it creates it very smoothly on the first try. Now, this will be in the description for you guys so you guys can just grab it from there. But, I'm going to go ahead and copy this link, hop back into Grockbot, and then paste it. I already have this installed, but essentially what you would do is press enter. It would install the skill as a

5:08private plugin for you, and then you can go ahead and use it. You'll know everything's installed properly because you'll be able to go to the marketplace, go to your installed plugins, and then you'll be able to scroll down in your private skills, and you should see me like right here, we have GrillMe selected. So, it's all good. It's there. It's installed. Make sure you see this in your private skills before you try to

5:25invoke anything. Coming back to Dr. Eggbot now. All I'm going to do is type in /rilme to invoke the skill. And then I'm gonna have it interview me until we share one clear job. Ask one question at a time. Give a recommended answer every single time. So I can go back and forth with it. And then do not create a bot until I confirm. So let's go ahead and send this off. Again, we're not answering this first question that

5:45Grockbots's intentionally giving us. We're skipping past that and using this method instead. Now, I want you to understand we're using this because we're not actually writing the bot. We're just going to be answering questions until we get aligned. And at the point where we're aligned, that's when we're going to build the bot. After that, it's all testing. Now, of course, I'm not going to go through every single question because depending on what kind of bot you're developing, there may be a lot of questions here and we're spending a lot of time upfront so we could enjoy the process later and it's a lot faster and the bot just works better on the

6:12first try. It's not going to be perfect. We're going to have to be testing stuff, but the first rendition will be much better off if we do it this way. So, I'm going to go ahead and answer all these questions and when we're done, I'll get back to you guys. Wanted to hop in real quick while that question and answer is going because I want to explain to you guys exactly what we're looking for and five specific answers when we're building out this bot and why this interview process is so important. So what we're looking for here is the specific job in one sentence. We're looking for what it may read. So one app

6:37or one file, not the entire computer, giving it access to specific tools. So we're making sure we're scoping it properly. And then we're telling it what it must never do. So without even asking me, it knows what it cannot do. These are called anti- jobs. Then we're also figuring out what finished looks like. So lengths, sections, the decisions left for you. This will come in one of two ways. Either you already have the output that you're looking for, or you run the scale a handful of times until you get the output that you like, and then you set that as the golden data set, and then every single bot run from there

7:05will give you that result. And then lastly, once all of those are done, we give it the first real task, and we start testing it out. Now, it's okay to give your bots multiple jobs. Just understand that if in the description you have the word and in it when it's talking about the task, that bot will have two specific jobs. And that's completely okay. Just understand that distinction whenever you're prompting out these bots. All right, sweet. So, this is obviously a very simple bot, so we didn't have to go through too many questions. I think I went through 10 total and now the bot is being built out

7:31with Dr. Eggbot. But you guys can see here exactly what we wanted. We have the one job, we have the format, who can ask. So now I can ask, Chancellor can delegate it. Two of my other bots can also delegate to this bot. So only me and the three other bots can access and talk to this bot. It's getting created

7:46right now on the lefth hand side here. You guys can see X research. I'll later go ahead and reskin it. Give it an avatar. Give it a name and things like that. But it asked me, you know, 10 different questions. They're super easy to answer. Just make sure you're being very specific here and spending a lot of time upfront doing this. And now you guys can see the bot is fully created. X research is live in your research section. And I read it saved setup back to confirm everything. It lets me know

8:07to use it. Send it a video folder path. And the reason it asked me this is because this is part of my research process when I'm creating these videos. X has a lot of up-to-date information. It has a lot of pain points that people are going through, especially with Grockpot and things like that. So, I'll hand it that video path. I'll tell it exactly what I'm looking for, and then it'll go find that, create the research markdown file for me, and save it in the exact folder that I'm looking for. Saves me a ton of time, and I could do this from anywhere. Now, we can also go ahead

