0:00Robert, Elon Musk retweeted you. 38 million people viewed it. All for this new thing that's coming to the X API and I don't fully understand why it matters and I love using X for data. Tell me what's going on here. Presented by Zapier, the AI automation company. The price is getting cheaper and it's getting easier to do apps. I'm not a programmer. I don't know how to code. I used my agent to grab all of the tweets out of a list Okay. on X API, right? And make a website out of it. In fact, I think you have one of the one of the This is it. For you, I could see why it
0:39matters for you because for you what you're doing is you're creating this new site which has a paid and free version. It matters for a lot of people. May- maybe not for everybody, but for a lot of people who run communi- communities, you can now build a list of people that you want to study and build an app out of them. I have for instance, I have a list of climate scientists on X. Uh about a thousand of them, right? These are scientists, meteorologists, people who talk about the weather. They're they're constantly putting tweeting, "Oh, there's a storm coming toward Florida." And showing off video and
1:14showing off pictures and talking about it and and telling you what their AI models are predicting. I built an app on Pokee uh using the X API in 5 minutes to use that list to lay the storms over a map of the United States. So now I have a new little weather app that I can talk to my followers about, "Hey, download my little weather app and you can get better weather than anybody else cuz it's coming straight off of X and you
1:41know where it came from. And boom, it took less than 10 minutes to build that app. So what you're able to do is go through it and then make your own new sites or understand what's going on in the world based on what you need. I have two sites, two separate sets of agents going at 40,000 posts a day, right? So
2:01the old way to Okay. The old way to watch X was either you're thumbing through your feeds, which means you take what the algorithm shows you. And and you know, if you're following everybody in in AI, that's 40,000 posts a day and it only shows you at 30 on That's what happens to me. I I just go to X and I scroll for the news that I think I care about and uh all right, you're saying this is the old way. Yeah, that's the old way and and I have X Pro, so I can see the whole
2:28community in real time. Yeah. eight posts a second. Now, the X ecosystem has hundreds of millions of posts a day. I'm not going to worry about that. That's Elon has that, right? Okay. He has Grok. He And Grok can tell you, you know, if Hey, tell me what the San Francisco 49ers are doing right now. Grok can tell
2:49you cuz it has access to everybody. That's reading it all, yep. But but I just care about the tech industry. So I've built lists over the last 19 years of the security people, the crypto people, the crypto and web3 people. And you can see there's 5,000 in each one of these lists, right? And and I have 63 lists. You're going to go through that
3:10and figure out what the news is today? You know, you're going to drive yourself a little insane if you try, right? I can send my AI to all these lists and build build a webpage I showed you before, alignnews.ai, which is a little secret. It's coming out in a couple weeks uh with a new AI that that uh What's
3:30this? New company just built called Ninja AI. They have groups of AI agents in a Slack channel that are talking to me building that website, right? Let me pause for a second. Do do the new Does the new price apply to individual groups? Because what I do understand is it doesn't apply to me fetching data from all of X. It only
3:50applies to data that I have access to. That has gotten really cheap. Does data in the list come in? Yes, that still applies. I asked I told Elon that my sites costing three $300 a day to run. Uh just looking at AI. I'm not even looking I wasn't even pulling in all of my lists. I have 63 lists. My my AI uh alignnews.com/ai is watching just the AI list, which is
4:1716, 17 lists. Okay, right here. me 300 bucks a day, right? It's too expensive for normal everyday people to be doing this. Let me let me just pause to make sure that I understand though. So I get how this works. Making these lists though is a pain. I can't Steal mine. I built them. The pattern is there. If you want to build a little micro app for your football team, you
4:39put all your football team on a list. That that doesn't take you very long. Then you bring it into your favorite AI agent platform like Pokee already already has the X API built in, so you just build a list, grab the URL for the list, go over to Pokee, paste it in, and then talk to the agent and say, "Hey, I need an app to watch my football team. I
5:00care about this and this and this." I see. Uh you know, put a logo on the thing, right? Make it look cool, right? And it does it in 5 minutes. Okay. All right. The There's a bigger thing going on here. We have a new distribution method uh called Open Claw and and a bunch of
5:21competitors. Hermes from News Research. This is a radically changing new decentralized computing system and X API now is supports Open Claw for cheaper. Here's what I'm doing with it. I'm asking it to go and analyze the top tweets that I'm following from people who I'm following and tell me what they are about and make it really easy for me to follow that. I don't want to have to keep scrolling. I just want to know what's really popping off from the
5:49people who I'm I'm paying attention to. I get that and what you can do now that you have AI that talks English to us. I I do have Open Claw. It's running. I'm talking to it um not that much. It's a pain in the butt. But uh I just do this in Claude Co-work. I say, "Here's what I'm trying to understand today. Go and get me get
6:09me the data off of X." There's a lot of different There's Jen Spark. There's Pokee. There's Manas. There's used Pokee. I don't have Pokee at all. Pokee has X API built into it, so you don't have to set up X API and worry about all the nerdy stuff. I'm not nerdy. There's a little bit of a nerdy step where you have to set up a developer account on X. Get the your API keys, bring them over to your agent, hook them up, right? So that the your AI of choice knows how to talk to the X
6:39API. On Pokee, it's p o k e e e. Yeah, that's it. That's it. So you get a low price. You sign up with Pokee. You you and you just have to copy a list over there and say, "Hey, start watching Scoble's news list. I want to make a report of the news every morning,
6:59right?" And it does. It's really easy. It takes 5 minutes. Okay. Let's take a look at this. This is Is this part Is this actually impacted too? I love this idea from Elvis. He goes, "Look, I just built the craziest X warm intro radar from the new X API update." The idea is borrowed from Greg's story on his podcast where when an artist liked one of his tweets, he would immediately DM the person and start to engage with the person. So he is this guy, Elvis, is doing it now uh with an agent. Here's what that looks
7:28like. He built that just by talking to the agent, right? And saying, "Hey, I need a a system to watch all my likes on X and you know, how would I build that?" And it it just starts building it, right? And then you talk to it some more, "No, that's not what I really wanted. I wanted this, right?" And it builds something like this automatically. All right, thank you,
7:51brother. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching. If you watched this far, you should subscribe because I've got more good stuff coming up.
