# Elon Musk posted 53 times on X today (10/23/26) Channel: Jacob & Isaac Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9cMTz7clzE Duration: 21 min Language: English Words: 4140 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/N9cMTz7clzE --- [0:00] Everyday on this channel, I cover everything Elon Musk said on X over the last 24 hours. I'm Nathan, host of the Fine Print channel. Check me out below, and here's everything he said. As always, I'll cover one category completely before moving on to the next one. First, Elon Musk responded to this post. Joe Hansen said, "Tesla is almost sold out of Megapacks for 2027, and 2027 hasn't even started." Elon on the call yesterday said, "We are actually almost sold out of all Megapacks for 2027. We also expect gross margins on that to increase meaningfully." The CFO said the [0:28] extreme demand comes from data centers. Every new AI data center needs power, and that power needs storage. Sold out more than a year ahead means Tesla gets to pick the price. And Elon Musk responded to that by saying, "We are increasing production of Megapacks as much as possible." Tesla recruiting said the Terafab will be the most epic chip building exercise ever, producing 1 [0:46] terawatt of SI compute annually. Mercedes sold its Tesla stake for $780 million. That 4% is worth around $56 billion today. In the clip from yesterday, Musk explains how Mercedes ended up there. The US government gave Tesla almost 500 million. And he's asked directly whether that loan would have saved the company. He says no. Elon Musk said they were the only ones. There was no other company, no other entity, or any kind from which we could get investments. Tesla repaid the government's 500 million with interest and a prepayment penalty 10 years early. He sent a thank-you note with it. Elon Musk said on his thank-you note, "I don't like having a lot of [1:21] debt. Taxpayers supported Tesla. We ought to repay them as soon as we can." Mercedes turned 500 million into 780 million and walked away in 2014. So, was that a great investment or the most expensive mistake in car industry history? Elon Musk reposted the Fireside Alpha podcast. This podcast was about Intel CTO explaining why Intel is helping Elon Musk build Terafab and what [1:41] a new fab needs besides tools. I think it'll be interesting to discuss the partnership you guys have with Elon on Terafab. What's going on there? Um well, um I think uh so, Elon's publicly talked about his desire to build a fab. We either build the Terafab or we don't have the chips, and uh we need the chips. So, we're going to build a [1:59] terafab. Sort of the same thinking, you know, I think he's seeing just an enormous increase in demand for for silicon, for compute, and for memory. And I think he came to the conclusion that his own businesses are going to require a lot of silicon. And uh so, he thought maybe he should just do it all his own. Unlike building a car, for example, um this is such an intricate and complicated process. We thought we could work together to help accelerate his bringing [2:25] up his fab. Mhm. But because of the bottleneck of the tool level, Yes. it seems like the net amount of silicon in the world won't increase. It's just that maybe if somebody were to start a new fab, they would get access to guaranteed supply in a way that they wouldn't have if they were working with [2:40] another person's foundry. It's actually not just tools. I mean, there's a fab does require a lot of power, a lot of water, like a lot of consumables. There's many other input variables as well. But those can be scaled in the way that like tools cannot. Yeah, some more than others. Yes. Um but yes, in one sense, yes, we need a lot more equipment, but it is true. I mean, we also need a lot more just raw fab [3:01] space, lot raw clean room uh city. And moving on to SpaceX, Captain Eli said, "In September 2014, Elon stood under a tent on an almost empty beach at the very tip of Texas. Waves crashing just over the dunes, and broke ground on a launch site. In May 2025, he stood in front of a crowd at the same corner of Texas and said it plainly, 'Not that long ago, there was basically nothing [3:22] here. I see. Now, it's a city, literally.' On May 3rd, 2025, Starbase voted to incorporate 212 to 6. In Elon's words, 'The first new city made in America in I think quite a few decades.' Even his victory laps come with error bars. What gets to me is how it got here. One of the first things to fly was Starhopper, a stubby steel tank on legs in what he calls the original sort of Mad Max rocket. In August 2019, it hopped 150 m. Then came prototypes that flew, flipped, and sometimes exploded in full public view right