# The BEST Instagram Ads Tutorial for Beginners in 2026 Channel: Ben Heath Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7W4hgLb2mE Duration: 54 min Language: English Words: 12649 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/q7W4hgLb2mE --- [0:00] In this video, I'm going to show you how to create a high-performing Instagram ad campaign from scratch. We'll go step-by-step through the entire process so you can follow along and implement as you watch. Whether you've never run Instagram ads before or you've tried but aren't completely confident you did everything right, this video will walk you through it properly. And just so you know, this isn't theory. My agency has spent more than $300 million on Facebook and Instagram ads generating more than [0:22] $1.2 billion in revenue for our clients. So, I know what works and more importantly, what doesn't. Let's get into it. So, before we get started, there's one thing I want to quickly and that's that creating an Instagram ad campaign from scratch can feel very complicated. There are tons of different settings, a lot of things that you need to get right. Now, don't worry. As you go through this video, by the end of it, you will know exactly what to do and you'll understand it. But, here's what I'd recommend. I'd recommend that you watch this video all the way through in its entirety once first, then go back [0:51] through and watch it again with your ad account alongside and implement as you go. That's actually how we train new staff members and we found that their understanding and their attention is much better if they watch it through all the way once uninterrupted first and then go back through and watch it again and implement. Yes, that is going to take extra time, but by the end of doing that, you're going to have acquired a new skill, the skill of Instagram advertising. And whether you're looking to generate leads and sales for your business from it or advance your career prospects, it is a very valuable skill to have, well worth doing it that way in [1:20] my opinion. Okay, so with that said, let's get into it. So, I'm here in Ads Manager. This is where I'm going to show you how to create an Instagram ad campaign. Ads Manager is the best place to create and manage your ad campaigns. There are other options. You can boost posts from within the Instagram app, for example. There are other places within the Meta business tools that you can use [1:38] to create ads, but Ads Manager is best. Now, in order to use Ads Manager and follow along, you are going to need to have a Meta ad account, if you don't have one already. Meta being the company that owns Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc. for those of you who don't know. I'll actually show you exactly how to set up a Meta ad account in in separate video and it'll be somewhere on this screen. We'll also include a link in the video description, so you can go ahead and give that a watch if you don't already have one, and then you can come back here and follow along from this [2:05] point. If you already have one, if you've boosted a post at any point, run any sort of advertising on Instagram or Facebook for that matter, then you'll already have an ad account. You can navigate to Ads Manager and then follow along from here. So, Instagram ad campaigns are broken into three levels. We've got the campaign level, we've got the ad set level, and we've got the ad level. Now, each level is responsible for different things. So, campaign's going to be the overarching settings and the foundational elements of your campaign. Then, within that, we can have one or more ad sets. This is where we're going to decide things like targeting, [2:37] where our ads are going to be placed, things along those lines. And then, the ads are within ad sets, and those that's going to be the part that people actually see, the imagery, the video, and the copy, the headline, etc., that is put in front of people and convinces them to either take the action you want them to take or not. So, we're going to walk through these three levels in that order, campaign downwards. Let's go ahead and start by clicking on this green plus create button, and that'll [2:59] bring up a window that looks like this. So, a few things that we need to decide right at the beginning when we create our campaign before we get into any of the details. So, going from top to bottom, ignore collaborative ads, that's more of a advanced thing that you can get to later, not something beginners should worry about. Next, we've got buying type. Now, the default here is [3:18] auction, but we've also got reservation. Just to explain how these work and what these are. So, auction simply means that the cost of your Instagram ads, usually measured in per thousand impressions, typically how people talk about the cost of advertising, how much does it cost to get your ad seen a thousand times, and it's going to be set by an auction, by simple demand and supply. How many ad impressions are available, supply, how many other advertisers are trying to reach the people that you're trying to reach, demand. The more demand there is, the higher the price, for example. So, if you go with auction, which is what [3:49] most advertisers do and what I'd recommend, then the cost that you're going to pay in terms of per thousand impressions is going to fluctuate according to market conditions. You will typically see more expensive Instagram ads in Q4, in Black Friday, the run up to Christmas because there's more advertiser demand, right? You can go ahead and select reservation so you can lock in a specific rate. I'm going to pay this much in terms of cost per thousand impressions and that seems really attractive, especially as Meta will often give you a lower cost per thousand impressions when you go with the reservation buying type. But the only way that Meta can guarantee that is [4:24] because they typically put your ad in front of lower quality prospects or use lower quality placements. We'll get to that later on and which means your ads are less likely to convert. They're less likely to convince people to do what you want them to do, whether that's become a lead, buy something from you, etc. So best to go with auction but important that you understand the buying types and that we've covered that. Next we've got our campaign objective. One of the most important things about an Instagram ad campaign is using the right campaign objective, okay? So we've got six different options. We've got awareness, which you can see there Meta's got a [4:56] little description here that says show your ads to people who are most likely to remember them. We've got traffic, which is designed to get you as many people to say your website or wherever it is that you're sending them as possible. We've got engagement, it's going to optimize for things like video views, likes, shares, comments and stuff like that. We've got leads, which is exactly what it sounds like, looking to generate leads if you're advertising say a service, you want people to inquire, then leads is the obvious option for that. App promotion for people that are looking to promote apps. You can promote people downloading your app or promote [5:28] specific events in app, so in app purchase for example, or you've got sales for any e-commerce store, running people through to a Shopify page, you can go with sales and optimize for people looking to purchase. Now I strongly strongly recommend that you go with either leads or sales. The other options is typically what a lot of beginners do. Things like traffic. They think, "I'll send a load of people to my website. They'll then go on and inquire into my service. They'll then go on and purchase from my e-commerce store." And it really doesn't work like that. Meta's optimization system, and that's what we're doing when we're selecting a campaign objective, [6:03] we're saying to Meta, "I want you to optimize my campaign to go and get me more of this thing." That optimization system is very literal. If you say you want traffic, Meta will put your ads in front of people that are very likely to click. Not necessarily very likely to go on and purchase or become a lead or take the action that's actually important to [6:21] your business. Likewise with engagement. Meta's very good, if you use the engagement objective, at finding people that will engage, but will they go on to take the action you want to take? Most likely not. So, you want to go with leads or sales in 90% plus cases. Obviously, you can use app promotion if you're advertising um an app. And then the way you decide between the two [6:41] depends on