8:32and dive into the X Research agent. Now, we can see, hey, XR research here, the X Connector works, and you've got $6 in prepaid credits right now. So, it can look at my prepaid credits. It can tell me how much I'm actually using. It'll let me know as soon as I go to a $1 limit that it'll stop doing it and give me a partial pass, which is completely okay, and let me know that I need to refill my credits. But everything seems to be correct with all the questions that I answered. If I go ahead and click here, you can now see your X research

8:56for Ghost/Casper Deeprooted AI brand, AI made simple. In the description, we have its only job. We have when it wakes up, so it's on request only. There's no cron job here, so that's good. Who can ask? who's actually able to access it with the bot IDs, the input that we're looking for, the actual SOP that it's going to follow every single time and all the people that it's going to search up if it needs to. And there's just a lot of information here that I never wrote. The bot created it based on all the questions. We got to a point of alignment and then it went ahead and

9:23created the bot. Now, for the name, this is where you would change the name and everything and add it as a label. I'm going to go ahead and add research as the label for this bot. And then I'm going to go ahead, it's already in my research team, which is really cool. I didn't have to add that in there. It's a specific tab that I have for research agents. And there it is. Rockbot also recently added a voice feature, which is really cool. And you can customize the speed, the language, the voice, and get notifications from your bots whenever you want. So, I could always just hop on

9:48my phone, talk to my XR research bot, have it do things for me on my behalf while I'm on the go. It's a really cool feature. Let me know if you guys want a video about it. Now, if you are a beginner and if you're new here, don't get overwhelmed at all when it comes down to creating these bots. It's as simple as three different fields. You have the name, which I already showed you, the label, and the description. The description here you can treat as a very simple oneline prompt if you'd like, or you can be a little more defined, which is what Dr. Eggbot does really well and

10:12creates those nice little system prompts that your bot can follow every time. Now, I will tell you guys right now, this is not perfect. I might find flaws in it, and then I'm going to go ahead and have Dr. Eggbot fix those flaws. I'm never changing the system prompt myself. I'm just going to tell Dr. Eggbot how to do it because it's way better at doing it than I am. And I've mentioned anti-job a handful of times now. And I want to give you guys a clear definition for that. Anti-job are in the bot's description. So it reads them and it

10:36never touches those specific things. Depending on what kind of bot you're creating, it'll never post anything. It'll never like, reply, or follow anything. It never DMs anyone. So this is an X research agent. It's not doing or interacting with anybody on X. It's simply doing research, reading, and grabbing reports for me. It's incredibly important that you write these down in your descriptions because these bots and models are very goal oriented. So, if it's not in there distinctively and it has a job that it needs to complete, it will find a way to do it. And if those guardrails aren't set up, it's going to break them. It's going to find ways to

11:05go past those guardrails and it might not be good for you. Now, putting it in the prompt is one thing, but you're always going to want to make sure you're being very diligent about this. So, if you go ahead, hop into the bottom left here, go into settings and into general. There's going to be autoreview rules right here. And whenever Grockbot wants to do something specific, you can add those rules here. And it should always be ask first. If those rules are there, have it ask you first. For example, you guys can see the two that I have right here. This is kind of backup for you and

11:29will give you a sense of peace because again, just because it's in the prompt doesn't mean an agent will always follow it, unfortunately. Like I said, these models are very goal oriented. So, just make sure you're always protecting yourself. Now, let's go ahead and test this. So, I gave it a video file path. This is a video that I was going to make, but I never got to making for GPT image 2.5, which is the best image

11:47generation model out there right now. And all I'm going to say is I want to know what people are saying, what models compete with this, pain points, and the best ways to use it, etc. I'm going to go ahead and send this off. And now this XR research bot is going to kick off, get me everything, and my final output should be a markdown file with everything that I need to know. And just like that, the entire X research pass is done. Everything is looking good right now. It told me it cost $141 and I have $4.60 left, so I'm probably going to have to top up soon. It lets me know the

