# I Built a GrokBot From Scratch! Here's How to Set Yours Up

[0:00] Welcome to a new video. We're going to be covering what everyone's been talking about lately, which is Grockbot. And if you don't know what Grockbot is, it's another version of a personal AI assistant. But I find that this is a little bit more intuitive than your chat GPT dots or even include duet. So, I'm going to start sharing my screen and I'm going to show you just a bit of the info about what to actually do, how to install it, and then from there you can use it for yourself as well. Uh, so obviously here's Grockbot. Uh, so you can download for your computer, whether you're Mac OS or Windows. Uh and as you

[0:41] can see on the UI or the display that you can actually have different types of uh agents that are doing different things. So for example, you can have a chief of staff which will book your hotels for you. Uh it can manage your other AI agents as well. Uh there's a sales outbound uh agent as well which can you know search for different sales and that kind of stuff. Uh you got inbox manager as well. Uh account manager too as well as like talent scouts expense manager and off-site crew too. So you can message them like your teammates. Um I personally like to call my bots um

[1:25] their individual names. So, for example, uh if you can think of a really cool name that you can remember like I don't know um like Jesse for example or um you know maybe Grocky or Botsy. Um, if you choose a name that you you can relate with, it's much easier to work with cuz uh when it comes to artificial intelligence or super intelligence um superh intelligence, we can look at these different bots as um like teammates, right? And over time, you get used to it. You get to use it more and it's really cool. Uh so I would compare Grockbot like since testing it very similar to what you can do on Hermes as

[2:13] well as on OpenClaw. Um but it's very very easy to install and to use. Um you can work with many bots at once. So the downside between chatbt dots versus cord duet versus um muse versus grockbot is that Grockbot actually has you know multiple different businesses or different functions you can have and they can all talk to each other which is the cool thing about it. Whereas dots you just have one agent and I think I shared in a previous video uh where in that video and guide uh you can see that it only just talks to yourself. Um if you want to know the full you know

[2:54] details about that as well um do check out the AI growth hub as well. It's a community where pretty much we're all learning to master as well as make money with AI. Uh and from there you can, you know, gel with others that are learning the same skill sets to do that in their own day-to-day life. And my mission with that community is to impact millions of people uh so that they don't actually have to, you know, do the mundane and the things that they don't want to do and they can focus on the things that they're really good at. Uh so we'll just continue with Grockbot. Uh so obviously

[3:32] you can show Grogbot how to do it right. You can ask it you know based on a workflow uh it can run that workflow for you. You can connect the bots together which is quite cool and I found that what that was one of the features that I really liked and it gets smarter over time. So um Hermes as well as open core as well as Grockbot all these different AI agents they have this thing called continuous learning where the more that you give context or the more that you give information to it the more it actually learns and it learns to go even further um it gets smarter uh it can do

[4:09] things for you and it's very proactive as well whereas before maybe last year or the year before AI wasn't as proactive So you would send something to it, you just get a response. But now it actually thinks forward and actually suggests things for you to do based on what's on your plate. Uh so you can give each one a job. You can, you know, obviously based on your business or based on your personal life, you can, you know, do like paid media for example. You can see if it's um you know, checking metrics on ad spend on Meta or Google. Uh you can, you know, track your expenses. um you know, if

[4:45] you're spending a lot uh going overseas or whatever or even just food or day-to-day life, you can even get it to track your expenses and it tells you um through Grockbot, you know, what you've actually spent. Uh you can do product performance, bug, uh reproduction, account health, or even become a chief of staff. So you can literally create a team that does things on the computer for you while you can go and you know I don't know do what you do best which is you know maybe you know run your business or uh get sales or customer service or that kind of stuff. So if you

[5:21] just scroll down you can have a look here. So that's uh x.ai/bot. So obviously you can see that there's some demos here. Um I would start with just the $30 plan if you just want to get the ins and outs. I'm getting a lot just for $30 per month. Anyway, so what it does is that you can use Grock for, you know, it has its own computer and then you can do things, you know, on your phone. It it just does things while you are maybe even traveling as well and you don't have reception. It just does things um and it creates routines for you. So inless routines and this is um