next to a public highway. And Captain Eli ended this by saying the [3:57] line that I keep coming back to is, "We can be out there amongst the stars making science fiction no longer fiction." From empty dunes to city that builds more ships, I made a short film about it. And Elon Musk responded to this saying, "True." Eric Berger just now on the Aerospace Safety Aviation panel call, member Charlie Precourt said, "The latest estimate for refuelings needed to support a Starship landing on the moon is around 22 launches." Elon Musk replied to this saying, "That's way too high. Actual [4:24] number will be more like six to eight." Elon Musk reposted a post by Stark OXBT which said, "Ron Baron has been investing for 56 years. He just said he has never seen a company like SpaceX, not one. He made his clients $15 billion on it. He gave up $3 billion of his own profit to keep his shares. His frame, I do not want Elon to think about us as someone he gave stock to who sold the first chance they got. The numbers Baron threw out are the ones nobody is modeling. SpaceX sold its capacity to Anthropic at 1.2 billion a month for 18 months straight, 15 billion a year. Then [4:57] Google came in asking for compute. Elon said, "Here's what I have left, 900 million a month. That's 25 billion in a year just on the compute slice." And then he said, "The economy doubles every 10 years." Elon thinks instead of doubling we're about to grow 10 times every 10 years. And the post finished off by saying, "56 years, never seen one like this." And here's his chart about useful payload to orbit competitors combined versus Starship flight 14. And as you can see, all competitors had 4.8 tons of payload while just the Starship flight 14 had 52 tons. And Elon reposted that. You can see Starhopper right here [5:33] launching in 2019. And now you can see Starship flight 14 launching in 2026. Elon Musk reposted that. Breaking, American Airlines CEO Robert Isom says, "Starlink is the best product in the marketplace." He said, and quote, "Our customers, they want connectivity. They demand it. We're going to make sure that our customers have the best product in [5:51] the marketplace, Starlink." Eric Daugherty said, "Just in, J.D. Vance mic drops European bureaucrats and fake news for attacking Elon Musk, then begging for him to unleash Starlink for Ukraine." On the issues with Starlink that Ukraine has been having, Starshield said any decision on Starshield would come from the Pentagon or the president. The Wall Street Journal said that it was discussed with him. Do you agree with some Republicans that there should be an [6:16] investigation? J.D. Vance said, "I do find it a little ironic that the European countries who have nothing like the technology that Elon has developed in Starlink, these countries have almost universally decided to wage regulatory and licensing wars against SpaceX. And now they're all running to SpaceX saying, 'Please do what we need you to do.'" And Elon Musk posted that. And Doge Designer said, "Breaking, US ambassador to South Africa Leo Boesel slams the government for blocking Starlink's offer of free internet for 5,000 schools." He said, "Everyone would agree that Starlink is a great idea for South Africa. Starlink is a great idea in every single nation on [6:54] Earth because of what it's been able to do." The government said, "We want 30% of that company here." Which of course is preposterous. And Elon Musk is never going to do that. They said, "No, we want 30% of your company." So he said, "Go pound sand. I'll go in every other country on planet Earth." And Elon Musk reposted that. And Doge Designer said, "Breaking, Chile's government through the Nuble Health Service will connect 38 rural clinics across 14 municipalities with Starlink. More than 12 million Chilean pesos from the Ministry of Health's local management support program will fund the installation and activation costs." And Elon Musk reposted this. This channel said, "From [7:31] what I can tell from my exposure to it, the Japanese voice on this platform is the most blessed and wholesome signal in the media world." And Elon reposted that. And speaking of X, Doge Designer said, "How to share x.com links with friends and family? Use the share icon located at the bottom right of your post." He continued by saying, "Unfortunately, many people still [7:49] believe everything they see on the news. Do your part in spreading the truth. Forward x posts on Grok." Grok is attracting a higher share of new users than any other major SI website. In September 2026 alone, 40.91% of grok.com's traffic came from new users, the highest share among ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and