# I Found 5 Boring Businesses Quietly Making $100K a Month (Public Data) - Part 1 Channel: Sean Standberry Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6lwuJ6q-f4 Duration: 12 min Language: English Words: 2344 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/b6lwuJ6q-f4 --- [0:00] This audit tool just told me what a $97,000 a month software business is actually built on. And it's the same platform anyone can put their own name on for $497 a month. There's a public page that lists every company doing this at scale. More than a,000 of them. And when you cross it with their pricing pages, you can back into what they make every single month. So today, I'm going to take five of them apart. All selling software to boring local businesses. And every number I put on screen is something you can check yourself in about 2 minutes. And at the end, I'm going to rebuild one of them from a [0:34] single paragraph. Then you're going to watch it get asked for a price on a live call and refuse to make one up. Now, real quick, I've been running my own marketing agency since 2011. And I pull up our payment processor in every one of these videos to prove I'm legit. There it is. That's $339,000 from our clients in a single month on Stripe. 307 social media clients plus some other clients we run things like Google ads and email newsletters for. I do this every time because a lot of people teach business on YouTube without ever showing one real number. All right, let's get started with chapter one in [1:09] the public leaderboard. The page is High Level's awards page. Highle is an all-in-one software platform and the part most people miss is that you're allowed to put your own name and logo on it and sell it as your own software. Your customers never see the word highle anywhere. Every year they hand out awards for doing that at scale. And here's the cheat code. The awards are based on sub account count and they publish the thresholds right on the page. Gold means a minimum of 100 sub accounts. Platinum is a minimum of 500 and diamond is a minimum of 1,000. Now, I want to be straight with you about [1:44] that word. It says sub accounts, not customers. For most of these companies, that's one per customer, but it isn't a guarantee. So, I'm going to stay conservative the whole way through. When I counted the list, there were 882 names in gold, 109 in platinum, and 109 in diamond. So, 109 companies have crossed a thousand sub accounts on this one platform. That's the number that should stop you. And here's what I want you to do while you watch. Drop the niche you pick in the comments and I'll check this list and tell you if somebody's already doing it. And then you go find their pricing page, multiply, and subtract one [2:18] bill. That's the whole overhead. $497 a month for the agency pro plan. And the page literally says it's the one for people going sauce. A,000 sub accounts at the cheapest price in today's video is $97,000 a month minus that $497 a month. And every single business on that list is running on go high level. [snorts] [2:40] That's the requirement for the award. And that plan right there, Agency Pro, is the one my link gets you a free 30-day trial on. So, if you want to try this yourself, the links in the description, and it comes with access to my community and all of my bonuses, but more on that later. That's revenue, not what the owner keeps, and we'll get to that. But that's the math, and it's all [3:01] public. Now, here's where it gets good. Chapter 2 and the five tool tear down. And I picked the most boring business I could find. Notaries, the people who stamp your loan documents. This is the notary success marketing software from Loan [snorts] Signing System, and it's a diamond winner. So, a minimum of a thousand sub accounts. Read the line under the logo because this is the whole lesson of the chapter. Built exclusively for notaries, not for small business, not for service companies, notaries. And the price is $97 a month marked down from $147 or $997 a year. A,000 sub accounts at $97 is $97,000 a month minimum. And diamond is the floor, not [3:42] the ceiling. There are about 4.4 million notaries in the United States. Loan signing agents are a slice of that, but it's a big slice of a very big number. Now, I'm going to run five tools on this one company, and you can do all five for free. Tool one was the pricing page times the sub account count. That's [4:00] done. Tool two is the Wayback Machine. Their site's been saved 286 times going back to March of 2016. That's 10 years of one company working the same niche, and every version of it is sitting there in public. Tool three is LinkedIn. The company page says two to 10 employees. So now you can take that $97,000, subtract payroll, and get somewhere [4:22] close to what the owner actually keeps. It's an estimate, but it's an estimate built on public numbers instead of a guess. Tool four is the meta ads library, and this one's my favorite. Search the advertiser, not the keyword. That's the step everybody gets wrong. And look at that, about 41 live ads running right now. But here's the part that actually matters. This ad started running in June of 2025 and it's still active. Nobody keeps paying for an ad [4:49] for 15 months unless it's making money. So, the old ads aren't the stale ones. The old ones are the winners. And the income numbers you see in those ads are their claims from their own marketing, not mine. Tool five is built with the tool I open this video with, and this is the best 15 seconds in it. Builtwith tells you what any website runs on. And right there in the list, highle lead connector. I didn't have to guess whether this company is built on the platform because the audit tool says it out loud. 92 live technologies on the site and the domain goes back to February of 2016. There's nothing exotic [5:23] in that list. It's the same dozen tools everybody has. The moat isn't the software. The moat is that they picked notaries and then stayed there for 10 years. Five free tools, one boring niche, and a business doing six figures a month. By the way, that platform they're all built on is the same one I run my entire agency on. and all of my clients. So, if you haven't tried GoHigh Level yet, use my link down in the description. When you sign up with my link, you get the free 30-day trial, plus access to my community with over 100 video lessons, the AI agents and skills I'm building, and other bonuses [5:56] completely free. And if you already have High Level, you can join my community directly for $497 a year right