# If you're ready but scared to build your personal brand, start here Channel: Jun Yuh Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtDDkr0qI04 Duration: 26 min Language: English Words: 4192 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/VtDDkr0qI04 --- [0:00] My name is Sean and over the past 14 months I made $10 million with this guy Jun Yu, one of the biggest creators on Instagram. Together we've taught over 500,000 people build personal brands and monetize in the internet era. But there's a massive problem. We are attempting to host this event in front of 1300 people in a completely different country where me or June currently don't [0:21] even live in. 4,000 m away into our biggest crowd ever. And look, the truth is there is 18 hours to go and we have so much to do. If they don't have it in the next 45 minutes, then they're not putting it up. We need another walkie-talkie. They There's no [music] timer. They need to [0:39] get you a timer. How you feeling? We already have another issue. This is meant to be 2 m high in the main thing on the stage. This is about to be the best thing we've ever done. Followers don't matter anymore. Now, my only worry is if people don't turn up. You guys ready? How y'all feeling? I woke up energized like a bunny. I know we haven't slept in a while, but this is what we've been waiting for. It's like the big moment in this very long Europe trip. So, we're thrilled and I know it's [1:07] going to be a good time. Made it. Although it's hot. Hello. All right. Off stage. Take them off stage. I can't do that at all. No. This is very [1:36] So, I filmed a loom. I sent it. The last minute deck edits that have to happen. It's been 3 hours. I realized the loom is not playing. Just done it again. It's still not playing. I'm walking around hotspotting. It's uh that's what you got to do. And then rule number one in business, always carry your laptop [1:52] wherever you go. [2:00] All right, guys. So, you know, some of us some of us actually have to do the work. So, as you can see, I'm sitting here working away. No time for food, no time for anything while the guys are out there eating, enjoying themselves. You know, some of us, we got to do it. We got to do the work. The thing is, Sean needs these moments to to put one on me like this. I don't I I'm I'm secure in my feminine side and my masculine sides. I love the food. Call it soft. I'd eat it. I feel good about it. We'll see tomorrow. If he messes up [2:30] tomorrow, let's see who the real soft life person is. So, cuz if he's famished and he starts complaining that he doesn't have energy, he's actually going to be the soft one. Pretty cool, though. So, we're here in Old Street. This is where my first office was. when we first launched the business. This is where we were coming [2:44] back and how far I've come. It's crazy. So, the same kid that was like hoping and dreaming I would leave my work. Starbucks was just down there. I'll go and sit in the Starbucks with my iPad. I was like, I'm going to build my business at lunchtime. Then I got serious, quit my job, and I thought I'm going to do this properly. But yeah, in a very [2:59] nostalgic area right now. I heard you call me soft. You got water? I think that's only a soft thing to do. Stay hydrated. Are you Korean? I am Korean. [laughter] Oh, I knew it. I was a little nervous though cuz I was like, "What? What is the It's sug [3:34] Where are you from? From Turkey. From Turkey. Say hello to our Turkey friends. Hello. We're not farther, which is good. [music] [3:54] Holy crap. I can jump out if I feel nervous or if I feel excited or a mix of both. But this is ridiculous. Just to give you a bit of context, this location right here in front alone is 500 people. Creative Live New York City, the one that I had panic attacks before getting onto stage for, all of that stuff for 300 people. We have 500 people here alone. And then if you want to pan all the way up there [4:20] now, how do you feel seeing it? It's like it's actually really cool. I always I just love real stage. When we did the New York one this high and I was complaining to the venue, they're like, "You're not allowed to have higher stage." And I was like, "What's this?" And I was super annoyed. So this is great cuz real stage. [music] Yeah. Let's go, [4:46] June. Hi. You're actually so far away, you can barely see your face. I came here in 201 18. I was sitting right there. I came to came to watch Gary Vee and he was like, "Smartphone is the biggest thing that's going to happen in the world. You should go all in on it." in 2018, [5:05] maybe even 17. It could be the years. So nine, eight, nine years ago. How does it feel that you're doing your own adventure now after watching Gary Vee? Did you pay for Gary Ve's event? I did. I did. I paid $1,000. Meant to be. It was like meant to be. That's what it feels like when you were sitting. Did you big Did you know you were going to do an [5:24] event here one day? Never. That's weird. You know, I never think I can't do something. That's a lie. I don't think I'll do an event here, but like would I be successful? Would would I have the capability to do big Yes. That's exactly why I get to do it. How do you manage to stay so happy all [5:39] the time? How you feeling? Died inside. Question. [5:52] Do the hard work. Okay. A few things here. Now that it's just us two. I've gotten a few important reminders that I've been told in my years probably 10 times. The one thing is that I cannot go off of this stage. The second thing is that after the event is over, I cannot go out by