This is the full transcript of I Run My Companies With Grok Bot Agents, published on YouTube by Elite Automation. Every paragraph carries the moment it was spoken, so you can click any line to jump straight to that point in the video, search the whole thing for a word, or copy it out.
0:00What is going on? Welcome back to the MG YouTube channel. I'm your host, Mal Grab, CEO of Elite Automation, Elite Properties, and investor in Tesla. Yan, my son's next to me learning Mandarin. We're homeschooling, so he's here next to me studying. We're going to do the quickest video I can possibly do regarding Grockbot and Grock. What is the difference between Grockbot and Grock? I just did a like hourong video on this subject. So, if you want a more long form video, go watch that one. Uh, it might come out after this video so I can just like create a shorter version of the video first as like a precursor. But, we're
0:38going to go ahead and jump right into Grockbot. Boom. We are in Grockbot. This is Grockbot. And this is Grock. Okay. Um, first of all, for Grockbot, like what is so significant about Grockbot? Grockbot has its own computer, right? So, we can click computer right here. And Rockbot is literally working on its own computer. Um, it also has agents. These agents can be trained the same way that you can train an employee. So, again, this is something that's extremely powerful. And honestly, even if you had these agents and could train these agents inside of like Grock, uh, there would really be no difference between Grock and Grock bot
1:22other than the computer aspect of things. So this computer aspect of things is the major difference between Grock and Grockbot and the fact that you have trainable agents inside of Grockbot. So inside of Grock, you don't have trainable agents. Uh the closest thing you have to a trainable agent inside of Grock would be your Grock projects, right? Oh
1:47where'd it go? I'll just pull up one. Let's go Tesla Q1 results. Right. So this is a project. These are the different threads inside that project. And so basically a project contains data. Uh it contains information on whatever information you want to give it. Uh you know we particularize uh certain things or categorize things. Uh like you know homeschooling we have here Bloom Energy analysis. Um we have like a invent project here. You know, up here we have investment thesis, elite properties financials, which actually just became elite properties. So, all these different things are uh are containers
2:31that are kind of similar. They're the closest thing you can get to an agent, right? Because I can train that chat space to act in a certain way, to answer in a certain way. I can give it rule sets the same way I can give an agent a rule set. Um, but then going back to it, like there's a couple major differentiators that the agents can't talk to each other, aka your gro projects can't talk to each other unless you create some type of automation where you allow them to like basically ping back and forth to each other, but it's still not the same like agent
3:05communication that these things are able to do. So, you can see like right here, CMO is working. Let's go try to see if we can find another uh Write that down. Okay, quit playing that. I'm shooting a video, please. Um, I sort out the reservation manager. Okay, that's not what I'm worried about. Okay, EP reservation manager. So, here's actually the chat between chief of staff and EP reservation manager. This is literally what they're communicating back and
3:31forth to one another. So, they're having this dialogue on the back end that it has nothing to do with anything I'm seeing. It's actually kind of hidden unless you click into it and see it right here. Uh, so go to CMO. Let's see where like the last communication it had with somebody was. He hasn't talked to nobody, dude. He talked to executive assistant at one point. Um, so here here is having a dialogue box or dialogue with executive
3:56assistant. You can't have that inside of Grock projects. Grock projects just doesn't have the ability to communicate in that way. So that becomes very very powerful because now you can train these agents to be very specific. uh for example, EP reservation manager for us. This is uh doing things like managing the calendars. We're making sure cameras are charged. We're making sure that um that that cleaners get notifications that uh they that that a property needs cleaned today. And we also get that confirmation back from the cleaner. So that way, you know, if if the cleaner doesn't respond back saying, "Yes, I'm cleaning that today." Within x period of time, uh our
4:37bot will then message them again. or escalate it to uh like maybe Jenner or myself or somebody some other you know man uh manager or something like that. Um but I mean I don't want to go too far into this but like this is one thing that I find very uh very cool is the fact that like this is our AI agent inside Google chat. We're inside Google chat right now and our AI agent is sending all these messages right here inside Google chat. So completely different platform. And here we have one of our cleaners uh messaging us and and our AI agent can also see that response
5:12from our cleaner uh and and and making sure that um you know it's in the loop, right? And it can al also like our cleaner can request something say, "Hey, I need this thing." And then our agent can go back and and make sure that they have that thing on hand. Um, you couldn't really do this type of
5:32setup inside of your uh regular Grock. So, yeah, I think I covered most of the uh the, you know, differences between the two. Um, I guess a couple things that I need to call out is token utilization, aka the cost of operation. So, you know, both these AIs are utilizing what's called tokens, right? However, Grockbot is way more expensive to operate. So, if I click into here, I've used 7% of my utilization and we've literally only been running for an hour and a half. Like, this just reset. I have this resets in seven days. I It literally just reset for the week. So, your Grock bot resets every week and
6:16gives you 100% utilization. And then, uh after that utilization's up, your bot's done. It don't work no more. Um, and so you got to pay cash if you want that thing to continue running. Grock, the normal Grock with like your Grock heavies and everything like that. I didn't go through that because I'm trying to keep this video more short and concise and not near as long as my other video. Um, but you have like your options down here, right? Fast, expert, heavy. Uh, heavy does kind of have some agents that talk to each other a little bit. Not in the way that Grockabbot does. So, I do like that argumentative
