# Give OpenClaw this 1 skill Channel: The Next New Thing Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7ft9o-zbps Duration: 13 min Language: English Words: 2181 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/O7ft9o-zbps --- [0:00] Andrew, Openclaw got me 2 million views on TikTok. It's not just views, look at all these sales that convert into real traffic to my apps. Let's do a screen share. I'm going to teach everyone how to do this, too. Presented by Zapier, the AI automation company. Okay. What are we looking at here? Larry is my Openclaw agent. He's sat right behind me there, and I just built him to start with the hype with this one goal to automate my marketing because I hate it. So, then this is what the [0:29] output is. Let's see. I was doing content myself, and you can see it was getting no views. It was flopping. And then I used a third-party posting automation that I I won't name cuz the people that make it are actually quite cool. But, it just wasn't working for me. Then, I used Larry to create this first one, and all he did was use the hooks from the existing photos I had. And as soon as I saw it got 6,000 views, I knew that we were onto a winner, and I just needed him to recreate this using images himself. So, this is where it all really started [1:06] happening, and you can see the trial and error that we went through of Larry generating his own images. These are clearly AI photos. That's why they didn't succeed. And then we tried putting face face reactions in because they're quite popular. But, still we've gone from 400 views to 2,000, 1,500 to 2,000. So, I was already happy with how this was working, and I just knew it needed a a few more tweaks. So, then we changed the font. And what Larry is doing at this point where he's changing from the facial reactions to the photos to the facial reactions what he was actually doing was the beginning of the Larry marketing [1:52] skill. He was looking at these posts, looking at the analytics, and finding out for himself what performs. So, you can see that he was getting 1,000 views, 1,600, 1,800. Then he changes to this and gets 1,005, 1,001, 1,002. So, then he was sort of deciding that it wasn't wasn't working. Goes back to the the home AI and this it shows so much better at the top. But, then you can see it sort of becomes [2:24] Larry. Yeah. And the first one that took off. So, we've gone from I showed AI all these hooks that weren't working to something slap-bang in the middle. My landlord said I can't change anything, so I showed her what AI thinks it could look like. And this was not an accident. We told Larry to go do some research to find out what winning hook is and I with the goal of making it relatable. And instantly it got hundreds of thousands views and I knew I was onto [2:56] a winner. So, then it goes through and it tells like the story the room before. I used an app to show her options, warm minimalism, modern glam, and then she approved the paint. The app is snuggly in the bio. And from this point is when another problem arose because this TikTok got hundreds of thousands views, but it didn't result in almost any downloads to [3:22] my app. Your app is snuggly. It's an app for the iPhone that will let me take a picture of my room and imagine what it could look like if it was better designed. It doesn't just redesign a room for you. It tells you where to get everything in the design it creates. Okay, so you were getting views. People were seeing the snuggly branding in [3:40] there. What was the problem? The call to action in this is actually pretty weak. And if you don't know the call to action is the text on your last slide. And she approved the paint. App is snugly link in bio. So, it didn't actually work. When this was posted, the link wasn't actually in the bio. It was just a a text, like the text in the bio. So, instead of telling people to just go to the App Store and download it, it was sending them to the wrong place and it became a a hassle for users to go and download the app. So, this was a major [4:14] problem that we figured out quite quickly. Okay. And so, you said to Larry, go and figure this out. Larry went and did what to figure it out? All Larry did was go through Twitter, went through the accounts I follow that talk about slideshows, and got as much information as he could and just fed that and hoarded it in for himself. But then, in the next line, you can see the next one only got 3,000. So, I thought, oh, maybe it was a fluke. So, this was the previous top performer. So, he's copied this hook of the difference between $500 and $5,000 taste, thinking, now we've got the attention, we can go [4:55] back to our previous top performer and it will outperform it. And obviously, it didn't. No. So, he then realized, okay, let's try I showed my ex. I showed my mom what AI thinks our living room could be. Again, blows up, 1,000 likes, 100,000 views, and then we sort of knew 170,000 views. We sort [5:22] of knew we were on for a winner. However, that's not how iteration works. You can't just get two two winners and decide Larry continued. I can't afford an interior designer. No relatable person, no views. Why does my flat look like a student loan? Didn't even make sense. So, it got no views. Okay. But then, My boyfriend wouldn't pay for our [5:48] bedroom. Okay. all of a sudden, back up to over 10,000 views. So now, it's starting to click that we just need to get the right relatable person. And then here, the next slide, we go back to landlord, the first winner. And he says, "My landlord wouldn't let me decorate until I showed her these." And then we go through, "She said it would would damage the walls." So then when you build the suspense of what's next, this gets the person to the third slide, which is key for TikTok. It's not all about comments and likes when you want to build views on TikTok. It is about, especially for