what you can track online. So, you want to go with sales if people come through to your website and directly make a purchase that you can track. So, e-commerce stores, for example, um if you're advertising uh a software, something like that where people can go on and they can directly purchase and you can register that uh transaction. You want to go with leads, on the other hand, if there's an intermediary step. So, they're not coming through and actually making a purchase that you can track, they are booking in a free call or inquiring and you're going to reach out to them, arranging for a free quote. There's some [7:09] sort of intermediary step with this, a sales call or a visit or something along those lines. And that means it's very difficult for you and Meta to be able to track the the actual conversion, the end conversion where someone gives you money uh through that process, but you can track the lead that's generated. So, in those instances, you want to go with leads. For the purposes of this video, I'm going to go ahead and use sales cuz the example I'm going to use as I go through setting up this Instagram ad campaign is an actual ad campaign that I'm running right now uh for my inner [7:36] circle. I'll explain more about that later as we go through the the campaign creation process, and we can track to direct purchases. Um so, we're going to go ahead and use sales, but know that what I go through in the rest of this video very much applies to leads as well. They're very similar from now on in terms of the setup process, even if they're going to be optimized by Meta differently. I just want to highlight that optimization point because I think that's really important for particularly beginners to understand. When I say Meta's going to optimize for an outcome, what do I mean? It means Meta's going to [8:06] work out within your target audience who is most likely to buy. Who is most likely to become a lead? What's the best time of day to put an ad in front of someone? How many times does someone need to see an ad in order for them to purchase? Is it better to put an ad on [8:18] Instagram stories or Instagram reels? All those various elements that's going to help you get the action that you want, which is why it's so important that you select the right campaign objective because if Meta's going to be optimizing for the wrong thing or the thing that isn't actually as important to business, a video view, an engagement, a link click, but actually optimize for the thing that is really important, a purchase or a lead, a sign-up, something like that. That makes a huge difference. Don't underestimate what I just mentioned, Meta being able to run those experiments across hundreds thousands of data points and work out how to get you the best [8:54] possible results. So, we're going to go with sales, but if you're using sales or leads, you can follow along anyway. So, I'm going to go ahead and click continue. There's a few other things that we can set up at the campaign level. So, the first thing I'd recommend is give your campaign a name. We've just got the one campaign, doesn't matter too much. You could just We could just leave it as new sales campaign, but once you've been advertising a while and you've got lots of campaigns, really important you know which is which and you can easily take a look and and have a look at the results and assess [9:17] relative performance, right? So, I'm going to go ahead and call this the Inner Circle campaign. Like I said, the example we're using is advertising my Inner Circle, which I'll explain more about later. We've already talked about buying type. We've already talked about campaign objective. If I click on show more settings, you can set a campaign spending limit if you want to. Totally optional. So, I could come in here and say, "Look, I don't want to spend more than £1,000, for example, on this campaign." Um a lot of beginners find that quite comforting just to think if I forget it or something goes wrong, I'm not accidentally going to spend far more [9:50] than I budgeted for. You can obviously change that number to be whatever it is that you want it to be. I'm going to set none. We rarely set campaign spending limits. Most of the time when we're running ad campaigns, we're going to very much be involved um on a daily or close to daily basis, making adjustments, checking performance, things like that. So, we're on top of [10:08] things and don't need to set that. Advantage plus catalog campaigns can be a fantastic um campaign type, particularly for an e-commerce business, but not something that we want to worry about as beginners. It's a little bit advanced. I have other videos covering that. We're not going to worry about that for now. You'll hear me say that a lot as I go through this campaign creation process, by the way. And I'm really keen for your first Instagram ad campaign or one of your earliest Instagram ad campaigns as [10:32] a beginner to be as simple as possible. Let's reduce the barrier to entry. Let's try and make this simple. We can always add in complexity later on once we've uh got up and running. But, that's the important part of this. Let's get you up and running. Let's get you generating some leads. Let's get you generating some sales. And we can always look to expand from there. Next, we've got budget. So, we can set the budget at the [10:52] campaign level or at the ad set level. Here, we've got it at the campaign level by default. Here, you can see I can just change that. I'm quite happy to leave this at campaign level. To get started with, I only want you to have the one ad set. So, it doesn't actually make any difference whether you've got budget set at the campaign level or the ad set level. If we had multiple ad sets, which you can do, then setting the budget at the campaign level means that Meta will distribute your budget according to performance. So, if one of your ad sets is generating a better uh cost per [11:20] purchase, for example, or better cost per lead, it will get more of the budget than the other one. When you've got the one ad set, it doesn't really matter. Daily budget is what I'd recommend you do instead of lifetime budget. Lifetime budgets uh create a fixed time period uh for your campaign. So, say you wanted to run a campaign for 7 days or 14 days and have it end, you can go with lifetime budget. Most of the time you want to go with daily budget because that allows for more flexibility and more scalability. Let's say you go through this video, you create yourself a fantastic Instagram ad campaign, it's [11:49] producing great results, you don't want it to end. You want to be able to keep that thing running without having to recreate a new one. So, you can go with daily budget, also much easier to scale. Then you need to decide how much you want to spend. Now, Meta's just defaulted to putting £25 per day in here [12:04] and I've got some advice around that. Firstly, there is no magic number. There's no correct amount. People ask me all the time expecting there to be a right amount, not true at all. It's going to vary massively between businesses. What I'd recommend you do is start with a budget that you could afford to lose. There's no guarantee that your first Instagram ad will be a massive success. It may well be that your messaging was off or that video didn't land. These things are all fine to be expected. You can test other videos, test different messaging, test a price discount versus not, test adding in a guarantee to your service versus [12:34] not. Lots of things we can do to improve our offer, improve our ads, and but we want to plan for this not working out. If it does work out, brilliant. We can always look to increase the spend, but if it doesn't work out, we want to not put you or your business in any sort of financial difficulty. So, start with an amount you can afford to lose, experiment with a small budget amount where the stakes are nice and low. Then when it works, boom, we can look to scale. It creates a nice asymmetric risk where the downside is limited, the potential upside is massive. With that [13:04] said, you don't want to spend you don't want to start with a budget that's so small that it doesn't mean anything to your business. So, there's normally a sweet spot where you're going, I could lose this, but if I do, it would it'd sting a little. And that's going to mean that you're actually engaged emotionally with the campaign. You're going to come back in and check it, want it to succeed, be willing to put in the extra effort to make it work, to test new ads and things like that. If you set the amount so low, set it