now. That price is going up soon. So, if you want in at $497, now's the time. All right, so that's one company taken apart five different ways. Let's speed up chapter three in the ad library test. And I've got two diamond winners here doing the exact opposite of each other. First one is gyms. The software is called Gymnetics and the marketing brand is called Big Little Gyms. And you can see it right in their [6:27] own footer. Powered by Big Little Gems. Two names, one business. That's how these are actually put together. And look at what they say they replace. Zapier, Clickfunnels, Active Campaign, Minihat, Acuity, Mailchimp, 11 tools, one bill. That's the entire pitch for white labeling. They don't publish a price anywhere. And that tells you something on its own because cheap [6:48] products always publish their price. About 36 live ads. And these two started running in October of 2024. That's almost two years still running, still being paid for. If you copy one ad out of this entire video, copy that one. Now, second company, and this is where it gets interesting, Credit Repair. Credit Repair Cloud, also a diamond winner. $49, $179, $299, $399, and $599 a month. A,000 sub accounts at the $179 tier is $179,000 a month. And here's the opposite signature. About 29 live ads, and not [7:25] one of them is older than 3 months. Every single one launched this summer. So, think about what you just saw. Two companies, both pass a thousand customers. One found two ads that work and has written them for two years. The other one rebuilds its whole ad account every quarter. There isn't one right way to do this. There's only testing. So now let's talk about the company that barely advertises at all. Chapter 4 in the second product, Clean Biz Network Diamond Winner. $99, $179, $799, and $1,499 a month. And look at how they split those tiers. is by the customer's own revenue and the expensive plans promise a number of booked [8:04] walkthroughs every month. So, they're not really selling software at $1,499. They're selling booked appointments and the software rides along. That's how you charge 15 times your cheapest plan. And here's their whole ad account. Three live ads. A company passed a,000 sub accounts running three ads with 4,200 followers on Facebook. Now, follow where those ads actually point. they go to a second product built for the same customers they already had. And that's the most valuable thing in this entire video. Meta ads are one way in. They're not the way. Once you own the relationship with one boring niche, the second sale is almost free. And that's the part nobody teaches. All right, so [8:44] now let's build one. Chapter 5 in the voice AI agent setup. Pest control. This is Pest AI and their pricing goes from free to $49 to $597 a month to $2,000 a month. Their product is an AI agent that answers the phone and books the appointment. And they don't run a single Facebook ad, search their name in the ad library, and nothing comes up. So, [9:07] they're not winning on attention. They're winning on the thing they built. And I like their offer and I like what they're building here. So, let me show you how easy it is to rebuild. I'm using a real pest control company for this. Spectre Pest Control out of Atlanta. And here's why they're the perfect example. Look at their hours. Monday through Friday, 9 to5, closed all weekend. So, somebody finds mice in their garage on a Saturday morning, calls, gets nothing, [9:33] and calls the next company on the list. That's the whole pitch. And it's on their own contact page. Now, watch this. Because I didn't build the agent by hand. I typed one paragraph. create a voice AI agent for Spectre Pest Control named Riley, whose only goal is to book callers a free inspection and connect it to the knowledge base titled Spectre Pest Control. So, it pulls our services, service area, hours, and guarantee from there instead of inventing anything. So, you can pause right here if you want to read the whole thing. And this is exactly the kind of thing I'm building for my community now. Agents and skills, [10:07] not just prompts. Same link in the description. And notice what I did not do there. I didn't type their hours into the prompt. I pointed it at a knowledge base. So, when the business changes something, they update the knowledge base and the agent never goes stale. It came back with the whole build laid out, the greeting, the questions in order, the calendar it books into, and the rules. And look at the rules it wrote in. Never quote or estimate a price. If somebody asks whether it's a real person, say it's an AI assistant that handles scheduling. And if anyone asks about safety around kids or pets, don't [10:39] answer. take their number and flag it for a human. Those three rules are the difference between an AI you can put on a client's phone and one you can't. And then it's live. That's an AI receptionist for a pest control company built from one paragraph. Now, let's call it. And I want you to watch one specific moment here because this is the thing that scares every business owner about putting an AI on their phone. The caller asks what the service is going to cost and it doesn't make up a number. It says it couldn't find the pricing and that a team member will call back with a [11:10] clear answer on the cost. That's exactly the behavior we set up and it held. That's the whole ball game. A madeup price is the single fastest way to blow up a client relationship and it just didn't happen. And on a different call, it went all the way through and booked the appointment. There it is on the calendar 8 in the morning. So that's a wedge product. It gets you in the door at a few hundred a month and everything else you sell that business comes after [11:34] it. And that's just the front door. Everything behind it is what I build in part two. Now, the version of this I actually run is AI social media management. That's what I sell and that's what my community teaches step by step. But every company in this video is doing the same four moves. One boring niche, their own name on somebody else's software, a couple of ads that work, and [11:54] then they stayed. And this is part one. In part two, I'm going to take one of the businesses on that list and clone the whole thing on screen. the website, the social media post, the ads they're running right now, and the software underneath it, start to finish. So, drop the niche you'd pick in the comments, and I'll check the list for you. and I'll see you in part --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
