# I Don't Edit My Videos Anymore — Claude does Channel: simply forseth Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3OusiuRrEo Duration: 11 min Language: English Words: 2565 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/O3OusiuRrEo --- [0:00] All right, what's up guys? In this video, I'm going to try and explain very shortly how I created this video entirely with AI. All of the b-roll shots that you see right now, all of the voice, the effect, everything, the entire edit, even the cuts, even the zoom in, everything has been done by Claude Code. And it's a very simple, but [0:18] not necessarily the easiest workflow. And the reason why I've done everything in DaVinci Resolve is because I like quality over quantity. And but with this workflow, you can have both. So, the whole goal and premise with this is to show you what you can do, how you can do it yourself, and I'm going to explain step by step how we do it. Now, just to kick straight just go straight into it. I'm going to explain what I have here on the left side of my screen right here, and then I'm going to explain what the right side. Obviously, that's just for me to go off of. The left side of my screen is [0:46] what I call a style library. Over the time of my editing [clears throat] and over the time of using Remotion. For those who don't know what Remotion is, I'm actually going to let Carl explain. Carl, could you please explain what Remotion lets you build videos with code instead of a timeline. Every caption and animation you're watching is just a small program. No After Effects, no dragging clips around, just code, which conveniently is the one thing I'm good [1:11] at. Uh so, hopefully as Carl has explained what Remotion does, it's literally just creating the animations using code. Pretty much like that. So, instead of using a editing software like After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or any other editing software that you might know of. For most of you, probably you don't even know how to edit nice videos. And you're like, "Oh, I don't want to pay an editor to do it either." So, what we do for you, or like what you you do for yourself, honestly, you set this up one time and then it's repeatable. And then you literally get high-quality edits, and the only thing you need to focus on is [1:45] recording the video, talking about and sharing your context, your videos, your feelings, I don't know. This style library library here has everything. What I've done here, as you can see, all of these videos have been done through Remotion. This is all done by AI, the animation themselves, everything. Now, you don't hear it, but it has also sound effects, as you probably have heard in the Instagram reel. And if you haven't seen the Instagram reel, and you came straight off of YouTube, go to my description below, and you'll click on the first link that has the Instagram link. Watch it, so you understand the entire video. Cuz it's a very clean, [2:14] simple video. It's my first Instagram reel, and I realized, you know, I need to showcase it later. First and foremost, what we do, we we record raw. And as you can see here in this video right here, this is the 7-minute and 30-second raw clip. It's literally me just doing multiple, multiple takes, trying different different angles of the camera, like with the camera, doing everything, random stuff. I do everything, you know? All of you that record content knows how this works. You try multiple takes, and then in the end, you find which take did the best. Now, what takes time here when you edit a video is [2:47] rough cutting, finding what what like step was the best, what I'd said, did I say this, or why did I fumble there. Let me jump in. Step one is the rough cut. It transcribes every word he records, finds the dead air and the weak takes, and keeps only the strongest version of each line. A clean first cut. In [3:08] minutes, not hours. This asset library is a massive library, where the AI model, Cloud Code, I'm using Opus 4.8 and sometimes Gemini 3.5 flash or 3.1 1.4 uh pro through API key. Uh what it does, it analyzes the visual and the video itself. And considering this is made in code, it knows exactly, and just looking at it, like it snaps a photo of all of them. We I have like a storyboard of all of them, so we can [3:33] look at like, okay, which one fits here. So, what it does, it cuts the video first, and makes the context perfect. So, it has like a red thread throughout the entire video, right? To do now is we change it so it says, "What should I post?" And then it literally just fills this in. Now, most people don't necessarily read this, yes, but, you know, it does everything for you. I I didn't any of that. It literally puts it in. It even figures out what and where to position it in the negative space. As you can see here, it's not here cuz it wouldn't make sense. It's not here cuz it's a little [4:03] bit too up above. So, it figured out, you know what, put it here cuz I put my hand here. That's what it said. I put my hand here, so it was like, you know what, we're going to put it here. And also, as you can see, it's not putting it all the way to the right side because we have specifically told it to don't put it to the way to the right side because, you know, Tik Tok and other platforms may crop the video. So, it's very genius. It's very, very smart workflow. Now, with that being said though, what's so nice here is the fact that it figures out what I'm talking [4:29] about and which asset to use without me even using a single calorie on thinking. And as you can see here, what I have done here is I've taken inspiration from this guy. This or not just inspiration. What I've done is I found a template that has been all of the animations has been done in After Effects. What I did, I rendered all of them, and then I recreated it exactly in DaVinci Resolve uh uh uh uh uh or in um in Remotion. So, we got that So, we got the effect in [4:56] code pretty much. That's what we did. So, I used this pack. I really like this animation, so I got it. And I strongly do uh recommend it. And you don't even need these packs. What I also do, based on all of the other things, like I my library just get curated and gets bigger. And just always save them. For example, this one. I found this on uh Pinterest or social media somewhere. And I just gave it to CloudPlay. I like, "Analyze this frame by frame. I want the exact same style, and I want it to be repeatable." So, you can use this in a [5:23] later edit it like edit now. The most important part here is that this step two, it's literally just analyzing visuals. It analyze what I say based on the context and puts assets on the video, right? Now, in Remotion, for most of you guys, you don't need DaVinci Resolve. You don't need After Effects. The only thing you need is a Cloud Code