12:15competitor that people mention most is Google's Net Banana, which they're calling the free option. We have Gro Imagine Image 2.0 0 is on there and that the benchmarks put GBT image 2.5 at number one but creators disagree on whether it's actually better than 2.0 which I've experienced myself and then it lets me know some recommendations and what I really like and this is why I use Dr. Eggbot just because obviously I would have put this in myself, but it's just cool that I don't even have to think about it. And it said I also found some accounts that could go on the watch list. So, Artificial Analysis, Arena,

12:42OpenAI devs, and it's going to give me recommendations to build that creator list up that I have. Now, when it comes to the deliverable, I already handed this a golden output that I really like. And right here, you guys can see it's a markdown file. It's pretty long that you guys can see on the right hand side here. This is the X Research GPT image 2.5. You can see that it made it for this specific video. The window search, the method, the verified post, the name

13:04checks. We have a lot of stuff here. Decisions, we have what this channel already covered. We have cluster one, cluster two, and just so much information here that I can just query now whenever I'm coming up with the idea for the videos. And now I just have [snorts] so much information of what people are saying live. And it's just really helpful for me. And this is just one out of the three research passes that I do. So I'm compiling a ton of information very quickly. And now, like I said, I could do it from wherever. Not only that, but this agent just gets

13:31better and better on every single run. If there was something I didn't like, I just tell it that. Then it puts it in its memory. And now it knows. Every single Grock bot that you create has its own memory. And then there's also a unified memory where every single bot knows those specific things, right? So, because I'm able to iterate on this bot, it'll save every iteration as its memory, and it'll just continue to get better and better every time. This is also a good time to talk about the difference between a description and a message inside of Grockbot. A

13:56description is specifically bot related. When you go into their settings and you click on the description, that is everything that they're reading every time. It's their system prompt that really never changes and you should only really have Dr. Eggbot manipulate that. On the message side, that is your prompt. That is when you turn on the bot. That is when you're telling the bot to actually go do something, take some action. And that's the difference between the two. So specific rules and anti-job go into the description and any tasks actually go into the message portion and those are your prompts. In the simplest way, the description are

14:24the rules that are true on every single run. And messages are the specific tasks you're asking that bot to do. So outcomes, sources, limits, deliverables, reviews, whatever that task is. In this case, it was research. Now, it's also important that when you're talking with Dr. Eggbot, it will ask you questions about connectors, APIs, whatever kind of workflow you're building around. So, just make sure, this is kind of the list that I always follow, use connectors first and the built-in plugins inside of the marketplace. If you're not familiar with the marketplace, that's totally okay. Okay, you'll just click on the bottom left hand side right here and you

14:54have featured plugins, you have featured bots and a ton of different plugins that are already integrated into Grockbot. So, they're super easy to use. If there's a specific plugin that's not available yet, I highly recommend setting up a Composeio account because that Composio account is a plugin that's built into Grockbot and it has access to a variety of APIs that will help you level up your Grockbot. There's no plug-in API or MCP that's actually available. Then you would use the Grockbots's computer, sign into your account, teach it how to actually do that with the teach a task feature and then you'll be good from there. Just

15:23understand that if you log into anything on the Grockbots computer, every single bot has access to that because every Grockbot shares one computer. You've seen me build out my bot. You've seen the first mate combination alongside Dr. Eggbot. Now I want to give you guys the full recipe to do it yourself and build your own bots in 10 to 15 minutes. Let's break it down. same six steps for every single bot that you create from here on out. The first thing you'll do is you'll

15:46tell First Mate that you need a new bot. You'll explain it a little bit and then you'll hand it off to Dr. Eggbot. You're going to use the grill me skill inside of Dr. Eggbot. It'll ask you at minimum 10 questions and you will go as long as you need to until you reach a point of agreement. Up here I have answer five questions one at a time, but that may not be the case. It might be 10, it