myself. The third thing was that in no way could I ever go without multiple security around [6:15] me. Let's see how many of that I actually stay true to. I love you. [6:26] Venue checked down. Are you Are you happy? Yeah. Yeah. It's pretty good. I love that it's such like professional stage and all of that. So that is what makes it even for me as a feeling cuz I've been to I went to like a recent one and like you know they have like a tiny little box stage in some room and it's like oo this is like [6:43] stage feel like artist. So Robbie Williams sold this place out and so have you literally now the stress is real. We had we had a lot of fun excitement the first hour or so. Now it's all really hitting. We got to make sure that the slides have to be finished and it's not the team's fault. It's definitely my fault because I haven't had a chance to go through that second deck entirely. And so what we're going to do is actually get the entire team to go back to the GenFlow office so that we [clears throat] can just sit down and finish that deck. If they don't have it in the next 45 [7:10] minutes, then they're not putting it up and we cannot do this tomorrow if we don't have a deck. So the stress and pressure is on. The truth is like without the stress before the the success is not fun. If it was it was just like all done easy, it won't feel the same. I've done enough stuff and enough launches, enough crazy stuff [7:30] that it does get it does get hard. That's the way it is. That's where I'm going. It's going to feel good when you smash it tomorrow. [7:48] It is officially the massive day. So, we are going to be I got three waters in hand cuz I'm going to need all three of them heading there. Um because I'm going to be talking all day. It's going to be a 9-hour event. We've barely slept across the last 10 days. But this is it. This is what everything has led up to and the full team's already there prepped. I've been rehearsing all morning. Uh and and we're about to [8:08] welcome about 1,300 people in one venue. The biggest I've ever done is 300 people. So, this is going to be significantly more. But at the same time, I feel like this is where my calling is. It's to serve. And as long as I can keep that heart of service, I think everything's going to be just fine. So, I'm looking forward to it. And everyone that's watching this that I'm going to be seeing very soon. Thank you guys so much for coming. You guys are about to have the best time. I open up my Instagram DMs and these are all people that have just mentioned us in [8:33] their story cuz they're going to be coming that they're going to be Look at this. If I open up one of them, if I let's say open up this one, we have someone that said 4 hours sleep that they're ready to go. Then if I open up this one, there's already people at They're already there. Some of them are [8:49] already there. What's up? I'm Justin. How you doing? Where you from? I'm from London, UK. Um, based in North London and took me about an hour to get down here. Not terrible at this kind of time in the morning, but I'm excited. I'm excited. The people are starting to trickle in. The line's starting to get a [9:08] bit long. Hi, I'm Zara. Uh I'm here today to learn more about content creation and storytelling. Uh I don't really come out of the industry. I spent my entire life in tech. So all of this world is new to me. So hoping to learn a lot. My name is one like one ear flip it around and I'm the founder of Moments Mate. And in 5 years time I wish that I'll be here helping thousands of people every single day to keep their cherished [9:30] moments close to their heart. Hi, I'm Jody. I'm from Wales and I'm a nutrition coach and in 5 years I would just love to have a really successful business helping ladies lose weight without giving up their favorite foods. Hi, I'm Antonia. I'm from South Yorkshire in the UK. Um, I'm here because I was so inspired by Junu. I've done a couple of his master classes and [9:52] I just had to get together. Did you get your slides sorted? It's doing it now. Okay, let's start from the beginning. When people quue, they are going to queue either side. It's like a field trip. Are these your letters arriving? It's the stage stuff. Yeah, we have the stage. Didn't sleep much. It's just weird. I just need people to turn up because now my only worry is if people don't turn up, they're going to turn up. I think the rest is like we'll do it even on stage like once you like once I start teaching June is just need people once it's a full house like let's do [10:34] this seen it is it small no it's like a pop no it isn't delivery wrong person that one size you like this big [laughter] sure that's like the table not the stage So, this is meant to be 2 m high and the main thing on the stage. But yeah, maybe we're sticking it to the [11:04] top there. Okay. So, it goes round. Yeah. [11:16] Showtime, baby. This is what we're built for. Oh my. Are you kidding me? I get it. I get I get one of these things. [laughter] The team just put together a little letter for me in my dressing room. I'm going to read it to you. Dear June, happy Creator Live Day. You're in our home city and we couldn't be more proud of breaking records here in London with [11:37] you. Thank you for being our leader. Love your entire creative college team. [music] [11:51] This is the chaos before the storm. It's the fun bit and everything that the how you feel. [laughter] What was I saying? You literally cannot even see at the back. Yeah, at the top I can't see anything at all. I just think if nothing is uh how