6:52part of this. Uh, and let's dive into So, I never run out of of tokens over here inside of Grock. I only run out of tokens over here in Grock bot, which means everything that's in here gets locked down whenever I uh don't have uh tokens available or I spend cash and I've been spending cash. Uh there's also some uh things that you can connect with your uh your Grockbot and you can also connect other things to your Grockbot as well uh that are not in this list. And that's a big part of what we do as a as a as a a business uh is we
7:33connect other people's uh or we connect softwares and tools to our bots. like the Google chat thing you just seen, there is no native Google chat uh plugin for Rockbot right now. Like we had to develop that and create that so that way we could uh we could do that. Um we could be able to communicate inside chat space. We really wanted that so that way employees could interact with our Grockbot and not have direct login access to our Grockbot because a Grockbot has like all of our company information. Every sensitive piece of information you can think of is basically in this Grockbot. Um, so it's
8:08something we don't want to give out to employees, but we need people, we need our employees to be able to communicate with our Rockbot so that way they can continue to do their job. Um,
8:23okay, go ahead. Hurry up, Google. Um, let's see what what this guy's over here doing. See if we can check out his computer real quick. I guess it's not showing anything anyway. Um but yeah, the other major thing that is um different uh this thing needs me to do something. Uh how do you say how do you say how I how are you in Mandarin? They have these bot things trying to stop our bots from botting around, dude. I don't know if it needed that, but I I did it for it. I assume it needed it. Um,
9:15so how do I use Grock and Grockbot? Grockbot is my researcher. I sit down when I'm studying, when I'm analyzing, I sit with Grock. I sit with Grock and I do all my back and forth deep research as a human with my Grock. Okay. And especially once my Grock bot dies, I ain't doing anything with it. That's the other downside is I have to switch over to Grock whenever Grockbot's dead. I also don't ever really use Grockbot in order to um communicate like like brainstorm. If I'm doing any type of brainstorming like let's say for it's like with CMO or CEO and like I'm telling them that they need to ensure
9:55they're operating as a CEO and and that we have these ideas in pla in place and I want them to make sure they execute on those ideas and they perform the operations that they're supposed to be performing as the uh you know manager of their like I don't want to say department but their uh what do you call it portion of the business I guess you could Um, how do you So again, hold on. You have to wait, dude. Uh, so again, human study is done over on the Gro side over here. I use heavy and expert predominantly only. And then over here is like anything I need done on a
10:35computer. Uh, and also anything that I can do like via API, which API connector, however you want to call it. Basically, if I need to plug something in, if I need to communicate to some outside thing that I can't get Grock to communicate with, I go to Grockbot and I have Grockbot be the communicator. So that way we are able just to connect with more outside uh softwares and outside tools and stuff like that. Uh yeah, this is about as quick as I can make this video. Let me know if you have any particular questions about Grock Bot. Uh, and Grock Grock bot is currently able to be purchased via a
11:14cursor subscription. I think it's their premium subscription and then also the Gro heavy prescript subscription. I mean subscription uh for $300. So it's $300 a month to get access to Grockbot. These things might change. So depending on when you're watching this video, um they may have different pricing tiers for you to be able to utilize and play around with Grockbot, but I know with my Gro heavy subscription, it's not enough, dude. Like I said again, we'll go show you again. We're we utilize 8% of our utilization for the entire week in the
11:46amount of an hour and 35 minutes. Basically crazy. Actually, let me see if I can click into it before we end this video. I don't want to make this video any longer, but let's just go see. Uh, Garvy change limiting. It just says seven days. Uh, one cool thing they added here is it tells you how many hour countdowns whenever you get down to the the final day, which is
12:08pretty cool. I I'm glad they added that. I wish they had it right here where I could see like six days and 23 hours or something like that just because like I want to know my utilization, bro. Um, yeah. Hopefully that answered the question and or answered any questions you have for the differences between Grockbot and Grock. They are pretty pretty significantly different. Uh Grockbot can do its own arguments and and debates and you can train them and have different rules for the different employees. Um and they can operate a computer which is huge. Uh whereas like Grockbot or Gro regular Grock is basically just going to be for you to
12:46like do research and like help you send out emails depending on what kind of plugins and stuff you have. I mean, you can still do a lot of stuff as a human, collect a lot of data, like I mean, it's still very very very very powerful, but when you put Grockbot next to it, like Grockbot is just like next level. Um, I would also like to see uh like being able to have like settings in here where we could have an employee be a like a heavy or expert or fast or have like settings on like how critical is it that its responses are like the best
13:17potential responses. like one version eats up a lot more tokens and than another version. Uh but then like have that ability to dial in like uh you know a bot's task or maybe just does it automatedly in the background. But like there's some times where like any of my executive level uh ones here, I want them to think heavy. I want them to debate. I want them to really analyze the business and and find out our next steps. So again, hopefully this was entertaining for you guys or not entertaining, educational. That's what we're here for is to be educational. So