and forget it, whatever, it doesn't matter if it works, [13:31] it doesn't matter if it doesn't, etc. etc. So, there's normally a sweet spot for most people, and that's what I'd recommend. For some people, that's going to be $10 a day. For some businesses, that's going to be $10,000 a day. Like, not exaggerating, if they operate at a large enough scale, uh that'll absolutely be the case. So, I'm just going to go with the default for now, but that's my general advice when it comes to a starting budget um to to find that sweet spot. Okay, then we've got campaign bid strategy. This is slightly different from a campaign objective, and the options you see here will depend on [14:00] your campaign objective, right? So, how we'll bid in auctions. Highest volume means that because we've got a sales campaign, Meta is going to try and get us as many sales as possible. If we had a leads campaign, it would be as many leads as possible. There are some other options, so we could add in a cost per result goal, so aim for a certain cost per result while maximizing the volume of results. Not something I'd recommend for beginners, it can go wrong when using those. Same with the bid cap options. Uh this is grayed out for me, a [14:25] ROAS goal, so return on ad spend goal. Um so, instead of just optimizing for as many sales as possible, if I was to able to go for this option, it would optimize for as much conversion value as possible. So, it would weigh people that spend more, say at my e-commerce store, higher than others. Someone who buys $200 worth of stuff is much more valuable than someone who buys $40 worth of stuff, and that would be factored in to the bidding strategy. This is grayed out for me because we're advertising my inner circle, that's the same price for everyone. So, there's no differentiation in uh value in conversion value, [14:56] therefore we can just go with highest volume. But, if you do have differing checkout amounts, some people spend more than others, definitely go with that ROAS option instead. If you're lead based, far less likely to be an issue anyway, you're going to want to go with highest volume. We've got budget scheduling, you can set um a schedule when you're going to spend more, spend less. I typically wouldn't recommend [15:15] that unless you're a specific use case. Again, something you can look to add in as you uh progress and become more experienced with Instagram advertising, and the same would apply to AB testing. The same would also apply to audience segment reporting, something you can go in and add later on once your Instagram ad campaign is up and running. What this allows us to do is see our data and see our results by uh, new audience, engaged audience, and existing customers. So, you can see the breakdown of where your money's being spent on Instagram, and [15:45] also where your results are coming from. Are they Are any actually coming from new audience, or are we just retargeting to my existing customers? Obviously, you want a blend of of all three, and you can set that up. I have other videos uh, discussing this that you can check out. Not something to overcomplicate um, us [15:59] with for today. Special ad categories. This is something that you need to have a look at and do if it applies to you, even if this is your first Instagram ad campaign. [snorts] So, special ad categories, you can see here it says, "Declare if your ads are related to financial products and services, employment, housing, social issues, elections, or politics to help prevent ad rejections." If your ads had anything to do with any of those [16:22] categories, then you need to declare. You need to tick these options. It might be that you tick uh, more than one. Uh, so, financial products, employment, housing, etc. That will mean that some of the options you have at the ad set level, particularly when it comes to targeting, aren't there. So, if you're within a special ad category, you have reduced functionality, but it's much better that you do go and actually declare that you're a special ad category and tick this, because if you don't and you try and create ads anyway, then your ads will likely be rejected, and you could have your entire ad account disabled, which is definitely [16:52] something you don't want to do. So, if in doubt, go ahead and select one of these. The ads that I'm running in this instance for my inner circle don't None of these apply, um, and I think for the majority of you, they won't apply either. You can still follow along if you're within a special ad category, it's just that some of the options we come to, you won't be able to use. So, we're just going to go ahead and click next. We'll get back to the video in a second, but first, I want to tell you about Motion. In 2026, Meta's algorithm tests and kills creatives faster than [17:17] ever. Keeping up with the constant demand for new ideas can feel impossible. And Ads Manager's metrics don't give us the insights we need to make confident strategic decisions. Motion is an AI-powered creative testing tool that shows you exactly what's working and what to do next. Instead of racking your brain for new ad ideas or spending hours digging through Ads Manager, Motion gives you the inspiration and answers you need in one place. Inside my Motion account, I can check reports like creative type comparison to quickly see which formats perform best or hook score, which ranks hooks by how effectively they grab attention, so I know which styles to use [17:50] in future videos. Then, to feed Andromeda the new ideas to fuel ad success, I jump into the Inspo section. It suggests ad formats we haven't tested yet, shows tons of competitor ads you can easily filter through, highlights what's trending in your niche, and lets you deep dive into brands or competitors to see exactly what's working for them. So, you end up with a ton of ideas for your next test backed by insights from your own data. And maybe the most useful feature, Motion's AI chat Granite. It can answer anything from detailed data questions to creative ideas or even full ad briefs. It's basically your own creative strategist trained on your own [18:23] ad data and brand context for tailored recommendations. If you're serious about running Meta ads, it's one of the cleanest ways to turn performance data into a sustainable creative plan. There's a 14-day free trial if you want to try it. Link is in the video description. So, next we've got the ad set level. So, going through this, I'm going to name my ad set later on cuz it's going to depend on the options that I select. Then we get down to conversion location. Where do we want people to actually convert? Where are we sending them? So, the default here is website and app. I don't have an app, that's [18:52] certainly not what I want. Website and in store if you have in store, you could do all three, website and calls. Well, for my inner circle, it's not really set up to be calls. I just want to send people through to my website in this instance. So, I'm going to go ahead and select single as in send people to one [19:05] location as opposed to multiple. Um and then we've got some options here. Website, could be message destination, could be calls. You will see some different options and if you're running a lead campaign, but just have a think about where do I want to send people, okay? Do I want to send them through to my website? Do I want to send them through to WhatsApp to have a chat with [19:24] me? Do I want to use an instant form? So, when someone clicks on an ad on Instagram, they are presented with a form, they can fill out their details and then I can give them a call or email them or follow up and try to progress them from a lead into a customer. So, just have a think about that. Logically, I imagine the majority of you watching this are going to go with website, which is the exact option that I'm going to select as well. I want to send people to my website and that's where I want them to convert. I want them to register the [19:49] purchase conversion event. And then once we've selected our conversion location, next we've got performance goal. So, I talked about how important the campaign objective is and that's true. You can mess that up though with a bad performance goal. The default here is maximize number of conversions. So, in this case, get me as many sales, as many purchases as possible. This would apply for leads as well. We can change this though. We could change this for example to maximize value of conversions and that's going to factor in that differing conversions have differing values. Not all purchases are created equal. Some people will