# 5 Claude x CapCut Hacks You Didn't Know Existed Channel: Modern Millie Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yskwk1z_JTQ Duration: 12 min Language: English Words: 2373 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/Yskwk1z_JTQ --- [0:04] It is here, the video you have all been waiting for. Claude and CapCut hacks to help you streamline your video editing workflow. So, many of you have loved my CapCut videos and many of you have loved my Claude videos. So, I thought, why don't we just marry the two? This is just a round up of the top five editing hacks that I feel like a lot of people don't know about or that I felt would be the most valuable to a lot of you watching. I'll briefly go over how to set up each of these hacks. I'll give you some Claude prompts that you could steal. And for any that I feel like [0:34] require separate video tutorials or like thorough explanations, I'm also going to link some other YouTubers YouTube videos to help you with other step-by-step processes. So, be sure to check out those resources linked down below. As always, timestamps are below. Use them if you need them. Let's jump to the good stuff. Hack number one is creating animations. You can now use Claude to create really cool animations like countdown timers or numbers counting up that you could use and then also edit directly in CapCut. It's the fact that you can take something that you've made in Claude and then use it in CapCut and further edit it feels surreal. So, what [1:12] do I mean by edit? Let's say you had Claude create you a countdown timer. Well, when you upload it to your CapCut project, you can edit that countdown timer to make sure the size, font, and colors match your branding. To do this, all you have to do is prompt Claude to create an SRT file for you with a prompt [1:32] just like this. Download the file, open CapCut, and just drag and drop the SRT file directly onto your project timeline. Now, they're fully customizable directly in CapCut. To edit them, you would just highlight all of them, change the font, font size, and color to match your branding. Then you can make them a compound clip, basically grouping all the subtitles together so that you could edit the speed of the countdown. Clearly, if you're somebody who's watching this video, you love using Claude to help increase your efficiency as a creator, whether that's helping you edit videos or come up with content ideas. We all know that there are so many cool things [2:08] that you could do with Claude, so I just wanted to share a free resource to help you level up your Claude skills, and that's where today's sponsor, HubSpot, comes in. HubSpot put together a completely free resource called "How to Use Claude Like a Marketing Power User" with over 60 Claude hacks and 10 new Claude skills prompts. This prompt pack gives you ready-to-use instructions to turn Claude into a reliable marketing assistant for writing, analysis, planning, and execution. Before telling [2:37] you about it, I downloaded this myself. I took a look. I got a sneak peek. And I honestly think that there are so many really cool hacks directly inside that would be super valuable for anybody watching this video. For example, there's a hook creator that helps you come up with different hooks for your content. If you've watched any how to grow on social media videos, you've probably already heard about the importance of having a strong hook within your videos. There's also a script generator to help you write complete scripts for the hooks or your ideas, and there's even a prompt inside to help you plan out an entire month's [3:12] worth of content, which if you're somebody like me, you like to plan your content ahead of time so that you don't feel stressed out waking up every morning wondering what the heck to post. And if you've ever sat down to plan your content for a whole month and had absolutely no idea where to start, you know how helpful a prompt like that could be. And that's why I love finding new ways to use Claude. There's always so much more that you could do beyond editing, and this free resource from HubSpot gives you 60 prompts to help you use Claude in ways you might not have thought of yet. So, you can download it [3:43] for free using the link in the description below. And again, a huge thank you to our friends at HubSpot for sponsoring this video. Moving on to hack number two, this is creating a reusable LUT. Okay, this one is probably the one that I was most excited to tell you about. So, for those of you who don't know, a LUT is basically a color grading preset that you could use for your videos. Like when you're in CapCut, you have filters like clear two or orange blue. Or maybe you've come across a filter that you like, but it's a pro feature and you don't pay for CapCut [4:18] Pro, so you wouldn't have access to it. Imagine, you can make your own filter that you could use on all of your videos to feel even more cohesive and on brand. That's what I'm talking about. That's what this hack is. When you have Claude create a LUT for you, you can add it as a preset in CapCut and again further edit it within CapCut directly. While you're creating it inside of Claude, you can really refine and fine-tune it. Like if it's too warm or too light or too [4:44] dark, you could just keep tweaking it. And then when you upload it as a preset in CapCut, you can really customize per video like the brightness, the contrast, everything like that. So, here's how to do it. First things first, you have to prompt Claude asking Claude to create a LUT for you, something like this. Try to be as specific as possible with [5:04] the type of vibe that you're going for. You could even upload images showing examples of like the coloring style that you want the LUT to recreate. When you're done, you're going to download the file. The file should be a cube file. Then when you open your CapCut app, you're going to navigate to adjustments, select LUT, and then import your LUT. Your LUT is now fully editable directly in CapCut. So, you can strengthen up or down the strength of the preset. And if you're using it directly in a video and there's just a reoccurring issue or thing that you're not loving with the coloring, you could just jump [5:38] back to Claude, ask Claude to tweak it, and then upload your new LUT. If you've learned one new thing in this video so far, give this video