[5:57] what happens with normal personal agents is that with routines you can get it to set a time like 8:00 a.m. in the morning or you know midnight for example and from those you can then um use those different schedules to to run different tasks for you. Um maybe it's like set ads or write email to this person or do this. So it's really cool in being able to set those routines. Um, you can work anywhere as well. So, you can work on your desktop or mobile or, you know, if you've got like a, you know, massive AI server that's set up, you can do that, too. Uh, and there's

[6:32] also weekly usage as well that's included. So, I would just start with the premium first. Um, just to get your head around it. You can do a lot with the premium. Uh, with super, obviously, it depends on the kind of usage. If you're using it a lot, uh, you can start upgrading that to $100 per month. And then ultra obviously if you're very much Grockbot heavy um you can use you know obviously the 12x premium usage as well and you get access to uh all the new

[6:58] products and models that come out too. So that's pretty much it. All you need to do is just click the download button uh you download it. Once you've downloaded it um it will come up with a different screen. So it will come up with a screen like this. Uh so I've set this up already. Um I've actually wanting to just experiment this with the school community that I've got which is the AI growth hub. Uh I pretty much are using chat and claude as well to manage um both the content side of things. So Claude has my content as well as a lot of what I do with my clients um in

[7:39] regards to orchestration and managing the projects. And then with CL chat GBT is just mainly like images that I use it for. I even use claw to go and program to chat GPT to create images for me. Um but you can use both of them to um pretty much to scale up your business. So I'm just using this as one for a test thing. Uh and secondly, I just wanted to see the capabilities. So it's actually quite quite neat. So, what you do if you just want to create a new bot, you just go here, you name it. Say, I don't know, just call it Jackie for

[8:15] example. Um, and for Jackie, for example, you can like change it to a cloud, a star. You can change the colors. You can go black, red, green, etc. And then just go create, right? So, now we have Jackie, right? So, it just creates bots like this. And the cool thing about it is that you can you can see it will even just give you a

[8:39] bit of an intro. So, hi KJI, I'm Jackie. Um, you've already got Joey, Grocky, uh, Sam, and also Vince. Um, who are doing a lot of ground work, but you know, where can I fill in the gap? So, for example, it could be research and market intel. Uh, I don't think I've anything to do with that yet. So, I will actually get Jackie to do that. Okay, great. research market intel. It is what should I dig into? Should we competitors? Uh so maybe um just find out the trending communities and how they are getting leads and

[9:17] members. Uh also research the top trending um you know posts for our niche. and formats content formats from successful from actually let's do from creators that uh 500k followers and above. All right. So pretty much you can get it to replicate or emulate certain behaviors of what other people are doing. Obviously, you got to have your own flavor because you don't want to steal people's work. Um, and I highly go against that. So, just make sure you do things that is in your own way. Uh, so for example, I've got Jackie doing content. I've got doing some outreach for brand partnerships as well as um, you know, different outreach things that

[10:19] we're looking for. So, there's a regardless. Okay. Um maybe new leads, right? So just like new leads. We've got Viral Vince who's, you know, helping us with um lead generation, um creating formats and that kind of stuff. Uh what else can you do? Uh okay. And we've got Sam managing our school. Um so we do have a a 7-day challenge that's coming up tomorrow. Uh and you can you know obviously jump into

[10:51] the membership um through the community. Uh you can you know just go in and and have a look too. Um but we'll be starting that tomorrow. Um it it is only you know you know less than what you would spend on a coffee. Uh and the reason why I made it you know your coffee budgets like how much is it per month right? Um, the reason why I do it that way is because it gets you an inn, right? Because if you jump on for free,

[11:17] like you're not going to pay attention. But if you actually have like some skin in the game, um, you might actually do something with it and you might make more, too. Uh, so, so we've got Sam doing this, but you can get them all in a group chat, right, which is cool, right? Um, can you add Jackie as well? All right. So, for example, you can add, you know, everyone into the group chat and then they can just talk to each other, which is like kind of cool. Um, so they all look like uh little characters here. I don't know if you've ever played Yu-Gi-Oh before, but um it

