# How I Made $100k+ On ClickBank With This 1 Weird Device [Case Study] Channel: Revenue Tactics Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEG5X39hONA Duration: 15 min Language: English Words: 3490 Transcript page: https://viewrankai.com/tools/youtube-transcript/CEG5X39hONA --- [0:00] Hi guys, [music] Tom Bell here from Revenue Tactics, your go-to affiliate marketing channel for native ads, ClickBank, paid [music] traffic strategies, and building campaigns that can genuinely scale into something life-changing. Now, today's video is one I've been really looking forward to making cuz it's a genuine case study, not hypothetical, not a framework applied to a fictional campaign, a real offer, a real campaign, real numbers on the screen, and a story behind it that I think it's going to really open your eyes to an entire category of affiliate marketing opportunity that most people [0:25] in the space have never even considered. [music] Here's the headline: over $100,000 in sales from promoting just one physical device [music] on a single native ads campaign running on RevContent. And I'm going to show you everything: the offer as it appears in the ClickBank marketplace, the live campaign dashboard inside RevContent, the actual creatives that working, the funnel structure behind the numbers, and the specific lessons from this campaign that you can apply to your own regardless [music] of which vertical you're in and what [0:49] traffic source you're currently running. But before I take you to the screen, there's one thing about this case study that makes it different from anything I've put out on this channel before. I didn't just promote this offer as an affiliate. I've been working directly with the company behind it, a brand called Pulsetto, on their entire native ads media buying strategy, teaching them the platform, the methodology, the creative approach, the data analysis from the ground up, which means I have a level of access and transparency on this campaign that a standard affiliate case study simply can't offer. You're not just seeing the results, you're seeing the entire operation. And as the video [1:17] goes on, you'll see what an amazing company they are and what an amazing offer they have that's just hit the ClickBank marketplace, guys. So, if you're new to the channel, welcome. Hit subscribe cuz this is exactly the kind of content I put out every single week. And drop me a comment below. Have you ever considered promoting a physical device as an affiliate, or is this a completely new approach for you? I'd love [music] to [1:35] know. Right then, let's get into it. Before I take you inside the campaign, I want to make sure you understand what this product actually is because the offer itself is a big part of why this campaign has performed the way it has. Pulsetto is a vagus nerve stimulation device. It's a physical wearable, something you put around your neck that stimulates the vagus nerve using gentle electrical pulses. The vagus nerve is one of the longest and most important nerves in the human body. It connects the brain to the heart, the lungs, the digestive system, and multiple other organs. And stimulating it has been shown in clinical research reduce [2:05] stress, improve sleep quality, support recovery, and positively impact overall nervous system function. Now, I want to be transparent here. I'm not a doctor, and I'm not making medical claims. What I'm telling you is that vagus nerve health is a growing area of consumer interest, that the science behind vagal stimulation is legitimate and increasingly mainstream, and that Pulsetto built a genuine, high-quality product around that science, and many medical and even celebrity endorsements to back this up. And from a native ads perspective, this combination of factors is ideal. Let me explain why. The pain points this product speaks to stress, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy, difficulty recovering are amongst the [2:39] most universal, most emotionally resonant pain points in the entire consumer health space. We're not talking about a niche audience. We're talking about a vast majority of adults over 35 who are dealing with at least one of these things on a regular basis. That broad appeal was the first green flag for a native ads campaign. The second is the mechanism itself. Vagus nerve stimulation is a concept that most consumers have never encountered. It's genuinely new to them, and in native advertising, where the curiosity gap is your most powerful creative tool, a novel mechanism is pure gold. The moment someone reads the vagus nerve in a headline or sees a device on someone's [3:12] neck and wonders what it does, the curiosity gap is open. And the only way to close it is to click. The third green flag is the visual nature of the product itself. Unlike a supplement, where the creative has to be entirely concept-led, usually through an unusual food or ingredient combination, a physical device gives you an inherently visual and curious subject to work with in your ad image. The device itself is a pattern interrupt, a wearable on the neck. It's not something people expect to see while scrolling through news content. It stops the scroll. It