16:04might be 15, it might be 20. Who knows? Spend as much time as you can in the grilling sessions. You'll thank me for it later. Then we have confirm the three fields. So confirm the name, confirm the label, and then actually confirm the description and read through it all and make sure it's all good. You don't really have to do that, but if you want to make sure you're on top of things and you actually know everything that your bot is doing, I highly suggest it. You give that bot once it's created one real

16:26task. You verify it. You do it again. You do it again. Maybe on the fourth or fifth time, you then create a routine if you know that task can be then automated. And then of course throughout those iterations, you're going to fix the description. I wouldn't fix them manually. I would have Dr. Dr. Eggbot fix them based on the replies based on the outputs that you get. You can have another conversation with Dr. Eggbot. It will then go ahead and fix the description and the system prompt. And I

16:47can't believe that I almost missed this. Dr. Eggbot comes with two routines shipped alongside it. And that is the transcript health check and the routine health check. So, if we go ahead and click on the transcript health check, which is the more important one, this runs a specific skill that uses a 24-hour window and fans out parallel agents across all of your teammates and

17:04reports any failures, any frictions. Anytime that you, you know, talk back and forth with the bot and you were getting upset or something like that, it logs it and then every single day it'll give you a report saying, "Hey, do you want to fix this in this bot, fix this in that bot, whatever the case may be." It's a really cool feature. Then we have the routine health check, which is essentially the same thing but just for routines. Anyways, once you've completed this entire process, I want you guys to follow this anytime you're going to onboard a new team member. I like to think of it like this. If you're going

17:30to onboard anyone into your team, whether you run a business, whether you're a solo founder looking for your second person, whatever the case may be, you're going to want to interview that person. You're going to want to take time vetting them and making sure that they're going to do this right thing. And then when you have them, you're

17:43going to want to train them, right? That's the whole idea. We want to train and make these bots better and better so we can trust them a lot more. And trust me, if you follow this kind of six-stage process, you're going to be enjoying Grockbot a lot more. Now, just because you have this process doesn't mean you should go build 15 different bots and spend a whole weekend doing that. I always want you guys to start with one bot, one job, and make sure that it's working before you go and build another bot. The beautiful thing about First Mate is that First Mate can handle so

18:08much for you and it will actually suggest when to hire or bring on a new bot. And then you can have that grill me interview with Dr. your eggbot. Build out those bots when the time comes. Instead of having your own ideas and building out these bots that you're only going to click into here and there and you're never really going to use, this is the way that I would suggest. You also have the grill me skill now. And this doesn't just have to be used for bots. You can use this for anything that you're doing. Projects, builds, whatever the case may be. You can use this grill

18:33me skill to interview you. And of course, I want to get your guys' brains rolling a little bit and give you guys some recommendations for some next bots, especially if you're a small business owner and you want to start using Grockbots. Here are some ideas that I have for you guys. Quote, follow-up drafter, so you guys can follow up on quotes. Review reply drafter, so when people leave you reviews, you can reply to them, get that drafted, and then send it off quickly. And then meeting notes clerk, have a specific bot handle all your meeting notes and all your meetings and get them saved for you in specific

18:59places. These are all incredibly kind of boring but useful agents that you guys can create for your business. And at this point, if you stuck with me all the way through and if you followed along with what I did, this is exactly what you now have. You have First Mate, which is your chief of staff, your front door, the agent that you're going to be

19:14talking to the most. You have Dr. Eggbot, which is your bot designer. From here on out, you might never create a bad bot again. Don't quote me on that. And then you also have, if you followed along with me step by step, which would have been a little hard to do, you have an X research bot that's going to take care of all your X research from here on out. And then, of course, you have the grill me skill, which is completely reusable in any kind of fashion that you guys want. I totally understand. I threw a lot at you guys today. So, if you got