come through to e-commerce store and spend $200, others will spend [20:28] $40. Well, you want Meta to factor that in and put ads on Instagram in front of people that are more likely to spend more, therefore you're going to get a better return on ad spend from your Instagram ads. So, if you have differing conversion values as in some people buy more than others, then go with maximize value of conversions. In this instance, because I'm advertising my inner circle and it's the same price for everyone, there's no difference in conversion values, I can just go with maximize number of conversions. That's absolutely fine in in this instance. One thing or a couple of things I definitely don't want [21:00] anyone to do is any of these other goals. If you go with maximize number of landing page views, then your campaign is going to be optimized just like a traffic campaign. Same for link clicks. Meta is going to try and get you as many link clicks or as many landing pages as possible, not as many purchases or as many leads. If you go with maximize daily unique reach or impressions, that's basically going to function as like an awareness campaign. So, definitely none of these. Choose between these two. Most lead-based businesses are going to be maximize number of conversions. Most sales-based businesses are going to be maximize value of [21:31] conversions. Obviously, there are some specific use cases like in my instance where I'm just advertising the one thing with um the same conversion value. So, maximize number of conversions works fine. Then we've got data set, right? So, here is where um default has been this example ad account's pixel. That is the exact pixel that I want to use. If you have multiple, make sure you've got the right one selected. And now we just [21:52] need to take a little bit of a tangent. In order for Meta to be able to track the actions that people take on your website after they click on your ad on Instagram, you need to have the pixel, the Meta pixel, installed on your website. Now, I have a separate video that shows you exactly how to get that set up and installed. So, you can go ahead and check that out. You can find that um on my channel. Ideally, you would also have the conversions API installed, which is server-side [22:14] tracking. The pixel is browser tracking. This can get a little bit complicated and technical. Again, I have another video showing you how to set up um the conversions API, but you need to have at least the pixel as a minimum so that Meta actually knows what's going on. Who is making a purchase? Who is becoming a lead once we send people to this website? Because remember we talked about at the beginning with the campaign objective, Meta is going to work out all these data points to try and figure out who is most likely to convert and how to optimize your campaign. Well, they can't do that if they don't know who is [22:45] converting and whether it's, you know, people aged 43 who have 12 cats or whether it's people who live on a boat aged 67. I mean, you know, whatever. Just thought of two random examples, but Meta will find all those little elements. They can't do that if they can't see what's going on. So, I've got the right data set here selected, you want to check that, and then we can select the conversion event. So, because this is a sales campaign, I want to optimize for purchase. There are, of course, other conversion events. This is an example ad accounts, we've got lots of inactive events. Purchase is active, [23:15] but I could, for example, optimize for add to cart or complete registration or, depending on how you've set up the conversion events on your website. Again, you can check this out in that video that I talked about all about setting up your Meta Pixel. The majority of the time you're going to want to go with purchase if you're running a sales campaign or leads if you're running a leads campaign. So, I'm [23:36] going to go ahead and select purchase. And the same rule applies here with conversion event as it does with your campaign objective in that you want to optimize for the thing you really want. So, don't optimize for add to carts cuz Meta will go out and get you lots of people that add to cart but don't necessarily convert. You want purchases, that's what Meta's going to optimize for. Beneath that, we've got cost per result goal, not something you need to worry about for now, more of an advanced thing, and the same applies to value rules as well. Uh I'm going to ignore this, you probably won't see this cuz [24:03] you won't have any value rules um set up, but don't worry about value rules. They're fantastic, definitely something to get into later on, but let's keep it simple for now. Uh same applies to attribution model, we're just going to go ahead and use standard, and you don't need to worry about show more settings here, either. Then we get into the budget and schedule section. Now, we've already set the budget um at the [24:22] campaign level, so that's taken care of. Just like we could set a campaign budget spending limit, we can also set an ad set spending limit if you want to, particularly have multiple ad sets, you say like, "I don't want to spend any more than this on this ad set." Uh we can set the schedule, so start date, you know, this is just when I'm record defaulting to when I'm recording this video, and you can set an end date as well if you want to. If you're like, "I really just don't want this to forget about this thing and have it rack up a massive bill." You can go in and set an [24:46] end date. I'm not going to bother with that for the same reason I talked about previously, we're in our campaigns all the time monitoring things. If we want to turn it off, then we'll do it manually, but you can do that as an option. And again, you don't need to worry about the show more settings in here. Right, then we get into the audience section. Probably the thing that made Instagram advertising famous to begin with was the ability to be able to target people very specifically according to their behaviors online, [25:09] their interests and things like that. Instagram advertising has changed quite a lot in the last few years where targeting has become less important. Meta does a lot more of that for you as the platform has become more intelligent and more of the make or break, more of the skill of Instagram advertising is being done at the ad level, at the creative, at the offer level being put in front of people. But of course we still want to [25:30] make sure that we get this bit right. So, your audience, who you're going to target, who your ads are going to be put in front of, is now split into two different sections. We've got controls, so anything within this control section is a hard targeting constraint. As in Meta won't go beyond those boundaries, those people, and put ads in front of everyone else. But then we've also got suggest an audience where Meta will do exactly that. They will take the targeting inputs in this section as direction, as okay, you want us to target these people, we got that, we understand, but we will put ads in front [26:05] of other people if we think it's likely to lead to a conversion. Again, why it's so important that we've got our campaign objective and our performance goal set up correctly. So let's go into controls first. The first thing you want to decide is your target location. Now this is defaulted to the United Kingdom cuz that's where I'm based. But what you want to do here is not overthink it and just target the places in which you can serve people. So if we're a business that just operated in the UK and operated in the whole of the UK, then we'd go with the United Kingdom. We wouldn't try and be clever and think, [26:36] well, we're more likely to get clients from London, so let's go ahead and set London. Like no, Meta will work that out. We can go with the whole country if we can serve the whole country and Meta will work out the best places within the country to put our ads. Our business, we advertise and work with other businesses all over the world, so we're going to add in some of our major markets where we get lots of of customers from. So, places like the US, Canada, Australia, other English-speaking countries like Ireland. We get We would add in a bunch from Western Europe as well, most likely [27:10] Germany, Scandinavian countries where people typically speak great English, places like the UAE. So, we serve people literally from all over the world and we've had customers clients in 50 plus countries. One of my team did a count at some point which is really cool. But, we're probably going to come up