Today, AI agents can automate so many things I used to do manually, like researching ideas and posting to all the social media apps. My friend Zach is going to show you how to build a Hermes agent that automates your social media marketing and saves you 15 hours per [0:23] week. But first, what is Hermes? The easiest way to think about this is that Hermes is your brain, right? It's your orchestration agent. And Blotato is your social media layer, right? Uh you can repurpose any type of content, YouTube videos, LinkedIn posts. Uh you can drop any type of content in here and it can repurpose for any platform. And it just makes it really easy and it handles all of your social media automations and and posting. You can also create visuals and you can schedule posts, so you don't have to think about it. They just get created and then they [0:53] get scheduled and then they get posted. you get into Blotato, you can navigate the dashboard a little bit and get familiar with uh all the functions and features and what it can do. But what's beautiful about AI agents is that you can just give them an API key and then they can go do all the fun stuff uh that [1:08] is needed to be done on any platform. But uh as you can see with Blotato, you can schedule posts. You actually uh use templates to make videos. It's a nice visual layer to kind of track everything that's been posted or published uh and that kind of thing. Uh what I'm going to do first though is connect my social [1:25] medias. Uh Blotato makes it super easy. It's just like one click. I can connect Instagram, connect X, LinkedIn, YouTube, whatever, right? Uh so, I'm going to do that first. How I'm going to do that is go over to settings, click settings, and I'm going to see uh my ability to connect any type of social media account. And literally, it's a one-click login. So, I clicked Instagram, I logged in with Instagram, I clicked LinkedIn, I logged in with LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., X. And it kind of shows right here uh what you've logged in with. Uh so, it's really pretty straightforward, pretty simple. So, just choose the socials that [2:00] you want to log in with and uh, you'll be able to post to all of them and it'll be in a way and designed to where it makes sense for that platform when you repurpose content. So, I'm going to show you right now how I'm going to do that with Hermes. Using Hermes desktop, you can use any type of Hermes, whether it's in the terminal or whatever. If you don't have Hermes, it's free. Uh, you [2:18] can just install it. It's open source. Here's my Blotato API key. Please save this securely and then when I ask you to post content, uh, you can use this API to post on different platforms. All right, sweet. After a few minutes, it saves the key and now I just want to confirm that it's connected. So, I might say something like, [2:36] "Can you confirm Blotato is connected?" So, if I have you repurpose content and post on my Instagram or post on my X account, you'll be able to do that for me. Okay, sweet. Got the confirmation. Looks like it was connected, which is great. So, now I can start repurposing some content. All right, the first piece of content I want to repurpose is a video I made about Hermes agent versus Open Claw uh, and I wanted to create like a an Instagram post um, as well as an X post just [3:03] repurposing uh, content I already made. So, I'm going to go ahead and grab the URL. [3:12] Copy that and then I'm going to bring it over to Hermes. I want to repurpose this YouTube video about Open Claw uh, versus Hermes and pros and cons and that kind of thing. Can you uh, go ahead and draft up a Instagram post as well as a um, X post about uh, this video [3:36] uh, using Blotato. Then I'll paste in the link and just hit go. All right, here's the draft it generated for Instagram and for X. Uh, pretty good. So, I'm going to actually just just post it. It took my video, grabbed it and transcribed it and came up with you know a a short uh post but it makes sense for Instagram the one it came up with and then it came up with one for X and it's you know it's shorter sweeter it even like um has some publishing notes and everything on it uh so and it also promotes my video so I like that um so I say I'm going to use [4:14] that or maybe I'll tweak it a little bit I can go back and forth with Hermes but also generated an image cuz I asked it to generate a visual as well uh and it generated an image of them working together um and you know that it's missing an arm but I can always just prompt it again like hey one of the uh logos is missing an arm or maybe I'll just leave it it looks kind of funny I don't know uh but uh what's amazing is I could just use natural language and just keep talking to Hermes and uh it can go ahead and and post it for me so [4:44] that's do it you know that I'm going to say full send that's post it so I'm going to uh go to my Hermes agent I do talk to text I'm going to say hey this looks great go ahead post this on my Instagram and then post it on uh my X account and let me know when that's done all right it's posting as you can see down here it's going through the tasks the steps I like that it explains its thinking it's currently posting on X through Blotato boom looks like I got to go all green check marks that's a good thing says it's published uh on X and Instagram just like that [5:19] and uh the image the post everything uh super cool super easy natural language I don't ever have to worry about like manually doing this I can just uh have my AI take care of that which is amazing so I can be more consistent I can be posting on multiple platforms at one time uh and just having more reach whatever it is I love or my business or just my life and I want to share it I can share it to more people all at the same time so it's really nice and I can also schedule stuff, too. So, like uh what I'm going to probably do [5:50] next is hey, come up with a couple more concepts. Maybe I'll give them like two or three of other of my YouTube videos and say like, hey, create me content for the next couple weeks. I'll schedule them out, post it every other day, and I can say what platforms I want posted, when I want posted, and it's automatically going to schedule them for me, create the content, and post it. Very handy, very useful. Uh really a no-brainer. Just simple natural [6:18] language. I was able to get that done. So, I love it. It's just an easy way to get my content out there, get more reach, you know? So, that's it for the setup. Pretty simple. Hermes as the AI operator and Botato as the social media automation layer.