DeepSeek. And Grok can now use calendar, reminders, contacts, and more apps on your phone, rolling out now on iOS and Android. And Elon Musk said to this, "Grok bot now integrates with your phone apps." And Min Choi said, "Grok bot is becoming the personal AI assistant everyone needs, getting money back on medical bills, handling Amazon [8:27] returns, booking appointments, managing family schedules." And Elon Musk said, "Try Grok bot." And Tesla Economics said, "Years from now, people look back and say Grok bot was the moment AI actually became useful for normal people." And Elon Musk responded to this by saying, "Grok bot is an incredible life and business manager. It can help you with almost anything. It's like having a genius employee." Tesla Economics also said, "I just bought my [8:50] kids two Garmin watches with one text." He said, "Grok bot ordered me two Visamart 5S's for my two kids shipped to my house." He continued by saying, "It already knows my address and my card. It found the right size, color, etc." Elon Musk responded to this by saying, "It's that easy." And Nemo OG points out that most people use Grok bot like a chat bot, but it also has computer and keeps working while you're away. Elon Musk [9:13] responded to this by saying, "True." Alex Slater said, "Wow, Grok bot is super effing good and beautifully designed. 10 out of 19 product." And Elon Musk responded saying, "Try Grok bot." Liam says, "Grok bot genuinely changed his life. My Grok bots are now part of pretty much everything I do, both at work and in my personal life. It's actually crazy how much I rely on them now." And Elon Musk said Grok bot to this, "These users said that Grokbot 0.75.2 is awesome. They continued by saying SpaceX XSI is moving fast with new features daily. And Elon Musk reposted this. Justine Moore said, "I asked Grokbot to make a video about [9:48] itself. It did everything. Set the storyline, it found clips, cut the silences and stitched them, and added titles and music. I was particularly delighted by how it shows the end of the video. @bot has a sense of humor." And Elon Musk reposted this. And here's everything that the Grokbot team shipped in the last few days. Reports, memos, dashboards in the chat. I have an action button to talk to Grok. Three times faster computer tasks, aliases for your bot emails, connectors for Robinhood, Coinbase, and Runway. Notifications only on the device you're using. And Elon Musk reposted this. And on the topic of Grokbot's new update for iOS and [10:22] Android, Grokbot can now directly interact with apps on your phone and handle everyday tasks for you. This is a huge step towards having a personal SI agent that can actually interact with your phone and make everyday life easier. And Elon Musk reposted this. And Grokbot posted on the Grokbot account that it can now use your 1P password account. It can approve your logins you want to share, and the bot signs in for you. This new integration is rolling out to users over the next few days. And Elon reposted this. And Tech Dev notes said, "Grokbot is now in X chat." And Elon reposted this. And moving on to [10:53] politics, Hillary Clinton said she wants to expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices. Fisher King responded to this by saying the playbook will go something like this. "Win back the House and Senate, and hopefully the presidency in 2028." Admit DC and Puerto Rico as states, which don't need a constitutional amendment to gain four new Senate seats. And then finally to pack the Supreme Court." Elon Musk responded to this by saying, "This is literally their plan to end democracy in America." Democrat nominee for US Senate James Solaric said, "He hates voter ID with every fiber of his being and calls it anti-American." Elon Musk responded to this by saying, "Solaric hates Texas [11:27] and America." And Elon Musk responded to Donald Trump who said, "To the great people of Texas, get out and vote for and he said, "Important to vote." And on Hillary Clinton wanting to pack the Supreme Court, Western Lensman said, "It's about making the court less partisan and has nothing to do with entrenching Democratic power, of course." Lone Star Liberty Pack said, "James Talarico headlined the pride event alongside an 11-year-old child drag queen named Queen Kiki." When attendant posted a video of the young boy doing the splits. And Elon Musk said about this, "Something deeply wrong with Talarico." And look at James Talarico [12:01] saying this. They use that catchphrase to go after any kind of inclusion of gay kids in our schools. Um any kind of inclusion of kids of color or books with characters of color or gay characters. And they're doing that at the same