19:37lost at any point, don't worry at all. I'm going to be dropping a full free resource guide that walks you through everything you need to know in this video so you guys can do it at home yourself. All you guys need to do is click the link down below, enter in your email, join my free school community, AI made simple. There you'll get access to this resource guide alongside all the

19:53resource guides that I've ever created. So, I hope to see some of you guys in there soon. As always, if you've gotten any value from this video, drop a like, hit that subscribe button, turn those notification bells on so you never miss one of my videos, and leave a comment down below on the first bot you're going to be creating with this new process that you have. If you've made it this far in the video, thank you so much, and I'll see you guys in the next one. God bless, guys. Hey there. If you're still here, that means you've made it to the end of the video. First of all, thank

20:20you so much. If you're new here, something I like to do at the end of all my videos is pray for you guys, my audience. I do this because I genuinely care about you guys. I love and appreciate you guys and the time and attention that you take out of your days to watch and learn from my videos. And I also want to see you guys live fulfilled lives. I want to see you guys be good, caring people, loving your neighbor, loving your families, being good stewards. And uh the most important reason that I do this is because I know that there's someone out there that

20:43needs to hear a prayer. I know that there's someone out there fighting darkness alone in a in a tough spot. Um you know, really down on themselves and just struggling. And I understand that there's people out there who think there's no one there to help them and there's no one that cares for them. And the reality is that is not true. There's always someone out there praying for you. There's always someone out there that's willing to help you. So please just stick it through and just understand that life will get better and this too shall pass. Uh if this makes you uncomfortable at any point, please

21:13feel free to click off the video. I'm not here to force anything upon you, but do know that if you leave, Jesus loves you. I'm going to go ahead and pray for you guys. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day. Thank you so much for the breath of life that you've bestowed upon us this morning. Lord, I just want to thank you for all the opportunities that you've blessed me with. I want to thank you for my health. I want to thank you for my beautiful family. I want to thank you for this audience. I want to thank you for this platform. Lord, all glory

21:38to you. Anything that I do, anything that you put me in charge of, Lord, just make sure that I praise and honor you in every single way and then I put you in the center. Lord, I just want to thank you for this audience, the people on the other side of the screen, for their precious time and attention and their willingness to learn from me. Lord, I just thank you for this platform once again. I can't say it enough. Lord, I want to pray a blessing over this audience. A blessing of just peace, Lord, of peace and stewardship. Lord, you give us a lot of opportunities. You

22:04put a lot of things in our hands. Lord, let us just steward that properly in a way that honor and glorifies you. Whether that's a new job, whether that's money that came into our life, whether that's a new relationship, whatever the case may be, Lord, let us steward that properly. Lord, also give us the peace to understand that anything that comes into our life, anything that's bad is just a testing of our faith. And if we persevere through that, Lord, we will honor and glorify you. Lord, I want to take this time to really, really pray and pray hard for the people who are struggling in this world. Lord, there's

22:34people that are homeless. There are people that are struggling with severe anxiety, severe depression. There are people that lost loved ones. There's people who are struggling financially. There's people just there's so many different struggles in this world. And Lord, I just want to pray for those people. I want to take this time to just lift them up to you. Lord, I just ask that you be there for them. I ask that you welcome them with open arms. I ask that you pick them up and just carry them for a little bit. Reveal yourself when you need to reveal yourself to them and just help them understand, Lord,

23:00most importantly, that there is help. that there are people that are willing to help them and help them realize that there are people out there like myself, like my brothers and sisters in Christ who are praying for their safety and praying for our brothers and sisters. Lord, I want to thank you for your grace. I want to thank you for your love and I want to thank you for your son,

23:15Jesus, and his sacrifice on the cross. Because of that sacrifice, we can now have a relationship with you in heaven. It's a relationship that we do not deserve. And we thank you for that so so much. And it is all in your name that we pray. Amen. Now, go have a blessed day, guys. and I'll see you in the next one.