subscription or Chat GPT subscription or a Google Pro subscription or Gemini Pro subscription. That's all you need. When you have set that up, you need some IDE or like a harness. Harness is pretty [5:50] much Cloud Code. Cloud Code isn't hard. One quick note. A harness just means the AI can work directly on your computer, run code, edit files, move things around, not just a chat box. Cloud Code is the one I'd use. So, but I strongly recommend Cloud Code. It's the best out of the bunch, 100% [6:08] 10 out of 10 times. Use Cloud Code, okay? And when you have Cloud Code, the only thing that you do is you tell it you give him the raw clip. For example, I give him this clip right here. I give him this clip here and I'm telling like I give him the destination of this clip. It's not loading. And I'm like, "You know what? Using my you know my niche, you know my my style, I want you to edit this video. Remove the bad takes. Use a skill shot from cutaway right here. And then when you're done, let me know cuz I want to watch it [6:35] through." You don't have to do this. But I like to watch it through. Let's say you don't want it. Then I just say, "Hey, edit this video in my style." That's it. Then it cuts it. It also adds the B-rolls in my style. It even finds the sound effects folder that I have. So, I've curated a sound effects folder and I've downloaded a lot of different musics uh that I like and it analyzes the vibe of the music, figures out, "You know what? I'm going to [ __ ] with him." For example, in the video that I created in DaVinci Resolve, he literally put edit PRF like an old [7:02] classic. And he literally told me like, "I'm going to [ __ ] with him." What's so nice also, which I think is so cool, is that Carl, that I like to call my assistant, he literally analyzed that I had a dirty laundry in the last clip. So, he was like, "You know what? We cannot show off this dirty laundry if you really want people to like your content." So, what he did is like, "All right, I'm going to take over it from here." He's not mentioning the dirty laundry, obviously, but I mean, this is for the inside people. So, yeah, he figures out what to say. He uses [7:28] Eleven Labs and adds this. So, we get that personal vibe of Carl. Carl can get his own voice. It creates a you know, it creates a brand in this thing. The song starts on perfect. Everything is perfect. Now, even the sound effects, and everything is set on the DaVinci Resolve pipeline. The only thing is the only problem I like so the sound effects for the different assets I mean Cloud Code has the code, you know, like the AI has the code so it understands like the motion knows where [7:55] it pops and knows where it's bounced. For example, it knows exactly when to position what sound effects. So sound effects is the easiest part ever. But music it's a little bit more tricky because it doesn't have that much more knowledge. I'm I'm I'm trying to create an app or workflow that mixes music well. And I'm right around the corner but it's not a priority of mine right now cuz I have a lot of on my a lot of things that I need to do on my plate right now. But yeah, last but not least that I actually wanted to say [clears throat] most of you guys will do everything in [8:24] re-motion here. Literally, the only thing you will do is you'll open up Cloud Code and you'll say what's up. This is what I'm going to do. I want to edit this video in XY style in my style and then let me know when you're done. And when you're done it gives you a similar video to this video but it doesn't necessarily The only thing that it probably doesn't have is, you know, the audio design that I That's why I use DaVinci Resolve honestly. I like the nice audio design and a nice proper motion blur because this app cuz it can simulate motion blur but it's and then when it's done it [8:52] could it doesn't have to be perfect but you can be like, "All right, this was a good take. The only thing I would like you to replace is, you know, this asset. I want it to count down from 50 minutes instead of 30 minutes." And then you know what, "All right, I'll fix that." And then it renders it renders it over [9:06] again, deletes the old footage, done. You have the video in couple of minutes. The only thing you need to focus on is recording. How fantastic isn't that? So that's my total My recommendation is just look on Pinterest, find an animation that interests you and with the skill that I'm going to release is pretty much going to help you do this You can literally just take this and I have another skill that's literally I just do slash download on Cloud Code and then I give them the link and then it downloads the video and then I just give it to Cloud Code, "Hey, use a workflow and just recreate this." And [9:35] I'm like, "All right, nice. Now, make it repeatable and make it recreatable so we can add this to that style library. Done. Done deal. Finished. So, it's very simple. The workflow is quite honestly very nice. I mean, as you can see, it's quality video. If you just look at the Instagram video, and I mean, this has obviously it took me some time to set this skill and system up. It takes time to set up quality systems. Yes. If you want quality, you need to expect to [9:59] spend some time on it. But at least when you want to repeat it, that's my whole mission here. I've spent literally hundreds of dollars just trying to fix this and create this. But now it's created once, it can just be repeated. You know, that's the whole premise and the whole goal about this AI [10:13] system. That's all goal with AI systems in general. A lot of people now over produce certain systems. They literally focus too much on details and try Okay, now I have that. I can scale it and I work further on it. I can add reverb to the sound effect. I can do this, I can do that. And then you literally end up going into a loophole and rabbit hole where you focus on certain details that is honestly not important at all. At least not in the beginning stages. Stop optimizing your workflow before you actually have started getting something out. Send me some comments if you have questioning or [10:43] have questions about something and I will answer it as soon as possible. And if for some reason you don't want to set this up yourself and work this yourself, which is totally understandable, shoot me a DM, comment here, or send me an email. Or you could actually go to my link in the description, my landing page. Um and you can see easily there that you can contact me. And we'll see what I can help you with, okay? So, uh whether that be editing systems, every automations for you, anything AI related, I'm the I'm the guy. Let me [11:10] know. Thank you for watching and I'm glad you tuned in so I could help you. All right, see you. Bye-bye. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