slideshows, watch time [6:31] and how many slides they view. So we've started putting a nothing slide second, so then they have to go to the third, and then out of six, that's already 50% watch time, which shows you on the TikTok algorithm. So the same for a video, you want to try and get people watching at least half of your video, and that will boost you up the algorithm. Same thing for slideshows. So she said it would damage the walls, and then we start showing what it is. Then we start it she couldn't believe it was the same [7:01] room. Okay, now she actually wants it. The Snugly app helped me convince her. So now you can see how he's learned from the CTA, it's no longer link in bio, it's thank god for the Snugly app. It's finally helped me convince her. And then people believe that is what's going to help them as [7:19] well. So then they go into the app store to get it. And So exactly. How do you know that it's actually leading into downloads? Let me present my Larry chat. So I've pre-typed the message. We've got, "Can you send the RevenueCat analytics to show the conversion and new users from those TikToks in the last 7 days?" And what Larry can do is get all my new users that have downloaded the app in the last 7 days and how many people have purchased. It is not just a content automation tool. It is learning from the content that he posts to what [7:56] gets views. Then from what gets views to what actually gets downloads and then how many of those downloads are actually paying. So we can see the total new users in the app and the amount of people that convert into paying users from the app. Come back and show me the one transition that happened. So we tried some. My flatmate moved out and left me with the ugliest room. That [8:19] didn't work. Then we tried another. I lived here for 4 years and my landlord, again key key note here that landlord was not the first in the first sentence. So I didn't This doesn't have that much of a hook as the typical landlord one. And then we've tried something else. My husband This got 60,000 views. Trying to convince my husband to pay to decorate the living room. This got [8:46] 60,000 views. Okay. Then we go back to the landlord and this is our highest performer, 400,000 views. And the key to this one actually is the hook but also it managed to hook the boomers into the chat who couldn't wait to comment about the mistakes in the AI photo. I actually sent Larry a message, don't let this happen again, but I'm going to post it anyway cuz I knew that in some of them [9:15] the cooker's gone. So the cooker and oven disappear. There's nowhere to cook your food. Yeah. the boiler's switching. And all of a sudden we realized these are what the comments were saying. So it start boosting us up the algorithm. How are the photos being made? So we can break into how Larry's doing this and it's all available in the the Larry skill. I'm probably going to move it to the new Nano Banana that Google [9:43] have just released. Um I told you before we got started that people are going to say, "Ah, that's just you. It works for you and nobody else." And you said, "No, it So, we've got Ernesto Lopez who published an article about how their OpenClaw agent Eddie helps us make 70,000 a month with BTC apps. And then we can see, using the Larry skill by Oliver Henry, we have [10:05] Yeah. We started with one basic page, same hook, same framework, new words, and it started posting using the Larry hook, and then they've trained it on different styles, and now they're generating millions of views using the Larry skill, actually more than I get, which is makes me a bit jealous. But, you can see how well it's working because it's the same format, and it's just changing the hooks, changing the image, and it just has the base to work off. So, if you want to copy this, get the Larry skill, available on Larry Brain. So, this is on ClawHub. You can then download this the Larry skill is [10:43] more about iterating the content rather than the creation of the content. And what is so important to learn um about OpenClaw is the skills are not black boxes. You do not have to use what comes out the box. And this is one of the only manual steps that you have to do is the TikTok account warm-up. This is critical that you warm up your TikTok account for 30 minutes every day not using TikTok like a bot. Use it like a human that is interested in whatever niche you're building in. So, for me, I would use it as a human in interested in interior design. So, I [11:20] searched interior design, searched for the influencers, I scrolled a few videos, instantly skipped a few videos, watched half of some, watched all of some, liked a couple, commented on a couple. The final thing is I know that you used Post it to connect to TikTok Mhm. post, right? But you still are the man in the middle. Why is it that it doesn't [11:42] just post directly? If you post directly to TikTok as a live post through the API, one, with a slideshow, it doesn't choose music. So, it will post silently and it will just kill your reach. Okay. The second is that when it's posted through an API, TikTok knows it's posted through an API and just assumes it's probably spam. So, it gives it a lots smaller percentage of a chance to actually succeed. Whereas, if you post it as a draft, like I do with Post it, one, you can select your music and then you can select a trending sound, whatever's trending at the time, or something that just feels right for your [12:19] video. And then it also counts as being posted from the app. So, you post it from your phone, it knows it's come through your phone, and it gives it a lot more chance to be successful in the algorithm. All right. Right on. Congratulations. This has done really well. People are talking about it everywhere. Thanks for coming on here [12:39] and showing us. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