with a list of like eight to 10 core markets that we advertise in. And if that's the situation with your business as well, absolutely fine to go ahead and do [27:32] exactly what I've done. The alternative could be that you're a local business. So, if I just go ahead and delete a bunch of these out so I can show you what that looks like. So, let's say for example, I was based in Oxford, city in England. I could go ahead and select Oxford the city and I could say I [27:50] just want to advertise to that area. I could say, you know, 10 mile radius around or just the city only. Be really quite specific. And this really depends on if you're a local business, how far are you willing to travel to customers if that's what you do, plumber, roofer, etc. Or how far are customers willing to travel to see you, if you're a gym, restaurant, etc., right? So, just have a real think about that. Think about the correct geographical area and add that in. Don't overthink it. Don't make your audience larger than where you can serve and don't artificially constrain it either if you can serve those larger [28:24] markets, okay? So, I for demonstration purposes, what I'm going to do is just go back to the UK. But, you can obviously follow along with the rest of this whether you're advertising locally or to most of the planet. Okay, we've got some more controls here. So, we've got a minimum age goes from 18 [28:38] up to 25. And this really should be seen as if you aren't allowed to advertise your products or services to people under a certain age in certain locations. So, for example, people have to be 21 to buy our products or services. Great, we'll select 21. Um but if not, then you can go with 18, that's absolutely fine. Excluding custom audiences, not something you need to worry about at this stage, more of an advanced thing. I'm not going to worry about the app install status cuz that doesn't apply. Languages is an interesting one. We've got all languages here, but let's say you're advertising in an area where people speak multiple [29:10] languages and you can only serve one of those languages uh because perhaps you your team only speak that language um and only able to help those people, well then great, you can go ahead and add in that language specifically and be clearer with that. A great way to potentially reach expat communities as well, a lot of advertisers will do that uh with languages. And that's all we've got access to within the controls, within the hard [snorts] boundary section. Next, we've got the suggested audience uh option. You can see this is all optional, you don't have to add in anything here. If you click on show settings, [29:39] firstly, we've got include these custom audiences. Custom audiences are warm audiences, people who have interacted with your business before. Could be people that have bought from you, existing customers, could be people that have uh joined your email list, visited your website, watched a video of yours on Instagram, followed you on Instagram, many different options. Again, not something you need to worry about from day one. Uh it's a good chance you don't have very large warm audiences at this stage either, so might not be of too much of value in it. I have tons of other videos, make sure you subscribe to my channel, you can find those, check [30:07] those out. They show you how to set up custom audiences, definitely something you want to add in later on. Then next, we've got this age section. Now, this is different from what we had up in controls because this is a suggestion. So, this is saying to Meta, "This is our audience, most likely they fall within this age range, but if you find someone outside of it that you think would be a fantastic prospect, by all means go and put my ad in front of those people." So, let's say when we have people again for in our inner circle, and I've done a few service that are all age ranges, but if I had to say [30:37] the most typical is probably going to be people say 25 uh to 55. So, I could narrow that down a little bit, give Meta some direction. You might have a much tighter age range of people that are interested. Uh it might be broader. Absolutely fine to leave that open. Remember, anything you leave open here, Meta is going to work it out for you. But, giving these suggestions will give Meta some more direction, and it might take less time for your ad campaign to get up and running and be successful if you can um uh be more specific with who you reckon they should target early doors. Uh then [31:08] we've got gender. Exactly same applies. Are you heavily one way or the other? If so, then you can go ahead and select, you know, 80, 90% of our customers are women, then go ahead and select women. In our case, it's very much a split, so we would leave that as all. Um and I would recommend that you're quite heavily skewed one way in order to to be more specific here. And then we've got detailed targeting. So, here we can add in interest, demographics, behaviors. You can browse through the various categories, and worth taking a quick look, or you can just start adding in things to um [31:38] uh typing in here, and Meta will make suggestions. So, for example, we could go with small business owners. One of the big categories of people that will be interested in our uh inner circle, in my inner circle, would be small business owners. So, don't overthink this. Just go ahead and add in a few options. Um you know, we can have small business owners, we can have business page admins. Uh so, people who are admin of a [31:59] business page on Facebook or Instagram. Um we could have people interested in social media marketing as an example as an interest. So, you can add in a bunch. There's no correct amount. You could have none, one, 17. Absolutely fine. Um this is just Think about this is just giving Meta some direction. So, that when they start running your Instagram ad campaign in a new ad account where they don't have much conversion data, they don't really know who is best to target, you're sort of pointing them in [32:27] the right direction to start with. They'll still test. Okay. Then we've got further limit the reach of your ads. This is not something I'd recommend you select. If you select this, I'll just quickly do it, Meta's going to say, "Look, you're likely to get worse results." And the reason why is that when you go through with it, this age, gender, other options within this suggestion audience become hard boundaries, hard constraints. So, Meta [32:48] has less flexibility with who to target. And to be honest, Meta systems are now really, really smart at working out who to put your ads in front of. You want to benefit from that. If you further limit the reach of your ads, you're not going to benefit from that, and that's not going to help you as an advertiser get the results you want from Instagram ads. And [33:05] transparency, I'm going to leave this. It's optional. In some instances, it may well be mandatory. You basically just need to say who is paying for the ads and who's the beneficiary of the ads. So, it's very, very simple. You can see, look, the advertiser and the payer are different. You just select the advertiser. If they're the same, which [33:19] is most likely, then absolutely fine. I'm going to leave that off cuz it's optional, but depending on where in the world you are advertising, you may need to turn that on. Then we've got placements, okay? So, placements are the locations on Instagram in this instance, but of course it could be Facebook as well, where your ads are going to be displayed. So, if we go ahead and click on show more settings, and we can see, for example, we've got the different [33:40] platforms to advertise on. [snorts] Um so, right now, by default, I'm advertising on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Threads. As this video is very much Instagram specific, and you may just want to advertise on Instagram, you absolutely can. We would just deselect the others and leave Instagram. And then within that, we've still got um different placement options, right? So, we can click in here, placement controls, and then select feeds and say, uh right, I am happy to advertise on the Instagram feed, but I don't want to advertise, for example, on Instagram stories. Now, that's absolutely not something I'd recommend you do, but just wanted to let you know that you can. If [34:15] you just want to advertise on Instagram, this is how I'd recommend you set it up, right? So, you leave just Instagram as a platform, and then within that, you let all the other options go. It may well be that you decide to advertise on Facebook as