0:00Grokbot, let's learn as fast as possible everything we need to know about this new tool that got dropped. So by the end of this video, you're going to see if this is all hype or this actually has a real use case. So let's go and jump in. Welcome back y'all, let's check out Grokbot here. Oh my gosh, absolutely beautiful Grokbot. Now just as a top level, this is like open claw, telegram, like all this different stuff that we saw in the past when it came to like, oh my gosh, autonomous agents. That situation, they essentially productized the living heck out of it and I'm going to show you all of its capabilities. So

0:28I'm going to hit next. First capability is it has its own VM it can do tasking. We can give them jobs as you can see here. We can integrate applications. But conceptually, the way you think of it is like imagine you had a thousand employees and then you're giving an employee a specific task and then over time they get better at the task. So

0:43let's break this down so it's fast. Let's say web user. So I can show its features as we go. We're going to choose a color red, triangle, get started. I'm going to simply put in a prompt like this, go to Product Hunt and find the top five AI tools launched this week. Give me a list with one line and what

0:59each does. Submit enter. So there we go. It's doing its web search capability here. What you notice is that we have the computer if it chooses to use the computer here, but it's right here. We can also set up recurring task that you do constantly, but first off, let's see it answer this question. So you can also request it to do an action live. So what you'll notice here is that it pulled it up on its computer and you can see its mouse moving. It was able to literally search Product Hunt. It's even searching live here weekly. It had it in the beginning so let's go back here for a

1:25second and go ahead and minimize this and see what it's thinking right now. And boom. Even though it got lost a little bit, I think the initial screenshot it saw is correct. But it was actually able to find it. Look at this y'all. So it found the correct way to enter in the URL and it's going to weekly here and this is a lot faster than it was in the past. You can even see it scrolling here. I'm not touching my keyboard, not touching my mouse and it's able to find the top five Product Hunts weekly. So you notice it does standard things like provides the

1:52relevant link to it so I can click it. Pretty nice. So let's find out another way we can leverage Grokbot. So I'm going to just real quickly rename this to my Grok and we're going to keep going down this little rabbit hole. One that is really cool here is the ability to teach it a task. So, when I want to do this, you'll notice that it wants you to click teach task here and first off, you can see that we can use the same computer that it can use. But logically, let's teach it a task and show you how this works. So first off, I'll type in

2:18like google.com and the task I'm going to teach it is the ability to look up Hacker News, OpenAI News, X News and like video topics I could look at, but do this all automatically for me. So, I'm going to click teach a task. It's recording and we're going to the first one here, which will be Hacker News. I am not a robot. Ooh, that's funny. I wonder what Grokbot does in this situation. I guess we'll find out. I guess it doesn't accept that. Oh my

2:40gosh, I am I guess I'm a robot, y'all. Isn't this just abnormally frustrating? Can we create a new startup for AI agents that solves this for me, please? Like how many fire hydrants do you want to see? Verify. Thank you. So, check this. Go to OpenAI News. Just kind of scroll through a little bit, just gets context, right? And then XAI News. Think of what we're doing here is we're showing repeatable task. In theory, I could sign into my Google account. I could do I mean, funny enough, there you go, Grokbot. I could sign into my Google account, I could sign into my X account, have it do specific things, whatever it

3:12may be. From here, I'm going to hit pause. And then what it's going to do is it's going to watch that actual video and I'm actually going to load in a prompt as well, right? We got to give more context here. Save that as a routine. Every morning at 8:00 a.m., check Hacker News, OpenAI blog, XAI news page for new AI tools for models launched. Message me anything a beginner coding audience would care about with one line of why it matters. What's happening here? Another big ability of Grokbot is your ability to download the iOS app. And logically, the idea here is that you would set task like this and

3:42then in the morning, I wake up and I'll get a message from this Grokbot like, "Hey, here's the headlines. Here's the possible videos." And automating that kind of work. So, we're going to let my Grok working here and then you're going to see the routine be created over here. And you'll notice it's right here. So, it knows the instructions. It wrote them out for me cuz I'm lazy and I don't want

4:00to write them out. It'll do all that. It'll know that it'll do it to do it every day at 8:00 a.m. and we'll have a past history log of these. We can obviously make sure it's on and off. We can even test run it. Let's see what it does there. And as you can assume, we can create more routines here. First off, let's just check out this test run, right? I'm going to say yes over here to running the dry run and let's see. Dry run in this context here basically means we're going to try something for its production. Probably not the best terminology to use here because it's

4:25essentially doing the exact same thing as production is this test environment, but it is what it is. So, we can watch it, right? So, we can over here, we can open and it's doing exactly what I requested. It's going to these three websites. It's probably getting It's scrolling. It's scrolling and it'll get this information. It seems like the browser might have crashed. I There it is. Okay, it's back. But the idea is that it's scrolling information. This would be live information that's grabbed every single day at 8:00 a.m. So, while that scrolls, we can go ahead and check out other things it can integrate to. As

4:53you can assume, it integrates to very standard things like Slack messages, Git events, team messages, everything like this, right? And then you have your standard cron scheduler that we're used to, which is do an event at a specific time interval. Also, looks like you have the ability to integrate custom stuff via the webhook. And that quite literally means that yeah, if you get a Slack message from XYZ person, you could automate Grokbot to do something for you. So, let's go ahead and let our Grokbot finish this test run. So, while this cooks, you'll notice we have plugins here. This is actually one-to-one integration with if you use

5:22Cursor. That's why you'll notice I have two plugins installed there. Anything you install with Cursor here comes over to Grokbot as well. And as you can see, we're already getting our results here for GPT-5.6 in Kiro and all the relevant information from these different blogs. So, a big thing you need to understand and what you can assume is that you can do a bunch of new bots, right? We can run these bots in parallel. We're very used to this. We can even create channels here, which is extremely interesting. Now, what a channel is what you would assume it is if you ever use Slack, our ability to add multiple bots

5:51in the same channel. So, for example, if I create a new bot here, new bot, and we got a new little bot here, we could create a channel, if I come over here to here, and in this channel, this means that these two bots can communicate with each other. Essentially, just creating, you know, a team of AI agents that have the ability to context switch and have

6:09context from other agents be provided. Anytime this gets too confusing or you're like, this seems too advanced, just replace the AI agent with a human. How good are your managing skills? Like, how good are you at associating labor and giving labor to be done? However you would tell a human to do it, you can

6:26tell a Grok bot to do it. Same logic. So, there's your quick dive into Grok bots and its use case. Make sure to leave a like. I'll see you in the next "The quickest way to just explain what Grok bot is in as fast as possible" type of video.