a thumbs up since that tells YouTube that other creators like yourself would find it helpful. And if you learned two new things by the end of this video, consider subscribing to my channel since it's a simple way to support myself and allows my team and I to continue to create free content like this for you every single week. Hack number three is creating motion graphics. Okay, so these next three hacks, you will need like a third-party or secondary tool along with Claude. So, [6:10] the first two hacks, you were just prompting Claude from the jump, no need to do anything else. These next ones, you might have to download another software or connect it with another party. With motion graphics, if you want Claude to be able to create high-quality motion graphics for you, then you're going to download another tool called Remotion. Remotion is the tool that gives Claude the information that it needs to make graphics. You'll also need to get node.js, which is the tool that allows your computer to use JavaScript. When you have all of these tools working together with Remotion, you can create moving backgrounds, animations, and motion [6:47] graphics. So, when you see people doing things like this in their videos, that's something that you could create directly in Remotion and Claude. Then, when you're happy with the animation, you just download it, upload it to CapCut, and again, everything's customizable in CapCut. So, this one is obviously a little bit more complex with all the moving parts and different pieces of software. So, if you wanted to learn how to create your own motion graphics following like a more thorough step-by-step tutorial, I'm going to leave a link to a YouTube video that you could watch to see how to set this up for yourself. When you have all three of [7:19] those tools set up, you would prompt Claude with something like this. Hack number four is having Claude and CapCut finish your first rough cut of a video. While there are a lot of tools nowadays that can auto-cut your videos for like that first rough cut, it's still pretty cool that you can do this with Claude and CapCut, especially if you're already using both of these tools. I'm a huge fan of any opportunity to streamline my workflow using fewer tools. So, if you're already using Claude and CapCut, why pay for a separate tool that could do something that they already have the capabilities of doing. So, when you have Claude and [7:58] CapCut connected, you can have Claude create a project in CapCut and do your first entire rough cut for you. What I mean by rough cut is if you're somebody who is filming yap content or you're talking to the camera, you could have a tool cut out all of your silences, all your awkward pauses, all your uhs and ums or filler words, or even cut out bad takes and just keep the good takes. So, Claude does a pass at it, saves the project in CapCut, and then you go into that project in CapCut, make any final changes or further edit like adding close captions, overlays, and proceed to [8:34] export your video. This saves you so much time and allows you to also save your creative energy on kind of more fun aspects of editing like close captions, pop-ups, zooming in and out, sound effects, and all those things that make your personality come to life with editing. So, setting up Claude in CapCut is a whole thing in and of itself, and I was going to have like that be part of this video tutorial for setting up Claude in CapCut, and it ended up being like 20-30 minutes of like just how to set that up, and I'm like, "Okay, we got to separate these two." So, this video [9:11] is just talking about the hack capabilities of what you can do when they're connected. If you want to see like a full step-by-step tutorial of how to connect Claude in CapCut, just let me know in the comments below and I can do that in a future video. So, after those things are set up, basically all you would do is drop your raw footage, your recording, into a Claude chat and basically prompt it and ask it to do that first cut for you stripping out the awkward pauses, long pauses, bad takes, or filler words. You'll also instruct Claude to output a compatible project file or assemble the initial timeline [9:50] cuts automatically. Then, open CapCut to fine-tune the automated cuts, add manual tweaks, bring your video to life, boom shakalaka, you're done. Hack number five is adding captions and text overlays. So, on top of being able to get your first cut done in Claude, you can also have Claude add close captions, the text hook, or other text overlays. Again, there are other tools that you can use to do this, I know, but again, being able to do this within Claude and have Claude do this for you if it's already auto cutting your video, is still really cool. To do this, what you're going to do is go to 11labs.io [10:27] to generate a transcript of your video. Open Claude, paste in the transcript, and ask it to generate a SRT file. Then, open CapCut, drag the SRT file directly into your video, select the caption track on your timeline to change the font color and size. Turn on apply to all as you're making these changes so that your style stays consistent across the entire video. I always want to say this disclaimer when using AI tools and when suggesting AI tools, these are meant to help streamline your workflow, not replace your creativity. I always want to share ways and tips, tricks, hacks that you can utilize AI to help [11:08] you do things easier or faster. These are never meant to be a replacement for you, your unique brand voice, your unique creativity. Editing with Claude and CapCut isn't perfect yet, but it's off to a really cool start, and with how much we've already seen these tools improve over the last year, it's not going to be long before they get even easier to use and become even more powerful. So, even if you're just taking a few steps to get comfortable with how to use it today, by this time next year, when they've added more capabilities, you'll just be even more of a natural at Claude and CapCut. Okay, as a summary, [11:46] here are the prompts we went over today to help you with some of the things in this video. This is a list of the programs that I've mentioned in the video, and if you want more prompts to help you grow your creator business using AI, I have over 20 prompts that you can copy paste and use completely for free down below.