well. Depends on your brand and what it is that you are looking to achieve, in which case you can come back up here, turn that on. You can also run ads on threads, uh uh Messenger, etc., potentially WhatsApp. And the reason why we're going to set our placements up this way is that, just like those other things I talked about, trying to work [34:42] out who within your audience is likely to purchase, become a lead, whatever it is that you are optimizing for, Meta's also going to try and work this out. So, they're going to put your ads on stories and on feeds and work out, where do we get the best results? Is it in Reels? Is it in feeds? Is it etc., etc. And they will, as long as they can see, cuz you've got the pixel set up, who is converting, they will optimize over time and you'll see more of your budget being put into the placement options that deliver the best results for your business specifically. So, we want to [35:08] benefit from that situation. Then if we scroll down, we've got all sorts of things about brand safety, inventory filters, etc., etc., etc. Not stuff that I think most people need to worry about unless you're advertising for a big business with really strict, like, advertising controls. Some small businesses might be as well, but typically tends to be large corporations with all sorts of, like, brand safety guidelines and things like that. And then you are going to have to learn and and play with this sort of stuff, but I think that applies That's going to apply to very, very few people watching this video. So, we're going to [35:36] go ahead and ignore it. I don't mess with these when I create campaigns for my own stuff. So, let's go ahead. Ah, I was going to say go ahead and click next and then go to the ad level, but first we need to give this ad set a name. So, what I would do is I would just be descriptive of what it is that we set up here. So, we're advertising in the UK, uh IG only, remember, cuz we got rid of [35:57] the other placement options. Uh we had um interest in there, didn't we? We added in some interests, like, people interested in social media marketing, people who are admins of business pages on Meta, uh small business owners, things like that. So, I'm just going to put in interest. We could list those out if we wanted to. Uh we narrowed down the age range to 25 to 55, and that was about it. Again, this is just useful cuz if you get to a stage later when we've got lots of different ad sets, you want to be able to know which one's which when you're looking at relative performance. One thing I want to quickly [36:28] mention before we move to the ad level is this campaign score over here on the right-hand side. Now, we've got a 98 out of 100, which is pretty good. The only reason why we haven't got 100 is because we've been more selective with our placements and just gone with Instagram as opposed to having the other platforms. If we were to click apply now, Meta would um run ads on the other platforms as well, [36:48] Facebook, Threads, etc., and we get 100. As long as this score is high, it doesn't have to be 100, then you're good. Um and when you do that, you'll see Advantage Plus sales campaign or Advantage Plus leads campaign turn to on. This Advantage Plus isn't really a campaign type as much as it is a a state uh an optimization, let's say you're doing all the things in the way that Meta wants you to do. But, we've done this for a specific reason. This video is Instagram ads specific. You may just want to run ads on Instagram if that's where you've got a presence and you don't have a presence elsewhere. That's [37:16] absolutely fine. In which case, just something to be aware of. Okay, [snorts] let's now jump to the ad level. So, again, we'll name our ad at the end. Partnership ads are absolutely fantastic. Love partnership ads. It's where you can run an ad from both your account on Instagram and a creator's or influencer's account. And this is typically done if you've hired them to produce ad creative for you, produce a video promoting your products or services. Uh you could use imagery as well. Then you can run partnership ads as both from your account, their account. A fantastic way to stand out, a [37:47] fantastic way to leverage their brand. And some of the best performing ad results come from partnership ads. But, they're a bit more of an advanced thing. Let's get you up and running with a simpler campaign first. You can always come back and use partnership ads later on. And, you guessed it, I have a video on my channel talking all about partnership ads using the Creator Marketplace, um showing you exactly I've got to have multiple videos on that, showing exactly how to set those up and how to go about doing that, which you can uh progress to later on. Then we've got identity, so the profiles and [38:16] branding that will be used in your ad. Uh we've got make sure you get the right Facebook page selected, the right Instagram profile if you have multiple associated uh with your business portfolio. You'll have seen how to set that up in that other video when I got the meta ad account set up in the first place. And even if we're still just only running on Instagram, meta still wants [38:34] to have multiple identities in here. Branding, um you can see you can set brand defaults for this ad and future ads. Uh not something that you're going to want to worry about later on. Can be something you add in if you want to later. Not something that we always do. Then we've got ad setup. So we can create an ad or we can use an existing post. Now if you've got a post on Instagram that's performed really, really well, you could go ahead and select use existing post and then just you'll be presented with an opportunity to go and find it and you could select that one and go and use that. Most of [39:02] the time I'd recommend that you use create ad. Part of the reason for that is cuz we're typically going to use different um ad creative for ads than we are organically. Um if nothing else, our organic posts on Instagram typically don't contain a call to action because it would hurt the post organically if [39:18] we're trying to direct people elsewhere. Um it wouldn't get as big an organic reach, whereas you absolutely want to include that in your ads because you want to tell people the next thing that they should do. Click through, go and purchase, find out more, inquire, etc. Because more people will take that action. One strategy we will sometimes use is we will take our best performing Instagram uh posts, whether imagery, reels, etc. We will add a call to action at the end of that file or include it in the imagery and then look to run that um as an ad on on Instagram. So you can definitely do [39:50] that, but there's normally a little bit of a difference. So most of the time we're going to go ahead and select create ad as opposed to use existing post, but you can do that. Okay. Uh again at format section, we've got single image or video. You can go with carousel. Carousels are great. Ads where you have multiple cards, so an image and then um going to be some accompanying text like a headline for each one so people could say scroll through different product images if you're advertising uh multiple products all in one go. Uh but most people are going to go with single image or video, and [40:18] that's what I'm going to select. You can see Meta's got a pop-up here saying that's about to change soon. Multi-advertiser ads you can leave on. Your ad can appear with others in the same ad unit to help promote uh discoverability. In my testing, makes very little difference either way. And don't worry about show more settings for now. Then we get to the destination, where you send people after they click on your ad. So, main destination is website. We already set that at the ad set level. And then we want to enter in the URL, so the page that you're going to send people to. So, in this instance, [40:48] we're advertising my Inner Circle. Um that is a uh community hosted on School. So, I can just come into here, grab the URL to the about page. So, it's school.com/benheath/about. Um [snorts] and that's Let's start turning on the ad preview. As we populate the ad, we'll be able to see what it looks like in the various placement options as we go um through this process, which is really handy. I'm [41:11] not going to worry about display link. You can um display a different link looks a little bit different should you want it to. And then next we've got personalized destinations. Um so, if I click edit into here, we can see we've got a few different options. Two have been turned off automatically, one's been