creates the pause, and it earns the click. And the fourth green [3:39] flag is the ClickBank infrastructure behind it. Pulsetto is listed on the ClickBank marketplace, which means the affiliate experience, the tracking, the reporting, the commission structure, the payment reliability is all handled through a platform that serious affiliates already know and trust. That combination of a genuinely innovative physical product and the ClickBank infrastructure is not something you see every day and it's part of the reason that this opportunity caught my attention. Right, let's get into some screen sharing, guys. I'm going to take you inside the ClickBank dashboard first, then into RevContent dashboard, and then walk you through the creative and funnel structure that's been driving [4:10] the results. Okay, guys. So, I've just logged into ClickBank and I'm in the marketplace here. I'm going to search for the Pool Seto device. Here we go. Okay, we can view the sales page here. So, this is where you're going to be sending your traffic to, but I would recommend building an advertorial before you send traffic to here because obviously that's going to be consistent with the native user experience where people are consuming content on news-based websites, go through to your landing page which bridges that gap, and [4:36] then go through to the offer from there. So, really nice sales page there. We've tested this. It converts really, really well. Okay, I'm just going to come back into the marketplace and I'm going to go into the affiliate resources just here. So, we've got some really nice affiliate resources for Pool Seto. And I've seen loads of products on ClickBank over the years. These are genuinely some of the best I've ever seen, actually. So, I would highly recommend getting stuck into these. So, I'm going to go to the accessory section here cuz there's some really nice ad creatives that they've put in here for you. Actually, I'm in [5:04] the wrong section there. I'm going to go back to the affiliate section one more time. I'm going to go to Pool Seto Fit, this column here. Okay. So, let's have a look at the device images they've got here. Now, this is obviously an e-com campaign you're running, so it's fine to show the device itself in your creatives. After with the VSLA marketing I talk about on the channel, we want to show something with a little bit more [5:23] curiosity in the actual product itself. It could be something like the lemons boiling in the pan that we often talk about. Could be some kind of strange-looking food, some powder, some kind of consumable. Here, you're absolutely fine to show the actual offer itself. Okay. So, I'm going to come back into the folder here. I'm going to have a look in the lifestyle images folder right here. Some really nice pictures here, guys. You can use these for inspiration or you could feed them into AI perhaps and create some variations there. Um but I like the fact that we've actually got a human wearing the device. Um you know, [5:52] obviously it's a device that looks quite interesting and slightly odd. And obviously that's going to generate a lot of curiosity and it's going to give you a good strong click-through rate. So, we're combining the idea of the curiosity that we would primarily use for VSL marketing with the actual device itself, okay? So, I'm going to come back into the affiliate section one more time, and we can see here we've got some examples of keywords. If you're doing some paid traffic on some search campaigns, we can have a look and we can see what we've [6:18] got here. We've got some swipes, okay? So, any of you guys doing email marketing, you could use these, or you could use these to help inspire the landing page copy. So, when you're building your landing page, you could start with these emails and maybe repurpose them when it comes to your own landing page. I wouldn't recommend just copying them directly. Um a lot of people do that, and obviously you're just going to be competing against everyone else doing the same thing. So, don't do that. Think about it in your own way. Let's come back to the marketplace just for a moment. So, let's have a look at some of these numbers [6:47] here, cuz typically when you see me talk about other ClickBank offers on the channel, normally what I like to do is click on the offer here and go straight into the analytics. Now, because this is a brand new offer on ClickBank, we don't have a decent sample size here. So, this is going to be slightly misleading. Obviously, the gravity is really, really low at the moment anyway, and that's [7:04] just because it's a brand new product. So, take this with a pinch of salt. Don't look at this too literally. Obviously, we can kind of just see the gravity chopping sideways here, which is kind of what I would expect at this point. But, as this becomes more popular, as more people discover what a good offer this is, I imagine this will probably go up over time. We can see the average payout [7:22] here is $114. Um I'm going to show you in a moment the campaign we've been running, obviously, and we'll do some of the economic side of things there and and show you what's possible. Um 114 is a really