time that they're actually pushing indoctrination into our schools. There was a bill to force every teacher in Texas to display the Ten [12:25] Commandments on their classroom walls. They're seeking to build a Christian nationalist theocracy. Right here in the United States of America. And just like the the Taliban or Al-Qaeda is a perversion of Islam in pursuit of political and social power, the same is true of these Christian nationalists that are trying to destroy our democracy [12:48] and undermine our constitution. And this account said that 33 out of 34 deadly cities in America have Democratic mayors. Dallas is the only one that doesn't. New Orleans, Baltimore, Memphis, Detroit, DC, all of them. The national average is 6.3. They own the slaughter. And Elon Musk reposted this. And Ken Paxton responded to Donald Trump's get out the vote effort by saying, "Go vote." And Elon reposted this. This user said that Bloomberg drops 80 million on Democrats midterm push. 24 million to Everytown, 16 million to House Majority PAC. And Elon Musk reposted this. And The Persistence said, "Today is a great day to vote in person for Ken Paxton in Texas. If Texas [13:27] falls, there's no future for our country. And Elon reposted this. Gunther Eagleman said, "President Trump just dropped his fuel endorsement slate, and every one of these patriots needs your vote." He said, "Ken Paxton for US Senate, Greg Abbott for governor, Dan Patrick for lieutenant governor, Miles Middleton for attorney general." He continued by saying, "And 30 America first fighters for Congress all the way down the ballot. Early voting is open right now and runs through Friday, October 30th. Election day is November 3rd. The Democrats are pouring money in because they think Texas is up for grabs. Prove them wrong." And Elon Musk reposted this. Gunther Eagleman continued by saying, "Elon Musk just [14:05] called out James Hollerico as a creep and told Texas to vote for Ken Paxton." He continued to mention that early voting is open right now in Texas. "I do not sit this one out. Vote Ken Paxton. Keep Texas red." And on wokeness, Red Beard Flynn said, "If you think BioWare just became woke, you never played a damn BioWare game. FFS, they wrote religious panic about gay characters in DA Origins. Private equity killed BioWare, and it'll kill your favorite studio, too." Zach responded to this by saying, "Private equity killed BioWare because they made multiple bad games that didn't sell. The reason why they didn't sell is what should be discussed, [14:41] not blaming basic businesses. If L Guard had the same success of Crimson Desert or Baldur's Gate 3, they wouldn't have shut down the studio." And Elon Musk responded to this by showing a target icon. And Prism posted this full clip. Read what they said about this. Right? Cuz this just happened an hour ago. For more than 30 years, BioWare has been a studio has been more than a studio. It has been a home for storytellers, developers, and the players who brought our worlds to life. Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Anthem. Well, I don't know about the last one, but yeah. Now, after [15:11] more than three decades of shared adventures, BioWare is closing, and early development on the next Mass Effect project is ending. There is nothing easy about writing these words. Our focus right now is on our incredibly talented team who put their hearts into these games supporting one another through this transition. What generations of BioWare built together is [15:27] something to celebrate and remember. These games became so much more because you played them, debated your choices, fell in love with the characters, and made the worlds your own. From all of us here at BioWare, thank you for being the most meaningful part of our story. I mean, this is a nice little going away message, but it never had to be like this. You never had to make a game like Dragon Age The Veilguard. Everybody was saying this is bad, we don't like this, [15:47] and you just went ahead with it anyway. Like, why did you think was a good idea? And also like Dragon Age The Veilguard, this is the big problem is that whenever you have activists inside of video games, the big thing that's a problem is that activists don't care about video games foundationally. It's not like they activists all they want to do is they just want to make a character gay and that's it. The problem is that whenever you have those people that are involved in development, they have no interest in what the game play loop is. They have no interest in, you know, how fun it is to [16:14] play. They have no interest in how interesting is this boss fight. They don't care about the narrative outside of