turned on. So, the first one [41:28] here is optimize website destination. So, send each person to a page on your website that's most relevant to them. Homepage, product page, collection page. I do not want Meta to be able to do that. I'm glad that this is off. I want Meta to send people only through to this School about page, where they can watch this VSL, they can find out about what's in it uh in my Inner Circle, which by the way, if you're interested, is 10 live calls a month with me, where you can jump on, share your ad account, share your ads, ask me any questions that you've got. Um I can give you [41:56] direct feedback, personalized feedback to your uh campaign. So, if you're interested, you can go ahead and uh and check that out. But, I very much want them to come through here. I don't want them coming through to another page. There may be some instances where you're happy with that if you're advertising a product page, come through to a different product page. Um Shop is also off. Again, doesn't really make sense in my instance cuz I'm just sending them through to school. And then we've got browser add-ons. Now, Meta has defaulted to including a WhatsApp uh browser add-on, so say add a WhatsApp button on your website so that people can message [42:23] there instead of um going through the process I want them to do. I've got a well-planned-out like VSL explaining all the benefits that people get from like the tailored advice, being able to get on those live calls with me. Like I want to go through a specific process, so I'm going to go ahead and turn those off. It may well be that you want if you're happy for people to, for example, um connect with you via WhatsApp and chat with you there, then you can go ahead and leave that on. So, I'm just going to turn those off, but something to be aware of. You may have different options [42:46] pop up uh for you depending on what you've got set up. Interestingly, now I've removed that, we can see our campaign score has gone down, but again, I I'm happy with that trade because I know why I'm doing that. Then we've got set up ad creative. So, you can add in here your image ad or your video ad because we selected a single image or [43:03] video up here as opposed to carousel. I'm going to go ahead and select a video ad. Now, you absolutely can start with image ads if you want to. They're actually simpler to get started with. Um video ads typically do perform better. So, if you do have video assets or can create video assets, that's the way I'd prefer you to go. We're primarily using video assets to advertise my Ben Heath Inner Circle, my school community, but like I said, you can use um image if you want to beforehand. So, we've got creative set up here. We've got all sorts of extensions, promotions is off, site links is off, products is off. I There's [43:37] no catalog connected. I think that's the best way to go for beginners. This stuff can get really complicated. It's not necessary in the vast majority of instances. Once you've gotten up and running, you've gotten your ads going, generated some sales, generated some leads, then you can look to add this other stuff in. So, I'm just going to scoop past this and go ahead and click next. Now, we need to get the uh media, so in this case a video, uploaded and added. So, you are unlikely to have the options that I've got here, which is stuff that's already in my account. This is an example ad account, so we add [44:06] things um in here. But, you may well, for example, be able to come through to Instagram and, you know, these would be recent Reels that I could go ahead and grab and and run as ads. Or, you can go ahead and do what I'm going to do, jump back to all, and then click upload, and then get um this video here uploaded, which just takes a second. Then, once that's been [44:26] uploaded, I can go ahead and click next. And then, we come through to this page, which is an option to trim. So, you can trim the video if it's not already how you want it to be. This has already been edited how I want it to be, so I'm going to go ahead and click skip and continue. And then, we get crop, so I can go with um, you know, we've got vertical and we've got square, the two sort of Instagram obvious options. Vertical is typically going to be things like stories, Reels. Square is going to be uh feed, think about it that way. So, obviously, vertical is perfect, go with [44:52] the it's been set up for vertical. Um square, I can go with the original, or I can punch in, doesn't quite work. What we've done instead is we've actually created a square version. So, I can go ahead and click on replace, and this is something I'd recommend you do um as well. And I can go ahead and upload the specific square version. This is kind of should be seen as like an optional extra. This is not something you have to do, but it is beneficial if you can create different um aspect ratios for different uh placement options. So, you have a square version of your videos or [45:20] imagery, you have a vertical version of your images or your video, it's likely to perform better cuz it's going to fit in the various placement options. Right, so whilst that's uploading, go ahead and click save. Uh we've got the square version added in there. Uh for some reason, it has removed the vertical version. So, let's go ahead and click save there, and there we go. We've got vertical version there, square version there. Uh whilst that's uploading, we're all good, we can move on to text. All right? So, we've got primary text, like I said, this is a campaign that we're already running, so [45:48] we've got some primary text examples. I'm going to paste one of them in here. So, you've got here, got get direct feedback from me on your ad campaigns for less than $60 per session. Inside Menace Circle, I host 10 live sessions every month we can ask questions, share your ad account, and get feedback on what to change, test, or scale. If you want help improving performance and avoiding costly mistakes, check it out before all the spots taken. Yeah, we're limiting the numbers obviously cuz it's live calls with me. We can't have that many people. So, if you're watching this and you're interested, link in the video [46:12] description. Go ahead and jump on it. Um Okay, so we've got that in there. And then what Meta will do is I'll use their AI to create a bunch of text variations based on what we've input in the first instance that we may or may not want to use. So, we've got Ambitious Marketers is like [46:29] the persona that the Meta's created. Want to transform your ad campaigns? Get personalized feedback from a seasoned expert for under $60. 10 live sessions a month. Ask questions, share your account, and get actual insights. Limited spots available. Secure yours now and start optimizing. So, we go, "Yes, I'll use that." Uh unlock your ad potential. Get direct feedback from seasoned expert I'm not going to read through all of these, but what you want to basically do is go through the options and assess, do I like this? Do I not? You could change this if you want like all the [46:54] exclamation marks are a bit too punchy. Let's put in a full stop instead. So, you can go in and change these and say, "Yes, I want to use them." Uh but Meta will allow you to use up to five primary text options. You can see one of five actually and then plus the AI variations. I'd strongly recommend you create more than one because Meta will then test those and they will try and work out which one gets the best possible performance. Uh the more you have in there, the more likely it is that you end up with a winner, okay? So, go through adding the ones that you want [47:18] to to use uh that fit with your brand. Don't use the ones that don't and then you're all good. Next, we get on to headlines. So, one of the headlines we've used in our actual campaign is get my feedback on your ads. We know that when we're running this ad campaign, we're mostly going to be putting ads in front of people that already know who I am, uh who are most likely to be interested in this offer. People who don't know who I am are unlikely to be interested in this offer anyway. Um so, that's the sort of headline that we can use. And again, Meta is going to suggest [47:43] various headline options, you know, get expert ad feedback under $60. Uh avoid costly mistakes. So, you can go through and then do the exact same process and you can add up to five headlines um again. And then we've got the call to action button. So, learn more is the default. I think that applies quite well, but there are lots of other options. Uh we could have, you know, depending