good strong payout. We were actually on a little bit higher than that, cuz we were working with the company directly. But, that is a really good payout. That's enough have profitable with, for sure. So, don't take this stuff too literally. Inside the analytics, we're going to wait for a [7:45] larger sample size to collect on that. Right, next thing to do is to go into RevContent, okay? So, we can have a close look at the campaign we've been running. So, as you can see, we spent about $32,000 on this particular campaign that's running on mobile iOS devices. We'll go in the campaign settings in a moment and just have a have a look at that. Um, so we've had 783 conversions and we've had [8:06] an average cost per acquisition of $41. So, 783 multiplied by 114 works out roughly $90,000, but as I said, we're on a slightly higher payout than that, which takes the total over 100k. Let's go into the settings of the campaign itself. So, as you can see here, we're actually bidding the minimum amount for traffic. That's because we're running something called a whitelist campaign, which is where we're manually increasing our placements on the widgets that we want traffic from. So, we set the campaign bid to the minimum, increase it on the placements we want traffic from, and that just allows us to run only to those quality widgets, as you can see inside [8:41] here, okay? So, I'm going to go back to the settings. Obviously, we're spending $1,000 a day when we were running the test. We didn't start at that. We started a little lower, I think $500 we started off at and just gradually bumped it up. Pacing we had turned off because we wanted to spend the budget as quickly as we could. We're doing conversion tracking with RevContent. Now, some of you guys, if you're affiliates, obviously, as you probably will be watching this channel, you might be using an external tracker, like a tool like Volume, and you might be firing the conversions back to RevContent via postback URL. Okay? So, that's a [9:11] completely different thing. You don't need to create a conversion pixel inside RevContent if you're doing that. Just wanted to mention. So, we're targeting the United States and we're going all regions, all zip codes, all cities. Um, I recommend doing that as just a default when you're running a new campaign. I wouldn't need to target specific states and um areas in the United States. Maybe if you're doing a lead generation offer or something like that. Most of the time we're keeping it open, though. We're also doing mobile and iOS only. That's a really good placement to run on when it comes to rev content and I would have [9:38] separate campaigns for different devices, different operating systems like desktop Windows would have its own campaign, desktop Mac, etc. Okay? And then obviously language targeting we're going with English. Let's go into the actual content itself in terms of the ads. So you can see here, you know, think about just a moment ago where I showed the examples inside the Poll Sorter affiliate resources. We've got some product images here and then we've also got some of those more lifestyle curiosity based images where we've got a [10:02] human wearing the device as well, okay? There's lots of these here. I'm going to click on one of the ads and we're going to go through to the landing page. So we can see we've got an advertorial style landing page here. This is designed to sell the product testimonials, social proof, a clear narrative about the offer itself. This is the opposite to what you would do for something like a VSL offer where it's just short form, maybe a headline, maybe an image, short copy and a button. That's just designed to sell the video. This is designed to sell the actual product itself. Here's where we've got a good article here. We've got [10:30] this sticky button at the top. So somebody always has somewhere to go click through to the offer. Uh we've got some images here of the offer itself, clear introduction with the product, clear narrative voice inside the copy, some social proof there and then the final call to action at the end there as well, guys. So I hope that helps give you some more insight into the campaign. Let's continue with the [10:51] video. Okay guys, just a quick one. Six months of direct access to be personally where we work for your specific campaigns together from the ground up and build out your whole affiliate business together. And if you want the complete over-the-shoulder training on native ads from offer selection through to scaling, my native ads masterclass covers everything. Both linked below in the [11:18] description, guys. Let's continue. Now I want to spend the final section of this video extracting the lessons from this case study. The things I've taken away from this campaign that go beyond the specific offer and apply to how I think about affiliate marketing more broadly because I think there's five genuinely transferable insights there. Lesson one, physical devices are a massive under-explored category on native with affiliates. The vast majority of native ads affiliates are running the typical supplements and ClickBank digital products. The physical device category, health