# Instinct AI Saved Me $14,000 Already. Here's How Channel: Dr. Josh C. Simmons Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh2IDLaP7_Y Duration: 12 min Language: English Words: 2585 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/jh2IDLaP7_Y --- [0:00] I've been testing a new super exclusive AI tool called Instinct. Conservatively, it's on track to save me about $14,000 in the first year. This includes maxing out credit card benefits, finding unclaimed funds, negotiating contracts, and saving money on travel. We have a newborn and a 4-year-old at home. It's chaos in the Dr. J household right now and I've been handing this thing errands one-handed while holding the baby from the couch through iMessage. It found useful stuff. It confirmed my shipping address and then it placed Amazon orders for me all without leaving iMessage. But [0:37] first up, what is this guy's angle? This is a very mysterious company. The way you get access is by text. If you go to Instinct's website, I thought I had the wrong website. Here it is. It looks like something out of the late '9s. And if you think of it, the branding and positioning of this makes the company's hypothesis clear. It's that graphical user interfaces are dead or dying and the new interfaces are going to be chat driven through iMessage or through voice. And so I love actually that their [1:09] website instinct.com is like nothing. It's a link to a weight list and an email address. That's it. No styling. And I should say before we get any further, this video is not sponsored by Instinct. I have been trying to reach out to them for comment, but even the way I got access to this is very mysterious. I started to follow the breadcrumbs on X because I saw people talking about Instinct. I found the website. I'm like, there's no way this is the correct website. I texted to get on the weight list. You actually text Instinct to get on the weight list. And then I started blowing it up. I'm just [1:42] like, are there any hacks for me to get on the weight list faster? Uh, I run a YouTube channel. I might do a review of this. Can I get on the weight list faster? And then mysteriously the next day I got access to Instinct. Go figure. So I think some of this intelligence is getting back to the team somehow. Now best is I'm able to sus out this kid Noah Shin. You know he looks he looks young. I don't know how old he is, what his background is. I don't know anything about this guy. He only he has under 20,000 followers and it's like one of [2:12] the hottest AI apps in San Francisco right now. I think he is the brains behind the operation. I've reached out for comments. I've chatted up Instinct. I'm like, "Hey, get me in touch with Noah. I want to do an interview with him on my channel. I want to see what's up." Because I'll tell you, we'll get into it a little bit later after I talk about what it's saved me money on, where that 14,000 figure is coming from. But I'll tell you, the app is the least [2:35] interesting thing about this whole play. And we'll get into what that is later. You're not going to guess it. So, first off, the savings. My credit card gives me $100 to use through a restaurant on resi every quarter. Sometimes I use this benefit. It's been easy with the four-year-old because my wife and I had date night. Like I mentioned, we have a two week at whole two week old at home right now. We ain't doing date night for [3:01] a little while until the kid gets older. So, I just kind of gave up the resi credit for lost when uh it proposed when Instinct proposed, hey, you have a resi credit. It's going to go bad pretty soon. Do you want to use it? I said, you know, no, date night's not going to [3:14] happen. We have a two week old at home. And it said, actually, that's fine. You can use it for takeout. Might I recommend Benihana because they have an additional stackable $20 coupon that you can use at the location close to you. I said, that sounds great. Let's set it up. Otherwise, I would have left $120 on the table. So, it was a nice free dinner with room left over. Now, it's no Maple and Ash Scottsdale. Oh, I hope to get back to this place one day, but still, a free dinner is not nothing, especially in this economy. Some other cool savings. I have an Aura Ring. You pay a [3:44] subscription cost for this. It's low, but it's going to save you $200 a year on your credit card rewards on mine in particular. And I don't even know about this. Instinct told me about it. It enrolled me in the program, and now I'm going to save 200 a year on the subscription cost of this, which essentially makes the subscription free every year. Now, there's a bunch of additional savings, and I could run you full through a full ticker of what has saved me where, but I figured it'd be boring if I kept droning on. I just want to give you the categories. One area I [4:11] got $5,000 back in was unclaimed funds. This is a super interesting one. I just texted Instinct. I logged it into my Amazon account. I said, "Go back through all of my addresses in Amazon, and here's a couple of cities I lived in before Amazon Prime was a thing. Look at the unclaimed property websites for all of the places I've lived. Search my details and try to find the forms and file the paperwork." it filed all of the paperwork and now I'm getting thousands of dollars back that I otherwise would have given up for loss. If you use it one time for this, then it's probably going to be worth it for you. The other [4:47] cool thing I really like about this opposed to Chat GBT or Gemini is it will get its elbows out. Okay, a little bit more on that later, but the rumor is this is using a lot of open-source models under the hood, which means those open source models are going to have less rejection reasons built in where you might talk to OpenAI and they'll say, "Oh, I'm sorry. you can't assist [5:06] with that. That's a little mean. Instinct is going to be like, "Sure, boss. I got it. Let me go ahead and execute that for you." That's exactly what I expect in an AI assistant. I don't expect to be moralized or lectured at. I expect the computer to do what I ask it. Radical idea, I know. And so, I told it, "I'm paying too much for my wife and my cell phone plans. We're paying too much. I don't like how much I'm paying. Log into my Verizon. See what you can do. Propose alternatives, whatever." And what it did was very devious. It talked with support. It got [5:37] a number transfer PIN. It threatened to cancel service. I told it to actually never cancel service. I don't want to lose my phone number. And it got 25% off by haggling for the next year. So, I've saved I don't even want to say how much. I pay an embarrassing amount uh for cell phone plans, but a significant amount of money with 25% off over the full year on Verizon because it wasn't afraid to negotiate and play some hard ball with these gig giga corporations, which was a a huge