[11:56] kind of looks like Kuribo from Yu-Gi-Oh. And when you play that multiply card, it's um you know, Kuribo expands and multiplies. Um so, it kind of looks like that as well. So, we've got we've got Jackie here, too. So you can see on the on the right here, you've got all these characters. And one thing that is the cool thing about all these personal applications. Um I do like Hermes a little bit more because it's a bit more sovereignty uh in regards to your data because you can put it in your own server, it's protected and that kind of thing. Um whereas like if you use like

[12:30] Rockbot, it's on their servers. So you just have to be mindful if you're not like technical. um you probably want to use this to to set things up really quickly and have something going for yourself. If you do want something that's you know more data centric uh and let's say you work with a lot of client data it's probably better to run something like open core or homies um but yeah you can add all your apps so for example if you use granola for example if you use notion uh canva email right you can add your email gmail outlook google calendar slack you can connect to

[13:08] your x for example Google slides uh So these are all these apps here. You can even uh get it to do custom ones too. So for example, if you go to bot templates, right? So uh let me just share this one. Okay, so it opens up the marketplace here. So you can see how like there's different bots that have been made by different people. So you can share your bot template with someone else. Um and that's the cool thing about it. if someone's already got, you know, a lot of context for, let's say, sales, for example, us, you know, Outlook prospecting. Um, the one thing that I

[13:50] didn't really like about this is that it doesn't have stars like GitHub does. Um, because in GitHub, you can have like 50,000 stars or 5.9 stars, uh, K stars, and you can see if that's actually working for them. Um, but this one's more like, you know, you just look at the memories, the skills, the routines, the integration, and then you can just search what kind of bots are actually working for you. Um, so you can search for any bot that you want here. Um, so that becomes like a custom thing. So you don't have to reinvent the wheel. But obviously if you want something, you know, that is you, right, you might as

[14:25] well want to create something yourself. Okay. So you can create, you can add all these in. Um, so they got like Stripe, uh, Shopify. So again, I would just have a look on what you need it for. Um, if you're not sure, you can even brainstorm with your chief of staff. So like just go, um, now based on what you know of me so far, uh, how can we structure

[14:53] the bots to run each function? Yep. So, it's thinking through it. You can see how like every time there's like a, you know, a new update, there's, you know, they're working on something, you know, you can retain something. Uh, so it's done this. Okay. So, it's gone here. I'll run it. Research each week.

[15:17] Okay. Yep. So, let's go. Let's implement. Oops. It'll get that. Yep. So, now we're going to have like a different scorecard and, you know, all these different things. I don't know why it's speaking Spanish, but something concerning. Oh, not really. It's just a bit of a joke. Yeah, I think you can uh speak Spanish as well, which is quite

[15:43] cool. So, once you've done that, basically, depending on the function that you need your business for or what you need it in your personal life, you can set all these agents to manage each part of it. So, for example, in your business, you might need marketing. So, what do you need marketing with content? What you know, how they run your your emails, um, etc., etc. You know, do they does it connect to your CRM? If it's lead genen, could be, you know, lead genen. If it's sales, like it could even just like create a sales flow or, you know, a script for like, let's say, your sales

[16:19] people to to run a script. Um, if it's uh potentially creating like lead magnets or guides, you can even do that. So stretch it as far as you can. Uh so again, like for me, I've just only looked at this for like the past day or so and you know, I'm really impressed on where things are at with this. Um you know, there's a lot of ways to, you know, be able to grow this as well. So um and the main thing is like just choose obviously one function of your business and then see which technology works for you. So for me, I kind of need

[16:53] like I can use Claude, but I think the outputs that I get from Claude, I kind of just want to focus that on the content that I'm using with with like any infographics, videos, uh post, chat, images and that kind of stuff uh in regards to brainstorming like I like to use chat for that. But like with this I want to focus this on one you know part of the function which I haven't really looked at which is community. So um yeah that's pretty much it from me.