wearables, home technology, innovative gadgets, have a fraction of the affiliate competition and a genuinely visual creative opportunity that supplement campaigns [11:53] can't replicate. The native ads audience is broadly health conscious and technology curious. Devices that sit at the intersection of these two characteristics like Pueraria have a natural affinity with native that most affiliates have never explored. If you're looking for an edge in the competitive traffic environment, an under-explored offer category is one of the most powerful edges available. Lesson two, the mechanism hook is the [12:12] most valuable creative asset you have. Vegas nerve stimulation was genuinely unknown to most of the consumers we were reaching in this campaign. That novelty is what generated the curiosity gap that drove the click-through rates. When your offer has a mechanism that most consumers haven't encountered, lean into it completely. Build every creative element around making that mechanism intriguing before the product is ever named. The mechanism hook is not just a headline strategy, it's a worldview for how to approach creative development on any offer where the science or the process behind the product is genuinely new to the audience. Lesson number three, working directly with a brand changes [12:43] the entire dynamic. My relationship with Pueraria teaching their team native ads, being inside their media buying strategy, having direct access to the creative assets and product data gave me capabilities as an affiliate that a standard arms-length relationship simply doesn't provide. This is a preview of what serious affiliate marketing looks like at the top level. The top affiliates in this industry are not just promoting offers, they're building genuine partnerships with brands, relationships where both sides invest in each other's success and the results reflect that mutual commitment. If you're at a more advanced level and you could approach a brand, that's something worth thinking about is the economics [13:14] and the creative access on the other side of that conversation are worth significantly more than a standard affiliate relationship. Lesson four, RevContent is an underutilized platform with serious potential. Most affiliates talking about native ads are talking about Taboola and Outbrain. Revcontent sits alongside those platforms with a meaningful traffic pool, competitive CPCs, and an affiliate-friendly compliance environment that most people in the space haven't explored. The campaign we've been looking at today ran on Revcontent. Of course, we're doing lots of other tests elsewhere, and the results over 100K in commissions from a single campaign over a short test shows what's possible when you find the right offer, the right platform, and apply the [13:47] right methodology. Lesson five, the 100K number requires context. I want to be honest about what 100K in commissions actually represents in this campaign. This is gross commission, not profit. There is ad spend behind that number. There is a timeline behind that number as well. There is a significant amount of testing, optimization, and refinement behind that number before it reached the level it's at now. The reason I'm sharing the context is not to diminish the result. 100K from a single native ads campaign in a testing phase is a genuinely exceptional outcome. It's to make sure you understand what it takes to produce a result like this, guys. It [14:16] takes a proper offer evaluation process. It takes a funnel built specifically for the offer type and the traffic environment. And it takes tracking that gives you genuine visibility into what's working. It takes scaling discipline that builds on winning signals rather than jumping ahead into the data. And it takes, in this case, a direct brand relationship that gave us access to assets and insights that accelerated the entire process. Now, those things are learnable. They're teachable. And they're exactly what I work through with students inside my one-on-one coaching [14:39] program. Right, let's wrap this up, guys. Over $100,000 in sales from one physical device on one native ads campaign. That result didn't happen because Pulsed Air is a magic offer. It's a great product, but there's no magic offer out there, guys. It happened because a specific process was applied to a genuinely strong offer in an underexplored category on a platform that rewarded the approach. The category is available to you. The methodology is available to you as well. And the offer is available for you, too. And the results at whatever level makes sense for your situation and your budget are achievable if you apply the process properly. If you found this [15:10] video valuable, give it a like. helps the channel reach more people that need to see this kind of content. And subscribe if you haven't already. And leave me a comment. Would you consider promoting a physical device as as affiliate after watching this? I'd love to hear your thoughts. As always, guys, thanks so much for watching and I'll see [15:25] you in the next video. --- About this transcript Read from YouTube's own caption track and laid out by ViewRank AI (https://viewrankai.com).