huge win. Uh other LLMs will not do this for you. Okay. Okay. Last one. I promise. I'm I'm just stoked on this [6:13] stuff. I I'm again not sponsored by uh Bearbells. Uh Bearbells, call up Dr. J. I would love to have you as a sponsor. I will do it for free if you just send me cases of these protein bars. These are like these taste like candy bars, but they're protein bars. They're hands down the best protein bars other than maybe Met RX bars that I've ever had in my life. love these things. They are ridiculously expensive. You can get them at Trader Joe's is where I was picking them up by the box. They give me a funny look at the checkout and I'm just like socially I can't go through [6:45] that again. So I I'm just I'll I'll ask Instinct. I'm like instinct. I'm addicted to these bars. I I can't stop eating them. I have to have one in the evening before I go to bed is my little sweet treat. How do I get these for the cheapest cost per bar? And it's like, [7:00] well, boss, you can get these on Amazon. Subscribe and save. And I'm like, this is how many I eat. This is how many my wife eats. How many are we going to need for a month supply? This many. Go ahead and order that up for me. Okay. On it. Right. The bars show up at my front door. I am in the desert in Arizona, my friends. It is 110° [7:21] Freedom Units outside. The bars show up. Immediately when FedEx drops them, I go out and get them. I bring them inside. I open them up. They're packed up with some foil and a couple of dry ice packs, right? I open it up and these ice bags are totally melted. In fact, I stick a thermometer in it to see the temperature and it's like 98°. So, the bars are are Uh, and spoiler, I'm still going to eat them. like if these things melted out of the package, I would lick the box clean. That's how addicted I am to these. Um, but I'm like, I'm not paying [7:52] for them because they're melted bars. So, I told Instinct, I'm like, they're melted. Here's the photo. Here's a thermometer. It says 98° inside one of these gel packs. And it's just like before I had to say anything else. It got me a full refund for the bars and then placed another order for me. Okay. I didn't ask it to do that. It just went off and did it. It was already logged into my Amazon account and it just it [8:12] just did it. It's extremely proactive. The reason this tech is going to be so viral, this I think is going to take off or probably get acquired by OpenAI or Anthropic if they're smart enough to do it, which yeah, you never know. Normies are going to use this. I get I have referrals. I have codes to give out. If you join the Discord server, I'm [8:31] dropping those codes in there regularly. I think I have about six more to give out. Uh once you get access, you get a certain number to give out, too. It's kind of like a Ponzi scheme, although nobody's charging anything for anything yet, which we'll get into that in a minute. That's one of the wild things [8:46] about this. But normies are using this. Like my wife is, she used this to check uh a couple of things for the doctor's office that were going to uh to get newborn checkups to the pediatrician. You know, she's having it do simple tasks for her. She doesn't typically use LLMs other than, you know, write this email for me or something like that, but she's using something that's fully agentic because it has this productivity built into it. So, I think this tool is [9:12] going to be this is the new paradigm. Um, probably through iMessage because it's less threatening to people that don't typically use LLMs in an agentic way. And when I say agentic, I don't mean like a handwavy way. I mean like, you know, open a web browser, go do this, go actually take user actions for me. This is going to open the door to [9:29] regular people being able to do that. Okay. Now, here's why you come here. Here's the good information that nobody else is going to give you on just an instinct padded review. And we'll go through the proof docs here to back it up as well cuz you know the doctor always brings sources. So, the wildest thing about the tech isn't that I am paying nothing for it. My wife is paying nothing for it. Anyone I've given an invite is paying nothing for it. It's it's totally free to use right now in this like early stage beta or trial. The founder Noah wants to continue [10:00] not charging users for the product. Again, they are using open-source models for the most part and they want to own chips and data centers. So, this is a vertical integration play. This is validated by multiple sources. Valita Pow saying Instinct CEO has privately said he doesn't want to charge users a fee. to meet hot user demands, they need to get more GPUs as Instinct is running at full capacity sometimes. And in full disclosure, in my use of it, there have been one or two times where it's just failed to respond or just gone offline completely for a little bit. And I actually were going to do this live. I [10:37] in my research dug up this tweet by Noah Shin saying that the interface is simple. There are no new interfaces. You can text or call it. It's trained to use a phone and a computer in the same way that humans do. So, I have actually never called it. I've only interacted with text for it. Let's go ahead and give it a call real quick and see what [10:55] happens. Phone calls are in employee only testing right now. We'll open phone access more broadly soon. Okay, so it sounds like it's an employee testing only right now. That's a bit of a buzzkill. I was hoping we'd have a bit of a back and forth there. Anyways, I'm genuinely stoked on this tech. I hope that I get in touch with Noah Shin. If you have any connection with him or anyone that is working at Instinct, please let me know. Oh, it would be awesome to get him on the Dr. J show and figure out what the hell is the play here. Anytime I see a divergent play [11:25] from the regular pricing models and a user interface that just works, especially for normal people, I get pretty stoked about it. And obviously, it's been really helpful for me while nap trapped on the couch. If you want to get using Instinct, like I said, I have a few invites remaining. Go to drshimmons.com/links. Join the Discord server. Hit me up in there. I'm pretty active in the Discord server for a referral link. I will happily toss you one of those. You can give them to your friends. Uh we're reaching the point they've released a feature uh just a couple of days ago that's in early beta where my instinct [11:59] can talk to other people's instincts. So you can have it schedule stuff with your friends uh group plan a trip etc etc mediated by Instinct. I'm really excited where this technology is headed. Curious to get your thoughts in the comments below and please reach out if you would like an in an instinct invite. That is [12:17] hard to say on the Discord server. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
