# Grok Bot怎么用? You don't open one chat box after another. For the same kind of request, you go back to the same bot. Codex, after a while, is a pile of chat boxes. Finding an old task really takes forever. [0:22] Grok Bot is just these bots, clean and tidy. There's a kind of order to it. And because they're bots, not dead chat boxes, they can work together. The potential is huge. In this video I'll walk through some basic ways to use Grok Bot. I posted this over the last few days inside the newtype community. [0:44] Some people are already using it. If you want people to discuss and learn with, come join us. Whenever there's a more advanced productivity tool, this community picks it up immediately. For example, this member uses Grok Bot to check school letters and his kid's homework. A fixed SOP like that is a very good fit for Grok Bot. [1:03] Once you start using Grok Bot, the first surprise is that bots can message each other. For example, I told one bot: go tell the other bots to reply in plain language, and not to put spaces before or after English or numbers. Use Chinese punctuation. That bot then messages the others, passes the instruction on, and has them follow it. [1:27] That's the biggest difference between a bot and a chat: they're alive. They don't just do the work themselves. They coordinate. The bots are even polite. They say thank you to each other. I did not expect that at all. So I created a bot called CHIEF. Most of the time I just talk to it. [1:47] It decides who should carry out the work. Only when the request is very specific, like investing, do I go to that bot myself. With CHIEF, I feel more and more like the person in charge. When a problem or a task shows up, I throw it to CHIEF. It assigns the work, other bots do it, and the result comes back. [2:06] If the flow gets stuck, I look at which bot or which step broke, and whether I need a new bot. It feels like a company: when something goes wrong, you ask whether the org chart is wrong, or whether you need to hire. The same logic applies. Once you see that, a new door opens. [2:29] Since bots can message each other, you can use two classic ways of working together. First, in series: like an assembly line. One bot finishes a step and hands it to the next. Second, in parallel: split the work up front, and give the pieces to different bots at the same time. Both are run by one lead bot. It splits and assigns, and it also collects and delivers. On top of those, you can design more complicated flows, with branches, [3:07] and let the bot decide which path to take. I'll introduce the triage bot later. It doesn't execute anything. Its only job is to judge which bots a request should go to, and in what order. I've used it for a few days. It feels pretty good. I'll go into it next episode, or the one after. [3:28] Someone will ask: why not just make a group chat? Why make it so complicated? A one-to-one message and a group chat are not the same thing, because people don't see the same context. Think about a company. When do you start a group, or get everyone into one meeting? When you need to align. Everyone has to know the whole project, all the progress, including what others did and where things stand. [3:56] It's the same for bots. You can't do that for every project. The volume of information wears everyone out. People sit in the meeting quietly annoyed. For bots, once you pull them into a group, the context gets heavy too. Someone on X replied to me: if bots keep reading each other's context, it burns through quota. Be careful. [4:19] So the rule is: don't start a group unless you have to. Most of the time, one lead and a group of helpers, working in series or in parallel, is enough. These last two videos: the previous one was an overview of Grok Bot, and this one is how to actually use it. Once that clicks, you know how to put this product into your personal sovereign AI system. [4:43] Messaging and group chats, series and parallel: together, the potential is really large. I also said in the community: if the whole collaboration network can be shared later, that would be something. When I find more, I'll keep sharing it there. OK, that's it for this episode. If you want to understand AI and take back individual sovereignty, and find people who want the same thing, [5:05] come join the newtype community.