on what you're advertising, like sign up, uh subscribe, uh shop now if you're advertising direct to someone buying a product. So, just go with the one that best describes the action that you want people to take. In this [48:14] instance, learn more works well. Very happy to use learn more because I do want them to click that, come through to this page, find out all about watch this video, find out all about the Ben Heath Inner Circle and the things that are included, and decide whether or not they want to sign up from there. But, you can choose it should you want to. Next, [48:28] we've got the creative enhancements. Now, these are things that Meta is going to do to your ad creative automatically to try and get you the best results possible. So, they've got these three by default turned off. We can choose to turn them on. These two turned on, so visual touch-ups and adapt multi-image uh format. So, basically, adjust the um creative so that it adapts to the different locations and spaces and things like that are turned on. Um this is a little bit more of an advanced thing. So, I have a separate video talking all about creative enhancements, which I strongly recommend that you check that out. It's also going to go [49:00] through what you will what you should do and what you will see if you're using images versus video cuz it will be quite different. If you've used an image, you'll see very different options to that here. So, I'd recommend you go ahead and check that video out at some point. Not something you need to worry about. Most of the time, you'll find just going with the default. Meta's only going to turn on the ones that it thinks are relatively safe. In this case, you know, just changing the the format slightly, the shape of it, and also the visual touch-ups to make it look a little bit better. They're not going [49:24] with some of the more experimental stuff, like adding video effects. For example, they haven't turned those on. But, if you want to go through, take a bit of time, do it. Like I said, check out the video. Most people, I would recommend let's keep it simple. Go ahead and click done and get your ad creative added in. And then we can start to really see what this is going to look like, right? We've got the video, we've got uh the copy down below here. This is what it will look like by various placement options. So, here we've got Instagram feed. Um if we keep scrolling, we can see what it would look like [49:53] instead on stories. Obviously, it's going to use the vertical version of the video. Well, actually, it hasn't here. Interestingly, they've got more text underneath and use the square version, but there will be instances where Meta's going to use the uh the vertical version. You can have a look at this. It's taking a bit of time to load. But, you can have a look at the various previews and what your ad will look like when it's actually put in front of people. Now, unfortunately, we've got an even lower campaign score. And it's because we're not taking advantage of [50:15] all the things that Meta wants us to do. So, like I said with the creative setup, we didn't set up site links, products, promotions, but we wanted to keep it simple. That's fine. We can add those in uh later on. Meta's saying we could add in extra media and have images as well. Well, yeah, you can absolutely do that. You can add image ads uh and things along those lines. So, um I wouldn't worry too much if you followed me exactly and you've got more [50:34] errors popping up and a lower score. There's reasons why we're we're doing these things that we've uh that we've ran through. Uh you can go in here and adjust anything you've added in like the primary text uh or the AI-generated options. You can add more text options in. You can keep doing do the exact same thing with various headlines. Um, and if you've you don't just have to do it going through that setup process, is what I'm saying. You can come in and edit this and adjust it and add things when you see it. Um, optimize text per person is enabled. I like that. I'd leave that on. Basically, what that [51:03] means is that Meta can choose to use your headlines in place of your primary text, vice versa, etc. That's absolutely fine. And then we've got this call to action section. I talked right at the beginning about AB tests. Don't worry about those for now. Definitely something we can look to do um later on. [51:18] Uh but let's keep it simple get started. You can see there's already things to go through even keeping it very, very simple. And then we've talked about the various creative enhancements um and things that you may or may not want to use. I have a whole separate video um that you can just go to my channel, search creative enhancements, [51:33] it'll pop right up to run through that. Creative testing is fantastic for when you're introducing new ads. So, when you want to be able to you've already got ads running in an ad set, and you want you've created some new ads, you want to test them alongside the existing, then you do that through the creative testing tool, not something to worry about right now, but one for the future. Again, I have a separate video about that. I know I'm I'm mentioning that a lot, but I want to make sure you're aware that there are resources to help you out with all these things, should you be interested. Event [51:59] details are only going to apply if you've got an event, so not relevant here. Languages, so you can add your own translations or automatically translate your ad to reach more people in more languages. Might be something that you want to do, particularly if you're selling physical products where any language barriers wouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't do it in this instance because the Inner Circle is all about live calls with me and being able to talk with me. So, if you can't speak English, doesn't really work. So, I don't want to advertise in other languages that might mean might mean people sign up who then I can't deliver [52:27] for. But, that might not be true for yours. If you're advertising a software or physical products, for example, where it doesn't matter what language you they speak, they want to buy, they want to buy, that's fine. And then you've got your tracking, just double-check to make sure you've got the right pixel associated. If you have multiple pixels, we talked about that earlier on, and then we are good to go in terms of our ad stuff, assuming you don't want to use advanced tracking, which I would not recommend for most beginners. Then we need to come up here. So, what we're going to do here, Inner Circle [52:56] direct-to-camera ad. Sounds good. Just some descriptor, so again, once we've got lots of ads, we know which ad this is versus other ones where I may be outside or it might be a different format, it might be a skip format or something along those lines. Lots of different ads, but we've got our ad setup now. And that is the basics of a campaign. We've got a campaign setup, [53:18] we've got an ad set setup. We have our ad setup, we can go ahead and click publish. What will happen is Meta will put this through the review process to make sure it doesn't violate advertiser policies. Once that's been through that, it'll go live and it'll start delivering and being put in front of people. And then what you can do, if I minimize this down, is regularly come back in here and [53:38] you can take a look at the results here. So, if we go to the campaign level, once this isn't draft, this is published, you can have a look at the results, your cost per result, all sorts of metrics, how many people did it reach, etc. to be able to assess performance and how well it's doing in comparison to what you need it to do for your business when it [53:54] comes to generating leads and sales. So, right now we've got a very simple campaign structure. We've got one campaign, one ad set, one ad. And it's absolutely fine to start that way, but fairly quickly you're probably going to want to add in either more ads, potentially more campaigns. You're probably going to want to advertise more than the one thing if you sell more than the one thing. So, for that I'd recommend that you check out this video where I detail my recommended campaign structure, what it looks like if you're just advertising the one thing or multiple things, how you would look to to build that out. That's a logical next [54:23] step in terms of things to watch if you've been through this, you've gotten up and running, and you're looking to add to it. So, go ahead and give it a watch. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