how it dovetails into their ideology. So, Dragon Age The Veilguard was a terrible game. And on the same topic, Donald Morgan Jr. said, "I want to expand on this because for BioWare's original games, I was a target demographic." Continues to say that Baldur's Gate and NWN, KotOR, and DAO were all games that managed to target in my soul what I wanted from a game. Me, and one by one they killed each of them. Not with a bang, but with a steady delay of the core mechanics and [16:45] plots. He went on to say, "Except for KotOR, that's because they just said it on fire on the way out and left the modders to pick up the pieces. Eventually, they would release a game and I'd look at it, think back on what it was, and say, 'No, I don't think I'll buy that.' Literally, all they had to do was hit the rewind button and say, 'You know that thing that made us money that [17:03] all gamers wanted? Let's make that.' They refused." And Elon Musk reposted this. Brawls Alert said, "Breaking: Trump confirms the government will pay Nick Shirley $4 billion if he uncovers $400 billion more in fraud." A user responded to this by saying, "Make letters of Mark great again." And Elon Musk replied to both of these by saying, "Yes." Wall Street Apes replied to a video by HHS Rapid Response by saying, "Insane. 100% of New York adult daycares that were audited were fraud. We audited 15 of them. There is no record of a single meal, activity, or a single hour of supervision. Illegal kickbackers were [17:38] also reported with these adult daycares. How this scam works is that the daycares will sign people up and offer them a thousand a month cash." The adult daycare will then bill around $120 per day to taxpayers. So, they make around 3,600 a person and give the person $1,000 of it per month back as a kickback. So, they pocket 2,600. The person with the Medicaid insurance gets $1,000. Taxpayers are being robbed blind." And Elon Musk reposted this. On socialism, Brevioli said, "Capitalism [18:07] has a win condition. Socialism does not. Here's why. Explained so simply that a 10-year-old could get it." Capitalism has a win condition. Socialism does not. Here's why. Explained so simply a 10-year-old could get it. It starts with a book written in 1944 by an Austrian economist named Friedrich Hayek, The Road to Serfdom. Imagine a classroom of 30 kids. One day, the teacher says, "From now on, I decide what everyone eats for lunch, which games you play at recess, and who sits [18:34] next to whom. It's fairer that way." First problem, the teacher doesn't know what you like. You hate carrots. Your friend is allergic to peanuts. Lucas wants to play football. Emma wants to draw. 30 kids, 30 different wishes. Nobody can know all of that, not even the smartest teacher on Earth. Hayek called this the knowledge problem. The information needed to run an economy is scattered across millions of heads, and [18:56] it can't be gathered in one office. Second problem, the kids start fighting. "Why does he get the window seat? Why football again?" Before, everyone just chose for themselves. Now, every choice is a fight. Buck said, "You can't say migrants are responsible for 100% of rapes in Oslo because there is no data to show that because in 2011, literally every single rape was from a non-Western migrants for 5 years straight. So that the Oslo police completely stopped reporting data. And to this story, Elon Musk responded with "Wow." X Freeze said, "Margaret Thatcher explained this perfectly back in 1983. The government does not money of its own. Every time [19:31] politicians promise to spend more, someone has to pay for it." Cream who said, "How many Americans actually straight up starve to death? In the latest data from 2024, there were 22 cases and not even one of them was about poverty making it unaffordable to obtain food." And Elon Musk reposted this. And about Elon, Babel said, "I don't think people realize what Elon Musk is actually doing. He's not playing the game better than everyone else. He's rewriting the rules of the game. Every billionaire before him was offered the same deal, money for aura, silence for respectability. They all took it. He walked out." And Elon reposted this. And [20:04] that's everything Elon said today. Grok Buck can now use phone apps like your calendar, messages, contacts, and even your lights and locks. SpaceX cut out its refueling flight for a moon Starship down from 22 to 6 to 8. Tesla is ramping up Megapack production. Elon says DC and Puerto Rico statehood plus corp packing would end democracy. And that's everything I have for you today. As always, if you guys want early access, please join the channel as a member. And I'm just covering for Isaac today.