would it look in the background? How do you feel knowing there's a a line [12:12] around? Is there a line? I haven't seen it. All the way down. Oh, nice. Oh No. Good. Good. Uh, it's crazy. We're ready. We're ready. How long is it till we start? We actually have an hour and 15 minutes till June's on stage. Still, we're going to let people in in 45 minutes to sit down. But, uh, for now, everyone is [12:30] behind this basically. [12:36] Holy cow. What's going on? Hi, EVERYONE. [cheering] [12:48] There's so much more to come, but from the very bottom of my heart, [cheering] this is [laughter] I I NEED MORE. I NEED MORE OF YOU GUYS IN my life. There's only so MUCH YOU HAVE TO TALK. ACTUALLY, my deliveries here. I'm going to eat. Uh, my blood sugar will drop, I think. Cuz if he's famished and he starts complaining that he doesn't have energy, [13:13] he's actually going to be the soft one. 93. What did you order? Great. I have to eat cuz it's nice. I'll leave you to eat in peace. June, how do you feel knowing that there's already a line around the whole block? Unbelievable. And I was just saying it a little bit earlier, but who am I that [13:34] [music] they're coming in for this? This is what helps me a lot is knowing that [music] we're serving them. And so the more attention I take off of myself and make sure that they're having a good time, I feel like I'll be more confident. All right, we're about to open up. There's too many people. It's getting too crowded. So, it's time to let people [13:54] in. So, we already have another issue. The clicker does not have a laser. I'm so excited. Come on, let's go. Oh, [music] London, can you give yourselves a round of applause? [cheering and music] Yeah. [screaming] YEAH. [14:31] [music] [14:38] [music] to say a very big thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has always been a dream come true for me and you guys are giving me thanks and beautiful. Thank you guys so much. Three, two, one. There are three content pillars or what you could call content categories. is based on all of my research and my own personal experience posting every single day for the last six and a half years working with thousands of students all across the world. One skills, two passions, three story, aka what you know, what you love and who you are. If your content can speak to those three [15:23] specific angles, I promise you, you will build an undeniable personal brand. I just wanted to say thank you so much because uh after oh my god after my friend passed away during [cheering and applause] I living my second life and I found your content like two years after she passed and I didn't really think that I would ever create content and I just wanted to thank you for all that you do and how you pour into us. I started to really like own my voice and I don't know what it quite looks like right now, but I Oh my god, I'm like blinking out. Uh, [16:07] can I come give you a hug? Yeah. Do you want to come join me on stage? Is that all right? You want to come join me? Let's do some round of applause. [applause] I wanted to bring you up as an example. One is you've inspired me and thank you so much for this. I'm assuming you probably don't want me to read it out [16:23] loud in front of everyone. You can read it out loud. You want me to read it out loud? You don't I don't want you to. Okay. [laughter] Do you guys want me to read it out loud? Let's just look. Oh my gosh. This is a [16:43] It's a photo of my late grandma. [16:51] says, "There's no footprint so small that does not leave an imprint on this world. Dear June, I really wanted to write this letter because I'm so thankful that God placed you in my life. When I first stumbled upon your content, I was at a crossroads. I lost a dear friend two years prior, which changed my life completely. I was trying to live a life with purpose, but I felt lost how to do it [17:20] until I found you. You popped out on my for you page and your story, your mentorship, and your challenges became the catalyst I've been praying for. The 60-day summer discipline mentorship helped me keep promises to myself, something I'd never quite mastered. Even when I doubted my ability to follow through, I held on because I believed in your voice even [17:41] before I believed in mine. And then as I walked this path, your emphasis on loving the process, not just the outcome, transformed me. I began to cherish each step. Your cohort became a turning point and I finally found my voice. Now I'm using that voice to help others live fully as I've learned to do. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for always giving your all even though [18:12] your own hard times. I'm so grateful that you were placed in my path. Thank you for changing my life, [music] helping me find my voice with endless gratitude. Veronica, [cheering] [applause] thank you. [applause] [18:39] Oh man, you're making this really hard, aren't you? I'm supposed to lead a few more hours of this. Well, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. And you know, there's something that connects you and I in this moment. And I think it's the reason why all of us are here. I think often times we get lost in the metrics, the vanity ones, right? The [19:00] views, the followers, the likes. But it's this. It's this. It's the humanity that's inside. And if I actually looked in this card, right in the middle of it, it reads the words, "You are the niche." Thank you guys so much. Did I finish on time? Yeah. Okay, cool. All right, cool. Nice. They There's no timer. They need to get you a [19:26] timer. There's