0:00So, I run a business in the UK. I'm essentially what you call a solopreneur. So, I've got no admin, I've got no support, I've got no finance function. And prior to GrokBot, I really only had two ways of raising an invoice. They were either me raising the invoice myself or getting my VA to raise that invoice for me. And inevitably, sometimes this would slip through the net. Either I'd forget or my VA, as good as she forget. Or maybe I didn't
0:32communicate something to her properly. But, that all changed about 3 weeks ago when I basically got Xero integrated with my GrokBot. But, before I go into that, I just want to give you an example of how I used to manage these invoices. So, typically after every job finished, I would just go into Xero, go to zero.com, enter my login, authenticate, and then I would go to the invoices screen. After that, I'd go to ClickUp or if the data wasn't in ClickUp, I'd go to my emails, and then I'd pull up the client details along with the job, along
1:10with the fee and the fee proposal. Basically, getting all the data into the invoice. Now, that in itself wasn't difficult, but it was time-consuming. And as I mentioned earlier, sometimes I'd forget to do that. The other problem was that it basically pulled me away from my work, which in my opinion, should generally be fee-paying work or interacting with potential clients. Now, as the business started to make a bit more money, and then engaged my VA, but I had to go through a couple of VAs to find my current one. And when she eventually got on board, it took some time to build that trust up to even give
1:49her an account in Xero so that she could raise the invoices for me. But, as I kind of alluded to earlier, sometimes I'd forget to communicate to her that an invoice needs to be raised or maybe the fee had changed or maybe she forgot to raise the invoice. And it's never a good thing when you forget to raise invoices or it's pretty bad when clients actually start chasing you for invoices. But thank you for those clients who have chased me for invoices. I really appreciate it. So, fast forward to me
2:22really using AI to solve this problem. So, as I began to use Grokbot, I saw a real opportunity to really see if Grokbot could help me with raising invoices. And what I really like about Grokbot is that it's super lightweight. It's very snappy in terms of its responses. And you can tell very quickly whether it's done something that you like or maybe it did something that you didn't like. So, as my familiarity with Grokbot grew, I really saw an
2:55opportunity to get it integrated Xero. So, what does this look like now? You're probably asking. Well, it's actually very simple. I had to buy a connector from Xero to essentially make this all work, but that's £5 a month. But with that £5 a month, I'm essentially able to ask Grokbot to draft an invoice for me. It will then look in my ClickUp. It will also double-check in my emails and it can even ask me if there are any mistakes. But generally speaking, it drafts invoices in seconds. And what's remarkable about it is not only the speed, but of course when it comes to invoicing, it's the accuracy. So, every
3:38time I've been in there, it's been able to get all of the client information in there and the correct amounts. It's even picked up when I've either increased my fees or I've lowered them, but haven't necessarily logged that in ClickUp. And what's also great about this integration is that I can see very quickly what the health is of my business, how many invoices are outstanding, and
4:04whether people have paid my invoices. And all of that is just done from GrokBot. I don't have to go into Xero. I can just sit there, write it in my laptop, or just use my phone, and I can find out instantly how my business is performing. And what I absolutely love now is that GrokBot essentially communicates with ClickUp and Xero, and lets me know whether they're consistent, and whether there's any issues that I need to look into a lot quicker than I would have been able to. And whilst I can't tell you that it saves me 10 hours a week, and everything runs on autopilot, and it
4:42makes me money, what I can tell you is that it saves me a lot of time. It saves me a lot of stress, and that's valuable when you're a solopreneur or a small business owner. It really takes that pressure off your plate. And if this video has been of some help for you, or if it's inspired you to try GrokBot, or even to try GrokBot with Xero, then let me know in the comments. So, with all of that said, thank you for watching, and don't
5:11forget, like and subscribe. Peace.