no timer. There's no timer. So, I was doing that off the cuff on my head. There's nothing there. That was perfect. I know. So, I started to look and I like when she gave me the thing, I looked on the thing. Um, I'm going to prep for this. All right. What's up? So, I'm up next doing a panel just prepping. So, people are here. It's going well. Now, my mind's on that I need to do cuz I'm so worried about everything else that it's like, oh what about what I need to do? So, I'm like, all right, [19:51] take 5 minutes, get in the zone. Followers don't matter anymore. We are looking at consistency, content, quality, ambition. You know, we want to work with ambitious people. Okay. Um, subject trust with your community. We can see who's going to go, right? So, we're looking at all these things, but I want everyone to understand followers don't matter anymore. They don't take that pressure away from yourself. Just [20:15] create the content. All right. What's up? Just prepping. Slides are here. Youonic was here too somewhere. Here it is. Getting ready. Getting ready. Excited, man. That's why you work so hard. You should get some fun sometimes. Please help me welcome back to the standalone. [screaming] [cheering] [music] [20:44] You spend 5 hours a day on your phone every single day. You check your phone 186 times a day. These are real stats. If you're like, "No, I don't do that." You do. 73% of people on social media follow people, not brands. Does that make it so clear the opportunity that we have today? That's today. And for a lot of you, I think it's too late. Only 3% of people [21:16] actually create content on social media. So out of the 5 billion users, only 200 million people post content. Only 3%. which means there's only 39 of you here today which are actually going to post content on average which is insane. So for a business owner today it means you're going to have to make content and learn how to pull people towards you as [21:43] one of the main ways to get attention. Are there other ways to get attention? Sure. If you have a lot of money we can pay for ads. Maybe you can build an amazing referral scheme. Maybe some PR doesn't really work that much. But the point is there are other methods but the best method is going to be all about getting attention yourself. Why? Because [22:03] that's what funnels into your business. So if you have no clients today or less clients, it's because of this main thing which is you are the person. All right. What's up sir? Just finished. It was pretty cool. It was good. If you ever feel misaligned in this journey of content, take the risk. Stay true to who you are, your soul, and so much success will come from it. I was consistent for two years straight, no days off, and I was posting twice on TikTok at the time. It's different obviously now. And I was consistently thinking value all the time. And in those two years, it was incredibly [22:41] challenging. It was sacrifice. I lost a lot of friends. I didn't really have free time to myself. I would say the biggest thing is never copy. You have to find your own inspiration to creating content. And I think even when it came to my work, when I truly loved it, I created it. People would take my formula and create it in their own way. And it's always great to be the blueprint. And it's good to take inspiration, but never copy. Because when you consistently copy what other people are doing, you're not ever going to be in tune with who you are. And using this natural creative [23:17] inspiration that you can go and create content, and where does that come from? not overly consuming content. One of the questions every c creator eventually asks is what makes people actually care. We've been talking so much about attention, but I had this I had a communication coach one time say, "Moto, you got to make people care. Make people care." And so the same thing [23:38] applies for content and social media. It's not just about watch and and reach and and views. It's not just about likes. is not about follows, but it's what actually creates genuine connection. Because if you think about the creators who have had the biggest impact on you, your favorite creators to follow, your people, your favorite people to watch, chances are it wasn't just because they had perfect camera editing. It wasn't because they had a perfect strategy and lighting or even a perfect piece of content. It was because they shared something that felt human that you connected with, something that was honest, something that made you feel [24:17] seen and known in your current reality. That is what we call the power of storytelling. [applause] June's up now to finish this whole night off. Smash it. When your hands face up high in the air, have made a piece of contact that didn't perform well. the way that you would have wanted it to and determined that it's okay and we can do it together and I want to take them on that journey with me and ultimately I'm certainly doing it for my children and give them a better education like the lovely lady over there my parents are immigrants to this country as well and I want to make them proud also and [24:58] that gives me my purpose and I believe that is my purpose. [cheering] [applause] [25:09] 1 2 3. [cheering] What a day. What a day. I think whenever we have moments like this, there's a great deep sense of appreciation, not just for the work that we're doing, but for the people that are behind it, our incredible team that have made this happen. And with that being said, we're out. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
